The location of this apartment was the best part of my stay. Unfortunately, I had a few problems as soon as I arrived. The toilet was continuously leaking, the shower door was broken, the only table in the room was small and wobbly, and the washing machine was broken. The wifi was spotty and so I had to move my laptop and work close to the hallway door. I also had to spend 40 euros to clean my close in a nearby laundromat. The staff was nice and tried to help but unfortunately nothing was fixed.

The room was clean bright and ultra modern. Staff was very helpful, although office is only open 3 to 8 PM. Outstanding location right next to Milan Central Station. The only thing that was missing is a place to hang clothes. Has washer.

The room was clean but very worn. There was marks on the walls and door, wobbly table. The bed sunk in the middle ( we had requested twins and we were given a double). We didn't use the kitchen facilities as we were told that we had to empty our own bins so decided to just eat out. We were going to make a cup of tea but couldn't find a switch in the kitchen area. One of our travellers has mobility issues and we checked there was a lift and noted that it said there was a few stairs up to the ground floor. When we arrived. She struggled getting up the first step as it was very high and then there was a flight of 8:00 to 10 stairs to get up to reception on ground floor. With her mobility aid, this got more and more challenging, And I did say to the apartments that she has a mobile aid.

We also requested a flat that was on the level and was given the only flat in the place that had a step up and then once we're in you had to step down. We met the staff at reception and they seemed lovely. Very close to Central station which was fine, but after 8:00 p.m. did feel a little unsafe. I think if it had cost less like under €80 a night you would look past a lot of its flaws but for the price that we paid it didn't seem worth the money.

I travelled a lot of countries for a long time now. Experienced a lot of excellent and not so good accomodations around. America, europe, asia, mideast. But i havent encountered hotel rules and customer relation as bad as this one.

The room is ok. But as i’ve said i’ve stayed to worst rooms before but the customer service made up for it.

Look for other hotels. There are people who are really not meant for hospitality business. And there are those who aren’t.

Review the actual location before you book !

We booked this hotel twice during the same trip. While the actual rooms were good, the information on the website was misleading regarding the location of Milan Apartment rooms. We booked rooms expecting them to be near Milan Central, but they were scattered across the city - some were across the street from Milan Central, while others were about 15 minutes away by car. This caused issues for our family because we were charged extra per night to make changes and we had to split the family. The administrators argued that the street name was mentioned, but for someone who's never been to Milan, it's hard to know rooms could be so far apart. As for the property itself, the elevator is very small, and the office is only open for a couple of hours.

Our apartment was fine but not in rhe best condition. The location was perfect for Milan centrale, leaving bags was brilliant and the apartment was well located near everything we needed. Shame that aircon which was listed as part of the package was chargeable at 1 euro per hour. Not ideal in this hot weather when you think you have this included. Friendly and helpful staff and a good value stay.

I would strongly advise against booking this place. This place is an absolute scam. The apartment building is unsafe, unhygienic, and feels unhealthy to even step into. The bathroom was filthy, smelled awful, and clearly hadn’t been cleaned in ages. The reality is nothing like the listing photos — they are completely misleading.

I couldn’t even stay here for more than 15 minutes because the conditions were so disgusting. Despite leaving immediately, they still took my parking fee and city tax, and refused to refund my booking cost. I contacted Expedia multiple times with evidence and complaints, but they still denied a refund. This is nothing but a rip-off designed to trap travelers. Avoid this place at all costs — don’t make the same mistake I did.

This has to be the worst place we stayed in our whole month trip the only good thing was that its close to the train station but there are many other great hotels close by. We slept with the windows open in mid july because there was no ac and still got charged for the ac and when I message the person and asked for proof he never send it and didnt accept that we didnt use the ac (we didnt even requested the controllers sobthere is no way we could have used it) The beds are rock hard and super uncomfortable. the bathrooms were not good either.

