room service only every second day - that is not desirable.
the shower stall in the bathroom was for a mouse, one can hardly get in and turn - I am of average height and size, have never seen a shower this small

Wonderful to walk in park, but good 10 mins to town. Great place if you got a car.
Breakfast okay, but no other food or drink available.

I must say that I found Haus am Park far different from what I expected after reading the reviews. It was very Spartan and the receptionist was quite curt and not very welcoming. I had just come from a four-star in Austria and the difference was stark - a two-star at best.On the day we left (Thursday) - it was actually very good that we left at 7 a.m. as the town had already blocked the driveway for road construction and we found it quite difficult to get out - including driving in the opposite direction on a one-way street. Had we left only a bit later, I fear we would have missed our international flight connection in Frankfurt. As we had only arrived late afternoon on Tuesday and parked in the hotel's lot (for which we had to pay for each night - and we were not aware of this extra charge) - I do believe the receptionist or someone in reception should have told us about the construction that was coming early Thursday morning. I definitely will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Third stay with issues

I found this property by coincidence 6 years ago and have been using it as a lay over upon arrival or before returning to the States. The property changed management approximately 3 years ago and as a result there has been a drastic change in hospitality and guest service.
This hotel puts rooms on booking sites to ensure max. occupancy. These rooms are discounted which puts you on the lower end of the ‘foodchain’. With my second to last stay, I was delayed with my arrival and was literally chewed out upon arrival asI had inconvenienced the manager. I also often travel with a good amount of luggage/supplies and always send an email ahead (2+ weeks out) requesting a room that is easily accessible since they don’t have an elevator. I ended up in one of their attic rooms with no offer to help navigate the four flights of stairs. Maybe that was my punishment for arriving late. With this last stay, I received a call on the day of my arrival and was informed that my room had water damage and they had booked me into a different hotel. Given their past lack of concern for the guest experience, I felt pretty apprehensive and over the phone we agreed that
I would look at the other place before committing. Upon my arrival it was a done deal. What they unfortunately did not resolve was payment for the room nor the inclusion of the breakfast for which they wanted me to return to their hotel. Sadly, this no longer a great place to land before or after a trans-Atlantic flight.

Peaceful setting, spacious rooms, great service

We were given a lovely, roomy, nicely appointed suite overlooking the terrace. The weather was nice, so we could have the windows open and still have a peaceful night's sleep, due to the quiet park setting. The only bad thing was that the cigarette smoke from the smokers on the terrace came into our room. That could be resolved if the hotel would put the ashtrays up at the back of the terrace instead of right next to the building. Breakfast was super, and the lady who oversees that is so gracious and pleasant. It is a short walk into town through the park. This was one of the best lodgings of our whole month long trip.

Decent place in Bad Homburg

I was looking for a place to stay that was within easy driving distance to Frankfurt airport. This was a bit further than I expected. The park across the street is very nice for a stroll. The hotel itself is clean and decently run. However, there were times when no one was in attendance at the front desk. The hotel seemed understaffed. The biggest drawback was the lack of elevators, leading to a whole lot of lugging heavy bags up and down stairs, including those leading up to the main entrance (in the rear of the building). No one on the staff offered to help. While this hotel was adequate in most regards, it was a cheerless environment.

Very large room with cozy beds and great WiFi. Staff was delightful and the location right next to a park filled with glorious sculptures and a spa made this a very special trip.

Decent on-site parking costs extra and there is no elevator. High-ceilings in room make air move a little better when opening windows fully - there is no AC. Lovely tea service in-room.

Breakfast was small but good. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Das Zimmer war sehr groß und lag leider in Paterre und dadurch waren Gitter vor den Fenstern. Das Hotel ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Leider gab es keinen Fahrstuhl.

Auf keinen Fall wieder.

Zunächst trotz Buchungsbestätigung kein Zimmer.
Service sehr unfreundlich bis unverschämt.
Nach Rücksprache mit der Buchungsplattform doch ein Zimmer erhalten das allerdings nicht fertig renoviert war. Starke Geruchsbelästigung durch Klebstoff für Bodenbelag o. ä. Keine Nachttische vorhanden ( Lampen standen am Boden und waren nicht angeschlossen) Bilder nicht aufgehängt, abenteuerliche Elektroinstallation. Schlafen war nur mit offenen Fenstern möglich.

