Poor air conditioning, heating left on overnight when advised to turn off resulted in extremely poor sleep. Shower does not drain adequately and pools which isn’t very pleasant. Room provided not as advertised in images in reality much smaller. Worst of it was experiencing bed bug bites which tell you all you need to know about the cleanliness of the rooms. Wouldn’t recommend, raised this as a complaint to the manager but no response.

I had an amazing stay at heart hotel Milano this week, the room was modern and gorgeous, the bathroom was big and clean, and there was a lift too. The staff were so friendly and always at reception to say hello when we came in, they even have a page with a barcode to scan which tells you the staffs favourite local food spots. The beds were comfortable and when we asked for extra pillows and towels we were given them by the time we got back to the hotel after exploring the city. It is a bit far from duomo, but the metro is a 5 minute walk from the hotel and there's a tram opposite the hotel too. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone planning on staying in milan.

The location is the GOOD part: walking distance from several restaurants, bars, and a shopping center. The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. However, it smelled very musty in the room every time we entered it. As a result most of the time we would leave the window open.

Well can I say. We’ve been back a week from this hotel after booking it for my wife’s birthday and our anniversary.
The staff at the hotel in particular Anna and lorenzo had clear communications with me from the off.
On arrival the check in very smooth everything explained.
As we got the room the room was well presented with balloons chocolates roses and bubbles.
When we return I will definitely be booking this hotel again

6 minutes walk to the metro that takes you towards duomo. 15 mins walk to the Centre. Room was so small & dark. As soon as we walked in it was super warm and it had a very interesting smell which did not smell good at all. Bathroom was small and it had rust all over the tiles. Bed was big but it was not comfortable, only gave us 2 pillows which were comfortable and it was flat. Housekeeper didn’t even take our trash when they came in.

Room layout was the weirdest. Shower was separate from toilet and had a curtain in front of it which was so uncomfortable. No Parking on the premises. I had to drive around few blocks for an overnight parking which wasn't cheap either. For the nightly rate i paid, i think its not worth for this type of accommodation, i would recommended a different place.

We came for a night to watch AC Milan and stayed here. Receptionist that checked us in was very friendly and gave us our room 2 hours before official check-in. Hotel and room were clean and tidy, shower and toilet were immaculate, the former worked well also. Very convenient for travelling as it was a few mins walk away from the metro line. Would definitely stay again if I visited Milan or went to the San Siro again

I missed a good breakfast. I like in the morning to go down from room an dhave at least egs or pancakes. This is the only reason from my 4 stars. Oh , and missing closet in the room. Overall bathroom and toilet were excellent. The hotel is very very clean .

I'd unwittingly booked an accessible room as a last-min bargain. The shower curtain didn't stop the spray from getting across much of the ensuite area. There were a couple of hairs from at least two other people in the bathroom.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Great location with easy access anywhere, the staff I interacted with were nice, room was tiny but that was expected and since I was alone this did not matter. Comfortable bed, great shower, clean and pretty modern/new.
My only complaint is the room has too many of those tiny lights everywhere (fire alarm, smoke detector (blinking) TV, room card slot (bright green or red light that lit up the entire room), so the room is not completely dark at night, for those that are bothered by it (like me) this was annoying, also the A/C, if one has it set to a low temperature, it kicks in every few minutes, which woke me up several times. But I’d stay here again!

DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL!!!
I arrived 2am and they sold my room to someone else after informing them I would be checking in then. Moved us to their other hotel which was in a homeless area and very unsafe, moved back the next day to HEART and asked for the air conditioning to be turned on the staff advertised it doesn’t get turned on until the summer? False advertising and booked because it was warm weather and needed AC. Hotel refused a partial refund and Expedia did nothing to help after contacting them numerous times. Really bad experience!! Hotel was dirty and needed a good clean

Very happy I chose to stay here, so clean, well designed, and friendly. Could walk all over the city centre, surrounding areas, and take the subway from here easily and felt at home coming back. BUT make sure to get a room facing away from the street, the nearby ER sends out frequent ambulances and the streetcars are very loud. No iron or kettle in the room.

Do not stay at this hotel. When my wife and I had to suddenly change our reservation because of a government flight ban that cancelled our flight, Heart Hotel simply took our money and refused to give us a refund. The hotel staff were rude in dealing with us and kept changing their explanation as to why they couldn't help us. They just kept the money and refused to refund or credit us anything at all.

