Room was clean, and breakfast was great. Kimberly was very helpful and made sure we had a breakfast bag for our early flight on our last day. Rooftop was beautiful. Location was perfect-walking to city locations was easy and never without options for delicious food in Trastevere. I would return back there again without hesitation.

Amazing stay at Hotel Giuditta! The location is fantastic; literally a hundred great restaurants less than a stone’s throw away. Can walk to most major attractions in 20-30 minutes, but also close access to buses and trams. The staff were all very kind and welcoming. Rooms were clean and a good size. Beds were comfortable. Shower had great pressure and didn’t leak. Breakfast was exactly the perfect start to every day. Other guests were equally kind and very welcoming. Would definitely stay again.

It's pretty much what I expected: a small, modern and efficient hotel. In common with many places of it's size in Rome, there isn't a full-time staff, but our check in was handled well despite the late hour and we had no problems. Breakfast was good and housekeeping sufficient. Some reviews commented about noise, and while our window overlooked a busy square and we arrived on a Saturday night, we found the noise minimal. After that, it was non-existent.

A smart little studio apartment in a bustling part of Trastevere. The room was spotless and bed was extremely comfortable. I slept very well over the three nights I stayed.

Check in was quick and friendly (Kimberly and Lavinia who were on reception duties were very friendly and professional). They were happy to arrange an airport transfer for us which arrived in good time and moved well through the busy Rome traffic. Breakfast was served in the morning on the roof terrace and was really very good. I had eggs and bacon, fruit, yougurt, croissant, cheese, cake, coffee, water and juice. This was included in the accommodation price and was very welcome. The breakfast staff were also very friendly. The little terrace was also very nice for a quiet drink later on.

This would be a good base to explore the city and also had its own good nightlife. I’d recommend Ai Bozzi across the road, and Pizzeria ai Marmi on the next street over (absolutely packed, you may have to queue).

I was delighted with this accommodation and would happily recommend it.

The room was clean and the staff was very helpful. Overall we liked the location however the room overlooks a VERY noisy / lively piazza. Earplugs and white noise are a must. Hallway is also quite noisy with other guests coming and going. That said - we enjoyed being in Trastevere and the staff hospitality.

We absolutely loved our stay at Giudetta in Trastevere! The rooftop breakfast every morning was such a treat and a perfect way to start the day. The neighborhood was charming, full of great cafés and restaurants just steps away. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful — they arranged our taxi to the B&B, assisted with reservations, and gave us wonderful local recommendations. Communication was outstanding from start to finish. Our room was comfortable and exactly what we needed after long days of walking. The location was ideal — we were able to walk to all the major landmarks in Rome. We can’t wait to come back for our next stay!

Overall the experience was good but for the price our expectations were slightly higher. It's a unique walkup within what looks like a single building with multiple living units. The room was clean but you can hear all sounds in the hallway and above floor. We needed to turn off the fridge in the room as it make very loud sounds during the evening when all else is quiet. Service team was very attentive.

This place is amazing .
From airport you can take trenula train to Rome traverse and then walk across street to take tram to Belli and it’s literally a 3-5 minute walk to the door . Cost for transport is 9.50 euros . Not that hard with roll suitcases . The place comes alive at night and walkable to all main restaurants and nightlife . Breakfast on deck was amazing . The complimentary wine was amazing . To get to main tourists sites like Trevi fountain the tram takes u there less than 10 minutes. Seriously this area is perfect to stay if you like quiet and food .

A hidden gem!

Our overnight at this hotel was fantastic! Our room was ready early and they let us check in as soon as we arrived. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay between our cruise and flight home. It is perfectly located in Trastevere. It’s a quiet location close to everything you could want. We spent the day walking most of Rome and (if possible) the hotel felt central to both the coliseum and the Vatican!
Prior to our cruise we spent 6 nights at a different hotel in near Piazza Barberini…. I only wish we had stayed here the entire time!!

Stay Here!!! We had such a fantastic visit. The location was perfect. Right in the middle of Trastevere. Such a cute neighborhood with lots of great places to eat and things to do. It was a nice break from the chaos of the city center.
The hotel was clean, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. The complimentary breakfast on the roof top was delicious. The beds were comfy and the water pressure was amazing. It is on the second floor in an apartment building but there’s a small elevator. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful four-night stay at Giuditta and couldn’t have been happier with our experience. From the start, the staff was incredibly helpful—arranging a ride from the airport (though taking the train is also a convenient and budget-friendly option).

