Nice room and breakfast buffet, but the first thing I discovered when entering the bathroom was a long-tailed silverfish which wasn’t the nicest surprise, even though they’re pretty harmless.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus Frankfurt and while the hotel itself is clean and the rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds, the overall experience was let down by poor service and a terrible breakfast.

When we arrived, the kids’ beds hadn’t been set up, even though our booking clearly included them. After a long day of travel, this was really disappointing and not what you expect from a hotel of this standard.

From the moment we arrived, the reception staff seemed uninterested and unwelcoming. Each time we came back in the evening, they didn’t even lift their heads to greet us, even when I said hello. They were too busy on their phones to acknowledge guests, which felt quite rude and unprofessional.

Breakfast was honestly abysmal, the worst I’ve ever had in any hotel. Half of the stations were empty: no bacon, no meatballs, no pancakes, and no fruit. On our last morning, I had to specifically ask for fried eggs because nothing was being replenished. The staff at breakfast, much like reception, looked unhappy and disengaged.

The only bright spot was on our last day, when a lovely lady at reception smiled, chatted with the kids and even gave them some sweets a small gesture that made a big difference. It was nice to end on a positive note, but unfortunately, it’s not enough to make up for the rest of the stay.

If I ever return to Frankfurt, this would be the last hotel I’d choose.

Zero courtesy, un experienced checkin staff - night . Broken safes and coffee machine and cold plus stale breakfast.Asked for baby milk and got denied.Had to walk 30 minutes at 1 am to get milk.I don’t recommend this place even for free.

Clean and New, but watch the check in and parking

Couldnt check in on the first day as receptionist has no idea how to do it. Was on the phone asking colleague and showing screen via video call.
After 10 minutes got bored of waiting and requested my key so I could go to the room.

Also, parking is very expensive 75 euro for 34 hours parking. The first 25 euro was incurred for the firt \"day\" although I arrived at 10:30 at night.

Hotel is clean and new, although not sure what the \"Plus\" refers to in the name. It is a standard Best Western.

Very easy to find location. 15km from the Airport. Its 25 Euros to park over night in the deep garage, but if you find a spot outside on the street, it's free. And safe. The rooms are what you would expect. Very clean. The concierge, very helpful and have great tips. Sadly the restaurant was closed, but they recommended a Thai Restaurant, 5 minutes walk away. We were not disappointed. Would recommend any time.

The stay was OK, but I will not come back to this hotel again.
Here is what I don't like: The room is very small, and noisy as it's on the street side that is busy with lots of traffic. There is only one bottled water, which is for the first day; they don't give bottled water afterwards. The room will not be cleaned unless requested by turning on the sign for cleaning, which should be the opposite. There is no body lotion. The night light is too bright. The bed is too small. They refused to cancel and refund for early cancellation.

I was sweating all through my stay in my room. The air conditioner wasn't working as I would have thought. I was always hot in my room after paying so much, I wasn't comfortable as I would have expected. I will never stay in beat western again and I would definitely tell this experience on social media as well.

Found a needle in the bed. The bedsheet was not changed, after asking them to. It was already dirty, when we arrived at the hotel. After telling the staff about it, they said the housekeeping is not here anymore and they can’t do anything about it. We were there for 2,5 days and I slept without a blanket.
The only nice person in the staff, was a young, tall boy in the early shift and the indian guy in the night shift.

Deliberate overcharging

Incredibly disappointed as I paid booked and paid for 3 Junior Suites for 3 nights to accommodate 5 colleagues on a business trip. On arrival we were told that there were no Junior Suites available and we would be given 3 Standard Rooms instead. The receptionist confirmed that there was a substantial difference in the room rate between a Junior Suite and a Standard Room and that they could not refund the difference themselves as I had made a booking via Exepedia (I thought I made and paid for the booking via this site) and they would have to make the refund.

On my return, I informed Hotels.com of the situation and asked for the appropriate refund. They said they would aske the hotel for the amount and 2 days later replied that the hotel refused to entertain a refund and there was nothing they could do.

This is unbelievable. They offered, reserved and took payment for a Suite and on arrival only provided a Standard Room. Knowing that with the city totally flooded by visitors to the largest trade fair in the world there was no rooms available anywhere in the center of the city, we had no option.

This is the worst billing experience i've had at any hotel anywhere and Best Western should be ashamed of scamming extra money from guests by falsely charging for rooms they did not provide.

I will be taking this up with my credit card company to get satisfaction.

great place for a stop over, great bar, food and simple room. Our ac didnt work in the room so got a bit stuffy but didnt make our stay terrible. will definately stay again, ill just check the ac before i get into bed.

Okay hotel, watch our bill and mind the silverfish

Stayed here for two years, and both years the bill was wrong. I needed to fix the bill and make sure it was right. Also there were silverfish everywhere including in the restaurant. It is a decent hotel but it seems like they need to work a bit harder to keep it clean and make sure they get the billing right.

