Hotel was. Ice. It room were a little worn. There was a button missing from one of the controls for lights. Also, it was a iPad controlled room which I find a little annoying. Carpet in room needed to be replaced.

Location was perfect. Near shopping and duomo.

I would never return to this property for one unforgivable thing that they failed to rectify or even remotely find a suitable solution for.

On one of our nights they rented out both restaurant areas for parties. When we returned to the hotel at 8pm they refused to seat us in either restaurant. They also refused to make any alternative accommodations. They could have (1) called their sister restaurant of property and asked for a table; (2) prepared an alternative space in the hotel where we could eat; (3) offer of something of significant value (rooms were in excess of 2k/per night ); or, (4) escalate the issue to the general manager for resolution.

The solution offered was to eat room service in the room. So our party of 3 was effectively separated for the evening if we wanted to eat.

Because of the trade show in town it was very difficult to get walk in reservations anywhere and we had an elderly person with us that made walking around to find a place difficult, if not impossible.

To me, Armani Hotel broke what I would consider the most basic aspect of having a hotel - being able to feed your guests. This goes back centuries to inn keepers. The idea that they would not have a way to accommodate their paying guests, while at the same time parading non paying guests in to eat was astonishing.

If they want to be on the level of Four Seasons or Aman, they have a long way to go. They should stick to fashion, assuming you even think they do that well.

I rarely write reviews but I had to for Armani. Everything about this hotel was perfect. The location, the service, the room, utilities, and the list goes on and on. Everyone was so helpful. The service was above and beyond. The room was beautiful. Everything was convenient and you could not choose a better location. The staff was so helpful and friendly. They whatsapped me and would help me make itinerary’s for each day. they were around the clock 24/7. Seriously a 10/10 experience. They really took the 5 star luxury hotel stay to the next level. Thank you. I will definitely be coming back.

A little disappointed in the lack of a lobby and always having to go from street level 0 to lobby 7 then down to room 5. Also somewhat overpriced at approx. $1000 per night for a \"normal\" room. Location is outstanding. Service is warm and attentive. Gym is good for an Italian hotel; which in my experience do not generally excel in fitness facilities. Only issue was - bizarrely for a hotel from a fashion group - was the wardrobe. Tiny. Not handing space. Bizarre. Nonetheless, would recommend overall.

I rarely ever write reviews but the Armani hotel in Milan really made me feel as though I was in my own home.From the decor to the cleanliness & everything in between,I never once felt like I was in \" someone else's home.\" The staff went above and beyond as though we were VIP. Nelson helped me every single night until 2am planning our day trips.He is one of the classiest, nicest human beings.We asked the concierge if we would have trouble getting a taxi to the airport at 7am or hire a driver.He told us we will be fine.The next morning it was pouring and I was running late.The concierge had arranged for a private taxi on his own without us knowing or having to pay the extra $200.The driver was there waiting for us.I will never stay anywhere else in Milan and wish they offered timeshares as our suite was huge and beautiful.I cannot wait to return to the Armani hotel in Milan!!

After a nice welcome to the hotel, I returned for my second night. I went to the front desk with a request for Super Glue. I had vertically broke one of my finger nails. The lady at the front desk sent me to the Spa. All I wanted was either super glue or clear nail varnish to temporarily fix the split nail. I was very polite and clear about this to everyone with whom I spoke. I was shown to a manicurist who then cut my finger nail and proceeded to puncture my skin. I bled. She was attempting to remove the clear gel which was on my nail. I never asked for this to be done. I work with my hands. The entire staff at the Spa and the front desk and the hotel manager were rude. The manager asked what they could do. I finally responded they could refund one night. He only condescendingly offered to call a doctor which wasn’t necessary and a free meal. In the morning when I left, they still charged me for the meal. The previous night a specifically requested to speak with the Director of the Hotel upon my departure. They agreed. Giuseppe The Director was neither there nor willing to diesel with me. I am so disappointed with the hotel and their lack of concern, compensation and respect.

