The room itself was beautiful with an amazing view of the gallery. Completely soundproof. And decorated tastefully. The staff were incredible as well. They consistently made themselves available for questions and assistance (even when some of the questions were a little dumb). Will absolutely stay here again on our next trip to Milan.

This hotel is part of the arcade. You need to know that because at night it gets quite loud. However, you’re quite literally on top of everything! So it’s super convenient. The room we had was a loft style and the bed area was *unbearably hot* and I am usually freezing when I sleep so it wasn’t me! We had to open the doors that lead to the arcade just so we could breathe. With that came the noise. The hotel is immaculate. The room was a decent size. The bathroom was lovely. At the end of our trip it took them over 30 minutes to get our car. That was frustrating. When we inquired about breakfast we were treated like paupers because we “booked through Expedia” Well as Platinum Expedia members we are entitled to certain upgrades which we did not get. For the price point of this property I would not stay here again. Also for what it’s worth if you’re traveling with kids the walls are wallpapered nude bodies of both genders.

Why did I have to pre-check in all my personal details & passport photos when you still want to see them & take copies? It’s a waste of my time & doesn’t speed things up. Left bags with concierge & returned to pick up “key” at 5pm. Reception staff were unwelcoming. I waited for one to become available & was quickly asked what I wanted. Politely explained I just wanted to pick up key & was rudely told “sit there & wait” when all I did was respond to the question I was asked. Staff member then continued a long friendly conversation with someone else, when giving me my key would have taken 5 seconds given we’d already checked in. When we finally got the key code & room number we found the bags had not been taken to our room as promised & had to go down & ask, then wait a further 20 minutes Safe was broken. I understands & like most of the quirky art work but fake blood splashes all over the toilet walls is too much.
Style over substance & I will not be spraying again.

The location is excellent if you want to be close to the Duomo! It is a 5 minute walk from there. To get there you pass through the major shopping district. Hotel is well renovated but the real steal is the price in an area where rooms go for 3-4x/ night.

The room(322)despite being clean and spraying cologne to get rid of the smell of sewage it still smelled horrible everytime we opened the bathroom door. We kept that door mostly closed but the area and the hotel had really good placement of the surrounding area to do shopping and dining.

The building is old, we check in late and we got the last room that smell stinky of cigarette. It’s not the room that i booked. We have no choice so we stayed in that room for a night and move to the rooftop room the next day, without a view but better.

We were in Milan specifically to see The Last Supoer and The Duomo. This modern hotel was very conveniently located. The staff and room were excellent. Since we had to leave super early the next morning, they made us “to go” Breakfast Boxes. Definitely recommend them for anyone going to Milan, especially if you enjoy modern art. And the Galleria is a 5 minute walk!

Lobby is very small on the ground floor.
Reception area is on the first floor and extremely small.
Carpet on the second floor (the floor of our room) was very dirty and torn in many places.
Room: we stayed at Grand Palace
Cheap, old and dirty furniture and rug is old and dirty.
Air conditioning: no control panel. The first day we were cold. The second and third day we were sweating.
Electrical switch: one only controls the lights. 3 small lights. In the ceiling only.
No phone system. You have to use WhatsApp to communicate with the front desk.
Nothing in this place is 5 stars; barely 3 stars
Cheap labor of unprofessional people makes you wonder who gave this place 5 stars!!
You feel disappointed and deceived the whole time especially you pay large nightly rate.
Location is good but there are several other hotels in the same area.
This is definitely a place to avoid and find another real hotel in the same neighborhood!

Galleria Vic Milano is an excellent, world class hotel! My husband and I had a magnificent stay and really loved our room (we stayed in one of the Terrace rooms). The staff is excellent, so kind, helpful and welcoming. We were celebrating our 32nd anniversary and they had a wonderful bottle of Prosecco waiting for us in the room when we arrived. Everything in the room is top notch (they even had the best Frette body sheets and towels in the bathroom and excellent bath products) and very clean. Everything in the minibar is complimentary which is a great perk that we rarely see. There’s an AMAZING upscale pizzeria on the 5th floor of the hotel called I Dodici Gatti Pizzeria that we loved and visited twice during our stay. Shoutout to Francesco in the restaurant for making us feel so welcome and like old friends! We truly enjoyed our stay and recommend the Vik Milano most highly!!

The hotel is located in the best area. The Galleria shopping mall and all the best tourist attractions are within walking distance. However, they are doing construction and you hear noise all day long starting from 7:30 AM. One evening we heard Construction as late as 11:30 PM.

