The hotels asks guests to give them advance notice of their arrival. I gave the hotel the precise minute of my arrival, but there was nobody there to check me in. I called to let them know I had arrived. They came 15 minutes later. If it weren’t for the fact that the place to wait is a dirty tunnel, I might have been less upset about it.

Good: Room was clean. Location excellent. Fair: Elevator starts on the 2nd level so you still need to carry your luggage down/up 1 flight of stairs if no one is there to help you. No staff on site unless you call them. Poor: Water does not stay hot for entire duration of shower. TV had only one US station and it was dubbed in Italian.

This place needs a renovation, a front desk and more cleanliness. Our bathroom was not cleaned and the toilet lid was broken with mold growing on the walls. At arrival, there is no front desk, the entrance is shared with another property and you have to call a number to have someone come give you keys. Save your money and book elsewhere for the same rate. I think the only reason it’s still in business is its proximity to the duomo but Milan is so walkable you can easily stay elsewhere.

The room itself was good but so many other things were not. We had no hot water or electricity for one night of our stay. There is no one on location to get information from and you have to text and wait for a response. We asked to be compensated for one night due to the water and electricity issues and have not been at this time. One night we got back late, opened the outside door to the stair entry and there were two males sitting in the first steps drinking beer. Very uncomfortable to ask to get by them to go upstairs. The location isn’t bad except that you hear street noise all night. The room was clean and nice so once you were in the room, besides the noise, it was comfortable. Still waiting on our refund. It was very worrisome to not have electricity to charge our phones in a different country.

The location is very close to Duomo. However the hot water in the unite ran out in 5 minutes. It's not enough for 2 people to take a shower without running out of hot water. I took the shower with cold water on both nights. The receptionist was rude and not helpful in giving direction to find the place. The guy who checked us in was extremely rude. He made me leave my luggage unattended to go to 2nd floor to pay him. My husband had to stay with the car and could not help me with the luggage. The guy who checked me in did not offer to help me with my 4 pieces of luggage. He just watched me struggling to put luggage in a very tiny elevator without offering any help. I do not recommend this place.

I was really looking forward to our stay here as I was promised over the phone there would be a fridge/freezer I could use (I’m a breastfeeding mom and needed a freezer to store milk for my son). The freezer was not cold and could not fit a normal size plastic water bottle. The fridge was also not very cold and I needed the milk I’d collected over the last week to stay frozen. Ultimately, we left the next day (a day early) because they could not accommodate for us and caught the first flight home.
Another thing was that our room was directly above the KFC there. I expected noise being that close to the city center, but at 1-2am it was so loud because KFC was closing up.
Like I said, I really wanted to love this place but it didn’t work out for us.

The staff here is hard to contact if you need anything. The room was very noisy! The staff didn’t even inform us that there was construction going on. Mind you, the drilling lasts all day and starts at around 9 a.m.! The staff is rude and inconsiderate. It’s unpleasant to step on the bathroom rug — it’s dirty and old. A beautiful apartment very neat, very spacious, surperb location. Couldn’t ask for a nicer apartment with all amenities provided. Bathroom was huge, everything lush. Right outside is the duomo and every other attraction.

Management should ensure that all air conditioners are properly functioning especially during the summer. Otherwise great location.

The entrance looks a little weird because is an old building and they run other hotels business in the same place but when I told you the room is great is because it really is ... very modern, spacious, clean and you can't beat the location ... literally 2 blocks away from the Duomo and stores .... really easy to get from Milano centrale ... The air conditioning worked great, the room was very clean, and check-in was super easy. You just press the button at the front door, and someone comes to meet you and bring you up to the room, very straightforward and convenient. The location is a major plus with this property as well!
However, within minutes of the reception person leaving, I opened the bathroom door and was hit with a wall of sewer gas. The smell is intense and honestly nauseating- definitely not a minor issue. I did read one other review mentioning a bad bathroom odor, so I’m not sure if this is specific to Room 150 or if other rooms are affected too. Thankfully, the smell doesn’t seem to escape the bathroom as long as the door stays closed, but the moment you step in, it’s noxious and really unpleasant.
Also, I was woken up in the middle of the night by a man screaming at the top of his lungs for hours. I couldn’t tell if he was inside the building or just outside, but it was loud, constant, and very unsettling. It sounded like someone under the influence or on drugs, and no one intervened. I know city centers can be noisy, but this felt extreme even for a busy area like the Duomo. In this instance, it would have been helpful to have reception on site so at least someone could take care (or it or call the police if needed.)
If they can resolve the bathroom plumbing issue and find a way to manage nighttime disturbances, this would be a solid place to stay. But as it is now, I wouldn’t return.

