Great customer service and location is ideal rooms are big and ideal , close to metro station and Milan terminal about 5 min walk. Breakfast option was pleasant and washable to stay an extra night with last minute change in plans. plenty of restaurants outside the hotel and area felt safe

Great location, close to Central station. Lots of dining options in the area. Metro station is near by. You can walk to city center in 20 minutes. Hotel amenities are pretty basic. Staff is pleasant and very helpful. Overall, it was convenient for me for a short visit in Milan. Nothing fancy, but affordable, decent and convenient. Area is safe. Location is a plus!!! Will def stay there again.

The hotel is quite old and really needs a good clean and make over. Toilet leaks every time we flush. Overall, we stayed for 3 nights, the location is great because is very close or walking distance from main train station.

Very close to the station, but if you want a good nights sleep this is not the place for you.
Flat pillows, very hard beds, two singles put together so a split in the middle, noise from the window shutters clatter all thru the night so got very little sleep.
Expensive for the place but convenient to walk into town and the station.

Just a one night stay. The room is big but had mold on walls in restroom. The blow dryer doesn’t work. No free breakfast the charge $12.00 for breakfast even coffee. It’s located close to train station and there’s nice restaurants nearby except there’s dishes banging at 2 am since there’s a restaurant next door

Wasn't expecting much from this hotel but it was all I could budget for (€406 for 3 nights, room only). When I arrived there were men sititng on the front step smoking which was quite intimidating arriving in the dark. There was always a man or 2 smoking at the entrance. The reception area stinks of cigarettes as a result. I was travelling solo but managed to get a double room for single use only. Great size of a room and a double bed. The room while very dated, was clean and the bed was comfortable. I read other reviews of noise and hard bed but this wasnt the case for me. The street outside has mutliple restaurants and it does get noisy but once the windows were closed it was fine. I was awake early every morning but it seemed like a street that was quiet to traffic. The bathroom and specifically the shower was a let down. It was an in bath shower and was advertised as a rainfall showerhead. It was a very small space and pointed directly at the shower screen which leaked profusely and nearly caused me to slip on my 1st night.
The close proximity to central station is most definitely a plus. Its a 2k straight walk to the Duomo, plenty of restaurants in the area. I was able to leave my bags there after I had checked out and didnt incur another fee. They do serve breakfast at an additional cost.

About 6 minutes from Central Train Station. 35 minutes walking to Duomo, but metro is close by. Property is a typical Italian 3 star hotel. Room was clean. Breakfast was simple without hot eggs, but Ludmila, the lady that takes care of breakfast, is great and brought us hot hard boiled eggs and makes a great cappuccino. Gym is small with 3 equipments for a full body workout.Overall a great place to stay if you are planning to sightsee all day.

The hotel is very close to the central station, and only 6 station to the Duomo. You will find many restaurants near the hotel. The only problem we had was with the parking, on the property description at hotels.com there was a information about the hotel having on-site parking, but when we arrive they do not had this option, and on the street parking you have to pay per hour from 8am to 8pm. But in that case I’m not sure if it was the hotel promoting it wrong or hotels.com issue. Because I contact hotels.com and they said from their end the property do not have on-site parking, only off-site parking, but on the hotels.com website the information was on-site parking. So if you are considering this hotel, you should consider that.

Hotel Mennini near Central Station Milan

The room and bathroom were very clean, with good towels, soap and shower/hair wash, and slippers to use. Only breakfast is available in the hotel, but excellent cafes are literally just round the corner. The Central station is near, walking distance unless you have very heavy luggage. No problems turned up, so it is a good hotel, but not luxurious.

We absolutely loved our time with Hotel Mennini. We were looking for a location that was easily accessible to the central train station for our arrival yet also for a seamless commute to Piazza del Duomo to see the sights. This was it! What was even more appreciated was how wonderful the entire staff were upon our arrival and during our stay. They welcomed us and our little dog so warmly and we were truly grateful for that. A fantastic location, comfortable rooms and welcoming staff. Thank you so much!

This Hotel is very close from Central FS station. Friendly reception staff. Air conditioner in our room was not working. We tried to watch Netflix but the there wasn’t any Netflix channel. During morning breakfast, we noticed that the lady serving breakfast was rude and unfriendly. But she was very friendly and polite with guests who are white (we are from Indian subcontinent ). It is very disrespectful to the people of different skin colour. Breakfast was just fine and minimal.

This is a very old hotel and is currently undergoing facade renovation. The room was small and had a strong smell of cigarettes. The bathroom definitely needs some major makeover. On the positive side, the staff was very helpful and friendly. The bed was large and comfortable. Breakfast was good, cafeteria had all the basics. Early check in at 10 am is a great option for someone coming in from a red eye intercontinental flight. The area is close to the central station and has multiple dining options within just a few steps.

