In my estimation more of a business hotel than leisure. It was a little far afield from the sightseeing. However for its class we would have likely paid more in the area closer to the Duomo for the same hotel. Staff was very professional and pleasant. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Also very quiet rooms. Property is very well maintained. I would have preferred to be a little closer to the tourist zones but this is an excellent choice given its class and pricing for my trip. Recommended

The hotel and staff were very nice. They charged €50 per day to park the car, that we had to pay the parking lot staff. They overcharged for one night and promised to make it right the next day, however they refused and forced me to pay more to get my car. The hotel staff unfortunately did not intervene. Very disappointing. Felt cheated

I needed a taxi to the airport and had called the front desk the night before. They told me it would be 115 Euro. I decided to wait til morning to see if an uber would be cheaper. A taxi on the Uber app was the same as the night before which was 115 Euro. Assuming this was a set rate and because it was 4am, I asked the front desk person to get me a taxi. Within 5 minutes a taxi was there. Only problem was, they charged me close to 140 Euro. I guess it’s my fault for assuming but I felt it was a little shady either on the part of the front desk or the taxi driver himself.

This would have been an excellent stay if it weren't for a few glitches with the toilets (that were taking care of eventually). The room was modern with nice accents and I recommend spending a bit more to get the superior with the little balcony on the park. The street itself is very quiet so no problem noise-wise. The vibe of the hotel is a bit business-like so if you like hotels with a warm, old-style feeling this is not it. Bathroom has a great, big shower with soft towels and robes. The best feature of the hotel is its location. You can virtually visit all of the main tourists areas in Milan without taking any transportation (and if you get tired you have the Turati subway station really closeby and San Babila at 15 minutes walk, which means you can get there from Linate by subway). If you are a runner you have the added bonus of being right on the Palestro park.

Unfortunately, my experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing because of multiple unresolved plumbing problems. At one point, the shower and sink water turned brown, making it impossible to shower or even brush our teeth in the room. While we were initially given access to another room to shower, our own toilet flushed nonstop and made it very difficult to sleep. Later, the same issues persisted but we were not provided with an alternative room, even though I understand that other guests were accommodated. By the end of the stay, while the shower was finally fixed, the toilet was completely broken and unusable.

For the price and reputation of this hotel, I expected much better.

The stay was good but the hotel charged us extra for 2nd person. They said it is only booked for one person. I am not sure why it shows like that but honestly rooms are meant for 2 people always. I requested to talk to the expedia team directly but they said we need to talk to them. It was unnecessary a hassle so we paid extra 40 euros per night extra. We did not appreciate that.

We stayed at Hotel Manin and the check-in process was easy. The breakfast included was okay, they served canned versus fresh fruits but it was still good for the price we paid. The room was clean and spacious. Unfortunately, we had an emergency and had to cut the trip short. They would have refunded the rest of the days we didn’t use our rooms but since it was pre-paid through Expedia, they couldn’t do it. This hotel is also pet friendly.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. The location is excellent—just a short walk from the Duomo, as well as many great restaurants and shops.

The rooms were surprisingly spacious for Europe, and we found them to be very comfortable. Breakfast was quite decent, especially considering the price.

The only downside was that one of our rooms had a shutter blocking the window that couldn't be opened, which meant there was no natural light and the room felt quite dark. Aside from that, everything was great, and we would definitely recommend this hotel to others

What I loved about the place was the staff. What I didn’t like was the AC is locked at 22C and it still didn’t keep up with that temp. One of two elevators was not working the entire 5 days we were there, and it sure didn’t look like it was ver worked on. No hooks to hang your wash cloths under the sink. 50/50 on if we would stay here again because the staff was that good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel, appreciating the friendly staff, the cleanliness of the room, and the delightful restaurant, especially the breakfast buffet. Everything was truly amazing.

The only area that could benefit from some attention is the corridors, which appear not to have been renovated yet. Additionally, the cleaning products used in the room had a strong, unpleasant odor reminiscent of a hospital. I believe there are excellent products available that could be used to enhance the experience with a more pleasant scent. I certainly plan to return to this hotel on my next trip, as its location in Milan is superb.

The room was ready upon our arrival. The check in process was smooth and friendly. The location is nice and is easy to walk to the main attractions like the Duomo and Castle Sforzesco. There is a large park across the road for a quiet stroll.
The gym is super tiny and has a bit of a bad odor. Breakfast was fair. Offerings were limited for fresh fruit and hot healthy options.

The only thing that let it down was some minor wear and tear in the bathroom and that both the toilet and boiler? Were quite loud on occasion (filling back up). I would 100% stay again

Arrived 9.30pm after long flights. Reception pleasant but gave few instructions. Found room cramped (no Expedia gold upgrade), & only window was beside bed with falling net curtain, and windows opposite. Had to ask at reception how to lower outside shutter to gain privacy with lights on in bed.
Breakfast ordinary- sliced sandwich breads, no fresh juices, limited fresh fruit. Poor value at A$460

This is a beautiful hotel in a perfect location to see the sights of Milan. The city is very walkable (an easy and scenic 10 minutes and you’re in the heart of the Duomo neighbourhood or the cool Brera district). The breakfast was plentiful and delicious although I would suggest going on the earlier side because I found things weren’t replenished very quickly or at all later on. Every staff member I came across was so friendly and helpful though and I just generally really enjoyed my stay here. Would recommend!

I was quite disappointed for a 4-star hotel. A lot of nuisances added up to a thoroughly mediocre experience: bathroom door had to be slammed to close, the AC wouldn't turn on yet because it's too early in the season despite the rooms being very hot, the key cards were VERY finicky in terms of not working after being near phones or cards. The walls, floors, and ceilings were very thin; ou heard all kinds of random sounds distinctly. The window had a transparent curtain only. The pillows were lumpy and uncomfortable.

The breakfast buffet was quite good except for the coffee. The location is pretty great for tourists and a nearby park to run or walk in.

The hotel was super good and in a great position. I had a fun check in as they gave me a room which wasn’t clean, then I had to wait for another one to be available. I have used their laundry service and they lost my pj which was found the day after. I would expect a bit of discount for the incovenience on this but nothing.

The hotel is not near the centre of Milan, 20 to 30 minute walk to the cathedral square, we knew this before travelling and we are happy to walk. There is a large park across the road which is lovely to walk through and when we visited in November there was a fair in the park. Room was nicely set out, very comfortable, breakfast was included, buffet style with cooked meals available at a cost, better coffee available at no extra charge if you ask the staff. Bar area is nice and relaxed, comfortable lounging sofas and table and chairs if you prefer, nibbles were provided with the wine.
Happy to stay here again.

Disappointed in the hotel. We were only staying one night and had room 110 - if you’re offered this room refuse it. First of all the hotel is ok as far as location is concerned, 20-25 min walk from the central station or 5 mins from the nearest Metro.
The room - it smelt odd, only really noticed once back from walking around Milan, worked out it was the headboard of the bed that smelt (like stale smoke..) the room itself felt like a cupboard rather than a room, only a very small window. It was noisy and could hear water running from the room above (shower toilet etc). It did have a decent mini bar with Ok prices but if I were staying longer than the one night I would have asked to be moved.

Small tv in the room. Can’t connect to streaming services. No access to English channels or subtitles. Floor was dusty and toilets looked unclean. Elevators are small. It was scary to be with two people in the elevator with luggage. It needs to be upgraded. Hotel has hidden fees not disclosed in the Expedia listing.
