Photos of the gym are outdated. It’s now a bunker. Hotel was not sympathetic to my request for partial refund. Didn’t really care. The overall vibe of the hotel is drab and the tiny room has a depressing view onto a tiny courtyard. I would not recommend.

A beautiful hotel near a key metro station and a short walk from points of interest. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room service was excellent. It seemed the entire staff was English-speaking, and they were more than willing to help. I definitely recommend this hotel. It’s a beautiful property, but the great people were what really made the difference.

2. I extend my stay for 5 days, even I got confirmation to stay in same room, I surprised, they moved me to a room for disabled people which looks like hospital. But when I refuse it, they moved me to a normal room which were available at the beginning.
3. They claim to have parking :) For a 15 stories hotel - 8 parking places and 2 of them are occupied by hotel, this mean 1 parking place for each 16 rooms.
4. No destinations !!

Other than their restaurant everything was great. As a single they would not seat me and when I tried to order room service from them they hung up on me. Plenty of good places to eat close by though.

The rooms with the separate beds get small blankets and you have to use the bedspread so that you do not get cold at night .. The shower is really poor and barely water comes out under pressure and there is no shower door and it is very cold. Very cozy hotel. We rested aJunior Suite and it was spacious. The hotel staff are very attentive. Breakfast and dinner menus are great. Although most businesses were closed due to Covid lockdown, the hotel’s location is ideal for walking with shops and restaurants and parks nearby.

I did have an issue with my safe as well as an issue last time when i stayed at that hotel. That being said, the staff handled it extremely professionally. I stay in a lot of hotels and various issues do come up from time to time so i am not concerned with the things that go wrong i look at the way they are handled. I stayed in a few hotels in Kyiv and this one is my favorite. Great location and great staff.

Kyiv's City Hotel is a newer highrise located on the northwest fringe of downtown Old Kyiv. Very well situated. Safe neighbourhood, lots of shops, eateries and parks nearby. This was a super clean and comfortable room with a balcony and water, tea, coffee replaced daily. The breakfast in the Matisse restaurant at the top of the building was a huge let down and VERY expensive. Whilst the view was amazing, the staff were surly and grumpy. They didn't offer any coffee even though the machine wasn't working and didn't offer the hot breakfast. Also the hotel is quite a walk from everywhere unless you get the metro ( 7 minutes walk away) . We had room service breakfast which was definitely good value for money. The beds were amazing and overall we had a lovely comfortable stay.

Clean with friendly front of desk staff. Location is ok. Embassy district is quite quiet. Hotel offer airport pickup for €35; I recommend paying ~€3 for an Uber instead. Also avoid the rip off €15 pp breakfast and the Matisse restaurant. The Matisse service is poor and the food is overpriced.

This hotel is value for money. The hotel located in an excellent area. Also staff are very friendly, helpful and polite. The downsideis (of course from my point of view) is the breakfast. The hotel charges 15 Europe for the breakfast (limited choice) which I think is expensive for some people who would like to have breakfast at the hotel.

We stayed in junior suite on 13th floor with a lovely view. Hotel is conveniently located in the city center, yet quiet. Room was clean with a comfortable bed and plenty of storage space, with a living room had a small kitchenette. The front desk staff was helpful and polite. Overall a very pleasant stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

The location of the building is right near the center, and walking distance to the opera house and many other sites. The staff were super friendly, very helpful English speaking staff. Enjoyed the room, very clean, and hot water always available when needed. It was a bonus to have a restaurant for breakfast at the very top floor, 15th floor, with many options available. I would stay here again if I planned another visit to Kyiv. Thank you very much to all the staff that made my stay the most enjoyable stay in all of my trips.
