As it is a stone’s throw from the bus and train stations, the shops are mostly eating or drinking places, but lots of shops in the nearby train station again mostly eating places including Macdonalds and Burger King but also ATM’s, banks a post office and even some souvenir shops. Well worth a look around. We also found the local Irish pub O’reilly’s sports bar about ten minutes walk away so we spent a pleasant afternoon there. They do have a good menu although the nachos we ordered were a bit overdone. But to be fair the place was packed due to the six nations rugby game and a football game was on.
Will definitely be returning to this hotel again. Although it is not a swanky modern hotel, more of a traditional hotel, it was very clean and tidy. The cooked breakfast choice did let it down a little as it was quite expensive and wasn’t too hot. But there was a good choice of the usual continental breakfast cold buffet.

Good location for easy travel connection. Big choose from restaurants and bars. Good breakfast, helping staff.
Very noisy in the night, in hotel offer from hotels.com was showed that has a AC, but in fact they are very old and not working. Terrible temperature in the room, from the hotel given to me an AC with water, a fake one, nothing changed, you must to seat over him to feel cooling. The towels and linens change on the 4th day after yout stay and this is only for 110euro..

The location is very convenient and within walking distance from the main train station. The breakfast was good, but the room/s I was able to choose from had the lingering smell of cigarette smokers that had obviously stayed previously. Rooms were well insulated, so sleeping was not an issue.

The property is really close to the train and some bus stations. That is good if you're ok with transitory people. There are lots of people hanging outside of the property. It felt very unsafe. Inside it could use a real dusting. The carpet needs a good cleaning.

Hotel is close to the train station. The breakfast was simple, but good.
We needed a band aid for a small cut. The front desk gave us a first aid kit, which was filled with all sort of first aid papers but nothing to stop, clean or treat a cut or any other small medical issue.
All the lights of one of the rooms on the 6th floor were not working.
The gentlemem who did the check in was friendly. The gentlemen who handled our stored luggage in the afternoon was not friendly at all. Somewhat grumpy.
Hotel was too expensive.

Great location, good free breakfast

The room was on the smaller side, but that was fine given that we were just there to sleep. The bathroom was very big compared to most bathrooms in European hotels. My only gripe was that housekeeping knocked over my contact lens case and lost part of it - I think it may have fallen into the trash and they threw it away. Checking in was easy and the free breakfast in the morning was a great way to start the day. Especially the day we left - we didn’t have to worry about finding food on the way to the airport.

Please avoid this hotel if possible.

Aged hotel. Furnitures and facilities are outdated. Small and dark rooms. No hot water during our stay. Some staffs at the front desk are not friendly. The only advantage is within walking distance to the Frankfurt Central station.

Great location, wonderful stay

Very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful (eggs, sausage, breads, meats, cheeses, fruit cocktail, juice and yogurt). Easy 15 minute walk to Old Town and the grocery store is just a few streets away. Parking is underground and is 15 euro/day. The manager was very helpful and kind.

Hotel very close to alot of construction

We had three different rooms as on arrival we were given a room with three single beds in it and no room to manoeuvre. We had booked a double and were moved immediately, but the noise outside from construction woke us at 6.30 and we asked for another room and were given one immediately.
The staff were helpful and breakfast was good
There is a fridge in the rooms, but no kettle though there is a temperamental machine in reception at €1 a cup.
For those who have not visited Frankfurt recently, it is very expensive, busy, dirty with a considerable amount of asylum seekers and rough sleepers

The hotel was good for a quick stay in Frankfurt. It wasn't too far of a walk from the old town walk platz which had plenty of restaurants and shops. The parking was limited and tight. Wifi was a little slow at times.

We were arriving late by train and needed a place to stay for the night until we picked up our car the following day at the train station. The location was fantastic for that. It was a short walk from the train station and reception was great. The Family room was perfect and we really enjoyed the large balcony off our Room. No complaints and would definitely stay again.

