Great place to stay for an exhibtion

I was there for an exhibition in Frankfurt, walking distance to the exhibition, good and safe parking space for the car in the garage, break fast was very good with a lot of options, staff at the check-in and out very firendly and helpful. Only little things like no fridge in the room was not good or in the bathtube for shower no anti slipering mat was available. An in all, I will book again for the enext exhibition in this hotel.

air con did not work. had to keep window open all night to get any air in room. traffic noise kept me awake. had to check out and find another hotel. front desk people refunded two nights (of 4) becuase I told them I was going to contest payment on AmEx. a total joke of a hotel.

Very nice room. Staff helpful and friendly. Changed my key 3 times when I noticed it was desensitizing in my smartphone case. Worked perfectly after keeping them apart. Only gripe I had was the sink drained very slowly.

BAD PAINT SMELL & NO AIRCON

Don't go there!
No AirCondition - although they claim they have.
Bad paint smell in the Room - U simply sleep with Chemicals in the room.

I have been staying in June 2019 for 4 nights there, check in late around 23:00. When entering the floor corridor a bad smell of paint, when entering my room it was even worse.
I wanted to turn on the air con and open the window but no AirCon ( it was 35 deg - outside). There was a switch but it doesn't operate anything
So I went back downstairs said the i moved from other hotel to this one due to the AirCon but it doesn't work and that I am an asthma sick and the paint smell is so bad.
Do you have another room with working Aircon and no Smell? The receptionist said only tomorrow we can change your room.
I didn't sleep all night and went again next day, they changed my room to another room same issues smell bad from paint and no Aircon.
I came again next morning, they say that they are sorry no other room available.
I asked to talk with the manager of the hotel but she was not available, i left a message to get back to me but till now no reply by email or tel.
This hotel has no working air condition in all rooms, it has a bad smell of paint in the room since they renovate it but didn't give the paint smell to come out and just trying to make money over innocent customers that looking to put their head on a bed and rest, but find themself sweating and smelling all day and night.

The building absolutely has to update their air conditioning unit.
The sheets were also lacking, as with 40 degree weather the bed only had a duvet for cover.
Also, why not offer guests a bottle of water in the room?

A Quick two nights

Hotel was clean and tidy. room was clean and airy. No coffee or tea facility in the room.did advise cap on door and door knob came off .not a big thing but advised . Response was it happens a lot!
Hotel is out of town but only a 10-15 minute Walk from Messe Conference Centre if you have to go there.
Breakfast room clean and food was good. .
Each morning the reception desks seemed to be overwhelmed with guest coming in for conference, so the queues to check in were long. Would suggest paying any bills the night before and just leave key on the desks.
But was a clean and accommodating

Beware: Hidden costs are HUGE!!

The hotel was not bad overall, but there were two things that really affected my opinion of this hotel: The price of the breakfast was 18 Euros per person, and the price of the overnight parking was 22 Euros!! I thought both of those were a total ripoff. To pay for those two things would have cost me almost the same as what I paid for the room. I think that is a scam

Worst Melia I have ever stayed in!

I have stayed in various Melia hotels around the world and this, by far, does not live up to the name.

Initial room offered smelt of cigarettes. It was a smoking room although I wasn't asked for preference. I requested a change as the telephone line in the room also didn't work. I was the give a room with two single beds for a reservation for one person. I asked if it was possible to have the beds joined, which the refused. I then asked if they could provide with a bed sheet to do it myself and they also refused. They stated they did not have any other available rooms. Having argued with rude members of staff for at least 30 minutes, I contacted Hotels.com regarding my problems checking in. Miraculously a suitable room appeared on the first floor.

The water in the bathtub did not drain and appeared to be blocked. There were silverfish insects in the bathroom floor every other day that were coming through the carpet.

Furthermore, the hotel advertises \"sound proof rooms\", which is untrue. You can hear people walking in the rooms above, doors slamming as early as 0700 hours on whichever floor you are on and on the floor above, as well as people talking in hallways. If you are expecting to sleep until late or have a comfortable lay in, this is not the hotel for you.

There is also no option of a kettle in the room with tea like many other Melia hotels.

Great staff, rooms could be improved

A Double room was actually 2 beds pushed together (Meaning my partner ended up on the floor one night).

They also didn't provide 2 mugs in the room with the tea and coffee facilities, but staff were happy to provide another mug from the cafe/bar.

Staff were fantastic, friendly, and though my attempts at German seemed to entertain them (if nothing else) they had no problem speaking English. From making sure we had fresh Tea/Coffee or even ordering a pizza for us, they were happy to help with anything and everything we could think to ask.

