The nicest most attentive staff one could meet. Bedroom and bathroom were superb as was the buffet breakfast. Position near the Duomo and the excellent shopping streets was a huge bonus.
Two small matters that need addressing: the freestanding magnifying mirror in the bathroom falls short of the standard expected. Its magnification is very low and one has to bend down to look in the mirror. There is lots of lighting in the room but no low level lighting to visit the bathroom safely in the night.

MAGNIFICENT STAY AT ONE OF ITALY'S VERY BEST!!!

One of the best hotels in Italy. For our anniversary trip, we toured Europe for 2 weeks, and the Park Hyatt Milan stands out from the rest. The staff and facility at the Park Hyatt Milano are exceptional. It's located in the heart of the chic Galleria and just next door to the famed Duomo. A short walk to all the fashionista shopping areas. But the room was beyond exceptional. Notably, the bedroom and bath area exude the ultra fashionable vibe that Milan is known for. They were stunning! The staff was incredible, treating us like royalty, literally walking us to recommended restaurants in the area. We were constantly greeted by their professional staff throughout our stay. And did I mention that \"killer\" bath area? Just can't commend them enough for a wonderful stay.

We just completed a two night stay at this hotel. Wow! What an incredible experience! The Park Hyatt Milan is now one of our favorite places we've ever stayed. Upon check-in, we were upgraded to a Junior Suite (thanks Amex Platinum); the room is very spacious and stunning! Every staff member went above and beyond to be helpful and make our stay as special and memorable as possible. We were joyously greeted at all times and the staff made us feel like it was genuinely their pleasure to help us. We were so comfortable in our room and throughout the hotel. The hotel is centrally located right in the center of town. We absolutely loved this hotel and cannot recommend it highly enough. Bottom line - you are missing out on one of life's greatest pleasures if you do not stay here. We're looking forward to our return!

We travelled to Milan from Toronto for a few days and decided to stay here. The Park Hyatt Milano exceeded our expectations in any area. Very clean, helpful staff, comfortable rooms, and the location close to the Galleria and city centre simply cannot be beat. Highly recommend!

Good service, outdated toilet!

Good service and good location but not great, very crowded area since it is close to the Duomo. We personally prefer the luxury shopping area (montanapleone) which is more relaxed and quiet compared to duomo area. Room is not nicely decorated (the wardrobe is inside the bathroom). Also, toilet is very outdated, reminds me of my university dorm! The corridors are dull and dark which feels like a dorm as well! Lobby area is however nice and fresh. But overall, good service and clean room, very welcoming (they put chocolate everyday in the room which is nice).

Amazing hotel! It’s very nice and modern, and the staff are absolutely amazing. The bar is great, as are their speciality cocktails. We didn’t eat at the hotel because VUN Andrea Aprea, their two-Michelin-Stars restaurant was closed for the week. The location of this hotel could not be better - right at the Duomo and Galleria, among other things. Our room as very nice and big with nice views. (And the bathroom was huge compared to most hotel standards) All in all, a great hotel that’s worthy of it’s 5 Star rating - we will be back!

Excellence manifested in every aspect

Everything about this hotel is amazing. The location, the condition of the property, the helpfulness of the staff, the rooms are huge, the bathrooms are the biggest I’ve ever scene in Europe and easily the largest of any non-suite room I’ve ever stayed in anywhere in the world. My wife, daughter and I stayed here comfortably and were never in each other’s way. The location is half a block from the Duomo. Every staff person was courteous and gave the impression that they were truly interested in ensuring you had a great stay. Absolutely loved our stay there. Highly recommend.

Nice position but fails on service

I would not recommend this hotel to others. In terms of service they are weak. Requests were placed with Consierge and they were either not followed up, or simply did not provide enough attention to detail (disinterested). There were 3 keys instances that shocked me as to how poor they handled their clients. The breakfast staff are not very friendly or courteous. I decided to go to another 5 star hotel for breakfast and food service. This other hotel made me feel welcome. Its a shame for them as I have just established business links in Milan and London.

