This hotel exceeded my expectations by a mile. Just to clarify a few points first though - if you're looking for concierge, bar, extensive pool and gym, then this is not the place for you. If you're looking for a roomy, well decorated, clean and quiet small hotel, with a lovely restaurant cafe on its ground floor, then this is for you. I very much enjoyed my stay in the lovely, high ceiling room with its plentiful natural light and the friendliness of the hotel/cafe staff. I would stay here again.

Comfortable but different type of hotel

Be aware that there is no front desk as such - a very different type of hotel. But website clear on this and we loved our stay in such a lovely small town. The inclusive breakfasts in the cafe were excellent and a big feature of the day.

Nice value hotel in a small village

This is a nice small hotel with rooms located over a cafe, which runs the hotel. It is located in a small village center, with relatively easy access to the motorway. The hotel has limited free above-ground and underground parking. Accessing the hotel without a car is likely too impractical to be worthwhile.

The rooms are nice and have been recently remodeled/updated with private bath facilities en suite, TV, and free wi-fi. Free breakfast is also included at the very nice cafe below the hotel, with very liberal breakfast times and a choice of selections from the cafe menu.

For the cost and inclusiveness of free parking, wi-fi, and a nice breakfast, this hotel represents an excellent value. However, it is worth noting that because check-in is done in the cafe, if one arrives when the cafe is closed, I am not sure how this would be done -- if a late check-in is needed, it would be best to call the hotel to ask before making a reservation. If already checked-in, one can return to the hotel late, since the room key card also opens the front door of the hotel. Also, before getting a parking pass, it is difficult to find parking around the hotel in order to check in.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay and would certainly stay at this hotel if I were in the area again, particularly given the excellent value.

Perfect for the night before flying out from Frankfurt as well as visiting family in neighboring towns. The hotel room is lovely, clean and spacious with a grocery and places to eat within walking distance including the café where we received our keys and parking passes. I'd stay again!

Trivelig hotell med god beliggenhet.

Dette var en av stoppestedene på vei fra Spania til Norge. Hotellet ligger i en småby, er pent og ryddig og området byr på bra spisesteder og en avslappet atmosfære. Frokostservering i tilligende kafe/vertshus. Utmerket mat fra en rikholdig frokostmeny og med god service. For oss ble dette en god opplevelse på vår lange ferd.

Mye for pengene

Limes Hotel var en god opplevelse for oss som reiser litt med bil i dette området. Det startet med svært god service i forbindelse med vår sene ankomst, fortsatte med fine og godt utstyrte rom preget av godt renhold, en super frokost og generelt god mat. Servicen var like bra også etter ankomst, og gratis wi-fi og gratis parkering teller også på plussiden.
Hotellet er litt annerlefdes i planløsning enn mange andre - noe er her, og noe er der, men det fant man fort ut av.
Størrelsen er slik vi gjerne ser etter - små og mellomstor familiehoteller. Her finner vi erfaringsmessig best produkt i forhold til prisen man betaler.

Veldig bra - stille og rolig

Vi var veldig fornøyd. Vi er av og til i dette området, og for oss foretrekker vi helst et mindr ehotell utenfor Frankfurt sentrum. Limes har god beliggenhet i forhold til dette, stille og rolig, og med passe kjøreavstand til Frankfurt.
Hotellet er litt hit og dit med forskjellige innganger og plassering av ting, men det er oversiktlig og lett å finne frem, og parkeringen er god - og gratis.
Rommene er bra utstyrt og rommelige, og alt virket rent og ryddig. Meget bra mat, og en spesielt god frokost som var inkludert.
Vi nevner også ypperlig og fleksibel service!

Schönes Hotel, guter Service und Hammerfrühstück

Haben zwei Nächte dort verbracht und wurden positiv Überrascht. Die renovierten Zimmer sind geräumig, sehr sauber und schön. Und auch der check in im Bistro war schnell und unkompliziert. Der Hammer war jedoch das Frühstück. Konnten uns die leckersten Sachen von der Menükarte aussuchen. Frisch und üppig und das sogar bis 12.00 Uhr! Personal sehr nett und mit dem Tourisentinformation-Büro vis a vis war diese Aufenthalt einfach perfekt.