El espacio es bueno. Está bien ubicado cerca de la estación de trenes. El hoster fue muy amable. Sin embargo, te cobran aparate la hora de aire acondicionado, que es muy necesario en verano. Y te piden dejar 100 euros de depósito, descontándote de ahí el pago del aire acondicionado. Las camas y almohadas eran muy incómodas. El cuarto olía a cigarro. Al final tienes que juntar la basura y ponerla tú mismo en el sótano.

Property not that great as reviews suggested. Its close to Milan central from convenience standpoint. But the room conditions were bad. Sheet smelled. The flush broke a couple of times. Had to call the guy to come and fix. Hidden charge - they said will charge additional for a/c hourly basis. No proper ventilation for air circulation, not even a fan. Don’t have much choice but to pay the extra cost. Wifi service was horrible. Can’t use it in the room. Lastly they also ask you to pick up your trash and drop downstairs before you leave. Don’t really understand why we pay this much to do all this. Will not recommend this place for anyone to go.

Worst place I have stayed in for years!!

They only work 3pm to 8pm
They don’t answer phones. I had no AC and slept with windows open as was so hot the first night. I either got bitten by bugs as a result of having the window open to sleep through necessity or from sleeping on the bed.

Asked for an AC control, no answer and I didn’t want to stay around so I booked another hotel and left the place as you know such people if they can’t give you a remote control how will they give u a refund.

As someone who spends at least half the year travelling in hotels / apartments for work this is my worst European experience in years.

Apartment smelt , notably the bathroom as well and they have a toilet cramped against the wall which is more children size.

Do not recommend at all unless you need a place to store your luggage as was a poor experience overall.

This place was very meh. Still think it’s overpriced. Dingy a bit and a little far from everything. One benefit is that it’s close to central station. I requested the AC controller since it was in the mid 80’s when I visited and the manager refused. If they just cleaned the floors and all the dirt and were more responsive to their guests this place would be way better.

Shower handle had nothing to attach to. Shower sliding door track was broken and dangerous. Fridge didn't work. So, our food spoiled. Mattress was rock hard and slumped down in the middle. We travel a lot and are not very picky. But, this was the worst place we've stayed at in a long time. The only positives are that it's very close to the central train station and had a washing machine in the apartment.

Overall we loved having two apartments side by side, but it was very dirty. I even asked for a mop to clean it. It was modern but dirty. Even the windows were broken. The area was great, but upsetting to find the apartment to not reflect the pictures. When I ran my fingers through the countertops, I can feel the thickness of the dust in the bathrooms and the living rooms. Very dirty.

The apartment is 10 minutes from central station. Strict with the check in, should be 3pm as no one is in the office beforehand. Lift is too small going to your room but it’s still okay. Room looks old but clean spacious. Bed linens looks old, faded color but clean. Supplies of towels are not enough for 3 people for 5 days use. There’s no spare blankets. There’s cooking facilities, cuttleries. Toilet sink is corroded that at first I cannot even use the water for toothbrush but I just get used to it. We had to buy extra toilet papers as the supplies are not enough. Good supply of water from the shower room. Overall stay-good.

The cleaning could be certainly improved. It requires little more care of the place and price could be even increased slightly but please get a serious cleaning company to do the job.

When booking this room, there was no mention of latest check in being 8pm. My partner and I missed our train back to Venice so we needed a place in Milan for the night last minute, so we booked this place as it is close to the station. Only when the booking was confirmed was I told check in latest 8pm and you have travel across Milan to another location to get a key. Upon seeing other residents, they said they had a similar issue and had to wait until the next day to check in, which we could not do. The room was non- refundable so was not able to get my money back (over £100).

There were so much space that's very good and the location is really strategic as it's in front of the Milano Central Station. On the other hand, the bed was small and unconfortable, the fridge's door was broken. There's no possibility to leave the luggage there if you arrive earlier.

