Booked a superior room. It’s so small that it’s not enough room for two adults and two suitcases. Every time we flushed the toilet it sounded like an alarm went off. We let the manager know and he said maintenance would fix the problem. This did not happen even after reminding him. We stayed 4 nights and the “alarm” is still going off.

We had a really lovely stay at Rydges Australia Square, just be careful as there are a few Rydges close by and it took us 3 tries to get our hotel correct (silly us). Hotel was spotless and room for great, our breakfast was superb, great variety of fresh ingredients and lovely place to sit. The staff were all lovely and friendly. The location of the hotel was perfect. 15 minute walk to the Harbour Bridge and Opera House, we loved our stay and would recommend this hotel

Our view on the 11th floor was a concrete wall. Thursday, Friday night there was a DJ in the square which kept us up until 11:30. (the room price for those nights should be cut in half). The concrete wall was perfect for amplifying the music. The room and bathroom were very nice. The parking for $35 was not great. It did not allow for in an outs. So once you left for the day and came back - that was it. The staff who checked us in was very curt. Imagine flying a world a way. All she wanted to do was dispatch us in less than 10 seconds. It was a pain to draw out the parking situation, the lack of breakfast, or any other amenities.

Nice hotel; would’ve given 5 stars, but didn’t have a great experience with the hotel staff. Asked about getting in 10 minutes before the official breakfast opening, due to an early tour departure. Was told that it wasn’t possible, which we understood. But as the doors opened for breakfast that morning and we rushed in to grab a few items to take along for breakfast, we happened upon another couple, who was leisurely finishing up their breakfast. I mentioned this issue to the night manager that evening, who told me he would look into how that had happened. We never received an explanation.
We understand the need for hotel policies, but if you’re going to have them, at least enforce them consistently.

The staff was extremely helpful for our group, which we truly appreciated. Rooms were clean and property was in great condition. Breakfast was very good! We loved that the hotel was centrally located to many attractions, and the neighborhood was safe at all times. The only pitfall was the loud techno-beat music from the bar/restaurant that was next door/outside.

Rydges Square was in a very good location. Easy walking distance to Sydney Harbor, the Rocks and shopping. The metro train stop was close by as were many restaurants.
Our only complaint was the layout of the room. There wasn’t much room for luggage or drawers to put things in.

A great location within the CBD. Although the room was on the smaller side, the condition was excellent, with no wear and tear in sight.

The staff especially Grace at the front desk.. for a first time visitors to Australia she made my sister and I feel very welcomed. Coming from a very long flight an early check in was very much appreciated. She also helped us getting to where the closest public transportation from the hotel. Thank you Grace! The hotel is clean and nice. We will surely comeback. Location is good, close to Circular Quay and walking distance to bus and train station.

Clean, great location, staff very helpful. Room was ready at 8am, there was an upcharge of A$30, but it was well worth being able to get settled into the room early in the day. I believe there was an additional charge for the breakfast but it was ample and very convenient as there did not appear to be other options nearby. They were having trouble with their elevators creating long waits at times and a stressful situation (3 elevators for clients - one out of service until a new part arrives, one with loud scraping noises, one fully functional).

Overall the hotel was amazing I have zero complaints it was over the direct Xmas period so Sydney as a whole in the city was dead but the hotel had the kitchen open and a bar downstairs. The room whilst small (as I knew coming in) was clean and well laid out. Location was also very good (100m to light rail and 200m to Martin place and Circular Quay). Overall can't fault the hotel.

The location was great, and the staff were very nice and helpful. The towels smelled like sulphur, and more looked yellow than white. The twoels were worn out. Breakfast not great, not consistent, first morning was ok, second morning most of the items were missing from the menu... I hope they fix these issues since it will be great...

Room was although small but was in a good condition.
Staff were not very informative.
We had to ask where the kettle was kept..it was in a wardrobe and not on a table outside.
.
We were not provided with a local map as WiFi for goggle map didn’t work well within tall buildings.
Breakfast same for our three nights stay and had not much for vegetarian apartment from bread and fruits and pastries.
Excellent location for visiting Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge.

I stayed in 2 different rooms (some days apart) - the first one was pretty much OK, the second time was too small, a corner one.
The breakfast had no vegetables and the eggs were under cooked.
The staff was friendly.

The hote was strategically located in the heart of Sydney’s CBD accessible to almost every tourist spots in the area. The room is spotless and bed was comfortable to sleep in after a tiring day of tour. The staff were friendly and the only improvement that I’d like was a change of the breakfast’s menu. Other than that, definitely enjoyed our stay!

The hotel is a bit like self-serve setting. The staff seems not well trained and experienced in hospitality service, a bit aloof, limited interaction, smile, eye contact with customers. Lack of warm and welcoming feeling when entering the hotel. Feel like entering self-serve motel. The restaurant staff in Le Pitt Flot was a bit rude when we asked him some question about the meal deals. Could be friendly, less arrogant attitude with the customers. The breakfast is great, food is delicious. The hotel location is great, walking distance to Circular Quey/ferry, major shopping centres, and train/tram station. It will be great to improve the customer services