Der nahe Kurpark und die nach nur 5 Gehminuten erreichbare Fußgängerzone belegen den tollen Standort des Hotels. - Viele Parkplätze ist ebenfalls top - Das Hotel selbst ist allerdings schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. - Trotzdem würde ich es aufgrund der anderen Vorzüge jederzeit wiederempfehlen.

Not really what we expected!
Our room was not cleaned among many other rooms.
Finally we got a room and missing big towel. I got ; small ones as towel for shower. Poor breakfast. No yougurt as as an option 2024. Not used to dogs either. Only charging extra for dog and extra for parking. I recommend to pay some more for a better hotel.

Ich war zwei Nächte dort. Einfaches Zimmer, eine von zwei Heizungen funktionierte nicht im Winter, das Bad renovierungsbedürftig, das Bett alt und knarrte bei jeder Bewegung.
Ja, es ist kein Luxus aber dafür sehr ruhig gelegen. Das Frühstück war ok. Zum gleichen Preis gibt es jedoch jedoch bessere Hotels in Frankfurt und Offenbach. Die findet man hier leicht auf Expedia.

Haus am Park ligger fint placeret lige ved Kurpark og i gåafstand til alt i byen. Hotellet er et lille sted med 20 værelser. Venligt personale og en hyggelig gårdhave. Fine parkeringsmuligheder til 7€ pr. døgn.

Im Prinzip günstig gebucht, vielleicht auch nicht richtig hingeschaut. Jedenfalls hatte ich ein Zimmer ohne Bad (das es so etwas in deutschen Hotels noch gibt!) gebucht. Ein Upgrade auf ein Zimmer mit Bad kam mal eben 20 Euro pro Nacht. Der Parkplatz kam dann auch noch mal 13 Euro. Am Ende kein Schnäppchen...

Ordentliches, sauberes Hotel mit Verkauf von Ayurveda-Produkten. Das Frühstück war gut, Früchte, Käse und Wurstwaren frisch, keine Fertigprodukte, das Brot aber eher aufgebacken. Kein Lift in die oberen Stockwerke und die Bettdecke zu dünn für die Jahreszeit (allerdings weitere Decke aus Kunstfaser im Kleiderschrank). Bedienung korrekt, sehr schöne, ruhige Lage am Kurpark.

Die Lage des Hotels ist super, sehr schön direkt am Kurpark gelegen. Allerdings muss man für den hauseigenen Parkplatz bezahlen, was ich sehr befremdlich fand. Und mein Zimmer war unter dem Dach mit separatem Bad auf dem Gang. Dieses war auch nur von innen abzuschliessen, so dass man seine Sachen immer wieder mitnehmen musste. Das hätte einem bei der Buchung gesagt werden können, aber auch für den Preis von 85,- EUR hatte ich mehr erwartet. Das Frühstück war ausreichend, aber bis auf die Rühreier war nichts selbstgemacht. Die kleinen Frikadellen waren aus der Packung, ebenso wie die Croissants.
Insgesamt für eine Nacht ok, aber leider nicht mehr zeitgemäss für den geforderten Preis.

Keine freundliche Begrüßung, bevor der Schlüssel ausgehändigt wird, wird zuerst die Rechnung gestellt. Die Einrichtung stammt etwa aus den 70er Jahren des vorigen Jahrhunderts und alles wirkt etwas verstaubt. Das Frühstück besteht aus Aufbackbrötchen und schlechtem Kaffee. Überall hängen Verbots-oder Gebotsschilder. Der Betreiber sitzt Abends und der \"Lobby\"und schaut Fussball...
Der im Preis war um mehr als 10€ höher als im Internet angepriesen. ein eher schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis

Im August 2017 habe ich das Hotel schon gebucht für einen Preis von 126,10 pro Nacht.
Die Anreise war im März 2018, die Geschäftsführung von diesem Hotel hat uns einen Preis von 180,00 pro Nacht berechnet.