They had an excellent breakfast and were located close to the public transportation. This is an older hotel. You can tell it was once a very fine hotel .with some updates it gould be again. Unfortunately our room had an unpleasant smell and the AC was poor.

Great little hotel.on arrival our first impression was very friendly and welcoming. Very convenient with the tram across the road , and a five minute walk to the new modern area of Gae Aulenti Piazza. Just 3 stops on the team to Milan Central station, and a nearby metro to take you very quickly to the heart of this beautiful city.
For the price it was fantastic. Small supermarket on one side and an English pub on the other.

Hotel Cervo is in a great location, close to transport. The property was clean, and staff very friendly and helpful when we asked for extra pillows or towels. The breakfast buffet was great, with lots of choices and the staff were constantly replenishing it. Overall a great place to stay. Hope to stay again!

Good hotel for business or small family vacations

I stayed here for 4 nights on a business trip. It is very conveniently located - within walking distance to the central Milan area - lots of pubs, bars, and restaurants within walking distance.

Great breakfast!

Rooms are functional and reasonably well outfitted. However, the bathrooms are tiny. I can confidently say this was the TINIEST shower stall I have ever used!! Just barely 2 ft x 2 ft - you hit something each time you move! You cannot lather or soap yourself without hitting your elbow! :))

Other than that, just one of the night clerks seemed to not take his eyes off his computer screen - even you stood right at the counter expecting at least an acknowledgment, if not an actual welcome/ smile while you waited for him to see you and then give you your room key (one of those big brass ones you HAVE to leave at the hotel when stepping out.). However, the rest of the staff at the reception were VERY friendly. Breakfast staff was not visible - but the food itself is all laid out and if you don't need any help, you are fine.

Also, for those of you who don't like noise, being in the middle of the city - police, and ambulance sirens are a fact of life. And since the hotel had no air-con (only heating OR air-con at one time, this time it was heating!), I had to leave the windows open. I didn't mind - I enjoyed the \"European feel\" of my stay there.

About 20 minutes from Milan Linate (LIN) airport.

Overall, good value for money!

We stayed for three nights while visiting our son who lives nearby. The hotel is in a great area that is close to both rail stations, metro, and tram and has a 24 hour supermarket nearby. In the street next to the hotel (Ameriga Vespucci) there are some great restaurants and bistros - including Soul Food which is 100% vegan, and Sweet which has a happy hour until 21.30 where for the price of an 8 euro drink you get a full buffet of pizza and anti pasta as complimentary. Just two minutes walk from Hotel Cervo is the Porta Nuevo area with the stunning Unicredit Tower and the Bosca apartments - it's a great place to sit and people watch. Hotel Cervo is just a 7 Euro taxi ride (or 15 min walk) from Milano Centrale, and two minutes from Garibaldi station (you can take a train up to Lake Como in an hour for 4.80 from there). From Cervo we strolled through lovely Park Sempione to the Castello (5 euros entry for all 8 museums- great value) then on to the Milano Duomo and the Galleria, carry on and you reach the Navigali - it took less than 60 minutes to stroll and that was because we did detours to see things on the way - it is around 5km though so put on your trainers - it was a great way to get a feel for Milano life and see lots on the way. We really appreciated the welcoming and friendly staff at Hotel Cervo and the comfortable room and bed. The hotel and room are kept neat, tidy and clean. The excellent breakfast is a large buffet. We look forward to staying again

This is the hotel located in centre of the city; between the Milano central and Duomo. Very convenient to catch a rail bus and underground train to go around.
The down side is, room is pretty small, dead simple with out much decoration, it was like a 2.5feet wide bed, the room is 3x3meter inclusive the bath room. LCD tv is small and old. Luckily the room is clean.

I was over for 5 days exhibiting in Milan mostra show .The location is fine .It's a 15 mins walk from the Central station. The decor is dated .The shower is extremely small with the toilet located in a very tight spot in the bathroom.Noisy over night as there is a pub next door. Not the best .

Good manager vs Terrible night duty staff.