Nice, clean hotel. The breakfast if good and the location, near Messe, is great for business trips. The internet, decent one, is $1/hour, which while annoying is not as bad. However, 4-stars is an exaggeration, the rooms are rather small, with not even a coffee maker or a safe.

convenient for the exhibition halls

Visiting Heimtex this year just for one night I wanted somewhere I could easily walk to as it's very difficult to get taxis. This is about 400m from the Atrium end i.e. other end form the city. Room was very quiet, friendly staff. Would stay there again.

The room was beautiful. My only problems came from the twin beds that were made into a double bed. They had no roller blocks to keep them together. Sleeping with my wife was extremely uncomfortable as we both had to pile onto a twin size bed. Other than that the room was great.

My husband and I stayed one night. Parking was difficult and overly complicated. Internet access is complicated, slow and can easily be very expensive. The breakfast buffet in the morning was very depleted and the hot food cold....this for 20Euro per person...not worth it...total rip-off. Getting in and out of the parking garage (20 Euro per day) was complicated with having to check in with the desk to get a pass each time. The room was small with bare minimum furnishings and no outlet in the bathroom. Room was clean, staff spoke English well.

Great Location for Exhibition Halls

I would only stay here if you're heading to the exhibition shows at Messe which you can practically walk. It took around 10 minutes to walk to Hall 9 which was very convenient. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly. If you're vacationing, it's a little farther out but there is a tram that takes you to downtown and main train station. For the price during the shows, it's a good value.

Although the QGreen Hotel was a little bit out of town it was only 8 minutes or so on the tram to the Hauptbahnhoff (Main station). The tram was 5 minutes walk from the hotel and the trams run quite frequently.
A lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff.

The hotel was clean, standard double room was cozy, and the staff were nice/spoke English. It was slightly annoying how the hotel did not have free wifi (only free up to 50 MB on one device). The hotel was quite a distance from the airport and the city center and Romerberg, but they were all accessible by subway. There was a subway/tram station, supermarket, bakery within a 15 minute walking distance, but other than that, there wasn't much around the hotel.

it cant be a 4* hotel

we arrived at the hotel about 12pm, check in and left the bags and went out for lunch, unfortunately the hotel location is not near with 'food' place. we decided to go back to the hotel to have lunch, but..the hotel said they dont cook for lunch so they baked us a bread with tuna mayonaise for topping...bit weird 4* hotel restaurant not ready for lunch.
every morning my husband ordered for 2cups of cappucino, the second morning, after i left they didnt take out the trey and cups and didnt clean up our room properly like a 4* hotel does. the third morning the cappucino came up only half cup each, of course we paid full price not half price. and never expect a kettle even they are a 4* hotel that can be found in every other hotel
the location not superb if u come for leisure.

Hotel was nice, but...

I found the room to be quite nice. It was sufficiently clean and the bath tube was quite large which I appreciated. There were also some nice amenities provided. I probably won't be staying again though. While the hotel has several nice things going for it, some of the detractors are just a little too much for me. In particular, the free internet is made intentionally difficult to utilize. You have to go to the reception desk to get a new ticket each time you use up 50 mb. A few ads on a website can eat through 50 mb pretty quickly. They were nice enough to give me a new slip when asked, but it really wasn't worth the effort. I only asked for two slips the whole time I was there. I would have liked to look up a few more attractions to see in the city, but without more access to the internet it wasn't really possible. If you need to use the internet, I would suggest going somewhere that has a higher limit. The second drawback to this place is the location. It's not too far to walk to the train station, but the look for the neighborhood wasn't the best to me and I didn't enjoy the walk late at night. There's also not much immediately nearby and you have to take the train to the city center.

I stayed for two nights here. It was a very nice hotel and the staff were very professional. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was very good. The downside to this hotel is a short list: location is not great. Luckily trains in Frankfurt are good. Breakfast was expensive (18 euros) and the wifi is free, but the amount of data is very small.

The hotel staff is amazing. The did the concierge job without charging extra fees. Some of them speak 3 languages, very important for a city like Frankfurt. The only thing I'll criticize is the fact that is far from the train station and no restaurants close to it. But for the rest is a great service. The price is great!!!

I am hugely disappointed with my stay at the QGREEN hotel. On arrival they asked me and my partner for a credit card which we did not have as we don't travel with these incase of thraud. We were never informed about the credit card when we booked the holiday. As we didnt have a card they were refusing to let us stay, even though we had already payed with my partners details through bookingl. Had to wait nearly 1 hour for the manager to arrive who was still saying we could not stay without a credit card. We offered our passports and after about 15minutes of discussion she said it was okay. This was embarassing as people were in the reception at the time. They came in our room when we were out and locked the minibar. Me and my partner booked breakfast but on arrival they said no breakfast was included. We only choose this hotel as it had breakfast with it. Staff at the hotel were very unprofessional. One staff member was so rude to me and my partner. We were refused the code for the internet even though it was free. Staff refused and said we could not keep going down for the code and even charged us money. I am really upset about our time here as this was meant to be a special occasion, our anniversary, but it turned out to be a nightmare. Staff made us feel like we were of no importance and to be honest, i would not recommend this hotel to anyone that i knew. I am still in complete shock at how we felt whilst staying at this hotel. Utterly let down and sad by my experience.

