The hotel is stunning — spacious, modern rooms, great bars and restaurants, and a fantastic pool area. However, there are a few drawbacks: there’s no beach access (areal photos are misleading), and frequent corporate events with loud music often go on until midnight, which can spoil the atmosphere. The breakfast buffet is extensive, but the quality doesn’t fully match a true 5-star standard. Overall, an impressive place, just not ideal if you’re after quiet relaxation.

- Check-in experience was slow but reception staff apologetic and we received a welcome drink, which was a nice touch.
- Rooms are well appointed, but because of tiled floors and thin walls/ceilings you can hear scraping of furniture by guests late at night and by cleaners early mornings. The road behind the hotel where our room was facing was noisy at night, with drivers revving and speeding - maybe install speed bumps to discourage this?
- Cleaners chatting loudly and shouting instructions to each other in the corridor and neighbouring rooms from 8 a.m. (during a weekend break, this is not ideal...)
- Pool areas very nice, clean and a good number of sunbeds with umbrellas and efficient towel service.
- Breakfast buffet good, with a good selection of hot and cold food, cheeses, fruits, juices and decent coffee. A shame it didn't extend slightly later at weekends. Dinner buffet had an excellent salad bar but was overall less impressive, with a limited number of vegetarian mains and overcooked seafood and meat dishes (my guess is much of the cooking was done from frozen given the texture). It was also a shame that \"Botanic\" didn't offer any vegetarian main courses, otherwise we would probably have tried that too. That said, the \"Bali\" restaurant was again excellent and well worth a visit.
- Check out after 11 a.m. (a little early given check in is from 3 p.m.) not possible due to the arrival of a large group, but we were able to store luggage and use the pool facilities.

I can't say that this hotel is bad, but several moments ruined good impression, mostly about the service (or lack of normal service).
As an example, in the room for 3 people we found only 2 glasses and 1 vanity kit, and bed for 1 person was without normal size pillow. We requested extra glass and pillow from reception, it didn't help.
Finally, in the last evening, we tried to boil water for the cup of tea in the kettle (provided by hotel) in our room. As a result, water and chemical foam (it looked like foam from some washing detergent) came out of kettle (it was properly closed BTW), spilled on the table and scared us. When we came to reception to complain about it, receptionist Mir didn't even said that he is sorry about this situation - he started to ask questions like 'what did you put in the kettle', being extremely rude.
This situation and the fact, that other receptionist didn't warn my friends before they left the hotel, that the day they were leaving, the road in front of hotel is completely blocked by the market and the bus have no chance to pick them up (even though they discussed that my friends plan to take the bus next morning).
I don't recommend to stay in this hotel, the service there doesn't meet any expectations for 5 starts hotel (or good hotel in general)

Big hotel, not sure it's a 5 star, but it was ok. Room's are nicely decorated but missing basic things like a hook to hang up your towel. Staff service is mixed, some really good, some not the level a 5 star hotel should be. Lots of families with young children.

Our experience was good overall, with some things being very good and others being a disappointment. Almost every time we attempted to call reception from our room we could not get through. The adult only pool regularly had children swimming in it, and it was difficult to find sun beds as people would leave their towels from early in the morning. The gym had some pro workout equipment, but only very light free weights available which were locked in a cupboard. The things we enjoyed the most were the restaurants (including the buffets), the roof top pool (although this was an additional charge), the spa, the rooms, some of the areas in the hotel which look lovely, easy access to car park, and some of the staff members who were helpful. The hotel is very big, and depending on where your room is, a lot of walking may be required to get to the lifts or reception. In some ways this felt more like a 4 star than a 5 star. Overall we had a pleasant stay, but there are areas that the hotel could improve in.

Had a wonderful time- enjoyed all the pools especially the Bamboo rooftop. Activities and shows were fun, buffet was so good and loved the option to eat at Botanic for breakfasts and a dinner with upgrade. Staff were always friendly. Highly recommended!

Sadly very disappointed with so called five star hotel. On the 1st day we arrived. No one to help with luggage to take into our room. Or when you departure Reception staff said if we stayed more then 4 days then we can book to eat at any other restaurant in the hotel. I booked half board so thinking, meal would be included. But sadly not as we found out when we got into the restaurant.
1st day at breakfast i sad i had food allergies and 3 of us are vegetarian.
There was nothing labelled. The all the salad didn’t have sperate spoons so people using same for meat as well as salad. I was offer somethings from the kitchen. Having mentioned all these things only few had lables on the food but not all. I thought at least they are trying. But day 3 gone back to no labells. I we staying for 6 nights. It got worse as days went on. Only if you lucky have 2 vegetarian dishs. i have allergies so just plain pasta and plain veg and salad for me. They offered to make something me. To my suprise i got boiled chickpeas and boiled veg. And 1 night vegan hamburger which was not cooked properly. Veg given was luck warm. After talking to the manager nothing changed. She must have passed massage on but the kitchen staff to willing to listen. Today i asked for vegetarian nachos,and i got
I would not recommend this hotel for people who are vegen, vegetarian or eat halal. The staff use the same knife to cut everything.

