4 friends staying in Frankfurt for the Euros. Very cheap room compared to some we saw. Suite was spacious and had more than enough room for all 4 of us, with a very large & nice bathroom too.

only one staff at reception. kept answering phone and made the check.in process last for 20 minutes.
hotel block is 5 minutes walk ftom reception.
room key didn't work. Allocated uncheck out room.
customer complained and reception staff threatened to throw customer put of the hotel. The reception man said it is Germany, he could throw customer put of hotel if customer complains.
I m a,frequent traveller and I hv never experienced such nonsense, rough and poor service. I m very disappointed that expedia has promote to hotel.

We needed a good night sleep before our flight back to the US. Sadly, it was about 90 degrees F that day and when we checked in we noticed a little tiny sign that said their air conditioning was out. Our room was on the ground floor and it was 80 degrees F (27 C) when we got into the room. We opened the one window as wide as possible and also the door. There was no fan and no air movement of any kind. By 11pm, we were desperately calling around to see if we could find another hotel room but, to no avail. We tried to sleep but, because we were on the ground floor we couldn't leave the door and window wide open so we had to seal up that awful room and it was absolutely stifling. When we went to check out the next morning, there was one guy at the front desk and dozens of people in line. After waiting 30 minutes, we put the key on the desk and walked out because we had to get to the airport. The neighborhood did not seem good either and there was crazy loud music coming from a nearby apartment late into the night. All in all, an awful experience.

Everything was quite nice. The beds were not useful though. While comfortable, they had two twin mattresses pushed together to make a double bed and I thought that was very tacky and uncomfortable for my boyfriend and I. Also, there aren’t many ways to get into the main city easily the tram station was a 10 minute walk and the bus stop didn’t come very often. But the sheets were clean and the parking was good.

Nice, recently modernized hotel. Room was on the smaller side but clean and had a nice bathroom. Breakfast was good. The only thing I found a bit annoying, was the parking situation. There weren't enough spots for everyone.

hello , i arrived in time for check in , was given a room ,promptly ,,, this room was just vacated and unclean ,, second room given ,, while trecking back and forth w luggage ,,, had ac set peminantly at 22'celcius' 71 farenheit ,, and its only window was facing brick wall,,, ,, returned again to front office asked for technicians ,, after 1]2 hr waiting in hot room ,,no oone came .. ifound them in hall way they had not even been called ,, i take them to my room ,, and after watching them fiddle wi inoperative controls ,, my patience was at an end ,, at front office i was assigned another room in 3rd building , that was what i had payed for,, they did say sorry ,, but that service required free breakfast.,,, not being charged 4 euros for bottled water ,,, never settle ,,is the lesson here

Overall this hotel was good for the price. They have nice rooms, good dinner and breakfast and a simple parking spot (for 10 euro's a night).
However, I was not impressed with the friendliness of the staff or the location. If you don't mind riding a street car for about 30 minutes than it's no big deal. The staff members were pretty rude. We had our room cleaned after our first night and come time to pack up and check out we realized a beer glass we had bought for a souvenir was missing. It could have been an accident and they may have thought it came from their kitchen (although they don't serve that brand of beer), but when we called the front desk the man was rude about it. We didn't see that beer glass again, but other than that it was good.

Clean, good value

Room was impeccably clean with no smell. Decor was modern and pleasant. Small single bed business suite with very comfy feather pillow and duvet and no noise at night. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. Breakfast buffet was solid. Staff were nice. Location is far from train station/transport, hence 4 stars.

I stayed for three days. Clean comfortable room with free wifi & breakfast suited my needs for Business travel. Parking was an additional 10 Euros and lot filled up quickly. I stayed in the rear building so I had to go to the Main building for Breakfast each day. I would stay there again.

The connection with the tram to town was oke. 10 minutes walk from line 11. The area is quite, but the admospere like a buisiness zone. The Hotel is very well equipte and peoples are very friendly. The rooms are a bit too small for more then one person.

The hotel is out of the city centre, about 10 minutes walk from the stop for two tramlines that go to the Hauptbahnof. It's quiet despite the proximity of a railway line. Very pleasant staff. Excellent breakfast spread. Robust free wifi.

I really have no complaints whatsoever, it was a welcome relief at the end of the day. Its location though slightly tucked away is also very central

Good for no-frills business travelers

My primary problem with the Goethe was its location, which poses a real problem if you're a tourist who is unfamiliar with Frankfurt. Hidden behind a car dealership and a 25-30 Euro cab ride from the train station and airport, the Goethe is not the easiest place to find, and the surrounding area (I walked a good five to seven miles) doesn't really present much in the way of restaurants, sights, or local culture. The lobby, lounge, and room itself were adequately clean and comfortable but not luxurious. When I first arrived in my room I immediately got a call from the front desk saying that that room had actually not been completely cleaned and restocked so they moved me to a slightly better room, which I appreciated. The staff and front desk were personable and helpful when I asked about places to eat and calling a cab the next morning. Also, they serve an impressive breakfast spread with the BEST vanilla Rooibos tea I've ever had. Bottom line: if you are just passing through town and need a no frills pillow on which to lay your head, Goethe will suffice. If you're seeking to be in the center of Frankfurt's highlights, keep on looking.

To get dinner, I had to walk about ten blocks as there is no eateries near the hotel. It is in a sort of industrial area. It is relatively new.

The log on directions found in the room for the internet for me were a bit complicated and I had to ask help from the front desk. They were helpful.

Be careful on the taxing ride from the airport. I got ripped off. The taxi driver I guess did not want my fare as it was relatively short from the airport to the hotel, instead of a direct run, he took me on a big circle at twice the cost. The hotel manager in the morning made sure the taxi driver to the airport took me direct.

Eine praktische und preiswerte Unterkunft für mich, um im Deutsche Bank-Park zum Konzert zu fahren. Die Anbindung mit der Straßenbahn ist sehr gut (ca. 600m Fußweg).

Die Unterkunft und das Zimmer sind zweckmäßig und sauber. Für mich absolut ausreichend und gut organisiert. Über Tags konnte ich auf dem Zimmer per WLAN ungestört und problemlos arbeiten.

Für einen Städtetrip kein Urlaubshotel vom Flair und der Umgebung, aber beruflich OK für mich.

Waren sehr freundlich allerdings war im Dreibettzimmer das dritte Bett ehr ein Klappergestell mit einem sehr dünnen topper. Nicht wirklich angenehm zu schlafen. Konnten kein zweiten Topper besorgen. Warmes Zimmer, Klimaanlage hat aber gut funktioniert. Eins der Handtücher war dreckig. War ok.

Nichts Dramatisches, aber auch nicht toll

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Das Zimmer war klein (OK, kein Problem) und roch etwas unangenehm. Oberflächlich war alles sauber, aber Teppich und Sessel waren fleckig und müssten mal grundgereinigt werden. Staubsaugen reicht einfach nicht aus. Eine der Wasserflaschen war bereits leer, aber ein vorheriger Gast hat wohl einfach den Deckel wieder aufgedrückt. Na ja, richtig schlimm war das auch nicht.

Was wirklich unangenehm war, war fehlende Beleuchtung im Bereich des Schreibtisches. Hm. Schreibtisch - Schreiben. Aber ich konnte kaum etwas sehen. Zum Glück hatte ich ein Leselicht dabei, aber das mit der Beleuchtung geht gar nicht.
