Trip Inn Nordwestzentrum

I have stayed at this hotel several times and always find it clean and good value for money. It is in the middle of the brilliant Nordwestzentrum shopping centre and directly over a fantastic swimming pool complex. Getting into Frankfurt centrum is very easy and quick by public transport or taxi.

Service at breakfast unfriendly and breakfast is a low key breakfast.
Definitely needs improvement, not worth the money. Property is convenient, however be prepared to hear the noise from all the area around you. Balcony is useless droppings from above are expected due to structure of gutter made.
TV is small but room was clean-

Stayed at other locations and hotels during my trip and unfortunately this experience at TripInn hotel was the saddest part-

I was happy to see my sister and ate breakfasts with healthy fresh foods and crispy rolls, and friendly family service.

Would not choose the hotel again:(

Where to start? We stayed at this property 10 years ago. It seemed fine then but has declined since. First off there was construction in the facility where the hotel is located making it difficult to find the entrance using GPS. There should have been signage to direct our cab driver to access point or a note to us to describe how to find it. When I asked the front desk person about it, he shrugged and said nothing could be done. Also:
- no hotel recycling
- no washcloths in the bathroom (may be Euro thing)
- office computer not linked to a printer so useless for boarding passes, etc.
- no fitness center
- no dual language instructions
- front desk staff limited and often distracted

This is a very nice and convenient property in Northwest Frankfurt. Adjacent to a very large mall...restaurants, shops, various services as well as a transportation hub with bus, streetcar and taxi availability. Have been staying at this hotel for 20+ years ( has changed names but always has been good basic and clean) Also adjacent to huge aquatic center and fitness center, saunas. Very quiet and away from downtown noise but only about a 20-25 tram ride.

I stayed two times in this hotel in double room .. first notice that there is no air conditioner in the rooms so no way you can stay in summer time ... first stay for me the room had minibar second stay there was no .. although its the same room ... Breakfast is the same everyday dont hope that u find one addition to what is there everyday ... good things there are iron and hairdryer in the room and ofcourse the location .. the hotel is in a centermall which have every kind u can imagine from restaurants and entertainment

Property is very difficult to find and then access. In advertisements there needs to be clarification as to PARKING AVAILABLE verses PARKING PROVIDED. GPS does not have the new entrance configuration there for very difficult to find as it is part of a large mall.

Very very difficult to find. It's in a mall location. Very difficult parking and limited space. Very hard to find the reception area and hard to find the parkade. Hard to get in and out of the property as well. The hotel rooms were very very hot. No air conditioning and no way of cooling off the rooms. We were very uncomfortable. I wouldn't stay here again.

17 euro per day to park in the Mall

I remembered paying 3 euro per day to park in Nordwestzentrum in the past. This trip costed me a whopping 17 euro per day! Great little mall though. Convenient location. Will have to consider the high parking expense when I consider booking here again though.

Clean but noisy.

Hotels charge three times the normal amount during the Frankfurt Book Fair so our rate of approximately 100 Euros per night (way more than the normal rate) was rather pricey for this level of hotel. It was clean enough but as our rooms were on the front and on a busy road it was quite noisy (and therefore impossible to open the window at night). Also the rooms were too hot. The hotel was however very clean and functional and at the normal rate would be good value.

Ein zentral gelegenes Hotel in einem Einkaufs- und Freizeitkomplex. Die Mall mit Läden und Geschäften ist einfach fußläufig zu erreichen (<5min). Viele der Läden waren zwar geschlossen, aber es war alles zu finden, was man von einem EKZ erwartet.
Die Anbindung an den ÖPNV ist genial, quasi aus dem Hotel heraus in den Bus „fallen“.
Die Lärmbelastung hielt sich für uns (Zimmer 4.OG) in sehr akzeptablen Grenzen.

Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Der Stil ist bereits doch schon in die Jahre gekommen und so könnten manche Dinge gerne mal überarbeitet werden (Laminatdielen quellen an den Rändern, Duscharmaturschlauch relativ kurz für Leute >1,80m, etc). Alles aber nicht gravierend und nicht wirklich störend.

Das Frühstücksbuffet ist eher spartanisch, aber es fehlt an nichts. Bei unserem Aufenthalt war nur eine Servicekraft da, die in Frühstücks-Stoßzeiten an ihre Grenzen kam. Das Frühstück kostet 12€ pro Person und Nacht.