QGreen Hotel by Melia Awesome for business or fun

I arrived on an early flight and even though the room would normally be available at 2 p.m. they got me in before that time. The staff was just awesome. Stefano was especially kind. He took time out to give me directions to busses and trams and in a day I was hopping on and off tram and bus with no complications. I really appreciate his help. The entire staff was helpful especially with their knowlewdge of English (since I speak no German). They were friendly. The location is quiet, a little out of the center of Frankfurt but that is exactly what I needed. The room was big (even at American standard) very clean..clean to a shine! I was pleased. The daily stock of beverages and snack in the refrigerator was welcoming after spending the day walking and touring! I walked late up to 9 at night and had no problems. It was a safe, clean, friendly environment and the rate very reasonable.

The hotel is good for the price and, while you are not really within walking distance of the city, there are good public transport links. Good for a cheap option if you are wanting to go to the Messe. Rooms are clean and staff are helpful. Not much in the way of shops or food in the immediate area, but again, tram is easy to local things. Beware of the \"free\" internet though. They will give you a login ticket for 50Mb. You can get as many as these as you like, but you can imagine how long that lasts. About 10 mins per ticket in my case! A 24 hour unlimited option is available for a price.

I stayed here for a week and the hotel is comfortable and clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. Don't be fooled by the \"free internet\"! You get a login that gives you 50MB of data. You can have as many as you want for free, but they last about 10 mins of normal web surfing, and then you have to log in again. Very annoying. If you want unlimited internet you must pay per day. No weekly option available. Location of hotel is good if you don't want to be in the city centre. Easy tram in to city and Messe if you want it.

Nice located Business Hotel with Restaurant and Lobby Bar. It also on the Trolley Line near stop Leonardo Da Vinci. Trolley #17. I had the Junior Suite which had a mini kitchen with dishes and utensils,and a separate bedroom and separate bathroom. Full fold out Sofa bed also in the private living area.two people can share with no problems.However, this business hotel is not business friendly. Their wifi internat situation is terrible. You must pay Euro 4.95 per day for real usage or free for the first 50MB that is gone is 5 or 6 emails. Once I agreed to pay the daily rate of Euro 4.95, it kept expiring every 24 hours and you must again \"go to\" the front desk personally and get a new password and sign for the service. This is the only second rate low budget aspect of the oepration, but after a long day at shows and you set down to relax in your room, you remember you must go back down and get wifi access. Very annoying.

Great Hotel, very friendly staff. Booked late at night and got an excellent deal at this business hotel. Room windows open, which is a big bumos as well.Free wifi in the lobby.

Good Fair Hotel

Clean Hotel at walking distance from Hall 9 of the Frankfurt Messe. Good rate and very good location if you need to go to the trade show. Restaurant and bar are decent but could be improved. Front Desk and Bar and Restaurant Staff extremely nice.

Trade Fair Visitor

If you are looking for a hotel near the fair this is the one. Less than a 10 minute walk to the Messe entrance at Hall 8, close to a tram for town and the right side of the city for the airport. We will re-book.

Surprisingly good

I was staying at this hotel during a google conference in frankfurt, and I must say that the hotel exceeded my expectations. the room was clean, big and well worth the price. the service was also good.

central location

Hotel is located very close to city center. We took the tram to the central railway station and from there it was easy to get anywhere. The hotel is very nice, clean and staff very friendly. It also has a nice lobby with bar and restaurant. The price to stay very affordable and I will certainly use it again.

Poor choice for business travellers

We attended for the Book Fair. The hotel is convenient for Messe exhibition centre, but not much else. It's about a 15 min taxi from the airport, and a 5 - 10 minute walk to the halls. Like everywhere else, it hikes its rates up for the Fair, so you're paying for a 4 star while staying in a 3 star. But it would be a good choice except for their failure to provided internet connectivity. Instead they sell you T-Mobile scratchcards, which are almost useless. They can only be used on one device at a time, only last 24 hours, you have to constantly be retyping the password, but - worst of all - there is a poor signal in most of the hotel.

In my opinion the hotel should warn that it is not suitable for business travellers.

The Qube Frankfurt

Very nice hotel especially for the price as I wasn't expecting such nice surroundings for so cheap (not in a bad cheap way)...totally recommend it thanks very much especially to stefano who worked on reception he made us feel welcome and helped us with some errands :-)
