The staff could not have been more helpful and accomodating. They made two Canadian women feel like they were coming back home after being out. Every shift we met was as good as the one before. Clean staff were courteous. Front desk were the best staff of other hotels we've stayed at.

Its really more of a motel vs a hotel. Its not the 4 star as its advertised. Right out of the 80s and bad air-conditioning. Breakfast isnt comparable to any 3 star hotel in the US. The only plus point here are the front desk staff who are helpful. Hotel desparately needs a renovation.

Perfect location, beautiful view during breakfast, room cleanliness is very good as well as the quality of bed linen etc which are signs of a 4 star hotel however the hotel certainly needs a refurb. Its 20 if not 30 years old equiment, wallpaper that is coming off or window, that don't really close...

Terrible, Danger, Dirty, and Scary

First sight, in front of Hotel, laying a line of homeless, asking for changes or something, follows you to the hotel door. As soon you walked into the hotel, it's hostel feeling, for sure the cheap, smelly, dirty, old, terrible environment. The moment you got the room key, physical actual key, you would have to think to leave. When you walk into the room, OMG, the carpet is dirtier than outside, everything is worse than a hostel in other country, the toilet is broken, and they call it 4 stars?
Immediately called front desk, and got response as it's normal in Italy, it's Italian style. Struggled for 6 hours to deal with front desk, they refused to do anything, due to the reason of it seems clean, fashion, stylish, luxury, and those homeless people were the Urban characteristics in Italy??????????

Great location, lovely bathroom, really spacious. The electric shutter blinders was a nice addition.

Main gripe for me was the fact that the air con was taped over above the door. The air con by the window was not working well so at night it was really hot. The room itself is in need of a refurbishment, I can appreciate the style but it’s really dated.

Great Location For Duomo

Hotel location is great, 5 minute walk to Duomo. The hotel is old fashioned but sparkling clean and very comfortable. There was no fault in the hotel at all. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Milan and wants to be close the Duomo. The breakfast was good also, please note that you will have to stand at the counter to be served. There isn’t table service as you need to choose what you want from the buffet. Staff in the restaurant was great. Overall, I would stay here again. The price for the location is amazing.

Ac wasn’t working and all was dated….it was so old that some parts were falling off specially on the bathroom counter.
One sink was clogged as well.They need to invest more money on maintenance.

The one good thing about the hotel was the proximity to Duomo and Galeria. It was an outdated, overheated and terribly noisy place since we could not turn off the heat we had to open windows, and were repeatedly disturbed throughout the night by loud garbage trucks, street sweeper and construction. If you value your sleep stay somewhere else. The rooms were large so if the hotel invested un updating it could have potential. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel location is well within walking distance of the key attractions in Milan Zone 1 from the Duomo di Milano (7 mins walk) to the Castello Sforzesco (20 mins at an easy pace) and everything inbetween.

The room was tired (peeling wallpaper, faded green/brown colours) and dated but it was spotlessly clean and reflected a bygone era with some quaint features like a tv/radio control built into a wall panel - which didn't work but looked interesting.

The restaurant had been refurbished since the 1970s and the breakfast was very nice if a little limited in terms of choice.

The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is spot on so central and just 10 minutes from the Dumo area. Yes the hotel has seen better days but it’s clean and well kept and has everything you need and I quite like the ‘vintage ‘ style of hotel in Europe when I am on a short city break . Breakfast had a good selection only negative was the way it was served, you had to point to what you be wanted , which to be fair made more work for the staff. This could have been something from Covid perhaps. I would recommend this hotel and stay here again.

Only positive of this place is the location

I feel bad leaving a bad review about the staff because about half of our interactions were good and staff was friendly and helpful, but the other half was completely terrible. I wish I had gotten the names of the staff members that salvaged the experience from the unkind and unhelpful staff we were greeted by.

This was a short business trip. Not much time in the hotel and the only meal was breakfast, which was excellent. Good choice with fresh meat, cheese, fruit and veg. Evening drinks in the bar were very pleasant with a very professional and entertaining barman. My room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The decor and fittings are showing signs of age, however, so it felt a little tired. Great location, close to the Duomo.

I m here on a work trip, 14 nights, I was not happy with my room, spoke with the managers , try to change it several time, nothing - the beds are so hard you wake up with back pain and neck pain, the room is small and old, dark with cover windows so is hard to look outside - overall the only good thing here is the location, right behind the duomo - but i want to cancel my last 2 nights and they won't let me :(

This hotel is so old and is a terrible place to be at. The location is good but there are other hotels around too. This hotel is definitely not 4 star like it claims to be, it is definitely 2 star. It is unrenovated from 40 years, it has everything cheap and nasty. Do not believe the photos that this hotel pretends to be or their false star rating.

Terribly old condition and outdated rooms / furniture probably from 70s. Old stained Bathroom Tiles.
No kitchen room service on weekends.

Great location and staff!

But unfortunately I was victim to Bed Bugs on Day 1 from my initially assigned room. Was moved to an alternate room and didn't experience any further bites. But unfortunately the damage was done and slept nervously the rest of the week.

Great location, but not recommended.

The positive aspects: GREAT staff and service. very friendly and accommodating. Great location.
However, many poor aspects. The rooms have barely been touched since 1972. Bed is a glorified cot on castors that cannot be locked. the bed moves freely. mattress is hard and pillows are harder. Toilet did not flush. Altogether, i stayed in the hotel for 7 days on a business trip. Will not stay here gain.

Great central location with attentive staff

Came to Milan for the Jazz fest and loved the central location of the hotel. It's right in the thick of things and the staff was attentive and friendly every time I came in and out, no matter how late. And there were always multiple people there to help. I had a fine stay. Although there are more up-to-date hotels in the area, this one hits a perfect price point for the location. If I wanted a romantic getaway or if I wanted to impress someone, I'd probably find something else. But this is a very practical hotel for the price.

Everything was fine, until I went to check out. I was charged five euros per person, per night for a tourist charge. I was not aware of that from anything on the website prior to that. We also had the hotel arrange for a car to take us to and from the airport and were told that it was €95. But we were never told that it had to be cash.
