Near some shops in nearby streeys, but a very 'dubios' area. Lots of guys hanging around offering you drugs etc.
When I checked out of the hotel, the person at the desk did not confirm this on the computer, anf I had a few incoming calls after I left and the hotel said they did not know where I was as I hadn't checked out yet

The room wasn’t “spotless”…the carpet need a shampoo…other than that, the room was very nice. The staff was amazing…friendly, helpful, accommodating… considering the location across the street from the main train station…and the room rate…great value…I’ll definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel in the centre of town near the train station. Ok breakfast at cost. Room a bit cold but the extra duvet helped. Probably because I was out all night drinking and at the football in the snow. Hotel could use a lick of paint to spruce it up but still in good order. Staff were fine.

This is the first time I’ve booked a hotel through Expedia that was not at all what was represented in the ad. The area outside the hotel had a surplus of people living on the street and smelt like strong urine. On arrival there was an altercation outside the front doors and police were called. I always book places with A/C which they said they had but the didn’t. The room was 24 degrees. It smelt bad and had stains on the furniture. I didn’t feel safe and it was so bad we left and found an alternate room. Unfortunately the hotel would not refund us

Location was OK, but large bleach stain on the carpet outside of the elevator. Room did not seem clean and our garbage was not emptied when we checked in. The towels are super old and frayed on the edges and gray in color. This hotel definitely needs a refresh.

Convenient hotel close to Frankfurt Main station

The hotel is very close to the Frankfurt Main station - very convenient if you want to visit other places - Mainz, Cologne or the airport. Also there is a lot of stores nearby. The whole area is a little sketchy but I had no problems. It is about 15 minutes to the Old Town. The room was cleaned daily .

This Hotel is convenient for the train station. Sadly there is much work going on in the area and there are some problems with people out front who are a bit frightening. The Hotel needs a bit of updating and painting and the carpets need a good cleaning. The front desk staff were very helpful and if you walked a block towards the river the neighborhood improved quickly.

The hotel is close to the train station, so traveling close or up to a couple of hours was very convenient.

The only bad thing has to do with getting hit by second hand smoke when you walk outside the hotel. It’s not the hotel’s fault, just be aware that smoking is more prevalent here.

Awful, don’t stay here.

I have no idea how this hotel gets such a high rating on this site. It’s dirty with stains in the carpets and curtains. Towels had holes in them, old and frayed. Dusty, holes in the walls our mini bar had half drunk items still in there. It was hot in our room and they had turned off the aircon for the season, so we couldn’t cool it. The area outside the hotel in not great and does not feel safe with drug deals and vomit in the street from the pub next door.

Location was good, being close to the train station, the bad part is that the area is a bit questionable, as most areas near train stations and a little noisy at night. This is a comfortable, clean and reasonably priced hotel near Frankfurt HBF (Main train station). We used it for our last night in Germany to easily get to the Frankfurt airport. The staff was friendly, and while we didn't have breakfast, it was available and looked like a great selection. We would certainly stay there again if our travels take us through Frankfurt.

The hotel is ok. It's clean and conveniently located close to the train station. The guy who was in charge of my check-in was a bit rude

Also, the pillows suck. We have to ask for a couple extra ones to try and make them into a decent pillow for sleep but they were still lacking the quality of a good one

Rooms were very nicely done and the staff was very helpful. The bedding was great, room was a good size, shower was top notch. The decor was modern and had clean lines. The only issue we had, and it really didn’t bother us, was the street noise was pretty loud. The hotel is on a busy street so rooms on the street side will be noisier. It quieted down about 9:00 - 9:30 so it worked out fine for us. I definitely will stay here again.

I arrive to hotel at 9:00 am from an overnight flight, was way to early for normal check-in time. Wonderful staff manged to get me checked in by 10:30 am! I was so thankful because i was super tired. Because of this, and the hotel itself, i will be staying there again.

Excellent hotel. Breakfast was good and the staff was great. Pillows are flat and only air, but the rooms do allow you to control heat and air, which most hotels won’t allow based on the season.

Major issue is the area. It’s a big city and the hotel is next to a huge train station and liquor store, so there’s construction, noise, drunks, etc. Roght across the street from the train station, which is excellent, but the city is busy, dirty, and, and noisy.

Met my expectation

This is a budget, friendly hotel. It was exactly what we needed a place close to the train station that didn’t break the bank. I did not find it to be too noisy. Spent two nights and would return if I’m in Frankfurt again.

We had a decent stay, had to be careful around the hotel area but the staff was very helpful and the rooms were fairly sized. That carpet in our room had few stains and made it look dirtier so definitely room for improvement but not a bad option for the price.

Hotel was really nice and staff were amazing. The towel situation needs improvement (not enough towels provided daily). Hotel walls are thin and can hear neighbors alarm clocks, tvs, snoring, plus activities on the street. Area surrounding the hotel is quite active with illegal activities (drugs - selling and OD’ing, panhandling, pick pocketing) so be careful!

I spent 8 nights here and was happy with the location (the unpleasant block outside is easily avoided) close to the station, which I used daily, the responsiveness of the staff, the cleanliness, the large, if not particularly interesting, breakfast, and the very reasonable price. —Solo male tourist, age 76.

The room has a nice view of the train station. It was conveniently located for restaurants and walking to nice parts of town. The attendant told us we might be able to check in a little early but we'd have to call and let us leave our bags. We were able to check in an hour early. Nice experience all around.

One night in convenient Frankfurt hotel

Extremely convenient hotel just outside the station.
My room was large, clean and quiet.
I did not have breakfast as I was leaving hotel early and did not have time, helpfully they only charge if you take breakfast which is a great way of reducing waste

my room was pretty small nothing special. the only to see tv was to see it from my bed. the hotel has no room service that means if you need extra towels you must go down to get it.
the surrounding area is not nice at all. if you go anywhere with in few hundred yards you see a lot of people shooting drugs or selling right in front you. the only benefit is its right across the main train station so you can get there with in few minutes.

Nice hotel with excellent service

The service was outstanding. I arrived a little earlier than my check-in hoping that I could store my luggage. The lady found a room for me early though. I had some forms that I needed to print out and she handled this as well. The room was very clean and incredibly quiet. I would love to stay here again.

The hotel is close to the main train station but the neighborhood is busy and dirty. We ended up buying takeout and eating in the room.

Nice hotel but the area is a bit scary. Right next to the red light district. The air conditioning was not working while I was here because it was spring. I had to open windows for cool air, but then it was very noisy because it is right across the street from the train station.