I would absolutely recommend this hotel to my friends and family, just the smell in the giant entrance/lobby area itself was enough, smells lovely 24/7 and its extremely clean with refreshments provided! We got a glass of cava on arrival, and on another day when it was their 3rd birthday they left cakes and drinks for all the guests. They also had juice and water and sweets for guests too. Lots of staff on the check in desk. There is so many pools, including a roof top one which was unreal and had a live singer and saxophonist! Felt so luxurious! The drinks are amazing, especially the frozen strawberry daiquiri!
There are a few restaurants to choose from too, really nice and fancy but not over priced, just fairly priced. The gardening is gorgeous all around, so aesthetically pleasing everywhere you look. The breakfast was fantastic, there is so many stations with everything to choose from and its constantly topped up, like they just dont run low on anything, even at the end, was amazed by it, never experienced anything like it. Rooms are soundproof and clean. Cleaners came every day to change the towels and bedding

We started our holiday at a hotel a few meters down the road and that hotel was a disaster. Atzavara saved our holiday. The room was spotless and the facilities were excellent. My little girl (8) loved the food, pool and kids club activities. The staff were absolutely amazing and so friendly.
If I were to go to Santa Susanna again I would definitely be back at this hotel.

Overall it was good, but didn't feel like 5-stars. Acoustic is bad ( heard high hills noises from the corridor and the upper floor, cleaning team starting moving furniture early in the morning). No beverages at dinner ( even water), spa was overpriced for what you get, no netflix etc. Adding these little extra features will help feeling more welcome. We felt rushed by the staff during the meals and the cleaning team entered our room before 10 am while we were there.

My second time here, really love the hotel. The area is ok, lots to do and see. My only issue was that I asked reception to book me a table at a local restaurant and it wasn’t done so I didn’t manage to eat where I wanted to that night. Other than that the stay was perfect!

Hands down the best thing about this hotel is the breakfast. Funnily enough, a friend who had stayed here a few years remembered this when I said I had made the booking, and boy was he not wrong. The staff are also incredibly helpful and friendly, and the rooms spacious, modern, and comfortable. We had a sea view room and the view from the balcony was indeed stunning. Lots of great entertainment at the bar downstairs, and we caught a couple of very cool acts on two different nights. Onsite facilities like the tennis courts, the (huge) gym, and the yoga classes are an added bonus. It's absolutely perfect for a wellness getaway. The city centre is about a 20-minute bus ride away, and the bus stops are just outside the property perimeter. The little town that's sort of adjacent is a little more rundown, but the seaside boardwalk probably gets very busy during summer. We went off-season and it was pretty calm, though we found one excellent fish restaurant not too far away.

The room was really nice, with a balcony that gave a view to the sea and pool. Really nice.
The atmosphere of the hotel is very modern and artistic. It has many restaurants with different themes and options for each one. The pool is really nice, seems to be on basis of salty water (at least that is what i felt)
Other then that, everything is quite expansive - but that is expected for this kind of a hotel.
For the room i would give 4, for the sole reason that the toilet - it was just not comfortable at all.
The bad is that again, an expansive 5 star hotel, and they charge extra money for parking and spa entrance (which you need to reserve in advance to enter)
Generally i would not recommend this place, just because there is nothing interesting around it, this hotel seems to be the most interesting thing there is to do in this town.
But if you have to go somewhere in this town, that i thing this hotel os the best option, although quite expansive one

Spacious and comfortable rooms. Dining onsite which is good because there isn’t much outside of the hotel. My family did walk to a grocery store which was about 15 mins away a few times. The pool area is amazing. Breakfast has a nice selection and was inclusive. What put me off was they refused to give me a box because I wasn’t “leaving for a flight”.. I ended up skipping breakfast that day. They did have laundry services there which I used without issue but at first when I tried to get someone to pick up my clothes and the sheet I filled out for it they told me I had to use the app. The app is very poorly designed so after struggling 1/2 an hour I just dropped it off at the front desk. I don’t understand why they wouldn’t just take someone’s order from their room. Anyways all in all it was a good stay just a few incidences which needed work.

The property is gorgeous. We had a suite that included a private terrace and pool which was stunning. The main pool area is beautiful as well. The breakfast buffet has a wide assortment. The minor negatives are; the hallways are very dark at night and the hallway carpets were really dirty.

