The staff attitude and level of service at this hotel were extremely disappointing. I have stayed at ME London twice, and this was my first experience at ME Milan, which unfortunately fell far below expectations.

The hotel appears designed to extract every possible extra charge from guests in a very unprofessional manner. When we requested an additional bottle of water, we were told we had to order it through the restaurant so it could be charged. We also paid the most expensive Coca-Cola of our lives here — €12 for a small bottle. I have dined at many upscale restaurants worldwide and have never been charged this much for a Coca-Cola.

To make matters worse, when the hotel arranged a taxi for our return to the airport, they provided the driver with the wrong airport name. As a result, we nearly missed our flight.

Overall, this experience was extremely frustrating and not at all what one would expect from a hotel of this category. This was my first and last stay at ME Milan, and it will also be the last time I choose to stay at any ME hotel anywhere in the world.

The staff should be instructed to have a more professional attitude, servers speaking loudly to each other and making comments about guests doesn’t create a pleasant ambiance.
At the rooftop bar the staff doesn’t communicate between them, I was asked to sign the check at the exit and I had already done that at the table , really annoying.

It was my partner’s 40th birthday, and I had requested a few special touches for the room—what the team delivered went far beyond expectations. The staff were warm, professional, and always ready to help. The hotel itself is stunning, with a modern vibe and luxurious comfort that made us feel pampered throughout our stay.

Did not get the feeling of a five star resort. Walked right by the bellman with 2 heavy suitcases with no offer of help. Rooftop bar nice but felt overpriced. STK steakhouse was superb as usual. Seemed to be located off the beaten path and would hesitate to walk there after dark. Room dated and needed some maintenance.

The hotel itself is nice. The reception and concierge staff very nice however when you get to the housekeeping that’s a whole different story. More like a 3 star hotel cleaning, complained many many times but not much improvement .. actually the housekeeping manager smiles when you complain.. stayed for almost a month.. and the breakfast is definitely not 5 star. Don’t have high expectation.. for apology all we got was ( sorry) and a glass of cheap proseco.

We reserved interconnecting rooms for our family of four, including two toddlers, expecting a comfortable and smooth experience. Upon arrival, we were immediately informed that none of the TVs were working due to an unresolved system issue—something we were never told in advance.

The situation quickly worsened when we discovered that the thermostat in the kids’ room was malfunctioning, keeping the temperature locked at an uncomfortably cold 60°F. Despite informing the front desk, we were told there were no available interconnecting rooms to move to. As a result, our toddlers had to sleep in our bed, which made it extremely difficult to manage rest, space, and our overall comfort.

Adding to the frustration, we used the hotel’s laundry service multiple times, only to have three items go missing. After repeated follow-ups, the clothes were located and returned—but only two days later, which was both inconvenient and unnecessary stress during our limited vacation time.

On top of that, when ordering room service on two separate occasions, the staff member delivering our food insisted that we tip in cash, creating an uncomfortable and inappropriate experience in what should have been a relaxing setting.

Altogether, these issues disrupted our stay, added unnecessary stress to our family trip, and significantly diminished the quality of our vacation. We expected a much higher level of service and reliability, especially considering the price point and the reputation of the hotel.

Was unaware of air conditioning laws prohibiting the use of A/C until May. At night, even with windows open I would wake up drenched in sweat. The hotel staff brought in a fan and got approval to turn off the heater but it did nit help the situation.

The breakfast were delicious, room service was spectacular, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Great place to stay after May. 😊

Yeh Hotel is nice enough. But staff in restaurants look like they hate there job unhappy. Service with a smile goes along way. Service in stk restaurant was very poor had to ask several times for drinks top up. And side dishes for meal took a while to arrive. Also charged for drinks we actually never got delivered to our table.

Excellent warm and friendly service. Design of the rooms was not great though. The hooks for the towels are in the WC of the room. The towel rack was in the shower too. Lighting was quite dim in the rooms too.

Upon my arrival after 21 hours of travel, I was not even offered a basic courtesy such as a glass of water. Despite the hotel being advertised as luxurious and accommodating, I was met with a room that was dark and unwelcoming, an issue dismissed by staff with the explanation that “this is the design of the hotel.” It was only after contacting Expedia that I discovered other rooms were available, though I was initially denied any option to change rooms until hours later when new staff at the front desk offered an upgrade—something that could have been addressed much sooner.

