Truly amazing property! Splendidly outfitted rooms, friendly/helpful staff, gorgeous bar with unique craft cocktails, delicious cuisine and unbeatable location. If you can afford it (and even if you can't, that's what credit cards are for, right?) you won't regret staying at the MO Milano.

The hotel is perfectly located in a quiet ally just in the heart of the fashion district. The service is everything you would expect from this type of hotel. The concierge is super-helpful, the spa is great and all service people were really perfect. The hotel interiors, corridors and rooms may need some renovation for a hotel in this level but all in all highly recommended.

Nice hotel, good location, but I booked king bed, they gave me 2 twins, they converted to 1 king after for few days, but I realized they took the board on the top of the bed on the last day. And sometimes they don’t put stuffs in the room if you don’t ask. Service was ok, but absolutely not great.

The staff are very friendly and helpful and efficient. The hotel rooms and bed is very comfortable!!!! The location is very good, near the shopping street and cathedral. the breakfast a la carte for hot dish is great! both eggs and side dish! The drinks and apéro is great, but dinner food soso... the hotel recommendations for other restaurants are so so too.... maybe due to most restaurants are closed for summer holidays ...

The minute I walked into the Mandarin Oriental I was immediately taken aback by both the hotel itself and the fine staff that they have. Everyone was extremely kind and at all times attentive. The rooms were lovely and extremely comfortable. Even the bathroom impressed me with its beautiful exterior. The meticulous gifts were of the greatest surprise. We received the cutest stuffed animals for the children and were given a platter of chocolate that was shaped to go with the theme of the hotel. The room was extremely modern and had very advanced technology. Although I only there for a short period of time the Mandarin Oriental made Milan a very memorable experience.

Wonderful hotel located nicely in the center of the city within a few steps of La Scala and Duomo di Milano, as well as all the fantastic designer stores. We stayed here on New Years Day 2019 and a special treat was a hand-written note from the General Manager and a plate of chocolate truffles. The Michelin-starred restaurant Seta was closed for the holiday, but we would love to come back and try it.

Mediocre reception service and noise issues

I’m a seasoned traveler & only stayed at the top hotels like Aman resorts and the Four Seasons. I picked the MO Milan as the others were fully booked due to the fashion week in Milan. My experience was average.

The help I get from the Reception is mediocre. Lip service mostly to meet my request but no action followed. The exception is the Reception Manager, who efficiently helped me with my needs.

The food was mediocre. The service at the bar during breakfast was unsatisfactory. Waited forever for my tea and my carrot juice was not freshly squeezed with thick consistency like much cornstarch being added to it.

My room, which was an upgraded Executive suite, was very noisy at the evening with noises coming from the bar downstairs. So each night I have to call the Reception manager to help asking them to lower the music volume.

I was tired (from a long haul flight) and I didn’t feel relaxed at this hotel since I need to follow up with the Reception staff each time I have a request. They never responded you back efficiently or no response, with the exception of the reception Mgr.

Paying an average Euro 900 per night I would expect at least to have some peace

A relaxing Milan weekend

The Mandarin Oriental was situated in a quiet street just close enough to all the sites to be both relaxing and accessible. The room was impressively large with a unique sunken bathroom, and I loved the large soaking tub. The bar is a must visit for some of the most unique cocktails I’ve ever seen, and a great private courtyard.

Mandarin Oriental Milan excellent

From the moment we arrived we were looked after. Nothing was too much for the staff. The concierge organised tickets to see The Last Supper with less than a days notice. The reception staff organised an early check in on our arrival as well as an anniversary surprise. The restaurant staff at the bistro and Seta were exceptional. Highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel and amazing staff. Very professional. The food was beyond amazing. We were upgraded to a junior suite and it was very spacious. Loved everything in the hotel and would definitely come back. The only thing we did not like is that the WiFi wasn't complimentary.

Amazing customer service!

We stayed 3 nights here to celebrate our anniversary. When checking in we were surprised to find that they had upgraded our room! We stayed in the junior suite, great space, stylish and most comfortable. We spoiled ourselves with room service, which was most efficient, and a spa treatment (a must for anyone staying here, but book early as time slots can be hard to come by). I fell ill the last night with fever, the hotel arranged for someone to go to the pharmacy and get me some paracetamol which was an immense help, and allowed us a later check out. The staff were all wonderful!!!

Hotel location is very convenient. Hotel staff is very attentive and always keen to get your feedback for staying in the hotel, which makes you feel very welcoming. Concierge desk has been extremely helpful in tailoring our day trip to lake come. After a long day of shopping in Milan, what's better than enjoying yourself in a nice relaxing spa. The only slight imperfection for our stay is wifi is not free. For a 5 star hotel of this ranking, I would think the room rates are sufficient to cover for a free wifi service.

Great people make a great hotel

The staff at this hotel set an example of how people in the hospitality industry should be. Everyone I came in contact with was helpful courteous and genuinely nice. I have two issues however that I would like to bring up. The first is the WIFI service which was not free, like all of the hotels that I stayed in for the past two years, at least. The second is the desk in the room: it's too big and its oddly positioned, where it takes a lot of space from the room. Its like an over-sized coffee table, with little function. Other than that every aspect of my stay was truly enjoyable. I would definitely return to this hotel.

Excellent Hotel with close proximity to the Duomo

My wife and I visited for Valentines day and Presidents weekend. Nicely appointed rooms (solid comfortable bed). The rain shower head (Its one of the few times you don't mind when it is raining on you!). Rain shower head is the size of a small planet. The lighting and mood lighting in the rooms. 55-60 inch flat panel TV. Hey you get what you pay for and that's pure pampering at MO! Hotel is close to the train station M3 (yellow) (1 block) line and also close proximity to the Duomo and surrounding areas (8 minute walk).

el hotel excelente , la ubicación etc pero hubo una situación con el ruido de la calle, creo que sus ventanas no son las correctas pues se oye mucho ruido de la calle , tuvimos noches muy malas ya que el ruido que se percibe dentro de la habitación es excesivo y eso esta muy mal, el costo de este hotel no debería ser que tuvieran ese tipo de ventanas, pasamos muy malas noches, se los hice saber al gerente y solo nos hicieron un crédito de unos 200 euros equivalente a una cena y algunos cargo a la habitación, muy mala experiencia para el tipo de hotel y lo que se paga , muy decepcionante.
