Overall we really enjoyed our stay here, above average beds & pillows regarding comfort (softer compared to most beds we have experienced in Italy!)
Great location and we walked almost everywhere. The breakfast each morning was a nice touch but we were really disappointed they didn’t provide a vegan breakfast on our last morning as they said the place they get their vegan croissants was closed on Sundays. They didn’t provide anything else for me to eat though even though I gave them 5 months notice that I would be staying, and told them upon booking I was vegan - surely they could have organised something else for my breakfast with 5 months notice!

It was a bit tricky to find the hotel because it is right in the middle of the street and the sign is very little so just look carefully. Other than that, everything was perfect, good location, safe, quiet, very nicely done, clean, spacious room, and staff super friendly and accomodating. The only thing you should be aware is, that staff is not on property all the time, if you need anything during the night or during the daym there is no one there. You need to text them and they will reply after a few hours sometimes.

First Time Rome Travelers
The Kame Hall receptionist, Andre, was very helpful in initial communication for our stay. She went above and beyond setting up a transfer from our cruise ending at Civitavecchia to the hotel in Rome with a private driver (Mercedes) who was very professional. The price was reasonable and a better option than we investigated. Andre was ready to meet us at the hotel at the time we were to arrive. Andre spent over the top time, with a map of Rome, showing us the direction of the can't miss attractions. The boutique hotel of four rooms was perfect for the two of us. The location was PERFECT as we walked 5-7 miles daily in every direction for all of our A's & B's to visit. The daily breakfast was perfect ample selection written on a note pad the night before. The delivery of the breakfast was always on the time indicated with our food selection. The cooks, Irwin and Paulo, were friendly and went out of their way to be helpful to see our needs were met. Can not speak highly enough of the whole operation at Kame Hall. The room was large, bed comfortable, clean and the bathroom had a large sink to hand wash light cloths. Heated towel rack was a nice feature and the shower had good water pressure. There were windows in each room that allowed nice daylight and opened onto the one story above walkway. The evening and night noise was very acceptable with people around us late into the evening. Felt very safe and comfortable. The small refrig. & room safe was perfect. The A/C was great.

On the edge of the Jewish quarter, a quick walk to Travestere, the Pantheon, or Campo di Fiori makes the location of Kame Hall ideal. The staff are very helpful and pleasant.

I've stayed in Rome 3 times and this is my favorite place. Went with my wife and enjoyed a great location, very friendly staff, and very clean rooms (with a bathroom I'd happily use for the rest of my life). Only a few rooms to this place but if you're familiar with Europe, the rooms will be more than you expect.

In the heart of Rome
A wonderful place to stay. Right after I made the reservation Andra was in contact per email. She arranged for a car to pick us up at the airport. This was worth it. Made the trip to the hotel stress free. Paulo and Erwin were awesome. We had a delicious breakfast in room every morning. Loved being near all of the sights and in the heart of a Rome neighborhood. Walked everywhere. Would recommend the hotel for independent travelers who want the full Rome experience.

Quiet room in a good part of town
All in all our stay was \"ok\". The \"free\" internet was not so good. In order to use the internet we had to open the door to our room, or go out into the hallway. Breakfast was merely average. Breakfast is brought to your room and so you are basically eating in the room. I did not realize this when I booked the room or I would have chosen a different hotel. In fact, on our last day we skipped the included breakfast and went out instead. The room was exceptionally quiet. Kame Hall could install some more towel racks in the room and that would make the bathroom a little more user friendly. The hotel does not have any English language channels despite multiple channels for viewing. I will not stay there again as there is no one available for assistance later in the day or overnight. The secretary who checked us into the hotel is stationed at a different property several blocks away. After hours you are on your own.

Lovely bed & breakfast with great service!
We loved this bed and breakfast on our honeymoon! Although the lobby itself is nothing special, the room was fantastic- very spacious, nicely decorated and clean. We especially appreciated the amazing staff (especially Larry!) who, not only were very polite and welcoming, but went above and beyond to cater to our dietary needs. They bring breakfast to your room every morning and are extremely kind and accommodating in every way. The location was amazing- walking distance to a lot of restaurants and all major sites. Our only complaint was that our room (#4), although very nice and spacious (with jet bath!), did not have good internet. However, the staff warned us about this (it is apparently only an issue in that room) and we used internet in the lobby when needed.

Spacious, comfortable, welcoming room in a brilliant location - perfect walking distance from all the main sites (is, 5 mins from the pantheon). Larry, the manager is lovely and makes a nice breakfast for eating in your room. Overall, a lovely boutique hotel in a fantastic spot.

