The staff of this property are wonderfully warm and helpful. Although they do not maintain a 24 hour desk, they made it clear that they were available by phone if needed. The staff offered me a glass of wine or other drink upon my arrival and each afternoon when I returned for a rest. The rooms are quite small and simple, but the location is fantastic. Simple breakfast items are left in the room and other snacks and drinks are in a mini fridge and are included in the price. Taxi stand is within 100 feet.

Our schedule was off kilter from the start of our stay in Rome! The only constant and thing we could count on was the Sun suite Pantheon!!!!
Every time we had an issue they helped us and made our stay fantastic!!

Convenient location with delicious dining nearby. I liked that the fridge came stocked with complimentary snacks and drinks and our shower was spacious and had a nice rain shower head. The pillows were thin but that’s ok. The staff was very friendly.

We really enjoyed our stay at Sun Suite! We had a view of some historic sites right outside our window, with cafes and restaurants on every corner! One thing I didn't make note of when I booked was it's right along the metro/rail line, so it was a tad loud at night and would vibrate the building when the train would pass, but it was manageable. Lot so storage space - shelves/closet for our things!
The receptionist was exceptional! She was so kind, allowed us to check out a tad later too. Upon arrival, she asked if we wanted wine (complimentary). She brought it to our room - it was a full bottle, with little apertifs/snacks that came with it on a beautiful tray. Also all drinks/snacks in the fridge were included/complimentary which was awesome!

Perfect place to stay in Roma

This was our best place to stay on our vacation so far. The staff was wonderful and helpful. The location is awesome. Parked our car for the whole time in free parking one block away and walked everywhere. The front desk woman actually had us follow her to her spot and gave it too us. Unbelievable service made our stay perfect

Actually they are a total scam they did not even show up for the reservation we got to their establishment and no one was at their office we rang the bell we spent 4 hours in Naples Italy waiting outside their place on Easter week and they never showed up we had to find another hotel although they did take our money but we are working on that refund I can't believe that Expedia would have someone like that on their site we paid in advance and we showed up we saw other people in the building and they said they have never seen anybody in that office and they allegedly have six units on the floor there we had to scramble at the last minute we found a place called I rooms which were amazing they set us up with two different hotels for the four days that we were stranded thanks to Sun suites

Beautifully decorated room, very spacious and very comfortable and luxurious. Location was excellent! Staff was kind and helpful. A few things regrettable was that there was a coffee machine, but no coffee, and the shower was filthy. Drain was plugged and had to turn off water every few minutes for it to drain. Walls and corners and faucets were very dirty. Pillows are very tired/flat. Spare pillows in closet didn’t have pillow cases, staff leaves after 6 so you can’t ask for more when you realize you need them. Only one roll of very flimsy toilet paper.
But the takeaway pizza shop down stairs is to die for!

Our experience at this “Luxurious” place has been a very unpleasing one
1. They advertise that the place offers onsite parking and we learned at the last minute that we had to park half mile away and carry our bags which was really difficult for us not knowing the directions and due to back conditions. We had to pay for parking
2. We arrived and realized that the room did not offer the minimum necessary as toilet paper, which they forgot and did not provide until the next day.
3. On our second night we had no electricity in our room, since the needed card for the service was not in our room. We had to solve this problem, since the staff was no onsite
3.The third night the electronic lock to open the front door was not working due to electric failure. No one from the hotel came to give us a solution. We were left outside with no documents and with just an hour to find a place to spend the night due to COVID curfew. With no passports, this was a difficult task since they are required to book any hotel. For as much as we would like to understand that things happen, it is absolutely unacceptable that nobody book a place for us and left us on the street and on our own
4. They refused to refund the night we did not sleep and offered a night in a future date which was ridiculous to say the least. Even though, we decided to spend another unplanned night in Rome just to get something back. They were booked and offered nothing in return. We were scammed by this place. DO NOT GO!!

A hotel I'll return to when the water heater is ok

The hotel is very convenient because you can take a bus from there to the Colosseum and Vatican City and take a bus back to the hotel which is very cost saving. The bus ticket is €1.50 per way. The receptionist is very friendly and you can ask her any questions. The water for shower wasn't hot and it was just warm, this is the only down side of it and it was important to us because it was winter. I did ask the receptionist and I was told there was something wrong with the heater. The interior is newly renovated. There is a corner shop that sells hot drinks and bakeries on the left of the hotel

Terrible Smell and Customer Service on Honeymoon

When we arrived in the “lobby” there was an immediate musty smell. I thought maybe it was because the building was older or maybe they had just cleaned but wouldn’t be a problem once we got to our room. Our room was located directly behind the check in desk as the entire facility seemed to be one half of a floor in a building, that someone converted into “suites”. Once we entered the room the smell was still present and it was joined by a new smell coming from the bathroom. This was a moldy mildew smell coming from the Turkish bath that looked to either have been freshly cleaned or used since it still had water on the floor. We sat for a moment to see if maybe the smell would clear but it did not so my husband and I (this was our honeymoon) left to decide what to do. The windows to our room were opened when we arrived which I believed was a nice homey touch. Since our luggage was now in the room we decided to close them. We were gone roughly 1 hour and ultimately decided to stay somewhere else. When we re-entered the room the smell was extremely worse and I now knew why the windows were open. When we returned to inform the front desk of the issue she offered to spray ”perfume“ to help with smell but otherwise there was nothing she could do. We informed her that we would not be completing our stay and we would retrieve our luggage and leave. It was obvious that the room had an odor before we arrived but management still let us check in. Unacceptable.