My stay is not-so -good as I had suspected someone broke into my room when I was out on day 1. Feeling very discomfort and scary drove me report to the night duty staff. However, my situation was totally denied at the beginning and the night duty staff seemed innocent to tackle my situation. He told me to talk with his manager next morning at 7am. I was so frustrated until the night duty staff committed that the room/bed has been missed to clean up well before my check-in. Finally , I got my room changed at the midnight.Next day. I am pleased to meet the manager, Younes who showed his empathy, understanding and apology to my situation. Mr Younes is very nice and is a good listener. He is also concerned about the staff 's attitude of the customer. Younes's performance is highly appreciated .

Charming boutique hotel close to tourist spots

Upon arrival, we were greeted by a friendly man working the front dest who took our passports in exchange for the room keys, and informed us they would be ready for pickup after we went up to our room to drop off our bags. It was the fastest check-in I've ever experienced! Very nice!
The hotel is very charming. Our room was small, but to us, it didn't matter. The bathroom was clean and had a nice shower. Adorable views from our bedroom and bathroom windows, too! The bed was comfortable, and the morning breakfast was just what we needed for a quick bite before we headed out. When we left, a different man was working the desk, but he was equally friendly. Very great start to our trip to Italy!

I was waiting to write this time, I had booked standard room, as definition for standard is always different everywhere now I learned. I was given a TINY room with Nano bathroom, where flush used to get on every 5 mins, I will never forget I could not sleep that night which ruined my next day.
I complained about this next day and I was offered better room little bigger one with no - such problem. Hotel Staff was friendly and Helpful. Breakfast was undoubtedly good.

Online booking mistake with a happy ending.

We mistakenly booked the Milano Cervo Hotel on line and only discovered this when arriving at the Malpensa Airport.
When my husband called Expedia and explained the situation, Dean went right to work to help us find a room for the night.
Dean at Expedia at the last moment managed to secure a room for us at the Cervo Hotel in Malpensa near the airport.
We had stayed there 10 years ago because of its location. It was the same wonderful place we remember with a fine restaurant. Rooms nice and clean and large. Shuttle from the airport and back again in the morning was wonderful.
Thanks to John at the hotel for finding room for us. And especially to Dean who turned disaster into a fine finish to our
European adventure!

My daughter and I stayed here for 6 nights. This is our first time in Milan and I'm so glad that we selected this hotel because we're very pleased with our stay.

This hotel has a very good location. Easy access to public transportation. Nice neighborhood although at night I can hear some noise coming from a kitchen...not sure if it was the hotel's kitchen or from the building right next to us...(but it wasn't that bad though).

Good variety of FREE breakfast. We love the fact that there is a grocery store next door where you can buy fresh fruits and other personal essentials.

Front desk staff were always polite and very helpful. We will definitely stay at this hotel if ever we decide to visit Milan next time. This is a good hotel to stay if you're planning to visit Milan!!

I booked the room for one night, on the website the rooms looked really nice. After 12 hours of driving I was waiting for a good night sleep. But it was nothing like I've expected...The rooms were nothing like the pictures, they were old, they all smelled like cigarets and cherry on the cake the room they gave us was just in front of a huge fan from the restaurant so you can imagine the extra smell and noise. I went to the reception and asked if i could please change the room and the guy gave me a key to another room who looked even worse. So he explained to me that the hotel has 57 Rooms but only 15 are renovated and on that 15 Rooms just 4 are double bed. So my chances of getting a room like the pictures on their website was really really small. Anyway I called Hotels.com to find a solution but as I booked a last minute room it was \"non refundable\" so I was way more mad that after lying to us about the rooms they said they won't give us our Monney back to go to another hotel. We left anyway, got to the nH Hotel just next door and finally got our well deserved good night sleep. For us this hotel is a disappointment they show you nice pictures but be aware you wont get what you pay for.

I was well attended by the personnel.

I found answers to my question at the information counter
The breakfast is served in a clean space; simple; with care.
When I reached the hotel my room was not ready.
But within 20 minutes; it was set.

*The only reminder: bring over your toiletries!

The room I stayed in was small, it reminded me of a monk's room in a convent! The bathroom was OK and breakfast was good. The staff were very nice!

Good value for money

The hotel was in a good location and easy to find, with good transport links into and out of Milan nearby. The room was a bit on the small side (smaller than I expected) and the bed wasn't very comfortable. It was too firm for me as was the pillow and my first night sleep wasn't great but after that the other two nights which much better.