They helped arrange a taxi from the airport to the hotel and again when leaving, even walking down and waiting with us. Breakfast was huge, anything we wanted from a long list, no limits they said. It was prompt. The hotel was clean and in a pretty courtyard. Don't stay at a chain hotel with a big name for even more $. Experience this Romans B&B and you won't regret it! I would go back again. Nice Small Hotel right in the Middle of the Ghetto
Wonderful attentive staff, great location and very well furnished rooms. Room comes with Free Breakfast and staff gives you a menu the night before to determine what you want. Small Size of Hotel means quiet and perfect for couples or small families looking to get away. A few minutes walk from many restaurants and attractions.

Pleasant small centrally located hotel.
We stayed for 4 nights in this 4 room mini hotel. The rooms were modern, nice, containing all essential amenities, though during our stay the fridge and heating in the bathroom in our room showed minor problems. Our daughter's room, even larger and including a bath with Jacuzzi, was perfect. Breakfast was delivered into the room with the surprise opportunity to request some kosher cookies and cakes for those Jews who keep kosher. Staff, in particular the housekeeper, were most friendly and forthcoming. The hotel is very centrally located in a quit and safe area, at the border of the Jewish ghetto with its 2 synagogues, Jewish museum and many kosher restaurants, and within about 1/2 hr walking range of most major places of interest, e.g., Colosseum, Vatican, Villa Borghese, and Trevi fountain. The only issue is the fact that, in order to reach the rooms on the first floor, one has to climb high and rather steep stairs; this may turn out a problematic surprise for elderly/handicapped tourists arriving at night when no staff is present to assist with their luggage. Altogether a most pleasant stay which we happily recommend to other visitors of the eternal city.

Perfect location, fantastic accommodation.
We were met by very friendly, helpful staff who showed us into a very lovely room. We had everything we needed and allowed us to explore the sites of Rome and the out of the way food markets. The area was vibrant and fun. Would definitely stay at this place again. Very helpful arranging our transfers back to the airport to fly home after having spent a month tripping around Italy. All the big sites of Rome are within easy walking and if you are adventurous, go on a food tour to really taste real Italian food away from the crowds of tourists.

Great small hotel in a great location close to all the main sites in Florence. There are only 4 rooms, so you get great service from the staff (Larry is the man!). Breakfast is served in your room when you want it in the morning. Overall we had a great experience at this hotel and highly recommend it.

My husband and I could not be happier about our stay at Kame Hall. From even before we booked the hotel they were wonderful. I was worried about booking because of a late check-in but they got back to me quickly and assured me it was not a problem. They emailed us the day before our arrival with the code to enter the hotel and let us know that we could check-in officially in the morning. Upon arrival there was a key and breakfast menu waiting. It was so wonderful to pick our breakfast the night before and have it delivered promptly at the time we requested. Toni, was so friendly and helpful. He made you feel like you were staying with a friend. The rooms are very large with wonderful ambience, very romantic. We enjoyed being able to open our windows and listening to the fountain and people in the small piazza outside our window. There are many yummy restaurants right outside the door of the hotel. We had some of the best pasta right outside our door. The hotel is VERY convenient to all sights as well. Colosseum was about a 15 minute walk and the Vatican took us about 40 minutes, just to name a few. The hotel can arrange a car service to take you to the airpot which as very prompt for our early morning flight. It is also fairly easy, during the day to get to the hotel by public transit. We took a bus from the Trastevere station and it dropped us off in Piazza Venizzia across the street. I would not hesitate to stay here.

Perfectly located B&B
Loved this B&B which is located within walking distance from some of the major attractions that Rome has to offer. The room was very comfortable and I Loved the bathroom which had a great tub with water jets....nice for relaxing after a long day of sightseeing. The breakfast options were great and Larry, who is in charge of preparing it, does a great Job.

A home away from home
I honestly never write reviews but in this case I felt the need to share my wonderful experience at Kame Hall in Rome. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted in a warm and friendly manner and immediately felt comfortable there. The staff helped me with my luggage, offered me a beverage, and then proceeded to show me a map to explain the city to me. She also showed me the train and bus routes which was extremely helpful. The room was very clean and comfortable. I loved that it had an apartment feel to it rather than just a hotel room. Larry cooks a wonderful breakfast in the morning. Kame Hall truly felt like home. I have already recommended it to several of my friends. I look forward to staying there again one day!

