We had a very difficult time checking in. We did not receive the check in codes via text. When we arrived we had no idea what to do. The emergency number on the answering service is said so quickly it took 3 of us 12 times to listen to it and get it correct. We were so lucky another Air bnb owner was generous enough to help us.

Just what we needed! Incredible mattress.

We stayed as part of our honeymoon. They were really nice, gave very clear instructions in the event we arrived after check-in closed, but we made it in time to be greeted by wonderful reception staff.

He took the extra time to give us a breakdown of the sites near the hotel, some of the best walking routes to see them and overall just really nice.

The room was nice, exactly how you expect from the pictures. It’s a small boutique place with only a few rooms but they’re just what you need as respite from being a manic tourist in the city outside.

Also need to say that the bed was so comfortable!! We slept better in that bed than the one we have at home and was the best one out of the 5 hotels we stayed in on our quick tour of Italy.

Overall would recommend if you’re wanting a nicely situated hotel to see all the big sites of Rome.

An absolute Jewel!

Absolute perfection! If you want a quiet location off the beaten path that is clean, charming and hospitable, this is the ideal location. Walking distance to all sites but far enough away from the crowds. Rooms are pristine, beds are wildly comfortable and full bath sheets that are unheard of in the states! The corner restaurant, Mimi and Cocco’s, was the perfect location to end the day. Ask for Rocco - you won’t be disappointed. Lastly, The staff at the hotel was so accommodating and responsive! Nicola, Lorenzo and Massimo were just lovely. I can’t say enough about this special spot. It will be our place to stay when we return to this wonderful city!❤️

Office is inly open from 0800-1230. They did a great job of communicating days prior to check in with clear instructions. Room was spacious, had little balcony. Plenty of little seating options within room. Bathroom shower was delightful with many water pressure options.

LOCATION! it’s amazing. Best of trastevere at a walking distance too, pantheon, colosseum, trevi fountain and all the things are walkable. It was perfect. The room was clean, ac worked perfectly, staff was so friendly. They always had breakfast ready for us and cappuccinos are amazing too. We will be back. Easy access to our room. The only thing I think we were confused on was the room we got compared to the pics. It looked like it had a second section separating the bed to another are of the room with a small seating area, we noticed our first night but it didn’t bother us. Just be mindful and double check the room you get/ otherwise this place is perfect

My wife and I stayed in Rome for our wedding anniversary during August 2024. We had a great stay at JB Relais Luxury. The room was spacious as well as the bathroom. The location was convenient to most attractions in center of Rome by foot and it was also close to a number of bus lines, making transportation easy. But above all, the staff were very attentive to our needs and sought to make our stay in Rome memorable. Nicola made us feel very welcome, always had a smile, good recommendations for our stay and would make sure we had breakfast even on the days we left earlier than the regular serving time. We lived the property and the location. Everything worked great and was very clean and comfortable. But we did not like the service or lack there of. First, they only clean the room before 11 am, being jet lagged and on vacation, we wanted to sleep in. Therefore couldn’t have our room cleaned once. Secondly, I paid city tax the second day we were there in cash. As we were checking out, turns out they had no record of it. They were nice about it and took our word for it, but still. Third, I ordered an airport car service, hotel offers at the same time that I paid city tax. On the day of our departure, there was no car waiting and no one seems to know or care. Knowing all of this, we would still stay here again, just plan accordingly and ask for receipts for everything.

The room and bathroom were large, very spacious and comfortable for 2 people. The shower was awesome! Property was quaint and quiet. It felt more like an airbnb than a hotel as there were very limited hours for staff between 8-12pm. If you arrived after that time or were on the go early you may never see staff, but that is ok as they are great with messaging you details, offering car service and letting you know about other things. Very pleased with this property and the experience.

I loved the location—so easy to walk and take the bus. There are only 5-6 rooms (I had #3)—LOVED my room. Big bed. Huge shower. Staff was so nice. Big set of keys to carry, but not a bother. A few steps to get to small elevator and zoom you are in your lovely room. I was so happy and would stay there again! Plenty of amenities nearby, including a small grocery across the street. I was traveling solo and felt safe walking alone at night.

From the minute we checked in, our service was great. The person that checked us in gave us a map and several spots/restaurants she recommended around the city. Our room was cleaned everyday and was the perfect place to regroup from a day of walking. The hotel is positioned in a great place within the city as we were able to walk everywhere we wanted to go. The only issue we had was finding the place when we first arrived. We were not aware the the hotel is on the 3rd floor of a building, so we were a little panicked when we could not see the hotel after being dropped off by the taxi. However, after getting help finding the place the rest of the stay was wonderful.

Lovely serviced apartments and the staff could not have been more helpful. Ideal location for walking to most attractions and right in the heart of a few food / drink districts. The room was spacious and decorated very nicely with lots of character. One thing I would say is the room could do with a lick of paint and the skirting was coming off the wall in a few places but very minor upkeep to make the apartment perfect.

