We had a perfect stay at the Met hotel. The rooms were spotless with great amenities, and the staff were lovely and very helpful. It is a bit far out from the city centre, but we actually really enjoyed getting the tram or the metro into the centre each morning - there's a station very close to the hotel. If we come back to Amsterdam we will definitely be returning here :)

I had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience at this hotel, and I strongly advise others to avoid it.

Housekeeping broke the door in my room and initially blamed me for the damage. However, there was clear video evidence showing that the housekeeper caused the damage themselves. Despite this, the situation was handled poorly and without any accountability.

The manager on site was also very unprofessional and rude. He repeatedly complained about having to be there from 7pm to midnigh on a sunday? My problem? I dont think so which is completely inappropriate behaviour when dealing with guests. His attitude made an already stressful situation much worse.

I was also wrongly accused of smoking in the room due to ash found on the side, which was not mine. Making accusations without proper investigation is unacceptable and unprofessional

To make matters worse, the air conditioning did not work in any of the rooms. Even though the manager insisted it was working, it clearly was not, which made the stay very uncomfortable.

Overall, this was a terrible experience caused by poor staff conduct, false accusations, and lack of basic room functionality. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and suggest avoiding it at all costs.

Clean and beautiful room, loved the layout. Great for solo travelers, especially female. The staff was very helpful and kind. Would highly recommend this hotel. One train stop from the airport and nice bus ride to Centraal Station.

We stayed in rm 6, a windowless family room. Room was spacious, clean with 2 showers and a toilet. Beds were in centre of romm spit with guge headboard. Tvs on each side of wall . Breakfast selection was good with cooked items, chesses/ham and cereals.

Hotel is modern and great pizzas are avaliable at night. Hotel is about an 8 min walk to Lelyan station wher yiu can get train to airport, metro and trams. Tram take about 20 mins to Centraal station . Its inly a 6 min train ride from the airport.
I would highly reccomend thia hotel and would definately stay there again

We loved the hotel and modern facilities --autolights and the central light consoles etc --it was clean and comfortable --but found all the electronic check-in and check-out a bit impersonal !
Also the area around the hotel was not very clean and felt unsafe --the little lake was unkempt and could be very pretty and a desireable spot if the hotel could contribute to its upkeep(I know it is public ).

The hotel is close to multiple public transportation options, well decorated, clean, very good breakfast, super comfortable bed and bedding. But the highlight was definitely the staff. Every single one of them was so nice and helpful. Especially Mr. Dexter (? Or something similar).It was very nice to just sit at the hotel bar after walking all day and just chat with the staff. The hotel was comfortable and had great amenities in it. It was a bit far from restaurants, which meant we had to bike or use train. The bathroom was very open, and unfortunately there was no way to control the automatic light, which meant it turned on at night. The bike rentals were an excellent way to immerse ourselves in the bike culture in Amsterdam. Overall, great hospitality, cleanliness and appeal. The quirks were minor and didn't affect our stay too much.

I had a great stay at the Met Hotel Amsterdam! The location was super convenient—it’s not right in the busy downtown, but really easy to get around with trams, metro, trains, and buses nearby. It’s close to Postjesweg and Lelylaan Station, which is a big hub, so getting to the airport was just one stop away. It was also easy to reach Amsterdam Centraal.

The hotel was very clean, and the staff were amazing! So friendly, helpful, and always willing to go the extra mile. They really made the stay even better. I’d definitely recommend this place to family and friends.

Hotel was beautiful and trendy. Spotless clean. Corridor itself had beautiful aroma. Great variety of breakfast including all meat options being halal. Loved the complementary iced water with lemon and mint. Very helpful and welcoming staff - always ready to help and made great recommendations. This was true for all staff, but in particular we wanted to thank Abdulqadir who also advised on local restaurants and the nearest mosque. The hotel was nicely placed - Lelylaan is the nearest tram station and train station linking it v easily to city centre and airport. (Nice canalside walk right up to Lelylaan station, and more well lit street walking opitions when walking at night). Enjoyed runs around the lake. We hired a bike from local shop, but hotel offered hire service and I bet the quality of bike would have been better than what I had from the local shop.

The staff would make a ton of noise all the coffee makers sit on wood countertops and make the loudest buzzing noises. You can hear them going off in every room couldn’t sleep very upsetting.

This is a very beautiful and ultra modern hotel. We loved the ambience and all. The only hitch is that 3 people can't share a room and it was disturbing since we got 2 rooms for us and our kids. They didn't have a rollaway bed or sofa bed. In general, it's a nice place with pleasant people.

The hotel is very nice, modern, minimal aesthetic. Quiet area, right by a station which is a 10 - 15 minute train to Centraal. Staff are friendly, 24/7 pizza available. I ordered and they forgot but after reminding them they apologised profusely, cooked it quickly and delivered and said it would be free of charge because of the mess up which is greatly appreciated. Would definitely stay here again if I ever find myself planning a trip to Amsterdam and would also recommend to friends