Good location, NOT as nice as advertised.

I was fine with the fact this was not a true hotel, but didn't like it and won't return. Elevator fits 2 people (barely), sidewalk was dug up and we had to walk across planks of wood. No windows in our room, walls were chipped, tiny bathroom. If you're here just to sleep, the location is decent.

This place is in a fantastic location. Whilst the tram is outside, it stops at later in the night so no problem with noise. The room itself was spotless. It’s very modern, but impractical, eg the bedside tables are on a small step up from the floor.
The only full length mirrors were behind these two huge sinks, which were solid to the ground. To open the curtain in the bathroom, which really looked amazing when you first see it, you literally had to step into the bath to reach the cords. The shower in another section was good, huge. The smart tv was excellent, as Rome was so hot, we would stay indoors and watch a movie, before the evening outdoors. The air con was also much appreciated.
Entry to the building is easy, and the lift great, whilst tiny.
For us, location outweighs most other things, and this had lots of transport options on hand.

Great location and nice room

We loved Sun Suite. They helped us set up transportation from the airport to Sun Suites. They greeted us when we got there. Our room had plenty of room - a king sized bed, large bathroom with a luxurious bathtub and roomy shower. We walked to everything we wanted to see. We walked across the river for dinner in Trastevere, and to many of the key sites. The front desk was very helpful in setting up tours and helping point us in the right direction.

Great Location, Great Service

Location was great! Centralized to places that we were looking to visit during our stay in Rome. Very accessible from train and bus stops. Less than a two minute walk to both. Few blocks away from the Pantheon, and walkable distance to other major landmarks. Had great, friendly service and receptionist shared places to visit, was very helpful, and knew English. Had a room with a nice view of the city, overlooking the ruins where Julius Caesar was assassinated. Would definitely recommend!

Nice hotel in great location

Sun Suite is a small, personal, hotel. The staff was very nice and helpful. We were a 5 minute walk to the Pantheon, and 15 minutes to the Colosseum. Great food was all around. The beds are a little firm, but we find that to be the case in a lot of European hotels. However, the bedding was comfortable. We enjoyed the oversized shower in the bathroom. Overall, the hotel is in a great location, and we enjoyed our room when we were in it. If we go back to Rome, I would stay here again!

Great stay!!! Nicest hotel of the trip. Extremely modern and just like the pictures online. Central location, 5 minute walk to the Pantheon. However, I'd recommend eating a block or two away from the central attractions, the restaurants around the pantheon are overpriced with poor service (4 euros for tap water, no thanks)!

Room was clean, comfortable, free expresso packs to make, large TV where you can log into your Netflix, easy check-in and check-out. When we checked in it was self-check in because the desk closes at 6 or 8 PM, so we just messaged ahead of time and the lovely staff gave us a detailed explanation of how to check in. So ideal! During check-out the staff allowed us to leave our bags for a few hours so we could go grab breakfast before training to Florence, and called us a cab when we returned!

I cannot recommend this hotel enough! We really, really enjoyed it and wish we stayed longer!

Location was ideal in central Rome to be easy walking distance to many of the sites during the day, and even closer to multiple piazzas for evening fun. The room and view were beyond expectations, and hotel staff treated us like family even though we only stayed one night! We will definitely stay at again any time we return to Rome.

Great room and location

After an interesting moment trying to find the entrance, I quickly settled in to this nice little place. The staff are friendly and very helpful with calling taxis, tour companies, etc., and the room is modern, wifi is good, and Netflix is even available if you want to just relax in your room.

The location is really convenient, with a few nice restaurants and a popular gelato place within a few minutes walking distance. The Largo de Argentina bus station and taxi stand are also one block away, making it very easy to get around. Several famous landmarks are also within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice unconventional hotel in the middle of it all

This hotel is in the middle of everything. All the major sights are within walking distance. A little different from a standard hotel. No lobby, but you don't need it. I wouldn't hesitate to stay there again when in Rome for a few days

Amazing hotel right in the centre of Rome

Such a lovely hotel. The staff are so kind, helpful and make you feel very welcome.
The hotel is in the perfect location for everything! 10 minute walk from the colosseum, pantheon and amazing restaurants.
The hotel rooms are very modern, clean and spacious.
I would 100% recommend anyone going to Rome who wants to be right in the centre to stay here!!

Clean nice hotel right in the middle of everything

Had a great stay here. Hotel is nice and quiet and clean with modern decor and good air conditioning. You can walk to everything - there is so much to see nearby. Only caution is that it would likely be very difficult to find on your own (we took the shuttle from the airport and it was great). I would absolutely come back here.

modern room; no amenities; good location

This is not a traditional hotel. It is on the third floor of a, small office building. There is one staff person on location during the day. Margherita and Michela were very friendly and helpful. The location was good - walking distance to everywhere - the restaurant area on the other side of the river was ten minutes; the Pantheon was five minutes and the Coliseum was no more than fifteen. A bus stop is across the street as is a cab stand. If you are looking for a traditional hotel with breakfast, restaurant, a large lobby with street presence, exercise rooms, hot tubs, etc, this isn't it. But it does have modern rooms, in our case a real king sized bed, a really good location and helpful and friendly staff.

Sun suite took care of everything for us. Transportation, food recommendations, overcoming language barriers (lol). The location of the hotel is very strategic for all the main attractions and you have a bedside view of the ruins of the old senate where Julius Caesar was murdered.
