This is a nice hotel. Staff were great, clean throughout. Location is about 4 blocks from the train station, 1/2 block to the river and walking bridge.many museums on the otherside of the river. You can walk to old town 20-30 min maybe or a short taxi.

Starting with the issues: The room was incredibly warm, heat was off, and 40F outside. Staff said only way to cool would be the window which has to remain locked. It became so unbearable we had to convince staff to come unlock the window at 2am, but they had to lock it back up 10 minutes later. It was unbearably hot again by 9am. If this is how it goes in the dead of winter I can only imagine the summer. Second issue, still not fixed from last year; the shower cannot maintain a constant temperature. Set exactly where you want it, it will start to go wildly cold to scalding hot at will. Its completley random and may surprise you with boiling water while youre incapacitated.. If they fixed theae two issues this would be the best stay in Frankfurt. The room is great, the breakfast is best Ive ever had and it is extremly modern, updated, and clean. But with these issues it is a no go for us anymore

I hate to leave bad reviews, but this was warrented. There was no hot water throughout the hotel, the fridge in the room didnt work, the room was in need of maintenance (mold in shower grout), and no phone to the front desk. The staff at the fromt desk however were great

Excellent stay in Frankfurt! What a well appointed, spacious room in a modern hotel. The bedding was extremely comfortable and it was walkable to Romerberg and restaurants. The staff are truly efficient and so helpful. Everyone from front desk and in the restaurant were so attentive, warm and accommodating. Highly recommend and will stay here again!

I stayed in a Superior View room and the view really did contribute greatly to my stay. The bed was very comfortable with quality linens. Everything was clean. There is a kettle, water and coffee in the room to get you started. I did not try the buffet breakfast.
The hotel is very convenient to the museums but a distance from most other sites in Frankfurt. You must walk back to the train station to get transportation connections. It is about three blocks to the station but the station area is not too pleasant an area. I never felt in danger but at times uncomfortable and unwelcome. The hotel is just far enough away from the station to be in a better neighborhood, however, around the hotel it is more of a business area so there are no cafes or grocery stores nearby. The hotel has a small section in the lobby where you can buy a few food items and drinks. I'm not sure if they serve any other meals other than the buffet.

This was my family’s second stay at this hotel. We love all of the space that it allows our family of three. Having two bathrooms and a pullout couch for my son that separates from the main sleeping area with a pocket door is ideal. The room is very clean and comfortable. This hotel is also very close to the train station. Excellent walkability.

Scandic is perfectly situated to the Hbf and the river, a 5 minute walk to either. It has a great restaurant with an amazing smash burger that is huge with the best fries we’ve had in years, breakfast was plentiful. We had a 15th floor room with city views, the bed and pillows are perfect. We stay one night on our return in June and are thrilled.
