The rooms were adequate but the air conditioning was not!
We particularly enjoyed the quick walk to the train and tour bus stations.
Several cafes and dining spots just steps away. And, the tree lined street was a bonus.
The staff could not have been more hospitable. They were very helpful and welcoming.

I had a pleasant stay at the Bristol Hotel Zurich. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They provided excellent recommendations for places to visit in the city and kindly upgraded my room, which made my stay even more enjoyable.

The breakfast offered a good variety of options, catering to different tastes and preferences. The hotel’s location was also convenient for exploring Zurich.

I would also like to thank Expedia for making the booking process smooth and straightforward.

Overall, a very positive experience, and I would happily stay here again.

They were kind about storing our luggage when our room wasn’t ready (we arrived early). They also gave us a room upgrade and we had a large room for us and our adult sons. Quiet and comfortable place to sleep. Located in good walking distance to lots of restaurants and Old Town.

Yvonne in the Dining Room was highly attentive to all. She keeps everything equipped and in order. We had indeed paid for breakfast upon checking in the day before, but when we showed up, she showed us that we did not appear to have paid for breakfast. She let us have it anyway. I did go to the front desk to make sure we did and they confirmed it and I brought the vouchers to her. She was very nice and professional as a 25 year hospitality pro. I wish her the best!

Great hotel with very friendly staff! The Swiss standard for hotels is very high so the rooms are cleaned everyday, and complimentary water is provided (although the tap water is good to drink). Breakfast is cold (no bacon etc). The hotel has 4 private car bats which can be a little confusing to get to and costs 20 CHF a day, laundry is 15 CHF per load and is ready in about 6 hours. Overall the hotel was great, very convenient, about a 5 minute walk from the train station and near so decent restaurants/kebab shops.

Great spot - very close to the train station , quiet , comfortable bed . We took the budget double room & it was perfect -
spacious shower , space for 2 suitcases. Delightful staff gave us an early check in as the room was available so we could shower after our long flight from Australia .

The Bristol is near a tram stop (Stampfenbachstrasse) with frequent service from Zurich's main train station (Sihlquai entrance). Coming from the airport, you would be outside under a minute in bad weather. The property is well kept. The staff is knowledgeable and very helpful. Breakfast is limited variety, but the bread and pastries are very fresh. Would definitely stay there again.

Front desk staff are amazing - Sarah, Vanessa and Roman.

Did not get the staff member name on the breakfast area and she was just as amazing.

Rooms are clean, nice size. Windows opened to get fresh air on the cool spring nights. Quiet area as far as vehicles. Some young folks out late at night talking but not too long or loud.

Bed and linens were especially comfortable.
Bath towels not so much ☹️

Not a fan of the all in one products for shower, hand, body and hair shampoo product. This one was really nice though. Bring your own products if you prefer to have something other than the all in one.

Great location, easy to walk down the side of the river to the lake. A lot of places to eat and shop.

Very close to train and bus stations.

We loved our stay at the Bristol Hotel.

Hotel is very close to main train station so it very easy to get around the city. The only downside is that the AC will only work if it gets 24 degrees celcius and more in the room. I'm use to sleep when it is a bit colder so I had to open the windows

The hotel is somewhat dated but not in a way that would hugely affect your stay. The room we had was large, enough room for two grown women to enjoy, the bathroom was great, it was warm and the staff were always friendly and helpful! The location was great for everything we wanted as a couple of friends exploring the city! One day a towel we were given seemed a little dirty, but this was quickly rectified (they brought us new towels almost instantly). It is not luxurious but it is clean, comfortable and close to the main station! Couldn’t have asked for anything more considering what we paid! Breakfast was fairly basic (drinking machines for tea/coffee, fresh orange juice, some breads, cheese and meats, yogurts, etc.). My friend enjoyed the coffee, I’m not massively a breakfast person and so didn’t really go after the second day, but it didn’t bother me.

The hotel is fine for its star rating, and conveniently located. One wishes that the breakfast was a bit more versatile, same old salami every day. One also wishes that the staff in the breakfast room were a bit more friendly - one of them started carrying my coat and backpack (without asking for permission) since she thought I was occupying the table that was too large for one person. Not very nice.

Hotel Bristol is such a cute little hotel - it very much gives hostel vibes while still getting the hotel service. It is a very close walk to the center location of this area. The beds were very comfortable and check in was smooth. Our room was cute and spacious. Would highly recommend this hidden little gem!

I love staying at the hotel Bristol in Zürich. It’s close to the main train station and museum. You can jump on trams too. It’s next to a lovely pastry and sandwich shop for breakfast and lunch. And the staff are exceptional. I can’t wait to come back again.