I loved the technology and the safety of the hotel .
Our rooms were controlled by I pads Which I found so cool. We had beautiful full bathroom that consisted of a large tub , one door for a shower and another for bidet and toilet . .. complimentary drinks and snacks .. Great size of room and staff was always very helpful and polite . The spa facilities were state of the art .. sauna , steam room , hot tub no xtra fees with a beautiful view of the city

I stayed five nights during a business trip. I read reviews on other websites so I was relatively prepared for what to expect. The staff was mostly lovely although there were definitely some language barriers with the housekeeping and laundry staff. Rooms are nice but you can see the wear and tear on the carpets, wood floors, and bathroom shower stone. Room decor is the done in the signature Armani \"Greige\" which kind of makes the room look like a chic coffin. Everything in the room is controlled by an iPad - curtains, lights, tv, etc. Luckily, during my stay I didn't have any tech problems. Housekeeping comes into your room quite a bit every day so definitely make use of the safe.
Things I would recommend avoiding - food from the Bamboo Bar and the laundry service. The food at the Bamboo Bar is pretty awful and very overpriced. The restaurant and room service all share the same kitchen so I didn't order room service after dining at the Bamboo Bar. The breakfast is just OK - not very good. I really recommend eating outside of the hotel. The front desk gave me two restaurant recommendations that were a bust. Luckily, a sales manager pointed me to the Brera section where I had amazing pasta. I would also recommend avoiding the laundry service as they ruined a nice jacket of mine and they did nothing. All in all, it was okay - not terrible and not amazing.

Check in and out was slow; seemed to be short staffed at the desk. TV was not functional when first arrived in the room and some electrical was also not functioning. This was fixed quickly, but still surprising. Vertical curtain didn’t function at all. Horizontal curtain was slightly off track on one side. Beautiful hotel in general, and stylish bar and restaurant. For the price, I’m not sure it’s worth it, given other great hotels in the same area.

It was for a small getaway for us after a business trip. Thorough enjoyed the Armani hotel. Love the design and the location. Both of us had sound sleep for the four nights. You can not hear any noise coming from outside at all. The gym was great, pool is small and closes too early. But we managed to utilise it as much as we could. Even spent some time admiring the super moon in the pool! One thing I didn't like is the fake rose petals. It's a nice gesture for couples... however if it's going to be plastic you might as well not do it. For an outstanding hotel like Armani considering you have a florist as well that was just a bit of a put off IMHO.

I RARELY write reviews, but our stay with Armani was extraordinarily bad. It took a really long time to get our bags to the room which made me late to a tour we had. The woman at the check in desk was barely polite. The room smelled like fish. The paint on the walls was scratched and peeling. There were not enough towels, the hair dryer did not work. Many of the central controls were through and ipad that only worked some of the time. We love cutting edge technology, but it has to work! Imagine trying to catch your international flight and getting up at 4am to find you cannot turn on the lights and the hair dryer doesn't work??? My husband talked to the staff extensively, TWICE the night before about adding the $5 Area C Fee to the room bill. When we go to check out at 4:30am, it was not on the bill and the check out staff had no clue what he was talking about. That added a considerable amount of stress and about 30-40 minutes of extra work on my husbands trying to rectify the situation because you only have 24 hours to pay that bill or you receive a hefty fine. We travel in 5 star hotels constantly and this was one of our worst experiences.

Upon check in our room was not ready. The reception advised that we could have a drink in the bar and he will come and get us when it was ready. We proceeded to the bar and sat down. An attendant approached us and gestured to us without saying anything (as though ~ yea, what do you want) (we were affronted) asked if we could order two teas and she walked off. Twenty minutes later the tea arrived as did the receptionist advising our room was ready ~ the writing was on the wall!!
We asked for a quiet room and one that was away from the lifts and were told that the room is very quiet and lovely. Three times we had to ask for towels and extra pillows as well as confirm a late check out the following day!
The room was NOT quiet. There was street noise, lift noise talking and door banging from next door and you could clearly hear people walking above us ~ potentially reception area/bar/restaurant.
We ate at the Bamboo Bar and during the night came down with violent food poisoning ~ both my husband and I were beyond sick (I don’t need to go into detail) We callee the front desk asking for a doctor. Paramedics arrived confirming food poisoning ~ a doctor arrived and guest relations manager also came in both agreeing its a bug ~ naturally!!
We both were so sick, we couldn’t make our flight and had to stay another two nights. The guest relations manage called me asking if our 2pm checkout was still going to work ~ at this point I became livid ~ are you kidding?? Anyway~no good!

