I was charged for parking when they stayed that parking would be free with my stay and then they charge my account twice once for $73.31

Our last stay at Skyline Hotel was honestly disappointing. The room was dirty when we arrived there were a lot of used cotton buds beside the bed, and we even saw many ants inside the washroom. It also would’ve been better if they had a microwave available for guests.

The only thing we truly enjoyed was the easy access to the waterpark through their connecting bridge, which made things very convenient for families. Hopefully the cleanliness and room maintenance will improve in the future.

The room was dirty. We had no shampoo or body wash in our dispenser, iur sheets had stains and dust in the corners. Check in would have been better if the staff were more friendly. Sad that this place has gone SO down hill especiallyfor the price.

The fan in our room was loud and there was some loud people close to our room late at night (not the hotels fault I know). We asked to move rooms and they let us have another room on the upper floor. The rest of our stay was quiet and pleasant. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

The hotel and waterpark were pretty rundown. Staff at the front desk were nice. The kids had fun at the waterpark. We struggled to get our little ones to sleep because there are courtyards outside all the rooms. There were kids running around and yelling in the halls and in the courtyards until after 10pm. We called down to ask the front desk if they could ask them to quiet down but they said the hotel \"quiet time\" starts at 10pm. For us, this is a bit late as our kids are usually down well before that. The walls are thin so we could hear everything and it was stressful.

The beds and bedding were not very comfortable and the blankets were really thin and did not have a cover, although a sheet was provided. Felt more like a hostel to be honest.

I was happy we had only booked one night. Next time I think we will stay elsewhere largely due to the level of noise - waiting until 10pm for the hotel to quiet down is just too late for our family.

Our room wasn’t vaccumed. There was a dirty shirt behind the bed. And the one bed was broken in the past and they used 3 pieces of angle iron and plywood to “fix” it, the angle iron was sticking out the side by about 6” and my self and several of my party have been cut, scratched, and bruised by it. I had to put my sandals over them to avoid anyone getting hurt if walked into them again. Also the cleaner left a dirty rag on the steps of the bunk bed

The rooms are super hot with no air conditioning but did supply a fan. The carpet in the room is so dirty it made our feet black and had stains on it. The lamps had dirt all over them. The toilet seat had oily residue all over it. The curtains are all stained. Just overall not a very enjoyable spot. No sound proofing as you can hear people slamming their doors all night long as well as a broken elevator.

Staff were very accommodating but unfortunately the elevator was partly broken and only 1 so everything needed to be carried up the stairs, staff did offer extra help and support with this but it still caused a big mess in the lobby. Second the hotel shuts off the ac fully during the “colder” months but it’s super stuffy inside the rooms because of this. Needs to have better air flow. Staff offered fans but it was still hot we left our room door open as much as possible when we were in our room.(felt as if the hall air was on but not in the rooms???) Hotel is also outdated for the prices. I understand it’s connected to the waterpark but with the fees and prices we were charged I was expecting more.

Staff were always on the ball, the elevator was down during our stay and the staff were nothing but helpful when needed helping carry stuff upstairs, with three kids under 6 help was definitely needed and appreciated. Also had our van break down in front of the hotel and the hotel staff were very quick and helpful to help us come up with a solution, 10/10 amazing staff there I have nothing bad to say in that aspect

Came here with the wife for nephews bday ...it was ok def not worth the price we paid ...i can stay at sheraton eithout eunning kids for same pricw and better bedding and rooms ...its way over priced for a run down rom with ripped window curtains amd a plain old shower from 1970...needs a really bad refurbishment and alot of run down stained carpets evrywhete the bed was prob the least comfortable bed I've had at any hotels in Niagara and i have slept at many..overall would not return amd definitely stay somewhere else if your not using the water park and want to stay beside family

In court room 3 they play the music all night. It was a bit much.

I stayed here because the company we travelled with wanted to stay here, so we sucked it up… not the greatest, the staff checking us in was not the most friendly, by any means, very loud hotel… a lot of kids running around and yelling at late late hours, the place is very dated, the room seemed clean at first glance, although very dark and depressing… and the bathroom looked like something from bates hotel from the psycho movie… and my son ended up in the morning with weird bumps of some sort, and the carpets were lifting in a bunch of places … personally if I return back to Niagara fall in the future I would not stay there ever again… we switched hotels to the Vittoria hotel in Niagara Falls it was very nice and cost less, very clean , bright and new looking, and close to attractions! Would stay there again a million percent!!!

The hotel is quite old and would need some renovation to make it more modern.
There were no microwaves in the rooms and we had to walk to a central location to use a microwave.
Unfortunately the elevator choose the weekend I was there not to work and was told the fix would be done after the weekend.
Some of the staff were nice and friendly while some could not be bothered.
However the hotel is strategically located,close to the falls view water parks,close to the casino which has a sports bar and close to other restaurants and tourist attraction.

