IQ Hotel is an excellent location for those arriving or departing by train. The buffet breakfast is good with large selection. Rooms are smaller as is typical of Europe, but comfortable.

Hotels.com showed breakfast included for additional $2/nt which was not honored by hotel.

Complimentary welcome drink is limited to persecco, beer or soft drink...not much of a welcome.

Automatic sink faucet was difficult to use, and sprayed water everywhere. Shower enclosure leaked badly.

This was our second stay at iQ Hotel but will try other nearby hotels on future trips.

My stay at iQ Hotel was wonderful, the staff was amazing. I highly recommend this hotel to stay at when you are in Milan. Where the hotel is located is near other wonderful restaurants. The transportation system in Milan is very easy to learn. This hotel also has an amazing restaurant called Liquido rooftop bar, with wonderful server name Elizabet.

Extremely convenient if you’re arriving or departing from Milano Centrale. There is an elevator which is important if you are traveling with heavy luggage. The rooms are very nice and there are so many amenities I didn’t get to take advantage of. The proximity to the metro station is very convenient. I will warn light sleepers that you may hear the trains. I never felt unsafe in the area and I would happily stay here again.

This is an excellent hotel but there were some noise issues, which they did address. Firstly outside our initial rooms were 2 very noisy air con units from a neighbouring property. We were quickly moved when we realised this. Sadly some rooms are also quite significantly affected by the noise and vibrations from trains passing underneath the property. Again they addressed this quickly and professionally but if you have sensitive hearing it could be a problem. Otherwise, first rate.

The hotel can be seen on rightside of the train station, so convenient and walkable around. The room is clean and spacious and we had all drinks snacks as complimentary waiting for us at arrival. The staff is friendly and efficient. There is a laudry service available as well but it doesn't mention on website. Enjoyed the stay.

Clean room, friendly staff, near the train station. We had to leave a day early to attend a funeral and the front desk offered to prepare a boxed breakfast if we couldn’t sit down. At check in, they gave us a map and circled the train & tram stations nearby to make it easier for us and gave us the prices for different train passes. Would highly recommend. Delicious breakfast with multiple options to suit all dietary restrictions

Staff was extremely cordial and proactively helpful. They accommodated our need to leave a suitcase at their hotel for 2 nights while we visited Venice before returning to the iQ in Milano. This place is VERY customer focused, they show genuine interest in making guests welcome and cared for. We love the amenities! Even though we did not use them all, having the invitation to enjoy anything in the mini-fridge for no cost.

We booked the room for our only night in Milan, but would rebook again in a heartbeat. Staff is friendly, professional, and accommodating. They made us feel right at home for our brief time there. Rooms were clean and modern, bed was good, and I slept extremely well. We had breakfast at the hotel and it was a delicia variety of things. Sad to leave, but hope to return!

My wife and I booked a room here at the last minute and our stay was great! It was our honeymoon and they gave us a free bottle of champagne which we drank on our last night there.

The breakfast was very good and had a lot of options. The building is within walking distance of Milan Central station. The bar on the 6th floor serves food and drinks with nice views and great music in the evening. Just be aware if you stay on the 5th floor, you will hear the music above you. They will also coordinate transportation to both airports if needed, but you will need to pay the drivers in cash once you arrive at your destination.

Overall, a really great hotel to stay at in Milan. Would recommend this place to anyone.

They gave us super treatment. Wheb we got in. It wqs raining they allowed us to change and also had our room ready when we came down stairs. Food location at night are good just go left side of the train station. I felt safe walking around at night. Also if you are using adapter for phones with fast charging, you must turn off your phone when charging in this hotel. The charges get super hot in minutes. So tirn off the phonew when charging and dont charge overnight amy item. The electronics from USA are powerful.

We had a great stay! The hotel is clean, with very helpful staff and an easy, fast check-in/check-out process.
The facilities are great ,the wellness center has a hot tub and sauna (I couldn’t quite figure out how to get the sauna working, but everything was clean and nicely set up, which I appreciated).
Breakfast had a nice selection, and the bar on the 6th floor was a highlight with live music, good cocktails, and a wonderful ambiance.
Overall, a very enjoyable experience!