This was a last minute trip to Milano and I was looking for a hotel close to the train terminal so I can make an early flight to the airport. This hotel marks the spot. The hotel appears to be an older hotel that was refurbished. The decorum looked updated and very white and clean. The bed however was hard as a rock and the pillows are a bit flat for me. Good thing there were extra pillows in the closet that I was able to use. The bathroom definitely needed a bit of help. Again, it’s clean but it’s small and didn’t have shelving to put your toiletries. In fact they put a small chair under the sink so they have a place to put the towels.

It’s not the most quiet hotel in the day time. If you try to sleep past 9am, there’s some sort of scraping and drilling you hear outside. But if you’re out most of the day, it’s not too much of an issue. I was only there for 2 1/2 days so it’s not so bad for a short stay. If you’re there for a real vacation, you might want to look elsewhere like a Marriott or a Westin.

Great location, good service and satisfactory room

Location is great, just a 5-minute walk from Milano Centrale train station and metro links.

The hotel room itself needs a fresh coat of paint but was cleaned every day! The room was a decent size with twin beds and a good-sized bathroom with a powerful shower. There was more than enough storage space for us both. My dad did find the pillows particularly hard for sleeping.

There was also a bit of noise during the night from surrounding restaurants and bins being emptied!?

Staff on the front desk were friendly and good-natured.

The price was fair in my opinion and filled our needs absolutely fine. There was an additional city tax of £8 a night which was paid on check-out.

The location is the best part of this place, less than 10 mins to Milan Central Station and metro. Lots of dining and drinking options within a 5 min walk. The hotel matches the photos and the staff are lovely, no issues with cleanliness. The room itself does not match the photos and is quite basic. The bed was two singles.pushed together and it was very firm, we joked that we were sleeping on a table. The pillows were also rock hard.

Overall would recommend as it was clean, convenient and the breakfast was good, but it wasn’t the comfiest night’s sleep we’ve ever had.

Simple, clean hotel room

Simple, clean hotel room. One physical key, not key cards, so everyone comes and goes at the same time. Not the kind of place you sit and relax in the hotel room--you'd get bored--but you're in Milan, go walk outside! Also close to the train station, which is very convenient, especially for little day trips to nearby cities.

The hotel itself is a joke, I don't even understand how Expedia lists this property. Overpriced, dirty, bathroom is a joke, and the AC didn't work on a hot night and we had to sleep with the window open. I went down to reception and talked to the front desk, who said they'd send someone. Fact is, the place is so bad that we did not bother waiting. The only positive is proximity to the train station, but I'd look for another place to stay.

Breakfast buffet was delicious and fresh! A good base if staying in Milan or using trains to travel to other parts of Italy. We used scooters to get to the main sights and back to hotel.

Treated Like Family.

The staff at this hotel are legendary. We had a medical emergency while in Milan and hotel personnel were extraordinarily helpful and kind. Breakfast in the hotel was excellent. The hotel is situated in a neighbourhood with a number of restaurants, and a number of other services. It's not too far from the Duomo by taxi. The room we had overlooked a sweet little intersection of restaurants. Again, the staff made all the difference with their invaluable care and concern, Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

Listing mentions AC, but it wasn’t working when we got there. When we called reception, they said they can’t put the AC on because it’s October (though the weather was warm). We were sweating in the room and had to call up several times for 2 hours for staff to turn on the AC centrally.

The next day, we went out for the day. Upon returning, the AC remote mysteriously disappeared and we could not turn on the AC. We called reception and, although they denied removing the remote, handed another one to us anyways. They still had the AC off centrally, so we had to call them several times over 2-3 hours begging them to turn the AC on.

Because of this, we did not get a full good-quality sleep on all our nights here.

Staff were kind and not rude, though their AC policy needs to be more transparent on their listing/ be flexible.

Hotel was at a brilliant location as the central station was 5 minutes away. We used the station for local transport as well as the shuttle to fashion outlets and the airport

We were given a room that was more like an attic, the room looked nothing like the picture we saw it was very depressing. The air conditioning was not working yet so we had to open the windows because the room was very stuffy, but there is a bar in front of the hotel that was open until 2:00 am so it was very noisy. Overall I hated the hotel!

Location is really good for the price, close to the Centrale Station, with metro access, also the room itself was clean and satisfying for our stay in Milan.
The breakfast didnt have the biggest range of food available but man serving it was really friendly and had a very positive vibe.

Hotel is very well located to the main train station, which was the main priority for me. Average of 20 minutes walk into the centre, but public transport options available. Quite noise outside at night, but not the hotels fault! Could do with updating, but the price for Milan was reasonable enough