This place is so run down. The carpet is all bubbled up everywhere, the rooms are ancient, it hasn’t had anything done to it since it was built 50 years ago. Our room had a running toilet that no one came to fix. The key cards are so difficult to work that you have to slam the door handle down with your fist in order to get them to open. This place is an all around terrible hotel. Stay next door at the Sheraton.

Pool was excellent. However this is my second time staying at this hotel and both times the elevators were not working. For a popular destination the elevators should always be in proper working conditions. Not having guest fetch their luggage up and down stairs. Another thing for the price they cost for a night, breakfast should be included. I have stayed at establishment that cost way cheaper and free breakfast was provided.

3/10 I would say that that the waterpark is fun and safe for kids. Now my hotel room was a descent size the washroom and view was good but in the hallway smelled like all type of bad substances. This hotel is full of kids so us as adults should take care of them and the hotel should do better too. Another problem was not having a mini fridge or microwave or anything for food. It was an ok experience but I hope that with this review they try to make some changes to the things a lot of people (including myself) have said

Unfortunately this place didn’t meet even our lowest expectations. The place as a whole is run down, and in desperate need of some TLC! It appears that the pride for the establishment has taken a hit. Beds are uncomfortable, carpet is pulling apart and heaving. Our shower had rust spots everywhere, when the other unit would shower it would sound like the walls were vibrating. Dirty towels, face towels, etc.

The noise and the disruption well into the night was by far the worst I have ever had. Doors slamming, banging, and screaming until all hours of the night. Neither of our three kids slept and we are paying the price! Literally. The representation of the place as a whole is very misleading!! I do not take pleasure in writing negative reviews but this one needed to be said.

AC in the rooms did not work, it was extremely hot and uncomfortable to sleep in. Elevator was broken causing many families including ours to be carrying heavy strollers up and down the stairs. Ants in our room and rooms do not get very dark overnight given the large windows into the courtyard that has lights on all night.

Perkins restaurant on site had incredibly long waits to be served, a little tough with young kids.

Probably would not return.

Family of 8 in two rooms and we had a great time! Beds were super comfortable, rooms were clean. We loved the courtyard vibes and the fact that the waterpark was SO close to walk to! Staff were great and friendly, seamless check in & out. Our only concern was the amount of strollers and trolleys all needing to use the only 1 elevator, in and out in a small spaced hallways was a bit of a nuisance. Otherwise, a perfect staycation spot!

It was an easy walk to the indoor water park from
the skywalk bridge. Not very many amenities the hotel offers but you are a 5 min walk to Clifton Hill. Check in was pretty busy at 4pm so we didn’t get into our room until close to 5pm which we only had about 3 hrs for the waterpark which closed at 8pm. Although you can go the next day you really had to plan, because you can only enter at 9 am but checkout at 11am. Overall the kids at fun and it was very affordable.

We spent 4 nights during March break which was supper busy of course specially after 10 pm we couldn’t get rest because all kids and teenagers were up and running around making noise till 1 am and people can jump all night on the second level to make sure u not get enough rest . That was very annoying. Room cleanness was not great and parking was another issue. The one in the building is very small with limited capacity and the additional parking is on the other side of the street which is not convenient specially in cold weather. Front desk is always busy not enough teller . The building is old and has not a descent size lobby. On the whole I don’t recommend this place.

While the staff were friendly and helpful, the overall condition of the hotel was very disappointing. The air conditioning and heating units barely functioned, making the stay uncomfortable. The towels were worn and snagged, and the sheets and blankets appeared stained and unclean, well beyond what simple laundering + clorox could fix.

It was also frustrating that additional fees were charged for basic amenities, including towels at the waterpark. More concerning, the waterpark lacked proper enforcement of hygiene rules, particularly regarding diaper use for infants. There were multiple instances where guests had to leave the water due to fecal contamination, which significantly impacted the experience.

Overall, the property feels outdated and in need of major renovation or complete overhaul. Unfortunately, I would not return or recommend this hotel.

The room is pretty average but expensive for the price. It is quite old, we went during March break, and we opted for CourtYard room, ended up very noisy, kids are running and jummping and parents don't say anything in the middle of the night or early morning.

Booked over March break, so it was as busy as we expected. A pleasant surprise was arriving early for the water park, and being able to check in 2 hours early with no additional charge. The room was dated, but was clean and the beds comfortable. The fridge was a definite bonus. Our room overlooked an indoor courtyard, which the kids enjoyed. It was quite noisy until about 10:30pm, but that wasn't an issue for us. Parents not parenting their kids (running around the upper level overlooking the courtyard, banging on windows and doors) was unfortunate, but that was on the parents not the hotel.
The real big downfall was the attached restaurant, Perkins. It was slow, and the food was horrible. Avoid at all costs.

Was disappointed when we arrived rooms were very dingy and smelled like cigarettes the staff at check in was pretty rude and condescending didn’t like their attitude. When ending up getting a refund for our room after some hassle and arguing with the front desk and stayed at the Vittoria instead.