The Hotel is near the central station but the area is not very nice. When I book the hotel it says that it has an air conditioning but when we got there it was not working it was hot in the room during the day, when I complained about it they said that it was broken and they gave me a fan instead. I won't stay in this hotel again.

Fine for a short stay

I was happy with my one night stay at Hotel Minerva. The room was clean and quiet. The included buffet breakfast was good. Some previous reviews have complained about marginal wifi service, but I found the service to be quite acceptable. I was a little taken aback by the high price (~ 220€) of the room, but the prices of all the hotels in the area were very high on the date of my stay.

I was staying overnight in Frankfurt and made some friends in the city: the hotel was me trying something new. It was clean spacious and I found it to have a decent location. However, I made sure to book a room with wifi and unfortunately I had no access to wifi in my Room even after I brought it up to them they did not have a solution. Bothersome in that aspect but it's fine overall.

The hotel is close to train station. Room is clean. There are good breakfast in the morning. But the wifi is very poor in the room.
Another problem need to mention is when we checked in around 10 pm, we were told the inside parking lot need to be reserved in advance, which is not advised when we booked the hotel. Yet its settled since there is still parking places along the streets.

Pretty good train-station hotel

This hotel was good for our purposes, which was for taking excursions on the train and getting to the airport. Considering that the location is so near the main train station, it was fine.. better than some others we saw. However, if you're looking for a destination-hotel, this one probably wouldn't be the best fit. The room could have used some updates, but was basically clean and equipped. The breakfast wasn't fancy, but was decent.

Some basics missing

The Minerva Hotel was very close to the railway station which was useful. The neighbourhood was a bit rough but typical of a station zone in any big city. The room did not have a fridge and there was no facilities to make tea and coffee.

Not fancy but plenty comfortable and inviting. Maybe because I was coming off a trip in Barcelona at a very impressive 4 star but I left very happy. Breakfast included and was also very good. 3 minute walk from central station made this a no brainer. Priced well too. Next to nice Irish pub and another small local tavern so everything you need very close.

On the good side of the Train Station

Many reviewers have complained about other hotels near Hauptbanhof. Hotel Minerva does not have such problems. Comfortable stay, great breakfast. It took them a couple days to get the internet fixed on my floor; service varies by floor. No other complaints. I arrived by train from the airport, and left by inter-city train. Very smooth transportation hub, with easy access to Hotel Minerva outside the South exit.

帰国前日に1泊した。駅近、バスターミナル至近。立地はとてもよく、部屋が広めで荷物をひろげやすくてくよかった。冷蔵庫が壊れていたのでフロントに言ったところ、壊れているのがわかっているのにこの部屋を割り当てたとのこと、冷蔵庫も部屋も替えもないので、バーの冷蔵庫を使っていいと言われたが、この対応は不誠実。部屋の照明はデスク、ベッドサイド2ヶ所の3ヶ所だが、1つはソケット字体が壊れて点かない。1泊だからとこれはがまん。

Das Hotel liegt nahe beim Hbf. Zimmer ist geräumig. Die Sauberkeit ließ zu wünschen übrig (schimmeliger Duschvorhang, Teppichboden nicht ordentlich gesaugt). Am meisten hat mich aber geärgert, dass die Bedienung im Restaurant Kuchen, den Gäste nicht gegessen hatten, mit bloßen Händen auf das Buffet zurücklegte. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist ok.

L’hôtel est bien situé proche de la gare.
Beaucoup de bruit lorsque les fenêtres sont ouvertes. Lors de mon séjour côté fenêtre il y a avait des gens qui faisait la fetes, des enfants s’amusaient dans l’hôtel.
La chambre a du potentiel mais a besoin d’un bon rafraîchissement.
Le lit n’est pas confortable et usé.
La propreté n’est pas là, beaucoup de poussière, la moquette n’est pas propre.
Traces dans les toilettes, une serviette déjà utilisée au dessus du lavabo, le bas du rideau de douche est sale.
Dommage car les équipements de la SDB sont nickel, il faut juste refaire les joints au niveau de la douche.
Le propriétaire de l’hôtel devrait investir pour la rénovation des chambres.