Die Parkmöglichkeiten sind begrenzt. Das Hotel hat einen eigenen Parkplatz, den man sich mit 17,-€ pro Nacht bezahlen lässt. Die Tiefgarage des EKZ ist zwar günstiger, aber nur von 19:00-07:00 Uhr, sprich man muss früh raus, wenn man nicht den Tagestarif bezahlen will. Ansonsten muss man „auf gut Glück“ im Umfeld nach freien Straßenparkplätzen schauen.

Fazit:
Außer Den genannten Kleinigkeiten, gab es qualitativ an dem Hotel nichts auszusetzen. Teurer als 80€ p.N. Sollte es allerdings wirklich nicht sein.

Kurzes Wochenendausflug

War für uns ideal zum Shopen, da das Nordwestzentrum (NWZ) vor dem Hotel ist,
ebenso die U-Bahn- und Bus- Haltestelle ist im NWZ. In ca. 20 Min ist man in der Hauptwache, also mitten in der Stadt Frankfurt.

Zimmer sind sehr veraltet. Wir hatten leider Zimmernachbarn die spät abends noch Party gemacht haben. Das Zimmer hatte Verbindungstüren zum Nachbarzimmer. Nebenan wurde mehrfach versucht in unser Zimmer zu kommen. Es war sehr beängstigend. An der Rezeption wurde uns dann ein neues Zimmer gegeben und wir mussten nachts noch umziehen.

Der Preis war eben günstig und das Frühstück gut.
Ich würde allerdings empfehlen bei der Buchung auf ein Zimmer ohne Verbindungstür zu bestehen. Diese bieten keinerlei Geräuschdämmung.

Bei der Ankunft roch das Bad nach Canabis, am nächsten Tag nach dem Betten machen nach Zigarettenrauch. Die Gästecouch musste immer wieder in die Verankerung zurück geschoben werden. Das Bett fühlte sich sandig an und der Tisch hatte schon länger keinen Lappen mehr gesehen. Am Abreisetag stand kein Wasser zur Verfügung. (Spontane Abstellung der Stadtwerke) Das nächste Mal gehen wir lieber woanders hin.

Anreise mit dem PKW durch das große Einkaufszentrum schwierig, Hotelparkplatz nicht zu finden.
Eingang zum Hotel nicht zu finden, kaum Hinweisschilder. Das hat mich bestimmt 45 Minuten umherirren gekostet.
Zimmer und Bad 80er Jahre. Duschvorhang zerrissen und schimmelig.
Frühstück zwar alles da aber lieblos - evt der geringen Belegung geschuldet.
Bin viel auf Dienstreise in Hotels, war zwar günstig aber ich werde das Hotel nicht mehr buchen.

Unterhalb der Brücke direkt links einfahren!! Thermalbad zum ermäßigtem Preis möglich (Anfrage bei der Rezeption)

Das Hotel sah von den Bewertungen her gut aus, aber das Zimmer hatte einen unangenehmen Geruch. Das Buffet war nicht so vielfältig und eher kleiner. Obendrauf musste man 12€ Parkgebühren zahlen. Außerhalb konnte man kein oder nur schwer ein Parkplatz finden, aber das wär dann auch zu weit weg. Das Personal war aber freundlich.

WLAN könnte besser sein, sollte ohne Ticket, bzw. Passwort möglich sein.

Hatten ein Zimmer im 5 Stock. Sehr abgewohnt. Im Badezimmer fehlte ein Spiegel, der Föhn war schmierig und wozu braucht man 4 Rollen Toilettenpapier? 2 Halterungen und eine Stand oben drauf.
Personal war nett, aber auf Allergien beim Frühstück wurde nicht reagiert. Schöne lage zum shoppen aber nachts laut wegen Klimaanlage. Kommen nicht wieder.

Den günstigen Preis „zahlt“ man

Allein der Check Inn war wegen Corona sehr schwierig. Die mitgebrachten Bestätigungen, wonach meine Reise eine dringende Geschäftsreise war, hat nicht ausgereicht. Das Hotel hatte andere Vorstellungen von einer Bestätigung.

Der Fernseher war defekt, das Bad eher schäbig.

Die Anreise war nur für Insider möglich, da das Hotel von einer 4 spurigen Strasse umgeben und keine Ausschilderung vorhanden ist.
