This hotel is located with easy access of the Milan Train Station. It is a new and modern fit out which we loved, with comfy bed and spacious bathroom. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance. I would stay here again

The Spice Hotel Milano has a location that is not very convenient for visiting the historic center of the city, as it requires about a 20-minute walk to reach the main attractions. The room was quite small and not very well arranged, with very limited space. There was no proper area to store large suitcases and no drawers to organize clothes, which made the stay less comfortable.

Another downside was that the air conditioning was not operating because it was considered outside the summer season. At times the room became very hot, and the only option was to open the window at night, which unfortunately allowed a lot of outside noise to come in.

Overall, the hotel may work for a short stay near the train station, but the room comfort and temperature control could be improved.

My room very clean and comfortable, staff very polite and accommodating.
Location is fantastic and good value for money.
Unfortunately my room was so warm , I mean really warm.. I would say around 28 degrees or more, I think .
I understand that’s something that is not under management control but it’s really uncomfortable.
I would have given 5 stars but I only stayed for the day time . Staff is great though.

The Spice Hotel Milano is in a perfect location next to Milano Centrale (train and metro station that will take you almost anywhere). However, the hotel is incapable of regulating the temperature in its rooms. I stayed during February 2026 (outside temperature at night 2 degrees Celsius or 35 degrees Farenheit). The thermostat inside stated it was 27.5 degrees Celsius (81.5 degrees Farenheit). Upon telling the front desk, they claimed it could not be adjusted but the \"heat could be turned off\". That never happened. This made sleeping in the room almost impossible. This was too bad as the room had a very comfortable bed, large TV, and spacious bathroom shower. The front desk also did not make any effort to welcome me, add value to my trip, bring any positivity to my stay, or wish me well as I left (lack of hospitality).

Great location for train station and Metro and a couple of minutes walk from the airport shuttle bus stops at the side of the railway station. The staff were friendly, especially the young lady on the front desk who was extremely helpful. Also looked after my case on the final day until I had to leave Milan. It is slightly noisy at night, but that should be expected from a central city hotel.

The room was very modern and clean. Lovely staff too. The only issue was the room was a bit too hot (27 degrees) even if I tried to lower the temperature. The staff told me that it was because of the radiator and the only thing I could do was to open the window, which I wasn’t going to do because there was a footpath in front of my window. But overall I enjoyed the stay and would come back!

The great staff & close to train station were 2 good things I could mention. This hotel charged the price for its good looking facility, but provided least services, a cheap operation to maximize profits. All accumulated inconveniences made me move out to another nearby hotel after 4 days. Major issues were :
1. It used black color in walls & cheap floor make you depressed like in prison.NO lamps on desk, no nightstand lights, only little light behind headboard, I could not read. The room was dark, so were All the public places! if any, the censoring was too quick to discontinue light, like the entrance of my room. I had to borrow a flashlight to work.
2). There provided nothing! no microwave oven, cold/hot water, cups/plates in dining room that you could use. The charge included coffee/tea I was told, but had to ask for it . Basically barebones for every thing. I asked for coffee, they gave me only tea Every time. Coffee must be too expensive for them. There was only one roll of toilet paper, you have to be careful watching your usages. Also, The cheap foreign workers never understand what you said, when I asked for a cup for brushing teeth or soap, after staying long enough.
The reason for my moving out is not stable WIFI. After some time,my cursor kept turning & I kept waiting. I wasted time & lost the results I got, re-did the work & lost again. No job could be done. This hotel provided me all frustrations. I won’t use it again.

Elegant hotel, but oddly they have subterranean rooms, which do smell like a cellar (the air down there is not so good).
Only Italian TV's were available, toilet wouldn't flush well, heavily overpriced breakfast with very little fresh fruits and stale (old bread).
Very small uncomfortable waiting area in a tight lobby.

Heavily overpriced considering all factors, but conveniently close to the train station AND very kind staff.