The apartment was horrible. The bathroom was dirty, we found a hair on the toilet seat and hairs on the floor which immediately put me off the apartment. The furniture was the cheapest Ikea quality you can get. The table was flimsy, the pillows were old and offered no head support, the mattresses were thin and too soft. There was no soap in the bathrooms and no shampoo, just basic necessities to get you comfortable when you walk into the apartment after a long flight or train ride. The apartment had a kettle but not a single coffee and sugar sachet or a tea bag, just basic things for when you’re staying one or two nights and want to sightsee and not waste time in the supermarket. The elevator in the building was tiny and we had to do many rounds to get our luggage upstairs. We booked the apartment for 6 people so we had a few bags with us. Overall a horrible stay and would not recommend it.

Warning!! This property is NOT what the pictures present when booking! We arrived at midnight after a full day of travel and location and entry were somewhat confusing. There was NO hot water to shower when we arrived!!! Bedding was stained and had hair on it—disgusting! Room is small and not appropriate for a family of 5. Management did not mention on booking site that if you check in after 8:00pm you will be charged an additional $50, and will have to take a taxi 10-15 minutes away from the facility to register and get the key. This is incredibly inconvenient and UNSAFE when you arrive at 11:00pm with a family. When we contacted management to cancel they refused!!! Management had no concerns about a family waiting over 45 minutes at the train station while a family member went to register, come back, and then walking at midnight to find an apartment in the dark! Terrible…Terrible…Terrible! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

Beware: if you are booking this hotel because it’s close to Centrale train station, IT IS NOT. The address is of the check in office. You will then be told to travel 1.7 KM to Via Pola, 19. I specifically booked this hotel for its proximity to the station because my sister is handicapped and has difficulty walking. I think this is deceitful and just wanted to alert others!

Upon checkin the first thing I asked was to confirm there are 2 king beds as this is why I specifically chose this apartment. The receptionist informed me there is one king and one sofa, so the advertising for this property is incorrect as THERE ARE NOT 2 KING BEDS. When we entered our apartment the sofa bed wasn’t made up so I had to look for the linen and make it up myself. The king bed that was there was as hard as a rock. Literally I woke up with a sore back. The air con in the room with sofa bed wasn’t cooling well. The other one worked ok. The iron cord was not safe. All frayed, wires exposed. Location is good close to station but to be honest I couldn’t wait to leave.

Extremely Disappointing Experience

Unfortunately, our experience with this property was not only disappointing, but also the worst ever. The primary issue lies in the cancellation of one of our rooms from part of the property, for which we did not receive any refund. This led to a great deal of inconvenience, compounded by the poor service and extremely unprofessional communication from the property management.

Our first night was a disaster. Despite our efforts to communicate almost a day in advance of our travel, we did not receive any response. This lack of communication resulted in not being able to access any of the rooms that we had booked. Left with no other option, we were forced to stay at a nearby hotel at our own expense, for which the property refused to provide a refund.

Overall, the experience left us feeling frustrated and taken advantage of. We were not treated with the respect or professionalism that one should expect when booking a property. We strongly recommend potential guests consider our experience before deciding to stay here.

Did not receive the accommodations I booked and paid extra for. Two king sized beds are not the same as one double bed and one sofa bed. Manager said he had no authority to change my room. Did not attempt to help, I tried for 5 hours to get some resolution and was told by the manager that Expedia mis translated the listing and when I contacted Expedia they said the manager told them I received the correct room with double beds. I clearly did not.
I had 5 people in my party and beds for 4. Manager did not even tell us about the extra bed even when he came up to the room to look for it.
We ended up finding it by mistake and had enough beds for my party but we’re greatly disappointed in the communication and the hotel’s unwillingness to help us. We also observed another gentleman with this same problem in the managers office at the same time we were informing management about our incorrect room.
Do not book with this apartment hotel. It’s cheap, yes. It’s next to the bus station, yes. You will be dissatisfied in the run down unkempt state of the apartment as well. Not at all worth it if you don’t receive the room as advertised.