I dont have much more to say, other than the position of the hotel is wonderful and the door staff are fantastic!! But they are not a very happy bunch. Serious and frank feedback.

This hotel is very conveniently located in the center and is within walking distance to pretty much everything. The hotel is overall excellent but a bit old and dated which is seen from the bathroom sinks, toilet seat and tiles, and the stained carpet in the room. However, it's certainly a 5 star quality hotel with very attentive staff and service.

Park Hyatt Milan well surpassed our high expectations.
Staff were genuinely helpful from arrival to check out.
Room had been refurbished recently to a high standard and extremely comfortable modern and well designed.
Generally faultless stay
We spent much of our time out so didn't eat at the hotel other than room service for breakfast which was very good and good value.
The hotel location really is perfect. Most days we called back at the hotel for a break from the nearby shopping and attractions. Very convenient.
Thank you and no question we will return.

Exquisite and exotic!

By way of background, we are a well-travelled couple and we hold gold cards for a no. of other international hotels. There was a very minor incident in the fridge when we checked in and when we reported it, the management and staff were extremely apologetic to us and hugely compensated us for it beyond our wildest imagination. My wife and I thought they were very nice, kind and generous. They also sent us a couple of written apologies, which to us, went a long way to commend the hotel further to us. All the staff were extremely nice and friendly. We made up our minds the Park Hyatt is the hotel to be in Milan and we will try them elsewhere. We shall surely return. We are also telling all our friends who care to listen. Many thanks to the excellent team.

One day we got a driver to take us to como, by the time we left the hotel we found out he speaks no English:) the concierge didn't care at all when we reported back...not even a sorry and I am a Hyatt gold member.

We stayed at the Hyatt for 5 nights at the end of April and were extremely happy. It is a bit pricy, but the location and elegance made up for that. The concierge was extremely helpful and made all of our reservations from dinner to taxis. Any time we asked for assistance they were right there to help. The first night, we actually asked for directions to the restaurant and they walked us all the way through Duomo Square to the restaurant! The housekeeping staff always seemed to come at the wrong time, but they did a very good job on keeping the room clean. We had asked for an upgrade, however, due to the fact that we were checking in at 6:30 am, we took the room we booked which was already available to us. It was a regular standard room and was still large enough to be comfortable and beautiful. We would definitely consider staying here again when we return to Milano.

You will not be disappointed. We were there in March. Hotel was top notch. Clean, comfortable, large room. Bathroom with large shower and separate bath tub, also toilet was separate. Luxurious towels, robes, and soaps. On two occasions, we were surprised with a bottle of wine and some amuse bouche in the room.

The level of service in this hotel surpassed all expectations and all other luxury hotels I've stayed in (including a couple of Four Seasons, which are my gold standard). Friendly, helpful, and accommodating staff--everyone from the concierge to the desk staff to the waiters & bartenders. The room was large, with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was beyond generous, especially for Europe (and especially for a New Yorker like me). I enjoyed a long hot bath in the wonderfully deep tub.

I myself had screwed up my reservation date, and while I was obviously fine with having to pay for the night I missed, the hotel accommodated me for the additional night needed by giving me their lowest room rate and then upgrading me to the level of room I had booked. That kind of thing goes a long way toward making guests feel like they're valued. Bravo.

Amazing location and service but rooms are dated. The rooms are pretty old and shows signs of wear and usage. Definitely not worth the price unless, location is your primary objective. The location is perfect and incredible located in the Duomo. It's unfortunate that this is the case

Expensive but worth the extra

A great option if you want to be smack in the middle of shopping at the Vittorio Emannuel Galleriam the Teatro La Scala and the Duomo, with a superb Michelin starred in-house restaurant as an option. The service was impeccable as was the well appointed luxurious room. The conceirge service was remarkably efficient, helpful and on top of the game with excellent restaurant and taxi booking services. All in all, well worth the extra premium paid to stay in one of the city's luxury hotels.
