It was a great experience! Super spacious room, the staff were all very friendly and helpful whenever I had a question, and it was in a great location for walking to multiple spots on my itinerary for the week. Would definitely stay at Avani again!

Very convenient, safe and clean place. The apartment is quite good but the access is complicated with the need of multiple access code and thus a cell phone connected. The space is small, although the bathroom is nice. There is coffee and tea makers as well as a fudge but the electric connections are unstable.

The cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional. My room was spotless, well-maintained, and smelled fresh. The housekeeping team clearly takes pride in their work, and it shows. Public areas like the lobby, hallways, and dining space were equally pristine.

The rooms were spotless, modern, and super comfortable, offering everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The spa facility was absolutely beautiful—a perfect place to unwind after exploring Milan. And the breakfast? Simply perfect. A delicious and diverse spread that started our days off just right.

I wish I got staff names to shout them out on how amazing they were. You all are just brilliant!

Honestly, I wouldn’t even consider staying anywhere else in Milan now. Avani exceeded every expectation. Can’t wait to return!

Hotel clean and modern throughout. Aircon was not working, was told it wasn't allowed. Very hot day in March and very busy road system outside hotel. So the choice was keep window closed and have little sleep due to heat, or open window and have little sleep due to noise.Breakfast was poor when it came to hot options, bacon and sausage tasted like raw fat. I think someone snook in our room while we were at breakfast to open the shutters, which I had closed to keep room cool.

In general I like this hotel. It was my second stay there. They have a lovely breakfast and the area is very good for both walkability and transportation. I did have an issue with the curtains in my superior room. They would not close over the dramatic double height window, so sleeping was going to be a problem. They were only able to downgrade my room due to current availability, but I did have a good nights sleep and I would recommend room 403, which is a standard double.

It was really great the staff were excellent, only 1 problem the bathrooms are incredibly tiny even smaller than those on cruise ships. Also they didn’t have soap dispensers, foot rest and water leaked out whilst showering.
They did provide the tubes with liquid soap but nowhere to put them whilst showering so you had to put it on the floor. When you went to pick it up you then would hit your head on something or get in contact with the walls.

However, there was a lot of noise coming in from the main street as well as other guests could easily be heard walking in and out of rooms.

The hotel is at a great location lots of restaurants nearby, the room was a little small I got a Junior suite which had an odd upstairs loft with a TV mini bar and couch but I never used it so I probably could’ve save some money just booking a normal room. The bed was comfortable and they had good Covid controls in place

It was a beautiful hotel and we offered a cheap upgrade to a stunning two-floor loft, with a large balcony. Throughly pleased with the spacious, contemporary, hip, elegant room we were given. It is also in prime location with easy walking to the tourist sites and amazing donning. I do recommend.

Disappointing vacation stay.

At the arrival nobody helping for unloading the luggage from the car. Asking if a valet was available the answer was “go park the car by yourself” without providing information where to park (just after having asked ...), the towels where with holes...the ceiling in the air conditioning area with black hand signs....when we returned in the evening the room was not cleaned up and reset....really disappointing for an hotel of this level. We had to ask to move to another facility and the receptionist was really accommodating and helpful. The NH Collection (just located to the other side of the road) is absolutely at another level. Not comparable even if both are rated 4 stars. I totally recommend to book the NH Collection.

Great location for the lively bars and restaurants of the financial district. 25min walk to Duomo and the glitz of the shopping district but a good location for the 10min walk to the train station. Extremely helpful staff and a good clean hotel. My room was on the small side compared to others staying at the hotel but was impressed overall.

Noisy room! Constant whirring and buzzing noises 24h/day. The building plumbing is so loud when another guest upstairs showers or flushes the toilet it comes crashing down the pipes in my bathroom. Very very loud. So loud it woke me up over and over during the night. Made it hard to sleep.

Convenient, quiet, modern and clean

It’s close to Porta Garibaldi station which is perfect for my commute, by Eataly which makes it easy to get water and essentials, and by Brera which has great food and drink options. It’s clean, quieter and better designed than most other hotels I’ve stayed at in the same area, and has a gym (though it’s gotten smaller since they added a spa/sauna/jacuzzi which I didn’t use this time but could be good in the winter). Every staff member is friendly and attentive! Some rooms are a bit small and the pillows are lumpy and small and not very comfortable but I’ve found this to be the case for most hotels in the area.

We were given an upgrade as the room we were originally booked into was so small we could not open our suitcases. The Housekeeping services were not good as we had to request replenishment of our toiletries and to have the garbage bin emptied.
The breakfast was good in terms of quality, variety and service. The staff remembered what type of coffee we had after the first morning.
The hotel is in a great location both in access to restaurants, transport & the city centre.