You can literally see Milano Centrale from the window of the hotel. Very very convenient if you’re traveling a lot using the train/metro. The hotel is small but very clean, smells wonderfully clean as well. The sheets are clean, very comfy. The pillows are great! Room and bathroom are good size. They provide toiletries. They also provide water and juices in your minibar in the bedroom and some snacks. This is the only hotel in Italy that we stayed at (6 hotels) that has an ICE MACHINE! This is very much appreciated especially if you’re there in summer. Also, they have water dispenser and microwave oven that you can access anytime. The front door is always locked for safety. You can open it with your room key or there’s always a desk staff to help you. The staff are all wonderful. Shout out to the Filipinos that were working on night shift (one was cleaning the other at the front desk) they were very cheerful, you can see how happy and proud they are of their workplace.

Desafortunadamente, el metro pasa por debajo o muy cerca de este hotel. Mi habitación estaba en el nivel uno y el ruido, junto con la vibración, no me permitió descansar bien, pasé dos noches muy malas.

Al llegar al hotel, informé en recepción que había reservado una habitación con vista exterior. En ese momento me comunicaron que el hotel estaba lleno y que solo disponían de la habitación que me asignaron. No puse problema, ya que solo serían dos noches.

Sin embargo, el segundo día, cuando regresamos, habían cambiado nuestra habitación sin avisarnos y nuestras pertenencias habían sido trasladadas sin nuestra autorización.

Esta es la segunda vez que nos hospedamos en este hotel y sigue siendo una excelente opción. Está muy cerca de la estación de tren Milan Centrale, se puede ir caminando, lo que lo hace muy conveniente para trasladarse a otras ciudades o para tomar el metro al centro de la ciudad.

Los cuartos son cómodos, no muy grandes pero igual de buen tamaño. El restaurante en el piso superior es una buena opción especialmente si uno está cansado y ya no quiere salir del hotel aunque un poco caro en relación a otras opciones cercanas. El personal es muy amable y dispuestos a ayudar en lo que se necesite.

Es una buena alternativa de hotel si se busca la conveniencia de estar cerca de la estación de tren. La zona alrededor tiene opciones de comida y se siente segura.

I wish there was a rating higher than excellent because this hotel would have it. Breakfast spread is larger than most. Excellent options. Nice dinner menu and reasonably priced. Dea was an excellent server. The Cocktail lounge is very nice. Letizia the bartendress makes the most fabulous cocktails, very friendly and cordial along with the Server that works with her. They are outstanding employees. They even have a nice enclosed smoking area where the restaurant and cocktails are on the 6th floor. The rooms are excellent and very clean with refrigerator stocked with free beverages. This hotel is a 200 M walk from Milan train station. Near shopping, metro and buses. I give this hotel an A++++++++++ rating and highly recommend.

After researching on where to stay in Milan for my solo holiday, I chose to stay at this hotel and I'm so glad I did. The main station in Milan is opposite this hotel so it was very convenient to travel to Verona & Venice. You can hear the trains so if you're a deep sleeper you'll be fine. Staff were attentive and helped quickly when requested additional items (e.g. iron, coffee sachet top ups, etc). They have a rooftop bar, a breakfast area & a smokers area on the 6th floor. The coach station and metro is also very close (near the train station - Milan Centrale).

This hotel is fantastic. We wanted to stay close to the train station. The room is a decent size, even with a queen and twin bed. The bed and pillows are so comfortable.

Nice hotel with modern decor only 3-4 minute walk from Milano Centrale train/subway station. Perfect if you are taking a train into or out of Milan. Friendly and helpful check-in clerk helped us get our bearings upon arrival and suggested where to go and how to get there. Room was small by USA standards but average sized in Europe. Room and bathroom were very clean with modern decor. Comfortable bed and pillows, good AC (important because Milan reached mid 90s F when we were there). Excellent breakfast with large variety, high quality, good coffee, and attentive service.

This was the third location of the iQ hotel chain that we stayed at over the past few weeks. Based on the previous two hotels (Rome and Florence), I had high expectations. The location is within a few minutes walk to Centrale FS which is really convenient. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. While they offered many of the things that the other locations did (free mini bar, free welcome drink, breakfast), it somehow didn't have the same vibe. The staff was more reserved. The food at breakfast always looked picked over, the hallways were dark and narrow and there always seemed to be a housekeeping cart in the hall. Last night there were very loud adult men running down the stairs pushing the elevator buttons on each floor. The elevators are already inadequate for the size of the hotel. Our room was shower only with shower doors that never really sealed so the bathroom floor was always flooded. There is nothing wrong with the hotel; I just expected more.
