Everything is very positive. Clean. Good service. Good breakfast. Easy walkable to the train station, metro. There is a bus stop of buses going to Malpensa Airport (10 euro/person).
The only negative is - it is a train station area. But, we did not have any problem. It seems it is safe there.

One night in Milan

Tucked away in an odd area, though near the train station. Questionable safe. Many branches of police station led in front of the station. Hotel located a couple blocks away on the backside. Not great maybe, traveling solo, at nighttime. And limited amenities.

The room was spacious and soundproof but the aircon was not great. The shower could only be used as a handheld which was inconvenient and it leaked onto the bathroom floor. The cleaning staff were great! The location is super convenient to the station and centrale mercato however it definitely felt a bit unsafe at night.

Decent hotel 2 minutes from the station

As many city centre hotels, parking is ridiculous. Use the station car park instead to save the stress.

Exceptionally convenient location, even better than it appeared on the map, in relation to the Central Railway Station.
Room cleaned every day and fresh towels provided.
The staff was polite and helpful in every aspect.

Nice place and friendly, helpful front desk. Room was overall nice and clean. Beds were ok, pillows were ok. Check in was easy. Front desk let us store our luggage after we checked out and went out for the day. Location was really great, being right next to the train station. Good place for a fair price.

Flooded shower and shower room floor

Shower room floor was flooded and after we told them, they told us it was fixed second day of our stay. But it was not fixed and all three nights of our stay at this hotel had flooded shower room and flooded bathroom floor. The side by bottom of shower door had some hole. Each time we took shower, water came out and floore was also flooded by toilet stole. Side of our room was busy street and we had terrible noise throughout evening.

Poor outdated hotel, but on doorstep of station

Stayed at this hotel as hub to visit Milan, the Lakes and Parma for a mini break. The hotel is very outdated and basic - probably not had any modernisation for 20-30 years or so. Most of the fittings in the room didn't work and cleanliness could have been better. Staff at the desk had an odd demeanour. The area is find, but it is sort of a red light district at night. Biggest pro is it's proximity to Milan Centrale and the metro network.

Basic Hotel near Milano Centrale

I booked this hotel because it's very close to Milano Centrale and it's convenient if you need to use the Airport shuttles or trains. Metro station is also nearby. But the area itself in this part of Milano Centrale is not clean and there are always dodgy people around it.
The hotel itself is quite basic and the bed matress is not comfortable at all. The price was cheaper than at the other hotel as we stayed during Milan Fashion weeks and the prices were up a lot compared other times.
The breakfast was quite basic too and if you need to luandry your clothes it takes 2 days if you order in the afternoon.
The staff is friendly though and ready to assist.

Was a bit reluctant because of some of the negative reviews. It’s great value for money. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more helpful. The shower could be bigger but I’m 6’4” and it was ok for me. The air conditioning worked perfectly and the soundproofing was excellent. The beds were comfy. There are lots of local shops and places to eat. The resto next door is a great value for money place. It’s a really nice hotel! No coffee making facilities.

Stayed there two nights. Unfortunately it was raining and my room was next to roof of some building and I could hear the rain noise all night. Not the best nights I ever slept. Overall it was Ok stay. Not far away from the Milano Centrale train station which is perfect location if you are travelling by train.

Very close to the Central Station,quite a few restaurants nearby, metro close.
But the hotel itself was a disappointment for me. I don't think I was even born when it was the last time refurbished. Staff are nice but if you look around you just want to go elsewhere. My room faced the main road and the window didn't shut properly so it was quite noisy. Minibar poorly equipped. Flat screen TV is about 19\", so unless you're directly in front, no chance of watching anything. OK, you're not there to watch TV. I didn't anyway. Internet was quite good, pretty fast for a hotel.
For breakfast very little choice, however coffee was good.

Arrived and the front desk attendant wasn't there, but returned after a few minutes or so...but for a minute there, I thought the place was closed! In any case, this hotel is diagonally across the street from Station Centrale, so get off the Metro there, instead of Sondorio Station, which is the mistake I made. But even still, not far from that station either.

Excellent location to Milano Centrale!

Less than a 2 minute walk from station down to the corner and into hotel. Staff multilingual and very helpful with tour and Metro info. Beds firm. Not super fancy but had all necessities. Room was very quiet also. Definitely recommend!

The hotel is old and dated, the rooms were not comfortable and very hot as the aircon did not work. The breakfast was ok. Breakfast started at 7.15 odd time. The reception was dark and dingy. The location was very close to Central Station. The lady at the reception was helpful and gave us a lot of important information. The two guys were in a world of their own.

The Plus:
Hotel staff are very nice and we really enjoyed having a good hotel in a very short walking distance from Milano Centrale. The room was spacey with a comfortable bed, safe to lock valuables, small veranda, hardwood floors, and very clean, which was nice for morning floor exercises. . They served us with hot water as much as we wanted to prepare coffee and tea. Breakfast buffet was served at a low cost (5 Euros) nice and a lot of choices. The front desk people were very knowledgeable. They gave us ample of great tips for the Metro and places to visit, and recommended a superb restaurant,

The minus:
Air conditioning/heating control was not functioning and the room was very hot in the morning.
Bathroom is very old and the plug does not hold the water

This hotel is located right next to the Milano Centale Train Starion. I caught the airport bus from Malpensa Airport and the stop is next to hotel. Hotel is ok and room is small. Great for one night.

Clean and convenient stay. Around the corner from the station, and don't know of ANY city where this is the greatest neighborhood. Would select again if train station convenience is desired. Nice breakfast. Great staff service. Smallish elevator, but at least they had an operating elevator!

In need of renovation

Hotel is close to the train station but it is a bit dated and maybe a renovation is in order, especially the toilet. During the morning breakfast there's only 1 lady staffing the restaurant and out of my 3 mornings there I only ever get asked for coffee once, due to the restaurant being understaffed. She was so busy running around (cleaning tables, taking out coffees, refilling the buffet spread, etc) and no longer wear a friendly face.

The hotel was very nice and convenient to all major transportation like rail, bus and Hop on Hop off. About an hour bus ride from airport and two hour train ride to Florence. Desk clerks had little info or help on sightseeing. No one to help with luggage.

Basic, clean hotel with good breakfast

It is a basic hotel with old decor and furniture with basic amenities. Room is small so not much to enjoy the time in it. It is basically a great hotel for sleep in and get out. I have stayed for a quick night before a morning train ride from Milano Centrale Train Station. Quick check-in and check-out. Quite room, working wifi & hot water :) (Although the shampoo makes the hair like a broom :)) Breakfast is as good as described by others. I wasn't expecting the breakfast to be this option-friendly. Over all, if you are not going to spend time in the room and need a basic hotel with satisfying breakfast, Hotel Albert is the way to go.

Great choice, 3 mins walk from the train station, and 1 minute frI'm where busses leave to/arrive from the airport. Room not completely modern but no problems. Bathroom newly rennovated. Breakfast good -great coffee! It's not 5 star but if it was you'd be paying for that! Totally recommended as a place to stay.

The condition of the hotel and room was just OK. I'm surprised it's a three star hotel, especially for the amenities it provided.
The room was facing the street and it was very noisy at night. The room was also very tight. Can barely have space to open the luggage.
The only good thing is the location.
I didn't have their free breakfast.

Hotel served purpose for our 1 night stay in Milan. Despite being at the corner of busy streets, it was relatively quiet. For breakfast, be prepared to boil your eggs!