Asked for shoe polish and was not serviced in one hour - just by one non english speaking that couldnt say a Word about the shoes etc. The lounge place is also Nothing special. I think there's no other way to put it more simply than the hotel is AMAZING!
Service was excellent, from reception to the cleaning staff. I felt welcomed the moment I stepped in.
It was my first time staying at an Armani Hotel so I was a little nervous about everything being controlled with an iPad in the Room, but it is really very very easy and user friendly.

I lived in Milan for two years, sono knew the area well and it is the perfect one to stay when in Milan.

The room was incredible, with a small hall that could be closed, coffee area and a huge beautiful bathroom.

No, it's not cheap, but if it's totally worth it. If I can I will stay there again.

This is a nice modern hotel within a convenient location. The Nobu restaurant downstairs is good. In room dining is good but don't order their coffee.
This is my second visit to this hotel, the room quality is still good, but the service quality of the reception staff need some improve. Not feeling welcomed by this visit.

If you enjoy total luxury in a contemporary setting on a vacation, then the Armani is the hotel of choice in Milan. Great location, large rooms, impeccable staff with Armani style carefully woven into every nook and cranny. It is even possible to snag a great rate with advance planning (and a little luck). Smart, modern & clean hotel, close to Duomo and other central bits.
No lobby as such, you simply walk into the lifts and up to the 7th floor for the Reception etc.
Unusual lift system whereby, from your room floor, you go up to the 7th floor, walk across the reception area, get into another different lift which then takes you all the way down to the ground floor.
Lots of brown everywhere - smart and minimalistic, could do with a few more bits eg tissue boxes in the rooms. Brown does start to feel oppressive after a while.
no views from 2nd floor (where we stayed) windows either - some rooftop views from the lounge area.
restaurant was not available for guest use as was a private function going on! but can eat in lounge.
some staff very helpful - others a bit hit & miss

I visit Milan quite regularly and usually stay at the Four Seasons or Mandarin Oriental, but this time, I wanted to try the Armani Hotel. Everything about this hotel is what I expect from a five star hotel and the fashion icon. Great location, helpful staff, decor, clean, detailed housekeeping and spacious etc... The only issue I had was my bed which had a worn out caved in mattress. I asked housekeeping to see if there was anything they could do, so they took the topper off, but the problem remained. I informed the front desk that my problem was still there and they sent a team of housekeepers to my room, but nothing could be rectified. At the end of my three nights stay, I felt very tired due to a lack of sleep and came away with a bad back as a result.

Modern and Stilish.

We stay there for a couple of nights this summe. We were greeted by a very friendly staff in a very modern hotel. The corridors makes you feel that you are in a Sci Fi movie but as soon as you enter your room there is light and a very modern and stylish decor. Location is perfect for shopping, going to the opera or to the Duomo. I give this hotel top marks!

Staff was extremely accommodating. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The location of the hotel was easy access to all points of interest. The beds were so comfortable and clean. Spa and restaurant were excellent as well.

Outstanding position, amazing room and very well appointed. Attention to detail is exceptional, staff service from every single person from tej door man to the reception staff to room service is 11/10....one of the best hotels in Milan for sure and I highly recommend .also the spa and massage is outstanding

Very disappointed. I booked at this hotel because the room description was \"Kitchen with refrigerator, cookware/dishware and espresso maker\". We needed a kitchen; we got a small counter, with a minibar fridge and an expresso machine. No sink, no cooking utensils, nothing to use to heat the food. Not exactly a lie but certainly not the truth. I was naive enough to think that Armani would not exaggerate like this.

Additionally, the lobby is on the 7th floor. To get to your room you need to take one elevator to the lobby and switch elevators to go to your room. Very annoying to have to take 2 elevators every time you go in our out of your room.
