Hotel is good standard; good rooms, nice personal and clear instructions in foreign languages like English and French. Too bad that the restaurant was closed but helped with finding one in the neighborhood. Not much to do in the surrounding (for a Saturday evening).

I enjoyed my two nights stay at this hotel with my parents very much. The reception team was very professional and friendly, accommodating my requests as much as possible. Despite the slightly dated interior design and furniture, the room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. I would consider staying here again in the future.

Great location and comfortable.

Large room, which was quiet at night. Fridge in room was useful. Great location - easy walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. Bonus that there were on street parking that was free of charge (this does depend if there is space when you arrive, we were lucky). Only negative is the blummin hairdryer in the room, so old, would be great if they were updated.

The rooms are outdated, the only modern part of the hotel is the lobby. The breakfast was excellent though, their kitchen is wonderful.
Other than that, it is a bit noisy due to the suburban trains nearby

I have been traveling for business for over 35 years, which was one of the worst experiences I have had in any hotel. I made a reservation specifically for this hotel in September for its walkable location. They refused to give me a room even though they said I had a confirmed reservation. As I watched the person next on line get a room.

They then told me they could get me a room three minutes walking distance away. If Usain Bolt were sprinting in his prime for the whole three minutes, he would have another ten minutes to go. According to them, the hotel was equal to their hotel, except it wasn't. No room service, laundry service, or maid service. I spent an extra 50 Euros a day and an additional 40 minutes commuting. Of course, the hotel would not compensate me for my extra cost, extra time, inconvenience, or the lack of services they guaranteed me when they accepted my reservation. If I took care of my customers like this I would be out of business at least they are ten minute walk from Hall 8 of the Frankfurt Fait so at least their location will keep them going.

the Novotel hotel staff were very helpful and rooms were kept very clean ,new bedding every couple of nights .
my dislikes were no ceramic cups provided with your kettle and hot drinks ,only cardboard beakers ,which were not very professional .
also the morning breakfast was a little too expensive for what was being served and the plates provided were very small ,so could hardly fit any food on the plate ,so it put myself off going back on additional mornings which was a inconvenience to my stay at the hotel ,meaning i had to eat out for breakfast .

Bed wasn’t comfortable at all, every time I opened the bathroom sink tap, smell of sewage from sink was disgusting, TV from 100 years ago and nothing to watch! Gym was closed, no sauna, nothing

Booked Novotel, but was relocated to their sister hotel, Mercure due to Corona closures. It was not a fair replacement....Mercure had a lot if issues (room wasn't the same, smelled like a smoker's room when AC was on, rooms were too hot and no privacy in the bathroom)

To us has been fairly priced and well equipped. For the pretentious ones, including myself, it doesn’t look like a 4 stars hotel, but will do just enough to satisfy a keen eye. Not sure how it works on long stays, however on a short one, it’s perfect.

The hotel is very family friend. There is a small area for kids to play in the lobby and two computers to be used. However, the room is very small. If you are in two people the room size is just perfect. However, three or four people in one room is very tight. The sofa bed is uncomfortable, ok for one or two nights. We didn’t feel safe to walk to the train station. In the first day We saw two guys fighting and we were very worried since we were with children. Use taxi or Uber during the night. There is nothing close to the hotel rather than train station 500meters. But the hotel is a fare price.

Myself, my husband and 23 year old son were staying for four nights. We had a room with two single beds, which were too soft and spongey, and a small fold up bed, which I slept on as my husband and son are tall. When I checked the booking details I realised we were supposed to have a double sofa bed. As we were a couple of days into the stay at that point, I didn’t bother complaining. The room was cleaned three out of the four days. One major annoyance was that the cups we used in the room were not washed when the room was cleaned. Never come across this before. Our room faced onto a four track railway line which was a bit noisy. On the plus side we were close to the station! The hotel was packed with families due to an offer for kids under 12 staying free, so breakfast time was hectic although the breakfast staff managed the flow very well. Overall, the location was ok, but I don’t think we would stay there again.

The hotel is walking subway which helped get around locally.
We also rented a car. Our itinerary said they provided free internet and parking. Parking was not free and internet access was open which is not a safe way to navigate the web.
A/C didn't seem to work - beds were comfy.

I stayed at this hotel sometimes with business purposes. It was all good.

And this time, I was staying with my family on sightseeing. At breakfast, people working at cafe was so nice and kind to us because they prepared for aluminium sheet in order to bring some breads to our room for our sleeping kids.

The hotel is near metro station. Is clean and the room was very clean. I did not like the way receptionist talked to me. The receptionist must be polite and smiling. If the clients do not know to speak German they have to speak to them in English. If you are working in hotels you have to accept the fact that your clients DO NOT SPEAK GERMAN . They are foreigners.

