I've never seen such poor service, with staff who are so slow to respond and incompetent, not to mention downright rude, plus the place is dirty and access to the floor where the hotel/guest house is located is terrible.

So far the worst expierience I’ve ever had on a hotel. The personel was rude and reckless. I arrived at around noon and they told me I had to leave and return at 2pm. Then after check in i realized it has a shared bathroon ( like a hostel), the room was super hot and when asked for water they told me had to go to get it from the tap in the bathroom.

At night I got some food from the supermarket in front of the hotel and returned to the hotel and they didn’t had microwave and I asked the guy if I could eat it at the balcony on the reception and he said no.

Worst was after check out I left my lugagge there and after a while my phone was almost dead so I returned to the hotel to charge it before leavig to the airport and the girl who was there told me I couldn’t stay there even just for 15-20 minutes to charge my phone. I had my luggage there so tried to explained just wanted to charge my phone before leaving and she was very rude and unhelpful.

Again, worst hotel I’ve been and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

I really enjoyed my stay in Milano...it was incredible. The hotel is situated in the middle of a busy and vibrant area. Shops, cafes and restaurants are conveniently located. The hotel is clean and rooms are confortable. The shared bathroom was very clean. Lastly, the staff was friendly and helpful...and their cat was adorable!

The description didn't mention a shared space. When we asked for the AC, the 1st receptionist said it's illegal to turn on the AC now because it's not in season. We had to sleep with the window open and got chewed by mosquitos. They didn't have a fan. The 2nd night, the 2nd receptionist gave us the AC remote without issues. This experience would have been better if the first night we would have gotten the ac remote. It makes all the difference. It was was weird that they kept the door key whenever we left the room. They went in our room without us knowing to make the bed. We would have appreciated a do not disturb sign. Other than that, it was a safe hotel.

The property was ok in terms of cleanliness and location. Nothing to write home about. There's a cat inside the premises which is not necessary at all. Out of the four reception staff, one was very rude (not the way to behave with guests), another has to be taught to smile. The third (oriental) was quite nice and the fourth (also oriental) was polite, respectful and helpful. The tall and tattooed person (rude character) doesn't belong there.

Mosquitos in the room and the room is not very clean. Many shoe marks on walls for the killing of mosquitos. Shared toilets and shower is fairly clean. The staff don’t allow you to stay in the lobby which is the common area when you check out because their policy don’t allow which sucks.

Very good Guest House.

It was good staying in this Guest House. The guys on reception were very nice and friendly. The room was big and very clean. The House is close to Milano Grand Central Station and Milano Central Market where you can eat very well all kind of food and it is 25 minutes to The Duomo and Vittorio Emanuel Gallery.

The staff we met the first day was horrible. We came early 11am to the property as our flight reached early, we had written to the property earlier for early check in on whicb they said it can be done at 1pm. The guy at reception refused to listen to us and kept saying 2pm, 2pm only. Then we asked him to keep our luggage, as soon as he took it he asked us to leave. We were with two small and coming from long trip so we asked him if we could stay for 5 to 10mins in the lobby, he was arrogant and repeatedly started saying leave now, not even 2 mins. As we came from outside of country so my wife was only looking at wifi so that we can go to nearby places, this guy even refused us wifi access which was apparently free and said this can only be used once you check in.

I believe hotels should never put their worst staff at the reception who have no courtesy on how to talk with guests expecially with families with small kids.

This was my second stay here and it was perfect!

If you are staying in Milan for a night or two and want to be near the train this is the perfect spot. Great for solo travellers too, very safe!

The subway is by the too, only 4 stops to the duomo and main areas for shopping.

Comfortable bedding. Very clean. Friendly 24hr staff.

The property is in a great location. The facilities and room were good although a little worn however for the price it’s perfect. My only issue was with the staff member as I checked in, he was rude and didn’t explain you had to leave key when you left so chased me downstairs shouting at me saying ‘do you even speak English, it’s not hard’. However every other staff member I saw was great.

The room was ok and the shared bathroom was ok, however before we checked out we asked if we could leave the bags behind and rest for a bit upon our return( walk from Duomo to the house-30 minutes) and we were denied rest! I even asked if we could buy a couple of beers( from their property) to stay in the patio(which was empty) while I rested for like 15 minutes while my cell charged a bit and was denied saying that by that time we would’ve been checked out! We couldn’t stay not even 5 minutes! The resident cat was really cute though!

For a two star hotel I must say it exceeded expectations. One of the cleanest properties we’ve stayed in. The staff were polite and helpful, especially Leo the resident cat. The only thing we didn’t like was the shared bathroom but that is only because we prefer facilities in the rooms we stay in. That being said it was Spotless! Great place to stay for a night or two if you can look past the shared bathroom. Plus it’s located minutes from the train station and metro is close as well.

Clean, spacious room and bathroom. The room was cold but there was an electric heater. The service could be easily improved by providing a kettle or allowing one to use the coffee machine at free hour. Attention to clients is not the highest. I asked if I could borrow a mouse overnight, the query was taken into account lacking conviction, and ended up being refused. Information on shops nearby was kindly provided, not noticing that the shops were closed.

Chose this hotel for it's location between the 2 main rail stations in Milan. We arrived late and left early due to rail connections. We were checked-in easily even though it was approx 11pm. We did not have / book breakfast at the property. Room was very basic, but clean and had AC. Bathroom is shared - and we knew this at the time of booking, so no surprises. It was clean and functional - we were probably the first to use it on the day of departure so can't comment on what it's condition or waiting times may (or may not) have been later. This was a basic hotel and the price reflected that so with our experience I can't really complain. And yes, we saw the cat - very cute - in the reception.