Never have I experienced a hotel where 1 minute after breakfast is over they tell you to leave because they’re closed and need to clean. Literally have stayed in over 100 hotels while traveling and it is always the same. When breakfast is about to close they ask every guest to get what they need because it will close. Not here. Me and my husband were enjoying the coffee and tea and the end of our meal and at 1101 we’re told they’re closed and need to clean. I went straight to reception and they said they agreed that’s not right. But that was it. I asked for a manager and they stated she would be there the next day. The next day she said she spoke to the person. Agreed that it wasn’t what should happen and apologized. We didn’t have at breakfast again because being told to leave is just ride and ruins your day. We paid for breakfast for every day. There was no.” Let me reimburse you for the breakfasts you didn’t eat because of the rudeness”. No. Just the typical “ this has never happens.” Laughed it off. I’m sorry. Have a great day! With so many hotel options this was just a terrible experience. When we returned to get our luggage. They didn’t check the tags and our stuff was all over the closet. We shopped. Anyone could have pointed at our bags and taken our stuff. Terrible! I do not recommend.

The hotel is beautiful and a big room for us to stay. We enjoyed very much. Except, I would like to have at least two bottle of free water and English TV channels because other hotels in Italy all offer them. Otherwise, it is in a good location to the train station and convenient to walk to the downtown.

No frills, but comfortable and great value for money. The staff were friendly and I was able to store my luggage before check-in and after check-out. Despite my room being on the ground floor and the hotel being in a busy district, I didn't have any problems with noise during the night.

The only problems I had were with the bathroom, which could have been better maintained and had its fan running all the time.

The room was dark, as the lights are insufficient. But the main issue was the bathroom. It was damp and smelly. There was no toilet paper holder, no towel holder, and no light above the mirror. Judging by the low sink, the support handles and the big door it looked like it was an accessible bathroom, however there was no way a person in a wheelchair could go around the room or enter the bathroom. And even though the room was on the ground floor, there were still a few steps to get to the room.

Spice hotel is very close to the Milano Centrale train station so it was very convenient location wise for us as we were spending two nights before catching the train. Staff were helpful and professional the breakfast was great the room was ok the major two problems were that we were on the ground floor so there was a ton of noise from staff and the street at night so its not that quiet you can hear a lot of noises. The bed was comfortable but we were not a fan of the design of the room the concrete walls are strange and its quite dark not the best lighting my husband said it looks like a prison cell. The design of the shower in the bathroom is terrible they need to change it there is no depth to the shower floor it is flat against the floor and nothing but a curtain to prevent water from getting on to the floor you will make a mess every time you take a shower as others have commented. It is a decent hotel but if i had to chose again id go elsewhere.

The air conditioning in room 403 was not working properly, even after a maintenance technician attended. The temperature would not go below 22°C, so it felt more like a fan than an A/C.

The double bed was supplied with only two pillows and no extra pillows or duvet.

The shower curtain was dirty.

Additionally, there was no kettle or coffee provided in the room.

Breakfast it was ok!

The hotel is located very close to the central train station making access to the trains, metro and trams very easy. Our room was good nothing fancy but clean the bed was comfortable. There is one issue I must mention, it was the bathroom. The toilet seat had several cracks in it, the shower pan is a smooth white plastic that gets very slippery when wet and soapy. There was a string hanging down the wall of the shower pulling it we discovered is an alarm to the front desk apparently in case you slip in the shower. That cannot be a mitigation measure for an obvious safety hazard. On the third night of our stay there was a foul odour that came into the room we called the front desk and they sent someone. He did something to the shower drain and it seemed to subside. However on our last evening the odour returned we made a report again. The room was 406 I don’t know if only this room has issue but the hotel seems to be aware that there is a problem. Guest should not have to endure that.

Wouldn’t stay here again. Terrible area and left unsafe in the evening. I checked in with issues with my booking as it was advertised with a double bed a larger room but ended up in a single bed box room, air conditioning didn’t work and requested an extra pillow 3 times before I waiting in the reception to get one.
I even checked out a day early as I disliked it so much and decide to continue with my travels

The spice hotel is the perfect spot for 1 night but I wouldn’t stay longer than that. It’s only a 4-5 min walk to the train station which is what makes it a great stop over spot. That being said There are little to no amenities in the room ( we didn’t have hand soap at the sink only a body wash and an intimate area wash ) the shower has no barrier from getting water absolutely all over the bathroom and the room was pretty loud to outside it sounded like our window was open.
