This beach hotel and resort is situated along the coral sandy beach of Sanur. Guests will find shops within 10 minutes of the hotel whilst the towns of Denpasar, Kuta and Ubud are a 20-minute, 30-minute and 45-minute drive away respectively.
Ngurah Rai International Airport can be reached in approximately 30 minutes by car. The 32-room resort offers a unique amalgam of modern and ethnic elements along with a new-look minimalist style.
Situated at the centre of Sanur Beach, it is strategically located for a convenient getaway from the hustle bustle of everyday life. Facilities include a hotel lobby with 24-hour reception, hotel safe, currency exchange facilities and a bar and restaurant.
Room and laundry services are provided for a fee, and guests looking to explore the local area can hire bikes from reception (fees apply). The resort offers 2 types of accommodation: the new building is ideal for young spirited guests who love meeting fellow travellers.

The Bali Icon Mall is 2 mins walk. Local pharmacy nearby that opens at 7am till late. Lots of local shops as well as branded convenience stores. Lovely to sit by the pool, beach or restaurant and just watch the water and world go by. People walk and cycle past. Popular with retired holiday makers from Europe and Australasia. My recommendations are not to use single-use plastic/cellophane bags to cover clean glasses, provide guests with face towels as well as paper and metal recycling bins.

We stayed when the Icon was having an event. Extremely noisy all Saturday and from 6 am Sunday. However these events are infrequent so most the time ok I guess.

We loved our. Stay at Respati. Staff are so friendly and always working hard at their various jobs. This is our 5th stay here and we love it. The position on the beach and through to Jln Danau Tamblingan is very good. The breakfast is adequate but for us, we would like proper bacon (pork) instead of beef bacon but we do understand as it is a Muslim-owned Hotel.

If you want a relaxing holiday in Sanur we would recommend a stay on the Beach front. The Respati Beach Hotel offers this and so much more. Right close to the new Icon Bali Mall, central to the main road Jl Tamblingan, eateries, massage spas & coffee cafes, right on the beach front and walking & bike riding pathways, then choose the Respati. They were incredibly accommodating in everyway, especially the housekeeping, general maintenance & garden crew, lobby & restaurant, & breakfast staff were so friendly and were extremely polite. The Restaurant offers special dining offers which are worth looking at, we certainly did. Came home after 10 days of warm weather to a rather bleak winter's day, but it certainly reminded us of where we would prefer to be! On the beach front in Sanur @ The Respati Beach Hotel!

The breakfast buffet was ok and some staff were friendly. The pool area is a little run down and the pool was always murky with tiles missing off the floor. We saw a snake in the dining area but staff didn't seem to bothered by it or by even seeing where it went, which was unsettling..

Top stay in North Sanur
Let's start with the only negative, and it has nothing to do with the hotel: on the north side of the property is the new mall, Icon. On weekends, It's management allows live performances with VERY LOUD music on the outdoor stage. This is noise pollution not fitting the quiet area of Sanur. A petition should be raised to stop this nonsense.
Now to the positives:
All the staff were wonderful and very helpful. Nothing was too much and they bent over backwards to assist. Our room upstairs (215) was very clean and serviced daily. The gardens look immaculate and well maintained. Breakfast was good. The cooked section changed the selection daily, egg-station was brilliant, fruit juice and fresh fruits and even croissants and muffins. The beach was clean with plenty of deckchairs with umbrellas. The pool is on the smaller side, but sufficient considering the beach just across the foot path. We can definitely recommend Respati Beach Hotel.

Respati Hotel in Sanur is in a fantastic location, perfect for walking to restaurants, bars, the dentist and the Icon Mall. The gardens are beautifully maintained and while the pool is small with no shade, it’s easy to access, with four cabanas and plenty of towels available. Breakfast is basic, with an extra charge for a cappuccino. Our second floor room was comfortable, though the bathroom felt dated, with a noticeable crack in the hand basin. The balcony was small but practical. Staff were attentive and even went above and beyond for our anniversary. Overall, a convenient and pleasant stay was had and we would stay again.

Respati is a wonderful gem of a hotel located directly on a beautiful beach in Sanur. The rooms are very modern, spotlessly clean, and come with a mini fridge with tea/coffee making facilities and supplies, as well as daily water. There are also thoughtful amenities such as tooth brushes and slippers. There are plenty of free sun loungers on the beach and beach service. The pool is very clean and inviting.The breakfast is a mix of Western and Asian dishes, and although basic, plentiful. The location of the hotel, right on the beach walk, has numerous restaurants nearby, as well as the new ICON MALL. The staff are very friendly and kind. It's the sort of place you are unhappy to leave!

Location Location Location says it all a great place to stay in Sanur, close to great bars and restaurants along the boardwalk and close to the new shopping centre also some good places to eat at the front of the resort along the main road. The restaurant is the biggest let down in that it is very obvious that the cheapest products are used, a lot is frozen products which is extremely disappointing especially as the price reflects that of a lot higher quality . The property itself is in need of a face lift. Lots of patch up jobs. TVs in rooms are that old that you cannot enjoy your own streaming services. And only have a couple of channels. The shower was very average.