The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Breakfast was a real highlight, with a delicious selection of items you can choose from on a menu. We especially appreciated how accommodating they were with our 5-year-old, who has an egg allergy—they made sure he had safe and tasty options every day.

Both the hotel and breakfast hosts were warm, friendly, and always ready to help. On our checkout day, when we had trouble finding a cab to the train station, the host quickly stepped in and arranged one for us.

Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely return to Giuditta in the future!

The area is amazing! So many dining options at your door. We were able to walk to the Vatican and other tourist locations in Rome. We loved staying where the locals live. The hotel itself is basically a condo in an old building and was difficult to find at first. But once we found it, we loved it and wouldn't stay anywhere else! We felt like locals by the end of the week. Breakfasts are made to order on the roof terrace, very delicious beautiful scenery. The staff did our laundry for us mid week which was really helpful too. We loved all of the staff.

Stay in Trastevere

We only stayed one night as we were leaving the next morning. We would have loved to stay here longer. The property was lovely. The rooftop breakfast area is so pretty. The room was perfect. It checked all the boxes. This area in Trastevere is busy and active, so it’s fun to walk around and shop, eat, and take it all in.
Kimberly checked us in and she was very helpful. She even arranged our taxi to the airport the next morning.
I would definitely stay here again!

The Blindout curtains in the room were amazing! It surely is an environment friendly hotel.
The airconditioning automatically shuts off once the windows were openned.

The staff are friendly and were alot of help.

They serve a great breakfast!!! We enjoyed having them at their rooftop garden everyday.

Our second stay here at this hotel in the foodie district of Trastevere. This is the best hotel by far on our busy 3 week trip. It’s so well run, so convenient to restaurants and famous Roman sites- walkable to other districts. Breakfast served on the rooftop - I could go on and on! We love this place.

In the absolute perfect location. Staff was so helpful and extremely helpful and accommodating. Couldn’t get any channels in English for the TV and they were awesome enough to provide a chromcast so we had access to streaming apps in English. I will definitely book here again and would highly recommend to anyone wanting a locations that is close to river and in a trendy relaxed vibe This area is ideal for evening/night life that’s not in city center yet 1 block away ya cross the river and bam, your in the center of it all!!

We liked the location and the room was nice. Terrace was super cute too. The lady that checked us in was also very nice. The problem is I forgot an expensive pair of shoes in the room, and when I realized this I called and was told they weren’t there. I knew for a fact they had been left there so this means they were kept by someone/housekeeping. Really sad considering we were just at another hotel close by and could have easily come back to retrieve them.

Let me say some good things first. The location in Trastevere is superb. Lots of small shops, restaurants and sidewalk bars.
The hotel staff is very helpful and breakfast on the rooftop is a treat. Problems are mostly due to the age of the building. The hotel is four flights of stairs up. There is a tiny, slow elevator. Once inside the hotel space there are a multitude of floor level changes. One in our room was a constant falling threat. No one should stay here unless they are young and fit. There was also a problem opening the door from the street which kept us and our luggage outside until a resident opened the door to get out. The owner says he will correct this.

Though they did try to accommodate us by letting us request an earlier time. Loved the staff and ability to make an espresso anytime at our convenience. They didn’t even have the shower gel refilled in the shower and I had to call them and wait for 2 hours before someone responded and came to refill it.

This property was amazing! Great high-tech amenities like double blackout curtains in the room where a huge plus for us. The rooftop terrace was stunning at sunset and a wonderful start to the day for breakfast (even has rainy/cold weather protection). The staff were amazing and arranged an early morning airport transfer for us, which was such a relief. We also had a later than anticipated check that was made so easy by the thorough communication from the staff here.

The location in Trastevere couldn't be beat, and it was a short walk to the bridges that take you into main Rome. I will say, that as travelers who packed a ton of Rome into only 3 days, the location was a bit far out from the main sights like Vatican City (45 minute walk) and the Trevi Fountain (30 minute walk). But! It was amazing to have so many dining options at night to crawl to after so much walking lol. So just know that :)

Also, HUGE plus having a small elevator in the building to shuttle our luggage up! And all of the little convenience products like the shower cap and small sponge were a massive help on the last leg of our trip :)