In addition, the following issues were present in room #511, further undermining the quality of my stay:

•
Sheets were only changed once during my six-night stay, and only after I specifically requested it.
•
Cups in the room were dirty, with visible eyelashes and hairs, yet no replacements were provided despite requests.
•
The coffee machine remained unclean throughout my stay, despite me not using it, and I had to repeatedly ask for basic amenities like tea bags.
•
Several maintenance issues, including a malfunctioning bidet, faulty shower tap, and dirty sinks that I had to clean myself.
•
The lack of basic amenities such as an ironing board and insufficient options to hang clothes, which is unacceptable for a hotel of this standing.

Additionally, when requesting a late check-out the night before my departure, I was told that it was subject to availability, which should have been clear 18 hours bef

The second you approach ME Milan Il Duca the 5 star service begins. The doorman took out bags while greeting us and rolled them to the property for us. While checking in the front desk staff were incredible and offered us beverages while we checked in. On top of that they let us know we had received a room upgrade. The room was incredible and very modern. Our luggage was brought to our room shortly after. The rooftop bar was a great place for drinks and a scenic view of the city. They also bring you complimentary apps whenever you sit. The hotel staff called our room to make sure our stay was going well. The breakfast bar was also great. We checked out of the hotel and the doorman covered us with umbrellas while we walked to our taxi. We went to the train station and realized we booked the wrong date for our tickets and had to wait 4 hours before the next train out. Lost in a foreign city we decided to go back to the hotel. The staff greeted us with open arms and stored our luggage while we made more use of the rooftop bar. Overall it was an amazing stay at ME Milan Il Duca and we will definitely be returning.

The bathroom in our room did not offer a lot of privacy to the rest of the room, so if that is an issue, be certain to book a different layout upfront.

Went off multiple times approximately 4 times . And we had to go down stairs to figure out what was going on in which the staff claimed it was a false alarm . They did not do a very good job at communicating. The guest had to wait in line to ask and inquire about what was going on .

Modern design but lacking comfort

Our recent stay at ME Milan left us with mixed feelings. The hotel itself has a new and modern feel, which initially gave us high hopes. We stayed in a Superior ME room, and while it was adequately sized, it felt somewhat tight. The room lacked sufficient surfaces to place our belongings, including in the bathroom, where space was extremely limited.

One major issue we encountered was the poor air conditioning. Despite visiting Milan in May, the room was uncomfortably warm. On one night, we had to resort to opening the windows for relief. Although we called maintenance and they attempted to override the system, the room remained warm.

Our stay lasted for two days, but turn-down service was only provided on one of the nights. Additionally, we had to call for new towels and water, which was an inconvenience. The valet service was also disappointing; they were unhelpful both during our arrival and departure.

On a positive note, the concierge, Sabrina, was extremely helpful. She recommended wonderful places to eat, which enhanced our dining experiences in Milan. However, despite being in a corner unit, the room was loud at night, disrupting our sleep. The lighting inside the room was also poor, contributing to an overall sense of discomfort.

Considering these factors, we felt that our stay was overpriced for the level of service and comfort we received.

2nd time staying in this hotel with a 3am fire alarm! Zero instruction or fire marshals. Been woken at 3am without any interaction from the hotel is annoying, no apology no reason as to why it repeatedly happens. I love the staff in this hotel but it’s tough to have two trips wandering the fire escape at 3 am in a city with crime and issues like any other without any support from the hotel.

We stayed 3 seperate times at this hotel as we made Milan our base and made various day/short trips to other places. It is a decent, clean, and well maintained property. Enjoyed my overall stay at this hotel. The staff paid attention to details and had our stored luggage ready in our new rooms when we returned for our subsequent stays. They also provided a complimentary chocolate on our second stay and a free room upgarde on our third stay which made us very comfortable during our last night in Milan.

Hotel is very near to the republica train station which made it convenient to get around and at the same time being situation at the central business area, the area is quiet during the weekends which we enjoyed.

The only drawback was that the rooms are all dimly lit which is due to the design of the hotel. Would have been better if the rooms are slightly brighter.

Amazing and superb service - staff went out of their way to make it a memorable stay. Upon hearing that it’s our honeymoon trip, they immediately arranged for balloons and champagne as a surprise when we returned in the evening. Also location is actually convenient though not entirely central; staying in a Suite came with the perk of a chauffeured car which took us between the hotel and Duomo - roughly 5 min drive. The service was on a first come first served basis yet it was readily available for the three times we needed it.