They put me in a room next to a construction site with no double glazing.
The first night I was woke up by noise in the construction site at 24:30 and the second night at 2:00am by the same noise.
Then the full construction site started working each morning at 7:00am and kept going all day with jackhammering. I couldn’t even have a work phone call in the room.

To top this up late at night I could hear very loud noise from the corridor because the room are very poorly insulated.

I had a short stay from Nov 6-8 and wished I stayed longer. Such a fabulous location, great view and attentive service. Check in was a breeze and the concierge gave me two helpful maps for my stay At first, I was a bit weary about using the WhatsApp number vs a hotel phone - but it actually works out better as you can ask questions whenever. I was able to request an ironing board, help with the iron (I didn't have the dial properly adjusted) and room service. When I got back home, I realized I forgot to pack a dress and the concierge was able to locate it for me and they are sending it back via DHL this week.

Property needs updating. Bathroom has visible mildew and mold plus shower had no pressure. Visible other repairs needed like door handle loose, screws loose paint fading. Also propert next door under renovation so constant noise during the day starting at 7.30 Am! Way too early!! Not acceptable

I booked this hotel just for the view and then at the check in I was shocked that they have rooms without a view and this is the room they gave me and when i told them that there’s nothing mentioned on Expedia about rooms without a view, they said “you shouldn’t booked it with Expedia then!”

This was so far the best designed room. It had a beautiful lay out, very spacious. It had very high ceiling and beautiful pictures. The bathroom was also one of a kind. However, there were plenty of the mosquitoes ( ten of them), the windows were closed because it would face construction and dust. Breakfast was insanely good and the service in the restaurant was incredible. I forgot to mention that the mattress and the bedding was for six stars hotels!!!!

An art lovers paradise! This place was like staying in an art museum! My room was very spacious, with gorgeous Instagramable views of the Galleria! The lady at reception, gave us some really great options of place to go, & eat in the area! I wish they had a full length mirror in my room somewhere. Also, was no iron in the room, so I contacted reception through WhatsApp and in 5 mins… someone was knocking on my door. This was amazing, because I’ve stayed in expensive hotels that, when you call downstairs, you still had to wait 20 mins for someone to bring you what you requested. All in all, I wish I had more time to spend at the hotel, & I wish I tried more of the food, & bar… however, what I did experience I was very impressed with! Oh yeah, my bed was very soft.. to those of you are concerned with soft beds, like my girlfriend is.

I really don’t like to give negative reviews when the staff was super friendly and helpful, but the overall state of the hotel is definitely not a 5 star hotel. 3.5 star at best. It is honestly insulting to other 5 star hotels for this hotel to be in same category. AC not working properly. Room service has to be ordered by whatsapp? Very out dated facilities.

I stayed at this hotel in 2019 when it first opened, and due to covid, have only just been able to come and visit again now. It has not changed and it does not disappoint. It location is amazing, the rooms are lovely - I have always had a view overlooking the shops. The breakfast is lovely and the artwork in the hotel, particularly the restaurant is just amazing. It is ilke having breakfast in an art gallery. The staff are very friendly and always helpful on both of my visits. I love the hotel so much that I am staying there again at the end of the month. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Milan.

You get to this so called “5 star hotel” however the rooms come with no TV which is unacceptable in a hotel of this class. TVs are provided upon request. The valley service is a ripoff, if you leave your car just 1 hour you will be charged 65 euros. Staff was not professional and not pleasant. The hotel has a great location but would recommend trying a different one close by in the gallery.

The property was absolutely gorgeous! The view of the Galleria was amazing too. The room was beautiful, the artwork was museum worthy and the bathroom was huge. Only down-side was that is was rather noisy at night, especially in the bathroom. I think more soundproofing is needed. Other than that, the stay was really great.

Checked in early at 10am left our bags and went shopping, returned after 3 that was check in time. My room was not ready, went to bar waited 20 minutes and nobody came. Went back down to insist on my room. At 3;45 people checked out of the room I had assigned so then had to wait for cleaning to take place. I had early flight next morning and no service. The porter expected to take a photocopy of my credit card and passport to charge later. Ended paying in cash as had bad vibes from procedure. Room was nice.

Paid $2000.00 per night for cockroaches in the room, no tv, no hot water, the bathroom had a small mirror large and no other mirror in the room after we told the front desk about the cockroach I. The bathroom and showed him a video the only response was we will have the cleaning people go and take a look. Better service and rooms for 100 euros! The only good thing was the galleria. I do t recommend this to anyone!