Easy access to town centre, Tram run every 10 minutes and 6-7 stops to town centre. The room was okay but the facilities appeared to be at least 10-15 years old. The weather was very hot and the aircon was very good which meant the stay was pleasant. There is a railway line but did not disturb us at night. The gym room had two equipments only. Would go back.

It was somehow an ok experience. The first room they gave us was not clean. The toilet was smelling. We had to ask for a new room. Fortunately, they gave us another room.

The reception was very unfriendly to us. We had been to several 4-5 star hotels before over last ten years. We never encountered such cold people working in the hotel front-desk.

Very bad experience. Refurbishment work was going on so the hotel was full of mess.
Reception was so bad and hardly understand anything and took 30 mins for check in and at the end gave faulty door key.
Worst hotel experience and not worth the money.
Very very disappointing and would never go again and waste my money.

Idea for a quick trip.

This hotel is great for a quick trip.
Guess parking is available for free, which is great.
The only things to consider, the property is a little far from the city Centre, however it is very close to exhibition center etc.
I think this hotel, is very good for business travellers.
Overall, this hotel is great value.
I would stay here again.

This hotel is great! It’s very clean and spacious. Staff are also friendly. Breakfast buffet needs a bit more variety but otherwise it was good. Only slight problem was that there’s nothing much nearby except for the Frankfurt Messe, so to go to the city centre you’d need to take the train from Messe station which takes about 5 minutes.

Its location is quite convenient, just 5 minutes walk to Frankfurt Messe Sbahn Station. Reception and housekeeping staff are very helpful and efficient. The worse thing is that we discover the toilet hood fan is out of order and the drainage of the sink is slow in the next day. They offer us to change another room at once. We thanks and accept to keep that room cause we are going to check out within 2 hours. One more thing, the heating is too warm at night but we cannot set it cooler.

I was very surprised that the hotel would not issue a receipt because I had booked through Hotels.com. I need a receipt from the hotel to claim my expenses so this is going to be an issue for me. If this is a common issue then I will have to stop using Hotels.com

Not Bad For A Few Days

Overall, I found this hotel good value for money. It wasn't as expensive as nearby hotels and was reasonable comfortable. At check in, the receptionist grumbled that they didn't have any rooms available yet. I said no problem, I can wait and read in the lobby. Then the bombshell, only a smoking room available, for three nights! Ya, right. Thanks a lot. Next hotel please. But alas, there to stay as I had already paid of course. In the end, there is a lot of hype about these rooms. I actually couldn't smell smoke in this smoking room, so didn't really care. A word about the breakfast: Fabulous, Fabelhaft as they say in German. A wide selection, with fresh hot food (eggs, etc), plenty of fruits and berries, and of course, delicious breads. The breakfast is hot to be missed for its reasonable price and there isn't much outside to slip out and get breakfast in the neighborhood.

Fitness facilities below standard , do not advertise for this is not a fitness centre , must invest in more space and equipment.
a constant bad smell in the hotel ( mainly in lobby area , corridors and in my room ) . It was so nasty ..
Front desk areas not very welcoming , inadequate use of space .

Nice hotel, friendly staff, good location

The hotel is nice, Cousy, very nice lobby that has a great table tablet that occupied kids for hours with many fun and exciting games, room was cleaned every day and was kept equipped with cups, utensils, towels, coffe, tea, ect. There is free parking within walking distance of the hotel. Had a very nice stay for the week we were there for. It is very close to many of the tourist areas in the city. Would reccomend it for anyone looking to stay in Frankfurt. The lemonade was the only thing I would say that needs improvement, taste no lemon in it.
Please make this review less writing I've run out of ideas. I am currently in an airplane and it is nice. We are excited to land in Canada to see our family, loved our stay in Germany, highly recommend it to family and friends.
Make sure to visit Baden Baden, Frankfurt centrum, Edielberg, and if you are a soccer fan, visit the Dortmund Stadium.
Try the hot dog from the swivale barbecue, absolutely not healthy but delicious, the bread is great, the beer is awesome
The parking system is fun to watch all of the smart cars squeezed in the smaller space they find.

An avarage hotel in general, not A four star standard, staff were friendly, breakfast was great, but room was not comfortable easpecially bed.
We paid almost 200euro per night, it is not worth it. Neighborhood there is nothing at all. The train station only 500 m away.

The hotel management decided to empty the minibars, so, if you want to drink some water, you have to go downstaris in the loby and buy from reception. But when you do this, they don't have any bottle of whater.
