What a great place to stay in Sydney , location is so close to tram and walkable to train station and everything, very clean and staff are very nice and helpful. Breakfast is also very good with so much varieties, I would recommend it to anyone and if I come back to Sydney I will stay here again.

The first night we had the most horrible sleep. The bed had a huge dip in the middle and had completely lost all its support. We approached the desk the next morning and were advised we could be moved straight away to level 12 (we were on 16) or we could be put in a new room after 2pm. We opted after 2pm and while out checked what we had booked. I had paid extra to be put in a room on level 22 and higher. Realised they had not initially put us in this level room.
The rooms were identical on each floor and very dated. Need modernising but are tidy. They are not spacious at all. There were three of us in the room and it was tight. Very limited space for bags. We were provided with two towels for three people, two mugs etc. luckily we were not spending much time at the hotel. It was sufficient for what we required but if planning on spending time at the hotel I would suggest elsewhere. The pool is quite small once you get quite a number of people in it. The men at the door were lovely and all very helpful.

When I checked in for a Deluxe Double Double room, I was given a room very close to an office building whose workers could see into my room as I could observe them.
Heavy curtains and inner curtains (that let some light in) are on the two windows however, one can't have these opened unless one wants to be visible to the workers mere meters from your room. I found this to be claustrophobic. I asked for another room and was given one on the opposite side of the building. Avoid rooms ending in 08.

Room was good. Upgrade was great. The seating was uncomfortable, and well past its use by date. There was no freezer space in the fridge- important to us for medication. We'll come back again, without doubt, hoping to find new lounge seating in the room@

Night blind was broken on the window. Booking promised 'city views' and the only views seen by 10 year old daughter were a naked couple slapping each others bottoms in the adjacent building (they had their blinds into their toilet/bathroom wide open) and a Sydney traffic intersection. Pool was very crowded and noisy every time visited - we gave up after the 5th trip to see if it was a littld quieter.

Great location - a few minutes walk to the nearest train station and a couple of minutes walk to the nearest light rail station. Our room was huge and the bed was super comfortable. The staff were fabulous - so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed using the heated pool and spa. Bar opening hours were a bit limited though.

Not a 5* experience at all.

Drove up and the man on reception said we had to move the car immediately, meaning we’d have to drag our large suitcases and multiple bags a long distance after hours of travelling.

Furthermore, the parking was $77 a night, which is extremely expensive.

Then after having to take all our bags such a way, there was no concierge and we had to struggle to take all the luggage to the room.

Spa facilities were small and became cramped quickly. Sauna did not work at all.

Left a very sour taste and would not recommend this hotel to anyone if you are looking for a decent / 5* star experience.

This is my go to hotel in Sydney. It is well located, clean, friendly and always reliable. On this trip, friends of mine were staying elsewhere at a far more expensive hotel and my room at the Amora was much nicer, more spacious and with a water view. Theirs cost hundreds of dollars more. I have no regrets choosing Amora and will do so again.

Overnight stay at Amora for family of 4. Excellent room, very spacious. Large bathroom, with shower and bath. Partial harbour view which was a bonus. Well located for public transport as well as a supermarket within a short 2-3 minute walk. Buffet breakfast was nice, large variety covering Asian and Western options. Would recommend and would stay again.

Really can't say anything bad. Location was fantastic. We could walk to everything -even the port to get on our cruise ship. Room very large & clean with all the amenities. View from the 22nd floor was just amazing! The staff was very friendly & helpful. The breakfast was really good with everything you could think of. Only small issues were very few channels on the TV and there was a bottle of wine on the table which we didn't know was complimentary. Putting a small note on it would have really helped. Also complimentary water would have been nice.

The location was great. It is a short walk to George Street shops, restaurants and cafes and tram stop. It’s about a 10 minute walk to Circular Quay, the cruise terminal, The Rocks and Darling Harbour restaurants. Fantastic concierge service. Easy flat undercover drop off for vehicles and reception desk. No steps. Great vehicle access from the Harbour Bridge and the M8 to the airport. Large bedroom with plenty of room for our 4 large suitcases. Large bathroom with nice bath and separate shower. Plenty of mirrors. The indoor swimming pool has a small outdoor balcony that gets afternoon sun and there are good changing rooms.

Great hotel and brilliant location for exploring Sydney. Pool and sauna area was very disappointing. Hot tub and sauna was not in operation during our visit but it was smelly and looked in need of a makeover.
The room and service was great.. I’d recommend it to anyone who wants a good place to stay for convenience to the sights of Sydney.

After a problem with a room in check in, manager Shania looked after us (thank you). A sign of good management is resolving problems. Location is excellent, bathroom is large and very clean. Breakfast is very good, a thank you to Nakita for great coffee. Bellman are very helpful, friendly, greet you with a welcome and smile. Parking is convenient.

We were extremely disappointed that when booking through Wotif that there was no information stating the pool was being renovated. We live in Sydney however I took the kids away for a night - and only found on arrival the pool was out of order.
However the food was amazing.

Breakfast was nice with a good variety. Coffee was very good which is a bonus.
I felt that the room could have done with a proper clean though…particularly the bathroom. One thing I noticed on this stay was that they no longer provide in the room the bathroom accessories like shower caps, sewing kit, cotton buds etc which is nice to have available rather than requesting the items when needed.
