Pros: Rooms were clean, daily breakfast and dinner is good, lawson’s is right beside the hotel, many restaurants nearby, staff were very sweet and helpful, Kyoto Station isn’t too far, public bath, and it’s a quieter neighborhood.

Cons: Check out is 10am but Check in is at 4pm, hotel is older with many rooms but the map isn’t clean so it’s hard finding your room at first, coin laundry machines but they were pretty dirty with dirt stuck on the sides like it hadn’t been cleaned in a while, the dryer didn’t even dry my clothes(2 pants) so it felt like a waste of money, not many amenities.

Some things to keep in mind: In case you want to do early check in, they charge more before 1pm and after 1pm they charge 30% of current room prices, same with late check out. You have to book dinner beforehand.

Clean hotel. Good location. Ok free dinner and breakfast which are miles better than most Hampton Inns (if you travel to US you know what I mean). Cleanliness would be 9 compared to Hampton Inn which would be around 6 (I am generous here). I spent about 120-150 nights in hotels world wide each year so I know a little. The only downside is the small space of the rooms. Then again, you can pay 4x or more and stay in Hilton’s or Marriott (I am top tier at both).

This hotel is great for the price. My booking came with breakfast and dinner included. The food was pretty good. Breakfast is buffet and dinner is a choice of two set menus, plus a salad bar. The room I had was ok. I know people say the rooms are small but I found it fine. A double bed, sofa, table for TV etc. the bathroom was a bit small but it was fine. The hallways leading from the lift to the rooms are open (to a certain degree) there is a central open core running up through the building which is open but in October it was fine. It might be cold in the winter. All in all I had a nice stay here and would stay here again.

Everything is a bit small, (toilet and bath together and no room to change) only 2 beds are on in room. Jo complaining. Walk distances to Kyoto station. Dinner and breakfast are including that I didn’t know.

All of the staff we encountered were great! The room and bathroom were so small it makes a cruise ship cabin seem big. We knew it would not be roomy ahead and was ok. The beds were really hard though. The bathroom has a high step and to get in the tub was extremely difficult for someone with arthritis. Dinner and breakfast were provided. We both really liked the dinner. Neither of us cared for the breakfast. They both say they end at 9:00, but the staff closes the area 30 minutes early. The area was ok. Not much around it. If you struggle with steps and a hard bed, this is not it. If that’s not an issue for you, it’s a good price! The staff truly were so kind.

It’s a great experience overall considering the rate in summer - I only paid CAD 46 for a one night stay. Clean room and friendly staff along with free breakfast as well as dinner.

The only thing is that it’s a bit far from Kyoto station so location wise, the universal hotels in other Japanese cities (Hiroshima, Okayama, etc) provide a better experience.

5 or so min walk to Kujo metro station. Lawson store right next to hotel. Breakfast and dinner included in stay, which we weren’t aware of. Check in was slow and English was limited. Breakfast was ok for the convenience, dinner we only had once during our stay as obviously much better food in Kyoto! Room and bathroom very small and dated decor. No wardrobe or space to put your luggage so was difficult with our 5 night stay. Plenty of washing machines and tumble dryers. Would recommend only for a 1/2 night stay and you are price sensitive.

Rooms are very small but the facilities makeup for that. You get breakfast included in the price which is a very good deal for the price. There is a Lawson right near the entrance for quick shopping. Kyoto station is a good 20 minutes walk.

Fully booked and great value for the price charged. Not a 5 star hotel but for the price it is extremely great. Free breakfast and dinner has tiny portions but great flavours. Introduced me to my new favourite condiments. I am a healthy eater so salad and vegetables were all you can eat and pleantiful. The only thing I did not like was all vegetables were cold but I simply soaked them in hot water I. The bowl and drained it a few times. Seating is tight but works. If you are picky you will complain about something but the same can be said no matter where you stay. Our bathroom was a bit uriny smelling but the Japanese toilet seat was great. Rooms in Japan are tight and small and this is no exception. These Japanese rooms make cruise ship rooms feel big. Anyway I would recommend this place and would stay again

ひとり旅で利用しました。
地下鉄駅から7分くらい？
バス停目の前ですが1時間に2本でした。
二食付き安価で予約でき
早くから食べれる朝食は良かったです。
夕食は定食かカレーで質素な感じです。
いつも歩き回って食べ損ねてしまう私にはにはよかったです。
もし京都旅行で行きたい飲食店があればそちらを優先した方が良いかもしれません。
学食のように長くテーブルを配置していて間隔が狭くとても出入りがしずらかったです。
せめて壁側からも通れるようにしてほしいです。
しかしながら大浴場も気持ちよいですし大満足です。
スタッフの方々もよいのでひとり旅の時には候補とさせて頂きます。