For a one night stopover in Milan this was an excellent choice only marred by the fact that the restaurant was closed The room was clean and spacious and whilst the website and listing gave the impression of a much larger hotel this is not a disadvantage. The area is close to Castle sforza the cathedral and galleria all being about 25 minutes leisurely walk away

The hotel advertised that they had valet parking. Since we rented a car, we decided to go with NH Palazzo Moscova. Upon arrival, we expected to pull up to the front of the hotel and have our suitcases unloaded and car parked. However, the hotel did not have a proper entrance for cars but rather a ramp/driveway with only one way in and out. There was already a car parked there so my pregnant wife had to get out of the car to ask where we could find the valet while I drove around the block. We were informed that we should park the car on the driveway ramp, but because there was a car parked there that needed to reverse out as well as a taxi unloading other hotel guests, I had to do a few laps before I could pull into the driveway. Once we parked the car, we left our suitcases in the car while we went to check in. We asked if someone could please bring in our bags, but were told that the one person available was busy taking an iron and ironing table to another room. I'm not certain why they only had one employee available to help guests with luggage as well as room service requests, but eventually, they said they would have the bags brought to our room and park our car. The bathroom was not functional, and there was rust in the shower. The bed was comfortable, but there was an intermittent vibrating noise that went off in our room the entire night. Upon check out, the valet brought our car to the front. We tipped him but did he not bother helping us load our bags in the car.

A night in Milan near central train station

I was upgraded to jr suite. It contains a queen size bed and a table with chairs separated by a short wall with a TV insert. Which was cool and unique. The bathroom is a little small. It has an upstairs cute loft, sitting area. The oversized chair can fold out into a bed. French doors opens into a balcony. Overall room was clean, roomy but quaint. Close to the Milano central train station. Eataly market and restaurant is a cross the street. A good 25 min walk to the Duomo. If you don't mind the walk stay here.
Breakfast was nice with fruits, pastries and cold cuts. Eggs are cooked to order of which I prefer than just sitting on a warmer. Prosecco upon check in is always a plus.

First room was very disappointing, tiny low windows which were above reception so couldn't leave the curtains open and a terrible smell of sewage in room. The walls were very thin and being opposite the stairs we got no sleep. Moved rooms which helped massively and staff were very accommodating about this! Tried to use the spa in the morning but nothing was ready first thing and didn't feel like we wanted to stay. Housekeeping was generally very good but they failed to notice the dirty wine glass in our room (before we moved in) and even after we left it out on the side.
The main bonus of this hotel was being out of the centre with good connections to the Garibaldi train and metro station (2 minute walk), with an amazing shopping complex very close.
The staff were also amazing and were happy to go above and beyond!

from the outside the hotel looks commodious and inviting, but inside it has been transformed into a mini-hotel w/ tiny cubicle rooms. the bed takes up approx 80% of the space; impossible for 2 people to get dressed simultaneously.
Staff is very nice.
Room 416 has no real windows, and it appears that the rooms on the entire top floor of the hotel are that way

The hotel absolutely doesn't deserve 4 stars

Frustration! Do not book so-called \"standard\" room - the rooms are really small, with very small windows (first floor - see photo of the facade), small bathroom...The hotel \"spa facility\" doesn't deserve its name, the only working facility is finnish sauna, the sitting/resting furniture is old (over-used) and dirty...My recommendation is better to choose a 3-star hotel in the area, for a much better price.

I had two visits each a week long and had to move rooms the first day both times.
The first visit I booked a superior room but the handles to the large glass doors to the balcony were broken and I couldn't shut them properly. Not so superior
The second visit this time a standard room I moved again as the first room missed a wardrobe to hang and to put away clothes.
It was a good location for work and for restaurants and both the secondary rooms were ok

Only complaint was that my room was right by a road and I could hear motorcycles throughout the night. It's a small complaint. The hotel is great, the location was great and the restaurant was the best meal I had in Milan.

Great location, nice restaurant, best hotel gym I've so far seen in Milan. Room was stylish - sparkly concrete walls - but a bit short on amenities: exposed hanging area but no wardrobe, no drawers, so you're living out of your suitcase. OK, but not particularly comfortable. But too hot. I set the air-con to minimum, then tried it switched off. Eventually I just kept all of the windows open (it's November). Maybe just a problem with that particular room. Also no information. When is the gym open, what's on the room service menu, what number do i call. None of that fairly normal stuff.

Staff were very helpful, the main highlight of the hotel (even though the room and location were both excellent). Checked in early, checked out super early.. Both check in & out took 1 minute, all questions help needed was given by staff with a big genuine smile.
Breakfast can be better, you can noy have limited cheese in Milan, and can not include some eggs, and salads.. Breakfast could been better thats the only thing with the hotel (and it won't cost much). Otherwise all was great especially for the price.

Location was less than 10 minute walk to the modern city center and ~20 minute walk to the Duomo and/or Sempione Park. There were not tons of restaurants right near the hotel, but a few. It was ~5-10 min walk to the nearest metro.

I especially enjoyed the breakfast buffet here. This is a solid 4 stars hotel, but I would give the breakfast buffet 4 and half.

My economy room was small ( no desk to sit with my notebook!) but hey - this property is a converted train station, so smallish rooms are not surprising. Plenty of hot water, and excellent room service.

soggiorno non speciale

non è possibile che un hotel 4 stelle come l'Avani non abbia il bidet. anche se ho prenotato una singola i bagni in Italia devono avere necessariamente il bidet.

Un luogo magico in cui tornare

Sono stata benissimo, ho apprezzato l’attenzione al benessere e alla sostenibilità. La gentilezza e gli smack salutari offerti in reception. Hotel stupendo e location super comoda a tutti i servizi. Tornerò sicuramente!