The air con wasn't working and despite raising this they didn’t help. They sent a technician who I watched and did nothing. They never came and checked it themselves. In 36 degree heat, we hardly slept for the two nights there. Really poor.

This was a very comfortable room, very close to the Duomo, the metro and with cafes and restaurants close by as well. Because of a flight delay, we were not able to check in until 2am and someone was there within minutes to take us to our room.

The location for this property was great. It’s a little odd how they greet guests. They don’t typically stay on site and they meet you. Also, the air conditioner turned off and had an error code. It made the first night unbearable. They did fix it upon messaging and I suspect it was my fault when I was clicking the buttons. If it hadn’t been so uncomfortable it would have had a higher rating.

The location of the hotel was excellent, under a minute walk to the duomo. Checkin is a bit tricky since there is no reception but people were pretty helpful. The room was big and clean, but no working elevator. We did not mind walking up and down the stairs since we packed light. There is some noise at night and they provide earplugs if needed which we did not need. Excellent place overall, would stay again!

My experience was really good there. Very clean room with coffee machine, kettle and teabag, water... The room and the washroom was super clean.
The check-in process is kind of weird as they are not at the place, but that's not a big deal.
The only bad thing is that this place has a tiny elevator only for luggages and that's available after about 10 steps which is really annoying when you have heavy luggage.

I loved it here! From the outside it doesn't look like a hotel. The steps going up to the room are a bit small but very doable. The lift is very old but adds character and I was able to use it very easily with the help of Chris who checked my family in for 2 rooms. The rooms were AMAZING. We had a city view and both rooms were next to each other with a balcony. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom was big and spacious. It was nice to have a door to the balcony in the bathroom as well and I kept it open when I was getting ready. The coffee, tea and complimentary water was great as well. The fridge should have been cold tho as the waters were room temperature and what I put in the fridge didn't stay cold. Our room was really big and extremely comfortable. At night, I stayed up until midnight on the balcony people watching and watching the moon come up behind the Gucci sign in front of one of the buildings on the corner. The location was perfect. Many cafes and restaurants a few steps from the hotel! Literally right below my balcony! The Duomo was right behind us. We walked down a small corridor and saw it. The subway stations were right in the piazza where the Duomo is and also right below the balcony in the hotel. The large glass 2 doors were very thick and when closed, you couldn't hear the street noise below of the people or of the street cars. My only complaint was that I didn't book a longer stay for this trip to Milan!!! I will DEFINITELY be returning!!!

It was impossible to ask questions get recommendations for restraints etc. In addition to that the lady that answers the video camera was very rude.

I loved the view out the window and watching the trolly's and the night life. The room was clean, functional, and spacious. The bathroom had a towel warmer and hair dryer. Everything was modern and seemed new. I was on the 2nd floor and was grateful for an elevator to get our bags down, but it could only fit one suitcase and one person at a time (or two people) I'm glad I didn't have a stroller with me. When we arrived we just rang the bell outside and a man arrived 2 minuets later to check us in. He brought our bags up too, which was very helpful. Would definitely stay again. Great location! One block from Duomo and the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Tons of shopping and sites. Around the corner from metro and taxi stop.

The property had very nice in room amenities such as coffee, water, and candy. Also slippers, a good blow dryer, and toilet gel. We enjoyed our stay, the staff was super responsive to our needs, they may not be in the building but definitely one short phone call away. The lift is very small, but two plus size people barely fit, and it got us upstairs, which is vital after a day of sightseeing.

The only drawback to this hotel were the steps and that’s a minor drawback. This hotel was right in the middle of everything! Close to all the attractions, shopping, taxi stand and restaurants. Clean comfortable rooms. We would definitely stay here again!

It’s is conveniently located right next to the Duomo, Galleria and many restaurants and shops. The perfect location to walk everywhere in Milan.