Staff gets a 5/5 -They gave us an early check in time when we asked for one and they were able to have a room available 3 hours prior. We are from the states so we had to bring a universal adapter. Of course ours did not work and they provided us with one to use while we were there. Some items are only upon request so just make sure to ask and they will gladly put it in your room. The cleaning staff did an excellent job tidying our room and made sure we were stocked on our amenities.
Room 4/5- The room was a little smaller than i thought it would be but that was my fault for misreading the square foot. I knew ahead of time that we are staying in a city so i expected noise, and there was a lot of it. I brought ear plugs and im glad i did, i could not sleep without them. The room and the hallways were very echoic due to the sounds bouncing off the marble. They have a small wooden elevator , very small but i loved the vintage feel.
What provided- They have an expresso and tea machine in the room and very easy to use. Cleaning staff always had it stocked with cream, sugar as well. Hotel also provided a small bottle of lotion, shampoo and a bar of soap. There was also a hair dryer in the room but there was no iron. I asked the front desk and they put one in our room upon request. I booked this hotel through a third party hotel site and it said this hotel had a laundry facility. When i asked the front desk, he told me there were some in the area but not on the property

We had been advised that if we arrived after 3pm the staff would have gone home but instructions were sent advising us how to get into the property. Instructions were great and the room was ready for us when we arrived. The room was clean and very quiet. Adequate room for both of us and all of our luggage. The wifi worked great.

We never met any staff. Our ship was extremely late due to weather and we left before they arrived in the morning. Very frustrating experience trying to get into the hotel. No instructions provided, had to call. My phone was at 3% and we had been dropped at the wrong number. Not optimum. I’m sure it is fine under better circumstances.

This was a quaint room, very tiny! I was surprised by how small the room was compared to the pics. It was immaculately cleaned and decorated though! We had our own little private terrace and coffeemaker. They stocked us with free water, crackers, nutella, jam, and 2 turndown cookies for us. There was a safe and fridge for our use. The bathroom was awesome, updated, and clean! The shower was great! The bed firm, so good if you like that. I prefer a little more give in my mattress. Our hosts were awesome and informative! Our location was fairly central, a walkable distance to most places.

My wife and I did a tour of Italy for our honeymoon. We started with Rome and stayed at JB Relais. Everything was exceptional, Sebastian and Massimo were super helpful. We loved it so much, that we booked it again when returning to Rome for 2 days before boarding our flight home.

We stayed in this cute little hotel for 3 nights and we loved it! Our room was very simple but very nice. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious. The whole place was very clean. The staff we dealt with were so very kind and helpful, the woman (not sure of her name sorry!) gave us great recommendations! Great location! Would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a simple stay.

We loved our stay at JB Relais Luxury. The privacy and quaintness of it made us feel like locals. We got in late and were able to check ourselves in easily with the instructions they provided. The room was clean, large, and modern. The location was great, its an easy walk to any of the main sights in Rome. Plenty of good food, coffee and bars in the area too. Although we didn't opt for the in room breakfast, I loved that we had free water and coffee in our room everyday. They really did everything they could to make sure we had a great stay and a fun time in Rome. We were there in the heat of August and so our only complaint is that the AC could have been a little cooler but we were still comfortable at night. Would totally stay here again if we make it back to Rome someday.

Luxury? Nah...

There isn't much that's luxury about this \"hotel\". The Jewish Ghetto is super up and coming and has charming little streets with good restaurants, but this hotel is outside the area. There is heavy graffiti in the neighborhood and garbage in the streets. Inside isn't much better. It appears that most of the upgrades to the room were done hastily, the sink in our bathroom was crooked, and there is cocking to fill in areas in the floor where there didn't seem to be enough flooring to fill the space. Worst of all, there was black mold in the shower.

There is also a rail that starts running at about 5am and stops around midnight just outside the rooms that face the street. That ish is not quiet either. Between it and the fact that you can hear every.single.thing happening in the hallway you probably won't have the soundest sleep, so bring earplugs. Wifi is super spotty unless you are in the hallway.

Needless to say, we checked-out of our 4 night stay, two nights early because of the mold and the hotel refused to give us a refund for the nights we didn't stay. Would NOT recommend. Hotel Savoy is amazing though. You should stay there.

Great Experience in The Center of Rome

We stayed at the Jb Relais Luxury, a couple with a baby for 5 nights during our vacation in Italy.
First, the room is very clean and spacious, even when there is a baby cot in it.
The room is well equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a comfortable bed, armchairs, wardrobe, mini fridge, safe, bathrobes, hairdryer, coffee maker, kettle, air conditioner, huge HD TV and more.

The hosts, Sebastien and Massimo were very nice, helpful and welcoming and even were available to our questions on the phone.
We received daily complimentary bottles of water, coffee capsules and fresh croissants.

As for the location - We found the place very central and within reasonable walking distance to all of Rome's main sights, Such as Piazza Navona, The Pantheon, Foro Romano etc. We liked it especially since the Trastevere area, which we loved very much, was right in front of us.
In addition, there is a supermarket right in front of the place, as well as dozens of bars and restaurants nearby.

In conclusion, we highly recommend the place, we had a great experience!

Awesome location close to the old Jewish Ghetto and an easy walk to Trastevere and not far from Piazza Navona. The hosts were super sweet in this great building, and we had a great stay, though it was short. Good luck finding a better value anywhere in Rome. Great restaurant recommendations as well.