This place is the worst place in Milan i booked. We arrived to the place no one open the door for my us. I inform them my arrival time, i have kids and elderly traveling with me in that cold place, we tried to emailed and call the number they post it outside the building the number is incorrect and the email is postmailer its undelivered email. We have no place to stay we tried to wait for another hrs but no one response to us. So we end up booking another hotel to stay for just 1 night cause we have early train for the next day, to our next destination. Tried to contact customer service here in Expedia but they said they cannot do anything as the booking already ongoing. the property dont care if the guess arrived or not, they just collect payment. I already paid for this property ahead of time and no instruction given.
I highly Dont Recommend this Property. Every irresponsible.. i feel this property is a Scam.

I'm an Orbitz platinum VIP member, I had a really bad experience with this reservation.
The house was in a very poor condition, the sofa bed was very dirty and not a sleeping condition sofa bed. The owner was rude and charged us an extra fee for using electricity ($10/day) and a late fee charge. This house should not be listed on Orbitz as it does not meet the Orbitz website standards.

This property was affordable and very close to the Milan train station in walkable distance. Amenities were great except that the washing machine in my room would not turn on. Beware When Pre-Paying (Non-refundable)

Firstly the apartment was in a good location next the station, clean and felt reasonable safe in the area.

If you're going to book the non refundable offer make sure you pay up front and not on arrival. On arrival the rental company claimed they should have already been paid before I arrived and then tried to make me pay the daily rate. Even though the booking clearly showed I was meant to pay on arrival. Luckily Hotels.com helped resolve this but still had to pay more than double the original price.

This selection was made based upon using the Expedia Map showing properties close to the main railway station as I needed to travel every day to Lugano. When I arrived at the property I was informed the Annex was some 1.4 KM away this location was not indicated in the Expedia app or reference to the distance from the main location.

The property (Zara) has broken / cracked work surfaces, dirty walls, cracked walls, shower hoses that cannot fix the shower head in one location, dirty sofa.

The pictures on the Expedia site are impressive they do not represent the Zara apartment.

Despite my complaints the owners and Expedia done nothing, I am now taking other action to solve this miss sell.

Location: good, near to train station and supermarkets.

Room condition: average, was not happy with the rooms. We thought there was supposed to be 2 bedroom, instead, its only 1 bedroom, the other so called bedroom was in the living hall n using sofa bed which was old n shaky. Abit inconvenience caused.

I found apartment not matching my expecatations.
1. Too small
2. Bathroom was dirty. No space to keep toiletries
3. Kitchen was very average, hardly any utensils in there
4. Sofa bed was very uncomfortable

Excellent location

Very secure apt in an excellent location, close to Centrale train station, tram and metro system.
Reception staff very helpful.
The balcony was a nice surprise with being in the city.

Close to main station, so noisy. Not cleaned !

The flat was not what I expected. The kitchen was a pigsty and only after I complained to Expedia, would someone come and clean it. The amount of dirt and dust under the bed was incredible ! Papers from previous occupants left in drawers. Seats not clean either.
The potential extra charge for air conditioning was not notified until arrival.
I could not recommend this accommodation, based on my experience.
I was stunned that no compensation was offered.
Hopefully hotel read and clean it as if clean the room would have been nice. The manager only really wanted to argue his point - just sort it out !!!

Apartments in a great location for the traveler.

The location is excellent for the traveler who wishes not only to enjoy the city, (three stops away on the Metro,) but who wishes to explore the surrounding towns and country. The connivence of Milan central station makes this possible and finally gives quick access back to the airport.
The apartment was commodious and well maintained, although a little noisy at times from the echoes from guests on the stair case. It was safe and secure and private and reasonably priced.

Good location for train travel

Location was fantastic, kitchen and bathroom were good. But a couple of things let it down. Apartment central heating was cold at night. Expedia did not advise only one nights toilet paper provided (which is unusual for a multi night stay for 5 people!). Also we had to make up the 3 kids sofa beds which we haven't experienced before. Last, they told us we had to clean the kitchen after use, so we didnt use it. Strange since we paid a cleaning fee.