The staff at this hotel was extremely friendly and helpful in giving tips and recommendations on what to see around the city. Larry's breakfasts were fantastic! The room was clean, comfortable and very large and the hotel's location was fantastic. We would absolutely stay here again. The only difficulty was actually finding the hotel initially. The sign is very small and it's on a very small street, so we passed by it a couple times.

Amazing Stay!
For the price, I don't know that there is a better place to stay in Rome. Very cheap comparatively, in an incredible location, beautiful rooms, and amazing service make this place a must stay. The person who takes care of all the rooms (Larry) is absolutely amazing. He makes a great breakfast in the morning, is extremely attentive to the guests needs, and has great tips for sights. All in all, an amazing place to stay and a bargain compared to other comparable places.

PERFECT!

It's a small place with only 4 rooms so it is really quiet. I loved Kame Hall and will stay there on my next trip to Rome.

Outstanding Quality!
We had an amazing stay for 2 nights (3 days) in Kame Hall during our stay in Rome. Kame Hall had the best location (5 minutes to Navona and campo di fiori; 7 minutes to Piazza Venezia, Colloseum and Pia De Corso, basically everywhere is within walking distance), we are welcomed by the owner Simon who is very nice and very very helpful. The staff is very friendly (Glenn) who prepare our breakfast (you need to tell them what you want for breakfast every morning at 08:15) and clean our room well. You definitely can't go wrong with your choice by choosing Kame Hall, we are very satisfied and highly recommended this place. The security is very high (very safe). The internet can be quite spotty in the suite and it is quite hard to find the hotel at first, but otherwise everything else is just fantantic. We are definitely going to book this place again when we go back to Rome and so should you..

Wonderful comfort in good location
A very comfortable, clean and well serviced B&B that really felt like home when we returned from each day of sight-seeing. Close to several Rome's iconic sites for tourists. We had the 'big' room, but asked to see the others, just so we knew what the rest of the B&B looked like. All are totally OK/good, and we recommend this accommodation for serious consideration. Note: in common with the majority of city-based B&Bs we've stayed at, there is a decent set of stairs from street level, so not recommended if climbing & descending steps will be an issue. We'll be back there again if/when we get back to Roma.

Magical zen experience
What a delightful surprise Kame Hotel turned out to be! Situated adjacent to the charming Fontana delle Tartarughe ( the Turtle Fountain), the location proved to be perfect for walking to the Ancient Center and exploring around Piazza Navona. The bed was so comfortable with its luxurious sheets and down pillows. We never heard street traffic during our 3-night stay and were able to nap in the afternoon. Breakfast, with choices from eggs to pastries and fruits, was prepared for us and served in our rooms. The bathroom was the largest we had seen during our 17-day Italian visit and included a stylishly modern shower, sink, toilet and bidet. For those who appreciate a bed and breakfast experience without encountering many guests, this is perfect, as there are only four rooms. The sign at the entrance to Kame Hotel is understated and it would perhaps be easier to tell the taxi driver to take you to the Turtle Fountain then walk the few yards to the actual entrance. There are many wonderful restaurants in the immediate area. We will definitely return to Kame Hall!

Great base for city exploring
Right around the corner from the main tour bus stop, everything is within easy reach - sights, restaurants, a handy supermarket and quaint little streets. Staff were excellent. Bit hidden away and small (you could easily walk straight past the entrance) but that suited us just fine! Room was lovely and cool, and hardly any road noise from outside. Overall, a great nights sleep and an excellent stay.

Charming Hotel full of friendliness
We have just come back from a 3 night stay at Kame Hall. This 4 bedroomed Hotel was perfection for us. It was clean, the bathrooms lovely and modern, the bed mattresses so comfy, working air conditioning, free wifi, and to top it off a great start to each morning with a lovely breakfast made by Larry (and yes his omelettes are wonderful, along with his scrambled egg). The location is fantastic. The furthest we walked was 25 minutes to the Vatican City, all the other attractions we went to were nearer. However if you really don't want to walk there is a bus stop at the end of the road, with buses that go almost everywhere, and a very easy bus system to use if you are tired at the end of a day sightseeing. Great lively, evening eating areas 5 minutes walk away at Campi de Fiori and Piazza Navona. We were shown 4 rooms and all the rooms are nice, just some a bit bigger than others or with better light. Vittorio was very helpful sorting tour tickets for us and arranging transport home, and when we met Simone he was very helpful too. Larry is lovely and welcomed us to Rome just as you would want to be welcomed in this beautiful city