Richtig toll!!

Richtig tolles Hotel. Zimmer sehr neuwertig und groß. Parken ist auch umsonst. UNd das beste ist das Frühstück a la Carte. Frisch gepresster O-Saft, Rührei nach Wahl, frisch zubereitet, viele Kaffeespezialitäten. All Inklusive. Personal auch super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Einziger Wehrmutstropfen: Der Eingang zum Restaurant/Cafe' ist getrennt vom Eingang zu den Schlafräumen. Aber das stört mich nicht wirklich. Kann ich nur wärmstens empfehlen!

Kurzurlaub in den Mai (Paar)

Wir waren dort 3 Nächte. Zimmer und Bad waren sauber und genügend Platz vorhanden. Gewünschtes Zimmer zum Innenhof erhalten. Schön ruhig gelegen. Aufzug vorhanden. Der kostenlose Parkplatz direkt im Innenhof war für uns
auch sehr angenehm.
Was wir als besonders angenehm empfunden haben war das Personal. Egal ob beim Ein- oder Auschecken, beim Frühstück oder Abends - das Personal war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und kompetent. ( und immer mit einem netten
Lächeln). Auch die Qualität des Frühstücks und die Menge ließ keine Wünsche offen.
Was für uns leider nicht so optimal war, war die Härte der Matratze. Diese war SEHR hart und hat einen erholsamen
Schlaf für uns verhindert. Auch hätte man im Bad noch eine Schminkbeleuchtung oder zum rasieren gebraucht.

Punktabzug für die Betten. Sie sind sehr hart. Kopfkissen sind abgenutzt. Ansonsten ist das Hotel sehr zu Empfehlen.

Kleines, feines Hotel

Das Limes-Hotel hat nur 24 Zimmer und einen Tagungsraum. Auch gibt es keine Lobby, sondern Check-In und gastronomische Versorgung finden im Café Klatsch im EG des Gebäudes statt.
Die Zimmer sind allerdings geräumig, sauber und komfortabel ausgestattet. Praktisch ist der Fahrstuhl-Zugang direkt zur Tiefgarage des benachbarten Rathauses, wo man kostenfrei für die Dauer des Hotelaufenthaltes parken kann. Das Café Klatsch ist sehr gemütlich, und das Essen ist wirklich lecker und auch für das Auge ansprechend präsentiert. Den Service habe ich als unaufdringlich jovial empfunden.
Die eingangs erwähnte mangelnde Größe und der Check-In im Café Klatsch erhöhen dadurch den Charme-Faktor eher noch (in meinen Augen). Einzig eine bessere Ausschilderung von der Straße aus wäre ein Verbesserungsvorschlag. (Ich bin bei Dunkelheit und heftigem Schneefall angereist.)
Dennoch eine klare Empfehlung als Geheimtipp!

schönes sauberes Hotel

waren als Gruppe für 2 Tage - unterwegs mit Autoausflügen und das Hotel hat eine gute Lage für den Raum Frankfurt. Das Team ist sehr freundlich und Frühstück gibt es (ausser Sonntags)frisch nach Karte.
Es gab auch genügend kostenlose Autostellplätze, Tiefgarage und Aussenplätze.

モーターショー取材のベースとして利用。ホテルフロントが見当たらず、レストランのレジがそれと知って苦笑い。しかし、ホテルとしてのクォリティ、朝食付きのレストランの充実(夜に食したFlamm Kuchenフラムクーヘンというピザに似た郷土料理もgood)、駐車場無料にwifiもまあ使える(無料)など、快適性はハイレベル。次もここにしようと思います。

Hübsch und sauber

Das Hotel ist noch ziemlich neu und hat sehr schöne, moderne Zimmer. Hübsches Bad. Die Zimmer und Bäder sind sehr gepflegt und sauber. Das Frühstück im Cafe Klatsch ist prima und reichhaltig.