Needs maintenance but close to the Milano Centrale

The apartment was spacious but we were surprised to be asked to clean the kitchen before we left. We were even asked to take the garbage out and make sure that we recycle what could be recycled. The kitchen counter top was cracked to the point that if it failed it could create a huge mess. It needed maintenance.

Overall we had a nice stay at the Apartment. The place was bright and roomy. The equipment and facilities were adequate but we were suprised that we were given only one roll of toilet paper for 4 adults for 3 nights stay. We had to adjust to the order when cooking for we had to readjust the fuss a number of time. My daughter and son-in-law found they needed to adjust their aleeping positions frequently on the sofa bed because of the support bar and the mattress was not tick enough. Apart from that, we had a great time in Milan.

Had a nice stay at Milan Apartments rental.

Location is very convenient, close to train and Metro.
Nicely furnished apartments.
Stayed here twice and would book again. Little things might not be perfect, but could easily be overlooked.
These apartments seem to me worth the price.
Having a kitchen is such a big plus, even if you don't cook much.
Friendly people. Happy with my stay.

It was cold in Milan during the day and colder at night - around 40F.
we arrived late afternoon and after checking we went for a walk and have dinner.
we arrived back to the apartment around 11pm, watch TV, and started to feel after a while that it is cold. we looked for the AC remote and didn't find it. so we added 2 extra blankets and went to sleep. It was a cold night !!!!!

in the morning we understood that we will have the same problem every night of our stay
1 - the AC is only used in the summer.
2 - the heating is done by radiators in the wall and it is shut off from midnight till 6AM - Milan law
3 - management doesn't have any electric heater to lend
4 - management solution: add an extra blanket and don't open the windows ?!!!

all the communication with management was done using the whatsapp application on the phone. (?!)
the office is close during the day and sometimes opens ONLY at 3pm so you need to arrive back to the apartment if you want to have a normal conversation with management....(?!) we rented in the past apartments in different cities in the world and we NEVER had a problem like that...tourist should have a chance to speak with someone in an office in order to solve problems....
and last remark which is a little ridiculous - we need to clean the kitchen if we use it and throw out the garbage !!!!

we were very, very disappointed - and we paid $130 a night !!!

Live like a local in Milan

We were very pleased with our stay at this apartment in Milan. Be aware this is not a hotel, but a private apartment. Our unit had a large living room, full kitchen, good size bedroom and bath. There could have been more necessities like paper towels and soap for the dishwasher supplied, but overall, it was a great value for money in Milan.

Nice Hotel Alternative Close to Train Station

Perfect for 3-4 people. Great that it has a washer and dryer. Lots of street noise if you are sleeping in the front room on the foldout, but it the bedroom is quieter. It's a bit of pain to pick up keys and then walk to apartment, but not an overwhelming task. The one bedroom apartment has all the necessary accruement, but don't plan on cooking any five course meals. All in a good place, convenient to metro and train, I found it overpriced by about 30-50 Euros per night.

This apartment is in an excellent location and as an apartment it is adequate, but the furnishings and supplies are sparse. We were there for a week, but the office was never open, although supposedly it had set hours of 15:00 to 20:00.

Don't forget the toilet paper

The hotel will ask u to clean before u leave, will not give u towels unless u ask for and they will only once regardless of how long u stay, toilet paper u must bring, they will take a security deposit that u most probably loss because u left the room dirty - not up to \" slandered\" - location is good but service - employees as very rude - me personally I would pay 20 € extra and go to a different hotel down the street.

location is all I can say. only 5min from train station. but this hotel is rental apartment so there is limit to use electricity and hot water. but unless you leave air condition all day you should be fine. hot water limited to 8 liter hot water then takes half hour to warm up. but it was hot day so I didn't need much hot water anyway. elevator was tiny. you have lots of bulky luggage you better do couple trip to the room.
wash and dryer on site. it was convince to do my laundry at night.
over all it wasn't too bad for couple nights in Milan.