I gave the hotel 2 stars because of cleanliness and maintenance issues. The day I arrived the shower drain was clogged and the water flooded the bathroom. The wash basin was also clogged they had to come and clean that. The towels were dirty they needed to change them and the bed sheets had stains. After they changed it, also the new ones had stains. It was really terrible. The location of the hotel is superb and the beach front is really beautiful. The grounds of the hotel is very well kept. It is too bad that they are not paying attention to maintenance and cleanliness.

Sanur has a very nice beach promenade, restricted to pedestrians and cyclists, extending right along the beach front for 4-5 kms. Respati’s beachfront access places it in about the middle of the promenade so it is easy to have a walk either north or south without the hassle of traffic. Additionally, Respati provides numerous guest sun beds on an area of beach. Although a little windy, the ocean was delightfully warm and clean while we were there in July. Respati is built on a long skinny block with beach access at one end and access to the main tourist shopping/eating street - Jalan Danau Tamblingan – and its cars and scooters. The hotel buildings are well maintained too but showing their age in some areas eg the shower may not be pristine. The gardens are tropical and colourful and well maintained. Staff are helpful and welcoming. Our booking included breakfast which is served in the nice restaurant adjacent to the beach. The adequate breakfast was a mix of Indonesian and Western breakfast items with different dishes appearing on different days. Even though we preferred to swim in the ocean, the pool looked nice and was well maintained. The pool is small so has only a limited number of loungers available. Air conditioning was excellent. Wifi a bit patchy but adequate. We paid $130AUD a night for our deluxe room. Based on the wide range of prices in Sanur we thought it reasonable value for money.

Love the Respati, great location, rooms are clean and spacious. Thr gardens are lovely. Pool is ok, nothing special but prefer using the beach. Food at the restaurant is good except the beef bacon in breakfast buffet. We made a suggestion that staff come down to the beach to serve drinks and food instead of having to go up and order it. Staff are lovely, very friendly and makes for a lovely atmosphere. Wouldabsolutelyrecommend.

We like the beach at this part of Sanur - there are no boats tied up at front and the water is deep enough to enjoy, but not rough. As with many hotels of its type, it could use a little update, but everything is maintained in good working order, and the cleaners and gardeners do an excellent job. If I was to make one request, it would be to expand the breakfast and provide a few more options ( would love to see actual pork bacon available, and fresh juice). We are not sure how the new shopping centre next door will affect this area of Sanur - we wouldn’t want it to change too much- it has a lovely relaxing atmosphere with a good local vibe.

Resparti Beach Hotel is right on the beach and adjacent to the walkway leading to other hotels, restaurants and market stalls. The garden leading from the rooms to the breakfast area, pool and beach is delightful. The reason for the noise is that building work is being done next door, not the fault of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

If you want to be on the beach then this is a good option. However, there is construction next door only during the day. Also, I stayed on the second level and sliding doors design have a gap from the wall which make it more difficult to keep the room cooler and more noise. It was also frustrating that check in time was at 2pm and when I came back at 1:55pm, she said they are still cleaning the room when it seemed that the place was less then half capacity.

The resort was in a great location, but it was not worth the $140 a night it cost, firstly the pool was tiny and hot not refreshing at all and the shower in the room had no water pressure, we wouldn’t stay there again

This was a charming place, right on the beach with the restaurant right by the beach. A beautiful, quiet garden walk from the busy street to the rooms, then the pool, then the beach. The breakfasts were top notch and included in our inexpensive room price. We loved this place.

The property is a bit dated but they were working on updates while we were there. The roms were nice and spacious but the shower curtain was dirty and should have been replaced before I checked in. Overall the staff were wonderful and it is a nice place to stay with a beautiful, clean beachfront! I would stay there again.

Charming hotel on a dreamy beach
Sanur Beach was clean, while other area beaches were littered with trash from a storm the week before. Hotel setting was beautiful with beautiful, lush gardens leading to the beach. The beachfront walkway was lined with restaurants, shops, bars, and other services, so I never left the area. In fact, I kept thinking the beachfront looked so perfect and scenic that it looked like a movie set. Everyone friendly and courteous. The room, while spotlessly clean and well maintained, was showing some wear and tear.

We were in room 103, which I loved. It was the quiet end of the property, away from the road, and further away from the construction project next door. It was 10 steps to the pool, dining room, beach!! The front desk staff was very helpful and able to answer all questions. They leave fresh fruit in your room, which is a nice touch. One bad thing - our room had an over powering moth ball smell when we arrived. To the point I got a headache. I was assured there were no chemicals in the toom for the bugs and housekeeping brought an orange deodorizer for the ac - which I declined. I had housekeeping just clean with water the next day, but the smell persisted. I was headachy and tired the 3 days I stayed there - and I blame whatever was causing that smell. I'm now in Malaysia and that smell came with me on some of my belongings but I'm hoping they will air our soon. Other then that smell, the facility was great.