ホテルの立地は京都駅からも一駅で観光にも便利でした。必要最低限の設備は揃っていて快適に過ごしました。難を言えば部屋のユニットバスが狭く入り口に段差があり、出入りに手間取るぐらいですかね。でも、それを十分補う価格の安さで満足でした。朝食も夕食もついて、ついついホテルに早く帰ってきてしまうw。夕飯でお腹いっぱいになり、昼間歩いた疲れからを大浴場でゆっくり足を伸ばして癒やし、夜更かし等もせず寝てしまいました。規則正しい生活が送れますw。宅急便の発送等もできて便利でした。

部屋はとても清潔な感じで良かったです。ただ電気のカギを指して点灯ですがカギを差し込んでも浮いてきて、中々点灯できませんでした。食事は無料でしたので企業努力を感じました。朝食は時間を間違えて8時半近くに行ったら余り残ってなく「終わりです！」と言われました。外国の方が閉めてあるのをくぐつてジュ－スを入れていましたが担当の男の方が見ていましたが何も言われませんでした。それを見ていてお茶がないのでせめて白湯をもらおうとしたら女性の方に言われました。残念でした。

Ótimo hotel, da para ir a pé da estação onde chegam e partem os Shinkansen de Kyoto, tem estação de metrô próximo, ponto de ônibus tem uma loja de conveniência do lado, quarto grande para os padrões japoneses, café da manhã grátis mas é um café típico oriental então não espere coisas típicas do ocidente como bolos, ovos mexidos e bacon. Me hospedaria novamente.

何度も利用させてもらっています。
ホテルと言うよりマンションの様な造り。
寝泊まりするにはコスパ良く便利です。

今までは1人で利用でしたが、今回は初めて2人でそして駐車場も利用しました。
ひとりで使っていた同じ部屋に2人なので、狭さは否めませんが、コスパが良いので○。
駐車場が敷地内にあるので便利ですが、これだけは他に比べて高いと思います。それでも総合的には良いかと。
部屋のユニットバスは狭いけど、大浴場が気持ちいいです。　ホテルから見た朝日がとても美しかったです。

朝食は豪華ではないけど十分。
夕飯は日替わりかカレーの2種類の定食とドリンクバー付き。
館内の自動販売機や、同じ建物内のローソンで買った物を持ち込んでOKなので、ビールとワインを一緒に頂きました。

ただひとつ、朝食を終わって食器を下げた時に女性スタッフに「ご馳走様でした！」と声をかけたのですが無視されて気分が悪かったです。
今まではそんな事はなかったので、これだけは残念でした。　他には問題ありません。
また、利用させて頂きます。

夕食、朝食はまあまあの味ではないでしょうか。サラダバーとドリンクバーがあってうれしかった。グルメでない私にとって満足でした。
ただ、ガウン風のナイトウエアとベッドカバーの使い込まれ感は潔癖な人にはつらいです。値段重視の人なら良いホテルです。

この金額で２食付きは、驚異である。お風呂は、部屋にもあるが、大浴場もあり、のびのびと入れる。アクセスも地下鉄南北線九条駅から７~８分であり、京都市内のどこに行くのにも便利である。
長期滞在しても大変リーズナブルなホテルであり、コインランドリーもある。
唯一、貸出用のアイロンがなく、しわくちゃのワイシャツのままで大変困った点ぐらいである。

旅行カバンを預かってくれて助かります。ただチェックイン前は、番号札をつけてフロント奥に大切に預かってくれますが、チェックアウト後は、フロントの外側に放置、という管理されない状態で無責任対応です。
朝食は、無料なので節約したい人には、おすすめですが、食べることが好きで美味しく食べたい人は、外で食べるほうが満足すると思います。

布団のシーツはすぐに外れて、布団の汚れと匂いがした。
お風呂の湯船も、何か浮いていて、
気持ちが悪かった。
朝の朝食も、無料なので長蛇の列。仕方ないにしても、料理もあまり食べるおかずがなかった。チェックインも、普通は、時間が来るまでに、引換券をもらい、荷物を預かってもらうが、そこに置いてと言われ、誰か持っていってもわからない状態。
とにかく、もう泊まらないです。

この価格で１泊２食付きは、大変リーズナブル、地下鉄南北線の九条駅からも徒歩１０分以内であり、京都市内にどこに行くのも大変便利な立地である。コンビニも隣接しており、便利である。烏丸通にあるが、駅北と比べ嘘のように静かである。但し、しわくちゃになった上着などをアイロンを借りようとしたが、貸出用アイロンがないのが唯一の欠点である。

1人旅で利用。アメニティも必要な分だけフロントで取る仕組みで、タオルも最小限と無駄のないサービスがちょうど良い。ただ、テレビのリモコンと利用手引の表面がベタベタしていて(おそらく前客の汚れ)掃除の雑さが残念だった。読書灯もなく部屋の照明はカギの差し込みでオンオフにするため微調整ができず明るすぎて落ち着かない。朝食はシンプルで良かったが、オレンジジュースが果糖タイプで残してしまった。駐車場が近くにあるのか車の出入りのブザー音が朝から響いてうるさかった。全体的にはコスパよく低料金なりの接客対応や設備の悪さなどなく、宿に多くを求めない人には適していると思う。
