Postive - all staff was fantastic. Bathroom was clean.
Negative - beyond the lobby, the hotel is austere to say the least. No amenities in the bathroom; no art on the walls in the hall or room; no phone in the room; no toaster in the breakfast area. Almost institutional. Also, I booked a FLEMING'S hotel via expedia, not Motel One. I would not have selected to stay at a hotel called MOTEL ONE

I booked hotel flaming, after booking I was told that the hotel is sold to a new group called Motel one. The hotel was under renovation, room did not have iron, coffee maker, mini bar and even telephone set to call reception. The elevator broke couple of times during stay. The staff however was friendly and cooperative.

Room was clean and tidy, no kettle or fridge but still good enough for a few nights away. Hotel was under major construction on 4-5 floors and the lobby, so no drink facilities there either and some noise from workmen from 8-9am, so may have been nice to know this in advance, should be nice when it’s finished and staff polite and friendly.

My room on Level 4 has a strong renovation paint smell, so I requested to move to Level 6, but the new room also has a smoke smell. In addition, my room key has stopped working several times and needed repeated replacements. Overall, this has been a very unpleasant experience.”

When we arrived we were told that the hotel was under new management. They were also going through a renovation. The room that we were given was not what was advertised. It was very small and no coffee maker was provided. Also the toilet broke the first morning. They did fix it. The location was by the central train station. What they don't tell you there is open drug use right by the hotel.

2nd time to stay here. Well-interiored catering for our needs. Served its purpose for a night’s stay in preparation for a flight. Comfortable bed, short fistance from hauptbanhof, shelves for coats and clothes, desk for working. Will still choose this hotel next time.

The room climate was too hot and I could not turn the heat down. The room was clean but way too small. Expected things like a phone, clock, trash can (in room) and a dresser.
One staff member was great. The other front desk guy seemed annoyed when I asked for anything.

You should let Americans know that they need an adapter for electronics.

Property was undergoing renovations both internally and externally making it a chaotic environment with distracted staff. Dining was overrated. Walked to a nearby restaurant and got followed by thugs. Would not recommend the area or hotel. Proximity to train station and mall was only redeeming quality.

I gave a lower rating because we contacted the hotel months in advance to adjust our original booking due to a schedule change and we they were not flexible. Make sure you do not have any changes to your itinerary as the reservation is non refundable. In addition, the elevator closest to our room was under repairs so my elderly dad had to do a significant amount of walking to get to our room as it is a very large hotel. Other than these complaints the hotel was adequate and staff were kind and friendly.

Check-in and out were easy. Location is excellent. Services available are excellent. Bed is comfortable, but one is supplied with a single, thin pillow. Room is clean and offers all one needs in a modern style.
Internet was subpar. Spotty at times, and bandwidth was always low. WiFi is very important for me, so this greatly affected my review.

The location is close to the central train station. It only took 3-5 minute walk. It is 15 minutes train away to the airport. The hotel is clean and new. I stayed for 5 nights.
The only complain is the checking in far too complicated requiring too much info taking too long. The staffs were very friendly, but mostly in training. They were understaffed sometimes.

Generally speaking highly recommend it.

The street on one side of the hotel seemed a little sketchy...first night we stayed there was 8 police officers and 3 dogs who had about 10 people lined up against a building. Also my pillow wasn't comfortable. The room was nice and breakfast was excellent.

The room and facility were very clean and seemed recently renovated. The location is very convenient since the central train station is cross the street. Superb soundproof and i didnt hear anything in the room. Very nice and friendly staff. The train station is 24-7 so there are always people there and i never felt unsafe.

The self check in was certainly a problem. The employee kept telling me to put my name...after 5 attempts I was able to get their attention again and he said \"oh I need to do something\"..a few minutes later he came back and said to start over! The check in forms are longer than something you would see at a doctors office! I had already book and paid and why go thru these gymnastics. With the drug dealers outside the door and time needed to check in I would not recommend this hotel.

It was great being next to train stations. Staff was helpful. But the location was extremely sketchy. I a from a big city and expected some undesirable activity like any down town locations however this was so bad we refused to \"hang out\" at hotel. Used a extra day of train pass travel just so we didn't have to be at this location.

Unfortunately, when we arrived, we exited the train station at the wrong side and ended up touring the neighborhood. There are many homeless people and drug addicts lining the streets while we did not necessarily feel unsafe. It was shocking the electronic check-in process failed at the very last and we needed to ask someone for help. While we were waiting, we heard reports of dirty rooms and water leaks. The room itself was adequate with limited storage. It was relatively clean.

This was a terrible experience. When we arrived, we were asked to self check-in, which we did. The key we received was for a room where the bed sheets were covered in hair. The bathroom was also in a disgusting state.

We immediately asked to change rooms, and they gave us another one — but again, the bed sheets had hair all over them. It was late at night, and we were too tired to leave the hotel, so we requested clean sheets and ended up changing them ourselves.

This is by far the most unhygienic and disappointing hotel I’ve ever stayed at.

Very convenient location right opposite Frankfurt Main Station.
Modern hotel, well appointed.
Could have done with better pillows and more effective aircon.
Had a bit of an issue with staff over the lack of a bath mat in the bathroom, which was sorted eventually, but not quickly enough.
Bathroom is small but fine, and a generously sized shower.

Our room may not have been spacious, but it was compact and modern style (decor and furniture).

Was in Frankfurt for a conference. The location is super convenient and the stay and breakfast great! The staff were helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable, but now fridge. The area around the station is rough at night, making the hotel a great oasis to relax and rest. The parking is a hassle and expensive at the train station and a long way to carry suitcases. Will probably stay here again.

Good: Close to rail station but away from the sleaze. Clean room with good amenities. Comfy bed. Good bathroom.
Bad: self-check-in requires too much information and is a chore to complete. Space around the bed (in the ‘comfort’ room) is so limited that its best to get in and out at the foot of the bed. Expedia says check-out is 12 noon but I was locked out if my room by 11am and had to get the grumpy guy on reception to re-authenticate my key in order retrieve my possessions

The room carpets are not properly vacuumed, with strands of long hair found underneath the work table. The work table also has strands of hair near the wall where the power socket is.

During checking in, the friendly gentleman told me breakfast was from 6.30am to 10.30am. However, on 2 occasions, I went to have a quick breakfast at 10am and a very rude lady in white, seams like a supervisor, told me that they are closed. I continued to take my food and she was staring at me with an unhappy look.

It’s mentioned that check in js closing at midnight so I did call the hotel instead of getting someone it was a useless call center which was saying that all agents are busy and call got disconnected. I did call 6 times, when I arrived to hotel it came out that reception never got my calls and call center is closed long time ago… so agents are enjoying their free time and not all on the line as the answering machine says. Useless and unprofessional….

Very convenient location, in order to avoid main entrance of the central station. This hotel is located right next to exit from Frankfurt am Main Central Station, Exit which is the corridor underneath the platforms, not the main one.

This is an efficient place to stay for train transport on in Germany. The reception stays open to 11 at night and check-in is largely automated.
My room's decor is uninspired, but the room was clean with a very comfortable bed. I asked for extra milk, so as to be able to make a tea with the in room facilities, and the staff were accommodating. I believe this is very good value for money. The area around the train station is not great, so the 1 minute walk to the hotel was key for me choosing this location. Although there are pan-handlers / homeless in the immediate vicinity, I also noted a good police prescence and I felt safe.

It's a great value and there really is no staff as this is self-check in so don't expect much. It is across street from the train station so that is VERY convenient but the area is not good especially at night. Do not walk around alone. But it is a great value and fine for one night.