My Frankfurt Visit

The Hotel is an good location which is quite very near to the Frankfurt Hbf around 7/10minutes from the hotel by tram, the tram station is only few steps from the hotel door which is very convenient, neat locality with lot of fresh air, hotel is also comfortable with all amenities, front desk is very helpful for all your questions, their is an super market next door in case you want to buy any thing, Only issue in the room is the mattress that they have provided which very hard and once you fall asleep and get up it gives lot of pain on the back of the body, this is very critical point that the hotel has to work on, pillows, bed sheets, blankets etc are very good, hotel restuarant was not used by us hence we do not know about the same.

Worst hotel stay ever.

36 degrees outside and the air condition wasn't working. Apparently \"too many people were using it\".

If the boiler room temperatures wasn't enough, the invasion of 50 crawling and flying insects above the bed was the straw that broke the camels back.. the hotel had no other rooms and I quote directly from the guy on
Reception \"I can't book you into another hotel, as I would have to pay out of my own pocket. So you will have to keep your room\"

I promptly sourced another hotel, packed up and left. No way am I staying in a room full of bugs that had made their way to the bed. I have a video and pics of anybody wants to see them.

Since all of this happened at midnight, you could say it was highly inconvenient and I shall never stay at Welcome Frankfurt again.

I expected a far better service for a 4 star hotel. No tissues in the room, asked for an ironing machines 4 times to have it and I even had to take it down myself with the whole thing. We paid for room service thatbwe did nt have for 2 nights. No one cleaned our room and we have no idea why. Asked for towels and they told me I had to go down myself to bring it. Very bad stay that made my trip really a headache.

Morning Staff at reception 19 April had their eyes glued to computer screens and managed after supreme effort to look up and speak to me. No trace of a smile or a friendly voice , it really was as though i was a complete inconvenience. i think that they either need more training or a different job.

This is a nice hotel if you want to get away from the City. The facility is new and clean. The rooms are spacious for Europe. The 20 Euro breakfast was extensive and great. You have to walk a bit to get to a restaurant but there is a nice Italian place called La Famiglia.

Stayed at the hotel for the Ambiente Trade Show ....location was a 10 minute walk away which was really convenient . Not a great deal around although there are about 5 restaurants close by if you walk under the flyover and take the second right . However , one tip ...DONT go to the Chinese ...dreadful service and below average food !
I stayed in a junior suite which was really good size and spotlessly clean , would definately stay there again for the show

Great hotel!

The staff is friendly, didn't use room service but coffee (coffee machine) in the room was free and was replaced daily. It was very clean and comfortable, and quiet even though it's right on the street. A huge plus is the tram line which is right outside the hotel, it's frequent and I think it runs very late in the night, and comes every 10 min or so. I'd highly recommend staying at this hotel! Had a short stay, but it was very pleasant!

Short walk to Messe new clean hotel!

Great hotel 5 min. Walk from messe. The room has very good lighting with everything you need in it very big shower all clean and new. The room is not small but not so big. This is the only thing i would change a littlel bigger room. Great hotel!

Good hotel, but off the beaten path and had to take the tram to the city. Very conveniently located next to the tram station. Street parking was free and abundant.

Loved the room set up and interiors, especially the bathroom!

Great hotel. clean, modern and comfortable. tram 17 runs outside the hotel into both Messe and the main railway station. It's pretty much a residential area but the transport links are good. At the Messe aea there is a the Plaza shopping complex and also the underground U4 line which takes you to the city centre shopping area (Konstablerwache) and aslo to Bornheim. You can also depart tram 17 and get on Tram 16 to Schaunhausen nightlife zone (Lokalbanhof). The breakfast was quite dear at €19 but that is normal in Germany. Didn't have dinner but admit it looked quite good, whilst sitting in the bar one evening. This hotel is ideal for anyone going to the Messe hall, but also a decent location for any area of Frankfurt due to the transport link. Rooms were spotless and staff very helpful. The last Tram home is at 1:15 and remember Taxi are very expensive from here.

The front desk people are great. The room is ok. Clean and modern. Very small which is ok if other amenities make up for it which in this case they really don't.
The spa area (steam room, Sauna, treadmill, exercise bikes) is fine but no dumb bells or weights of any kind.
The restaurant had good food and for Germany not too expensive. That is important as there are VERY few choices of places to eat within walking distance. Although the pizza place (left out of the hotel a few feet to main road then right for 250 meters or so) was cheap and good.
The REWE supermarket is close and really good to look around.

Unremarkable business hotel with attitude

Booked months ago and requested twin room which was confirmed by Expedia
However was told on arrival it was a double and no twins available
We booked a business room and that seemed to be part of the deal
This was for myself and business partner so really not acceptable for a 3 night stay
After much complaining with moody receptionist followed by the same with similar minded colleague they eventually allowed us a twin room from somewhere ?
Bar staff great but other than that unremarkable and a feeling of doing them a favour by staying
