A pleasant first stay after a night time flight. Transfer from airport efficient, friendly driver. Room spacious clean and comfortable and breakfast good options (continental). Airport transfer to catch bus to Lugo after breakfast. Left something in room, driver didn't hesitate to go back and return it to me at airport. Some building work and decorating on my floor which was noisy in the morning, but it would not stop me staying there again. Absolutely loved the shower, nice selection of toiletries too. A great find. I will be back and recommend to others. Thank you.

Fleeting visit.

Our flight landed on time just before midnight. This of course meant that we would be checking in very late....no problem as manager there to welcome us . We settled in quickly but as we were booked in for just one night we were checking out around midday........we enjoyed a relaxing walk around the grounds behind the hotel and then moved on. Would certainly stay there again and recommend the hotel, especially for a family.

We had a problem that we needed help with and even when we arrived near midnight we got the help we needed. We went back to same hotel a couple of days later because is close to airport and offers a shuttle. When we arrived they had all the paperwork ready to sing and they even had what we requested before waiting for us in the room. Restaurant was very good too. We'll be back if in the area.

I liked the property very much, convenient, friendly staff and good food. Big rooms and comfortable.
The only thing I didn’t like was lots of hairs in the bathroom floor- cleaners need to make sure that they Hoover the hairs… not pleasant.

This is a beautiful property. It is adjacent to those arriving off of the Camino trails. The rooms are spacious and comfy. The food is traditional and filled with flavor. My gosh soooo delicious. The bar area is comfy and friendly too. The staff really makes this property just a wonderful place to relax and rejuvenate. Raquel at the front. David was at the bar. Just wonderful staff. .

An absolute excellent stay for us. Everything was clean, comfortable & convenient. On the 6A bus route from Santiago de Compostela & the free shuttle took us to the airport the following morning. The professional staff were very friendly.

Underwhelming and loud

Shuttle was convenient, but for the price this place is very underwhelming. The rooms look like an old open office where furniture was just sort of thrown in there to be a “hotel room.” It was clean, but outdated and uncomfortable. The beds were not comfortable, but I would say the worst part is hearing every single thing. It sounded like the windows were open with how loud the cars were and we could hear everything from other rooms on our floor, including people snoring.

I understand it was Mother’s Day and so they were busy, but it felt like we were inconveniencing them when we checked in or asked any questions. Service just didn’t seem very pleasant at all.

The mattress were very tiny and hard, we could hear everything in the other rooms, even if they drop a pen, we could hardly sleep that nigh, they were very nice to hold our luggage while we did the Camino, that was the main reason we booked that hotel, besides that it was a very inconvenient location, not close to anything, and in my opinion very expensive.

Super friendly and helpful desk staff, but room was SO depressing we left early. Had spent a week walking the Camino in very minimal accommodations and this was the worst by far. Bedding, walls, carpet all filthy. We happily “left” our $90 Euro charge and left straight to Santiago.

Was walking Camino Frances and as there were no rooms left in amenal, this hotel sent its hotel taxi to pick us up and also arranged our return the following morning to continue our walk. The food was good, but the servers were very hasty to collect our plates, even before we had finished. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. The lady on reception even made us a cup of coffee early morning before we left

This hotel is very nice and quiet. The other issue that I had with my room is that there were few outlets and they were all far from the bed. Additionally the room was a little dark in the evening even with the lamps on. But everything else about my stay was great! The hotel was very accommodating to get me to the airport at 5:00 am!

Ruta Jacobea is extremely convenient to the Santiago de Compostela airport, and provides a shuttle to the airport starting at 7 am. Our room was clean and spacious though basic in terms of decorating and amenities, and staff were very friendly.

Excellent location near Guggenheim, river walk, and local restaurants and shops. The front desk staff was very nice, although the lobby space is somewhat limited. There is a public room for guests to hang out on the 2nd floor which has newspapers, coffee, tea, water. The guest room was an adequate size, with International TV stations and wifi. Very good value.

The first person working in the hotel was friendly, but a little too talkative. The maid came into our room for cleaning even though we had the \"Do not disturb\" sign on the door. When we left the room, she cleaned it but left the door open! Fortunately, nothing was stolen from our room. When we told the front desk person, she was very casual in her response (a little too casual...) saying the maid is new and probably forgot, but she'll be sure to tell her, and is sorry. There were flies in the lobby area, and one mosquito in our room. Other than that, the room was fairly clean, and the bus stop was very near by so it was easy to get to the airport and to the town center.

Decent hotel near the airport

Located only 1.5 km from the airport, this was the perfect place to stay in order to catch an early flight home after walking the Camino de Santiago. Also, close to bus stops into and out of Santiago. We did not have time to use it, but there was lovely garden seating for the bar. The room was simple/basic, but included toiletries and hairdryer in the bathroom. The staff was friendly and helpful, arranging a taxi for us to the airport since we had to be there before the buses were operating, and answering other questions that we had. Unfortunately, our experience was dampened when we discovered bed bugs in the morning! Ewwwww. To the hotel's credit, the staff took swift action when we reported the problem at checkout (discovered 10 minutes before we checked out), stating they are required to close that room and fumigate it before it can be used again.

GOOD PLACE CLOSE TO THE AIRPORT

If you have an early flight, this is the place for you. It IS NOT FANCY AT ALL. The hotel is more a Motel by North American standards. Having said that, the personnel is so helpful. As the title of the review states, if you have an early flight, as we did it is a great place. The hotel is less than 5 minutes from the airport.

The hotel offers airport transfers beginning at 7.30 am. As previously mentioned, we had an early flight - we had to be at the airport for 5.30 am. The front desk clerk ran us over at no charge! That is a gesture one can never forget.

Overpriced and no wifi

We stayed here because of the proximity to the airport. The room was large and nice enough and the desk staff were helpful, but it was poor value for the price. There was no wifi working (despite reporting it to the desk twice), so we could not confirm onward flights and in the room a number of things were broken. The room was not cheap and with the taxi fare to the airport being 10 euros for 3 minutes (this is not the hotel's fault) it meant that staying in town at a cheaper place and paying the 21 euros taxi fare from the city to the airport would be better value.

Era la tercera vez que nos alojamos ahi por la buena situación al lado del aeropuerto. La ultima vez era hace 2 años y como ha pasado a muchos establecimientos con la crisis del covid, ha perdido mucho. Estaba algo dejado y con el bar cerrado hasta las 20.00 horas. Sin embargo pagamos bastante mas por noche que antes.