Starting with the breakfast, the selection of items was quite disappointing and limited, with only coffee being the reliable option. To our dismay, when we requested yogurt, we were informed that it had already run out for the day. This left us wondering what else we could eat, as the choices were severely lacking.

The aspect that bothered me the most was the condition of the beds and the constant noise from outside while trying to sleep. The beds had a noticeable sag in the middle, making it incredibly uncomfortable to get a good night's rest. In fact, after just one night, I woke up with back pain caused by the inadequate support. Additionally, the fact that the bathrooms were shared meant that waiting in line was to be expected.

To make matters worse, upon learning about the negative reviews from other customers, we realized our mistake of not checking them beforehand. Had we been aware of the poor feedback, we definitely would not have chosen this hotel. Furthermore, the owner's unprofessional behavior of attacking reviewers with personal details and comments was completely unacceptable in my opinion.

Based on my experience, I believe it's possible to find better hotels within the same price range.

This place is falsely advertised and needs to have things written verbatim of what is offered and what is not offered. The owner is aggressive, rude and disrespectful. Within 2 hours of being at the property, we had to leave and book a hotel elsewhere because my daughter and I had an allergic reaction to a cat that the owner allows to roam around the halls and into our rooms. There are 2 small bathrooms shared with 15 rooms and the toiletries provided are a 7 ml shampoo packet and one towel. There is not even a hand towel in the bathroom. There are no kettles in the rooms. Breakfast is cereal and small muffins which claims to be Italian food. When I wrote a review on Google, the owner attacked us using personal information from our passports and used hateful and discriminatory speech towards us. He called us peasants, ignorant and uneducated people.

I’m not sure how hotels.com can stand behind such a business - the reviews on Google aside from mine are not very good either. Many people complain of the owner being rude and disrespectful. However, he is still on the hotels.com website as an option for people to stay in Milano. It is really disheartening that a website is backing up a motel that is not caring or kind towards any of its customers.

Another issue was that the keys are universal and once you enter the property, you say the room number - so everyone can say whatever room number and it’s not checked if they are in that room - they are just given the key. To keep

Do not book this hotel!!! This is not a hotel, it is a hostel. You are renting a bed- that’s it. Only one shower allowed per day. Shared single bathroom (one toilet and one shower- no soap) with entire floor. No laundry service even though it was advertised at the time I booked my stay. Rude staff. “Cafe” is just an expresso machine on a rolling cart. Hard beds. Limited outlet plugs. Rude staff. No room service/ cleaning service.
If you want to know the attitude of the manager, check out their response to a bad review on google - very immature. It was “safe” but I just didn’t feel safe staying there - just my feelings.

This is an ideal place to stay if you're passing through Milan for a night - within easy walking distance of Milano Centrale rail station and of metro stations. The amenities are basic (eg shared showers) but it's clean, the beds are comfortable and the staff very friendly, and it's very good value for money. One word of warning - you need to book breakfast in advance if you want it, you can't pay on the spot.

Everything was of a good standard and was close to train station. It also has an elevator. Air con costs extra. There wasn't the warmth and helpfulness from the front desk that is common in Italy but this may be because of lack of English and my lack of Italian. All in all good value.

Guesthouse was a short walk from the station and didn’t take too long to walk into the centre of Milan. We had a small bedroom, which was clean and ok for us as we spent most of the time exploring Milan. The shared bathroom was large and clean which was pleasing. Unfortunately you weren’t able to open the outer blinds of the room to let in some natural light, which made the room feel a bit gloomy. Was good value for money, but I don’t think I would stay here again.

Value for money was my problem with this hotel. I paid €103 for a night and all I got was a bed for the night and and a shared bathroom (which was ample in all respects). Even a coffee was going to cost more in the morning. For one person I would expect breakfast at least to be included. The lift was tiny and getting my suitcase through the lift door was a bit of a struggle - in a hotel!

It just didn't come up to scratch.

The position (the reason I chose it) was good between the two stations (Centrale and Garibaldi) so for some this will be a benefit as it was for me.

I would rate it higher, but the night porter was very rude, when we wanted to get another friend in our room just to chill & chat, after which he was going to go to his hotel, our friend was literally kicked out. I do understand hotel policy & understand perhaps its not allowed to have an extra person in the room, but this night porter instead of being polite & explaining to us about why that is not allowed, he started shouting at us & when we asked why is it not allowed, he said i will get police to tell u why its not allowed. I found that totally rude & unprofessional. We were only asking a question, we were not rude or angry, but that guy was full of temper.

However, there are only 2 toilets on each floor so we found ourselves having to wait up to an hour at busy times to shower or use he washrooms.

We chose the Guest House because of its closeness to Milan Centrale railway station. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The wifi connection was good. We had the choice of two shared bathrooms. The one we used had all modern fittings and was also nice and clean. Our stay was only for one night but we would recommend the guest house to others

Decent hostel. No problems while staying their. Check in is at 1 PM and the breakfast buffet begins at 8 AM. There is a cat that is very friendly!

Just the necessities

Clean rooms and bathrooms, bad wifi connection, have to pay extra to use the air conditioning, and not centrally located. If you're looking to be close to the train station, this is perfect, but if you're looking to be in the heart of the city, splurge a little and look more toward city centre.