For a supposedly 5 star experience this Hotel fell short on many levels. Check in total chaos - no system - in fact I stood for at least 10 minutes while staff stared at computer screens no acknowledgement of my presence - this was at 7pm to then discover my room was not ready. “Will be ready within the hour” luggage left in luggage room with a guy somewhat dour in demeanour and that was the start of a downhill experience.
Returned to check in to find out exactly when the room would be ready (since apparently check in opens at 3pm..)
Room now mysteriously available - apart from being new I was surprised there were no USB ports to charge phone and still relying on adaptors and plugs.
Shower good but water escaped as door seal inadequate -
Lots noise corridor outside.
Comfy bed.
Complimentary bottle water.
Let’s go eat-
Downstairs in the buffet restaurant chaos again-
There’s a queue at the reception desk and a rather person less individual checking room cards- she neither says hello good evening or any other form of greeting “room” she shouts and types into her computer -
Now have to wait to go to a table - queue no 2
Next arrives a rather tired looking lady wearing a headset. She doesn’t say hello either and whisks me off to a table but I tell her I would like to eat outside - I am sure she rolled her eyes in displeasure and quickly cleared a table and off she went - no bon appetite here - she’s worth watching for her interaction with other guests -

New hotel, still smells of painting. The rooms are nice but nothing more. Toilets in the pool were horribly dirty and the food of the dinner buffet was horrible. Seems they are not ready to serve guests yet. Definitely not worth the super high price I paid for 2 nights (about 900€)

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour à l’Atzavara Hotel & Spa ! L’établissement est superbe, moderne et très bien entretenu. Le personnel est accueillant, souriant et toujours disponible pour aider.
Les chambres sont spacieuses, confortables et bien équipées, avec une literie de grande qualité. Le petit-déjeuner est excellent : beaucoup de choix et des produits frais.
Les piscines et le spa sont magnifiques, parfaits pour se détendre. L’hôtel est aussi idéalement situé, à deux pas de la plage et proche des commerces.
Un vrai coup de cœur — nous reviendrons sans hésiter !

Hotel und Zimmer sind sehr schön. Lage des Zimmers eher ungünstig wenn eine Großveranstaltung im Hinterland ist und man nachts die Fenster geöffnet haben möchte. Wir hatten eine Woche lang Oktoberfestbeschallung bis spät in die Nacht.

Let's start with the cons.

The bathroom is open plan - meaning that the sinks are not private. Nor is the bath. And the toilet itself offers very little privacy. You have to ask your partner to put in their earplugs when you go to the toilet. Also no small sink in toilet to wash hands. You have to come out to wash down in the open.
In my experience, no matter how long you have known your partner - and no matter how much in love you may be - you do not want them to hear your noises on the toilet. You still want some privacy when performing in the bathroom.

If you book full board which means breakfast and evening buffet, you will not get any water
(not even tap water) with your meal unless you pay for it. All drinks have to be paid for. They don't even provide coffee.
At breakfast, you get everything without extra charge.

They hold corporate events which means some areas - like the bars and pools - get closed for the other guests. And these events can be noisy.

Everything else is perfect.

Great staff, super clean place, great rooms if you pick Junior suite and a decent choice at breakfast.

Overall I give it 7/10

We verbleven een week in Atzavara en in het algemeen hebben we er een mooie tijd gehad. Het hotel is heel stijlvol en de kamers zijn ruim. Ze werden elke dag grondig onderhouden door de housekeeping, wat we echt wisten te waarderen. Fijn ook dat er een combinatie van bad en douche is, want thuis hebben we geen bad.

Het hotel heeft veel bars en gezellige plekken om iets te drinken. Soms sloten die echter vroeger dan aangekondigd of bleken ze onverwacht privé, waardoor je plots alleen nog in één bar terechtkon. Daar waren dan soms enkel natte stoelen beschikbaar of stond de muziek heel luid binnen.

Qua personeel hadden we wisselende ervaringen: sommige medewerkers waren heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam, anderen straalden eerder uit dat ze hier liever niet stonden.

De zwembaden en ligplekken zijn een groot pluspunt: heel veel ruimte en geen gevecht om een bedje te vinden. Wel waren de meeste zwembaden behoorlijk koud; voor een vijfsterrenhotel zou lichte verwarming welkom zijn. Pas later ontdekten we dat er toch één warmer zwembad bestaat, maar dit staat nergens vermeld en is bovendien een pak kleiner. Begrijpelijk dat het daardoor rustiger blijft, maar het zou fijn zijn als alle zwembaden die aangename temperatuur hadden. De redders aan het zwembad zijn bovendien erg streng en er mag geen muziek gespeeld worden, wat de sfeer soms wat minder maakt.

Fantastisk hotel til glutenallergikere!