Not as advertised.

Pictures do not represent this apartment correctly.

From the beginning I had problems with this apartment. I booked a nonrefundable room without hesitation because Expedia advertised that the apartment had cribs available upon request. I requested two, as we traveled with twin one year olds. I was contacted immediately and told no cribs were available. No problem, I thought. I contacted Expedia and said, \"this was advertised wrong. Can I have my money back? I only booked it a few hours ago..\" I was told I had to work directly with the apartment.

Contacted the apartment and they said they never offered cribs and that I would not be getting my money back. I have copies of the emails in which the responses were rude and unprofessional. I finally sent them a screenshot of where a crib was offered and was told that for 50 euro they would fix the one crib they have and I could rent it. No thank you.

Tried being positive. It was just for one night, so I went in with a positive attitude.

Television cords were exposed, tea kettle had previous guests water in it, refrigerator had previous guests water bottle in it. Den smelled like smoke. Blanket had long black hairs all through it.

We left immediately and checked in at a hotel up the street. The man who checked us in was friendly and accommodating and asked if there was something he could do, but there was nothing he could do to correct this situation for us in the moment.

The location is excellent!! Very close to the train station. We stayed there for a few nights. It is convenient to have washer, the weather is dry enough that our clothes are dry the next day. However, towels and bedding doea not get changed throughout our stay there, or we have to pay 40 euro. Also, be expected to do your own trash sprting. The contract is in Italian. Good that our deposit are all returned.
Staff are excellent in email response. highly appreciate that.

Practical and spacious apartment for family

Great location. Good reception on admission. Clean, modern & spacious apartment enough for family of 5. Stayed during winter season. The only complaints I have is the heaters which are covered thus not allowing the hot air to fill up the big apartment. With the marble floors, it was quite A bit cold at night. Had to wear socks while staying inside

Honest feedback - a lot of improvements required

I'm sorry to write this but it had been a very unpleasant 5 nights stay for a family of 4.

The floor is very dusty upon our arrival on a Sunday evening. The corridor and the entire apartment reeks of frying onions everyday (we concluded the hob had not been cleaned for a long time and connected to other apartments) after complaining, they finally sent someone to re-mop the floor and spray deodorizer on the floor. But unfortunately, no sweeping nor vacuuming, all the dust went under the sofa bed instead. As dusty as before.

The extras blankets are stained. No extra towels, nor bed linen for 5 nights stay. After complaining, I got 2 extra face towels for 4 pax!

The hot water boiler for bathing is insufficient for 4 very quick baths. The warmer turns off from 11pm to 6am esp. when it's freezing at night. The doors and windows are not tightly sealed, so the rooms are always very cold. The noises from the street are very obvious throughout the day and night as the ambulances, tram and buses passes by very often.

The old fashioned elevators are only good for 2 person at one time. Very inconvenient for a family with big luggages.

Only plus point, it is the location. Within walking distance to metro, train, supermarkets and eateries.

Not Really a hotel

This apartment is very close and convenient to the Centrale Station, metro, and supermarkets. It was very tiny for four adults. The kitchen was for one person at a time only. Management turned off the heat, even when we requested it be turned on, there was no response. The toilet seat was loose, we had to fix it ourselves although we mentioned it to the young man who worked at the desk. There were dust bunnies under the sofa bed and behind the small rolling drawers in the bedroom. We appreciated the elevator, the appliances, and the efforts to recycle.

Terrible management, good location

Only good thing about this place is its location to the central train station. Apartment managers were rude, kept making excuses regarding their hours and services they offered. Would commit to something verbally but refuse to acknowledge it when you asked for their service. On trip advisor they continually make excuses and petty comments on their customer reviews - not at all professional.
