It was a very nice hotel. When we arrived the room was only set up for one but the front desk helped us to rectify this quickly. The area around the bar was a good place to hang out while we waited for the rest of our group to arrive. Very clean and spacious rooms! Right next to the main train terminal in Frankfurt. Very convenient!

Stay at the Fleming because it is 5 minutes from the central train station -literally across the street. You can be on platform 19 to Paris in 15 minutes from your room. The staff is amazing and helpful.

The room could use an update - better pillows would be a good start. The neighborhood needs some love, but again you are 5 minutes from the train station where a warm welcome awaits. We never felt unsafe.

The hotel is right outside Frankfurt HBf, which is super convenient. However, we arrived on a Sunday, and the areas around the hotel had drugged out panhandlers.

I would stay here again, but avoid walking alone outside the hotel, and go across the street to the station.

Hotel room is good and very spacious. It was clean and stuff was very nice. It’s right next to the central train station, so perfect if your train is early or late as you just need to cross the road to get there. It’s about 20 minutes away from main sightseeing of Frankfurt, so no transport is needed. The area near the hotel is very dirty with lots of homeless people and drug dealers. Not sure why the police is not doing anything.

For anyone who is not from Frankfurt, it is a shock to see the surrounding area. The room was also disappointing. Dirty carpet, no basic stuff like a kettle or spoon for tea. Premium price for a budget room.

We stayed here for one night and chose this hotel due to the proximity to the train station. We have stayed at the Flemings brand in the past and generally have a good experience. This property is quite dated. The furnishings quite old, as well as the linens and towels. The room was spacious and basically clean. The amenities were non existent. No soap and an empty bath wash container on the shower wall, therefore had to wash with the shampoo. The area did not feel safe is very dirty and sketchy and loads of homeless around. There are many better options out there.

Reviews for this hotel were wrong…this is not a good area to stay. Yes, it is across street from Central station but there are homeless all around doing drugs. I will never stray here again if I ever go back to Frankfurt. Hotel is old, carpet looks dirty…However, staff was nice and breakfast was good.

Pleasant hotel right next to Frankfurt Main Staition. The area sadly is really dodgy, with some nearby streets “off limits” as suggested by locals and hotel staff alike. That said for our purposes it worked well as we had colleagues coming from all over Germany and the connections (flights and trains) were convenient. I had a street side room which was quite noisy so would recommend bringing ear plugs! The staff were friendly, rooms were average but clean and breakfast was standard fare. Would stay here again if we had a conference nearby but would think twice if visiting as a tourist.

As others have noted, area around hotel is savory. But you avoid it if you are arriving by train and you exit station at north exit in which case you only need to walk across the street. The hotel has entry steps that were challenging with luggage but doable. I’m surprised they haven’t built a ramp.

The hotel itself is lovely in style & decor. Love that our room has a separate bathtub and shower stall. We were able to get a kettle and there was a coffee maker and fridge in the room. Offerings of cookies and fruit in the lobby.
However we arrived early evening and wanted to visit the historic area with the Xmas market . Being unfamiliar with the route the front desk staff showed us on a map how to get there. What they didn’t tell us was about the streets NOT to walk on due to the high number of drug users and dealers. ( this we found out from the police when we asked for help returning to the hotel( and finally jumped into a cab). So we DID end up walking a “bad” street and we DID feel uncomfortable and unsafe but we didn’t know why- the energy was of that nature. It would be good for staff to warn guests especially female ones.
Other than that- and the extreme overcrowding of the Xmas markets… the hotel experience was great.

booked this only cus near the train station. the outside is pretty dirty and filthy but the hotel was cool, location was top notch especially if u got a train ride when you leave. id stay here again , sketchy surrounding though w sketchy people hanging around the corner and what not - saw a dude smoking crack right outside of the place but yea , i feel the whole city of Frankfurt is not the nicest Germany has to offer but it is what it is. Hotel did its job... was here for a day only.

I stayed for 13 nights, and was very happy with my hotel choice. The hotel was lovely. My room was very nice. The mini-fridge though was odd. It didn't get very cold at all (more cool, than cold) and was very shallow (you could put small bottles in the door, and then had about 4-inches of depth remaining). I had to put my salad containers on their sides in the fridge. The hotel staff refers to it as the \"mini-bar\" (although it comes completely empty), probably because it was meant only for bottles (no shelves in the unit). The location was extremely convenient for public transit. Yes, there are dodgy-looking people hanging around the street corner and just outside the door of the train station opposite the hotel, but show me a downtown nowadays without dodgy-looking people and panhandlers hanging around. None of them were near the hotel entrance though. I am a middle-aged, 5-foot tall female, and I felt completely safe. Put your blinders on, and just walk quickly by it all. Overall, the hotel was lovely and extremely convenient.

Stayed for just one night. I would recommend staying somewhere else if you were to visit Frankfurt longer as it’s right by the main Hbf, attracting some unsavoury characters.
The front desk staff were very kind and helpful.
The standard room was a very nice size and just what we needed.

A very good choice that is super convenient to the main train station, particularly the northern end, which can be entered just across the street. My room was comfortable and had a surprisingly large and stylish bathroom for a relatively small room. I would stay here again, especially when proximity to the train station is desirable.

This was one of the best hotels we have stayed in, not just for the facilities, but because of the staff. I don’t think we have encountered a better staff anywhere on our travels. They are friendly, relaxed and talkative. From checking in, having a laugh with the receptionist, to being engaged in conversation at the bar and around the hotel, it was fantastic. My son is 13 and he had an amazing time. The selection of fruit and Haribo at the front desk is a great touch, too. We had a great stay, and would go back.

Good location if you are arriving by train or taking one. Nice rooms. Clean and comfortable. AC is almost useless. Never really cooled down effectively. The neighborhood is quite rough with many people selling drugs all over the place and fighting. There are nice restaurants nearby but be careful when walking around. I am not kidding. I live in Chicago and this part of Frankfurt is rough.

The hotel is right across the street from the main train station, which was perfect for us as we took the train a few times, once to Frankfurt from Nuremberg, once to Heidelberg and once to Berlin. The breakfast could have been a little better. On our last day they didn’t have much at all, no eggs, no bacon very little in the bread department, quite disappointed in that area.

The location is conveniently right across of the main train station. However, the station itself and the surrounding area is more dirty, a bit dangerous with homeless and drug users and is right next to a bar.
Inside the hotel it was a pleasant stay. The curtains and sofa chairs can use a more thorough cleaning. Likewise our A/C didn’t seem to be working properly or at its best. The complimentary water in the room and the fresh fruits in lobby were an excellent touch.