Vi havde et rigtig dejligt ophold på Atzavara Hotel i Santa Susanna. Værelset var rummeligt og komfortabelt, og vi følte os hurtigt hjemme. Hotellets buffet fortjener virkelig at blive fremhævet – det er uden tvivl den bedste, vi nogensinde har oplevet. Udvalget var stort, kvaliteten af maden var i topklasse, og de var samtidig utroligt gode til allergener. I vores tilfælde med glutenallergi var det en kæmpe lettelse, at alle retter var tydeligt mærket med små skilte, så det var nemt og trygt at finde rundt.

Poolområdet var også en stor fornøjelse, især den særskilte “adult-only” pool, hvor stemningen var rolig og afslappende. Det gav et ekstra pift af luksus til oplevelsen.

Det eneste store minus var, at der var tilladt at ryge på alle udeområder. Mange gæster benyttede sig af det, og derfor var der desværre ofte en gennemtrængende lugt af røg, som ødelagde den ellers skønne atmosfære.

Alt i alt et hotel med meget høj standard, hvor især maden, de gode forhold for allergikere og faciliteterne gør det til et besøg værd – men man skal være forberedt på, at cigaretrøg kan være en gennemgående del af oplevelsen.

Super hôtel ! Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans un cadre calme et reposant. Le buffet du petit-déjeuner ainsi que du dîner sont bien garni et varié, parfait pour bien commencer la journée. L’emplacement est idéal : les alentours sont agréables et la plage, accessible facilement, est tout aussi plaisante en journée qu’en soirée. Gros plus : la piscine réservée aux adultes, qui permet de profiter pleinement de moments de détente. Un séjour réussi, que nous recommandons vivement !

Vi havde dog nogle udfordringer ift kommunikation med receptionen.. og måske lidt 'storcenter' agtig følelse (ikke vores yndlings 5* hotel, mangler lidt på finish/service og hygge). Flott hotell for barnefamilier. Supert basseng område, de fineste på Santa Susanna. Litt lite å ta seg til på kvelden utenfor hotellet. Nydelig og ren strand rett utenfor.

De fineste hotellet i området. Flotte restauranter i hotellet og rett utenfor. Ingen restauranter å anbefale utenfor hotellet som er synd. Er det eneste som trekker ned opplevelsen. Fine store bassenger. Nydelig strand rett nedenfor.

Lækkert hotel

Jeg er meget tilfreds med vores ophold på Atzavara Hotel. Der var meget rent og fik housekeeping hver dag. Dog synes jeg, at det var lidt svært at få fat i personalet når man manglede dem, især på resturanterne.

se changer les idées dans un peu de luxe.

L’hôtel est propre,le personnel charmant et serviable.Par contre,dans ma chambre,j’ai vu à deux reprises,un « insecte »qui se trouve dans les endroits humides,et qu’on appelle communément « poisson d’argent « Sinon,rien à dire,j’y retournerai avec beaucoup de plaisir

Das Zimmer Junior Suite war geräumig mit Meerblick sehr schön und sehr sauber, die Pools sind sehr schön, die Parkmöglichkeit beim Hotel ist sehr gut. Der Strand ist in 5 Minuten erreichbar. Das Frühstücksbuffet sehr reichhaltig ebenso das Abendbuffet. An manchen Tagen war etwas mehr Betrieb am Buffet war aber okay. Wir haben ein Upgrade erhalten, da es bereits unser 2.ter Aufenthalt im Atzavara Hotel war. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

El hotel es una maravilla. La habitacion, el personal, las zonas comunes. Las piscinas de niños con el agua templada un top. Lástima que ahora cobren [y no poco) por las balinesas.

Très agréablement surpris de cet hôtel. Nous avons séjourné ici en demi-pension dans le penthouse. Tout était bien: nourriture tres variée et de qualitée. Chambre et prestations de l’hôtel moderne et de qualité.
Nombreux rangements dans la chambre.
Seul petit bémol, la literie n’était pas si confortable, que ça, comparé à ceux du Sofitel.

Sauberes Schönes Hotel. Nah zum Strand und viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Viele saubere Pools und generell sehr schön gestaltet. Alles im allem ein gutes Hotel was definitiv empfehlenswert ist.

Das Personal ist mega langsam, der Kunde steht nicht ganz im Fokus.
Bei der Ankunft haben wir in der Schlange für Check-In fast 40 Minuten gewartet, was nach 1.800 km eine Herausforderung ist.

Alles wirklich tip top, super Anlage.
Alles neu und sauber. Personal sehr freundlich.
Essen ausgezeichnet. Frühstücksbufffet sehr groß, auch sehr gut, aber immer das selbe.

Das einzige was man bemängeln könnte ist das man fürs parken extra zahlen muss ind auch für den kleinen Wellnessbereich zahlt man für 1,5h EUR 20.- pro Person.
