Everything was wonderful overall. The onsen was excellent and the room was very comfortable. A few additional practical hooks for hanging jackets or scarves would make the space even more convenient. The hotel was spotless, beautifully minimal, and great value for money. Breakfast was beautifully presented, and while I personally prefer warmer and more strongly flavored dishes, it was still a pleasant start to the day.

It was average, the check-in service felt clumsy and chaotic with semi-self service. At the same time the front desk staff (at least 3 people who I interacted with during my stay) who were lovely and trying to welcome us, did not speak english at all, considering the majority of the clientele were not Japanese. The room itself was clean but small, and the breakfast (2600 yen or so) is very heavily seafood based i.e. oysters cooked in fish broth, grilled salmon, prawns, seaweed with some other fish flakes, dried plum, spicy miso paste. If you have a western palate that may be too intense for breakfast. I also stayed in another hotel significantly cheaper with nicer room amenities in the city with incredible free breakfast so unless you really want to use their small but busy onsen which requires additional payment for tattoo stickers, or you really like their location, then I would consider going elsewhere.

Our room was very clean, had nice amenities, and was quiet. Breakfast was an absolutely delicious Japanese breakfast. We appreciated the coin laundry and the shoe dryers available to borrow after a day spent in the rain. Staff is so friendly and very helpful.

The only thing I didn’t like was the amenities. No coffee, brush, razor or any other items that most hotel give it out.
Public bath was nice but would be much better if we have a sauna.
Few things can be improved in customers experience.

The breakfast was excellent and it felt like I was being served. It was also good that they served different foods every day. The spa was not large in size, but it was perfect for relieving fatigue after the trip and the water quality was good.
Everything was clean and the staff were very friendly. I will come again next time.

Very clean room and friendly staff. Zen decor throughout. Centrally located. Room is quite small with no closet or drawers. The bed is on a raised surface, requiring you to step down to the rest of the room which makes things risky at night with lights out. If you’re not that agile or young, you might want to take this layout into consideration. Also, they can receive shipped luggage but to deliver luggage to another location, you need to walk 3-4 min to Yamato office which closes at 7 pm.

My wife and I have been planning our honeymoon to Japan for over a year. We carefully selected SOKI due to its proximity to popular attractions in Kanazawa. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that SOKI offers a one of a kind experience. The staff were inviting, warm, and respectful. The rooms + amenities offered a quiet relaxing getaway which serves as the perfect break from days spent exploring the many cultural and historical attractions found in Kanazawa. Upon arrival the staff kindly checked our bags in. After which we explored the world famous Omicho market which is located directly across the street. We missed breakfast our first morning, but made sure to enjoy the traditional premium Japanese breakfast experience the following day. What stood out the most are the beds. Minimalistic but by God they were incredibly comfortable. As far as breakfast goes, incredible, I highly recommend enjoying each dish in the intended order. We didn’t get a chance to try the Onsen, but we’ll be back next year for sure! Thank you so much!

Through Yamato. When it came time to ship to next destination they refused. They sent me to shipping office. How 🤔 can they receive baggage but not assist in shipping? Also,all restaurants and vendors in Kanazawa are cash only. This hotel doesn't accept cash

Super stylish hotel with lovely amenities but very disappointing that they couldn’t offer a vegetarian breakfast, even with advance warning made at the time of booking (weeks in advance). There are plenty of Japanese vegetarian dishes that could have been served. Shame for such a modern hotel to be so rigid. What if a guest had an allergy? How would they have dealt with that?

Not well: mold and lots of dust inin the AC causing safety concern, felt like all European and American tourists were at this hotel; they don’t clean or make your room when staying longer than one night. They claim it’s because of eco but don’t see how making a bed will improve Eco. We accidentally spilled some chips on the floor and they did not want to help cleaning it…(due to eco). Therefore I cannot rate this hotel high on cleaning

Such an incredibly comfortable stay! The hotel was beautiful, clean, and located in such a great convenient location. The staff are wonderful and so incredibly helpful. The restaurant on the first floor gave us one of the best dining experiences we have ever had serving a phenomenal omakase. The bed and room were very comfortable and the onsen on the 2nd floor was a dream. 10 out of 10 stay! Highly recommend!

Fantastic experience staying here. Had the breakfast one day which was a nice traditional Japanese style breakfast and quite good, but keep in mind the fish market is right across the street. This location was perfect for us, easily walkable to most of the attractions Kanazawa had to offer. The public baths were overall pleasant, although my wife had the unfortunate experience that a woman brought her 6-8 year old son into the women’s bath and felt uncomfortable with that. The beds were huge and rooms overall spacious especially compared to the Tokyo hotels we were used to. Would certainly recommend this hotel.

Very clean room and the only king sized bed we were able to secure as a standard room in Lanazawa. Location is a bit north of most sights but very nice all able to Higashi-Chaya district. The city itself is very walkable so not an issue you’ll just get your steps in .

Super modern hotel, very sleek and seems brand new. You can do your laundry on the second floor for a small fee. You can also refill your water bottle there for free.
They also have a beautiful Onsen (public bath), very modern. We used it every day twice a day.
The room is very cool and interesting. The only thing is that there is not a lot of space to store your luggage so it always felt like it was in the way. Bathroom is small too so not much counter space to put your toiletry bag.
Overall, we were super happy with this hotel. Location was great, right in front of the Omicho market plus Kanazawa is small enough that you choose to walk to all the tourist points of interest

Hotel nuovissimo, arredato con gusto e tanta attenzione ai particolari.
Camera pulita, letto comodissimo, kit di benvenuto abbondante.
Favoloso il bagno pubblico, pulito e curatissimo (non è termale ma comunque ti rigenera).
Colazione tradizionale di alta qualità, per quanto noi italiani facciamo fatica a far colazione col pesce, è un'esperienza che merita.
Posizione ottima: davanti a Omicho market, a 15 minuti dalla stazione e a 20 minuti da l quartiere delle Geiko. Per quello dei Ninja o si fanno 40 minuti di passeggiata per vie molto affascinanti o c'è il bus dietro l'angolo.
