Clean, comfortable room. Nice bathroom. Balcony with two chairs. Two pools but we did not use them. Breakfast was good enough. Not hot foods but waffle maker and cereals and pastries, etc. Very affordable rates.

No telephone in rooms? TV didn't work well and confusing to operate. Bath/shower could use safety bars.

We stayed there in a wedding party everyone was spread out in every building. No one close to each other. My grandchildren were in building 1 their mother and father in building 4 . The grandmother in building 8. Couldn't get special needs adults to indoor pool. Paid 200.00 each room and we couldn't get to the indoor pool.sad sad sad

My family enjoyed our stay here. The room was clean, we enjoyed walking the property and the trail that was right in front. We enjoyed bbqing and the area there. The boys loved watching all the squirrels and birds. The outdoor pool was cold this time of year but we used the indoor one. The staff was friendly and helpful.

The room was clean and well maintained and check in was a breeze! Had a frustrating time trying to use the TV's (Roku kept forgetting the wifi) but the amenities more than made up for it! Plenty of areas to gather, cook and have a picnic, indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs, good breakfast and a beautiful location! Highly recommended!

The room I stayed in was redone very recently had a modern look to it, the bed was very comfortable and all the amenities were new. The only thing that hadn’t been replaced was the shower and it was still in very good condition. The grounds and additional areas, fitness center and pool were in great shape. It was the only hotel with indoor/outdoor pool and fitness center in the area. Very close to nice restaurants, bar and the park.

This property has obviously been refurbished recently! The peaceful nature themed interior decor was beautiful and the wood furniture offered plenty of storage. Thoughtful details like additional shelving in closet area and the Keurig coffee maker were nice. There are plenty of amenities such as multiple pools, a playground, and outdoor movie screen that would be great for entertaining kids.

The staff helped us with late check in procedures. When we needed hand soap, the cleaning staff delivered it and also refreshed our room even though we weren’t scheduled for a cleaning that day. The room was meticulously clean and I’m very particular about cleaning.

Be aware the bathroom is rather small, but nicely redecorated. The breakfast was continental, but also offered microwave grits and oatmeal, as well as boiled eggs. It met our basic needs, but The Pancake House is just across the street for a more extensive meal.

We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit Cade’s Cove!

We have stayed here several times over the years. And the updates and remodeling are just excellent. We have enjoyed our stay so much. My only negative thing was there was not great water pressure in the shower. We had problems with the TV and we called the office and they were there immediately to help us. All it was was a dead battery in the remote.

Everything seemed on the cheap. Breakfast was put out in small amounts every day we had to ask for something, no pool towels, no cleaning until after 5, no replacement on towels, sheets were so thin I thought the pillow cases weren't on. Toilet wobbled like it wasn't set properly same with sink. The room was very clean, but walkways and common areas weren't.

The room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable!! The property was very expensive!!! Lots of outdoor amenities!! We used the outdoor tables & chairs in the pavilion area, for picnic lunches, walked on lots of paved walking trails, played on the pickleball courts, and had a wonderful bonfire one evening, on the property .

Beautiful property and view of the mountains! Loved that there was an outdoor and indoor plus a hot tub. Perfect since it was cold during our stay. They also had makeup remover which was perfect since I forgot mine. Very spacious rooms. I will say that I do wish the curtains covered more and that there was more plugs for chargers near the bed.

This was our second time staying at Treemont. Our requirements for a hotel stay are simple. Clean, comfortable, courteous staff. The newly renovated room was clean, the air and heat excellent, plenty of fresh towels, daily housekeeping, and every single staff member was extremely friendly and made us feel welcome. Renovations continue to this gem of a property and I look forward to our next stay. I can't wait to see this property restored to its former glory.

Pet friendly hotel. Rooms clean and newly renovated. Amazing friendly staff, greeted with a smile. They have a conference hall for business groups to rent and a smaller room too. 10 acres of property with lots of rooms and suites. In the center of Townsend, very convenient to shops, and restaurants. About an hour to gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. It’s an old property that has new life breathed into it.

This is our second stay at the resort and we enjoyed this as much as we did last time. Clean room. Jacuzzi tub. Beautiful view. And even in the off season so welcoming. Hands down Townsend is the hidden jewel of the Smokies. And Tremont Lodge and Resort is the shimmer in that jewel.

For the price, this was a very good stay. The property is nice and is clearly being remodeled and improved. Our room was also nice and you could tell it had been remodeled. The price was very reasonable.
I was not interested in the free breakfast due to the options, but we found a great little coffee shop

Good pricing with good accommodations. Beds were comfy and suite was spacious. Amenities were nice, there is an outdoor movie theater but I was not able to locate a schedule or what movies would be playing or when. There is a secret \"speakeasy\" which was neat.

The bads tho; we rented a suite with a sofa bed for people that needed to sleep on it. There was absolutely no bedding. There was no one working at the lodge all day because it was a holiday. I get maybe limited staff but every hotel that's open at least has someone. I messaged and was told that this would be a top priority first thing in the morning. Three days later as we are checking out, there is still no bedding. Some priority! The tub also held water so you're taking a shower in inches of water which I most certainly did not enjoy. There was also an almost constant clicking noise reminiscent of a leaky dripping faucet but we could not find what it was that made noise all day and all night.
Would I stay here again despite this? Maybe. Because the room was nice with no bugs and the lodge grounds and amenities are nice.

The resort employees were nice and the place had a good vibe to it. Unfortunately the hot tub was not working and that's a feature I was looking forward to using. Also the water in the shower was lukewarm at best. I did call the front desk to see if they could make it hot and a maintenance guy went up and supposedly adjusted the water heater from medium to high but the water in my room never got hotter over my stay which was not good. And there's mold in the bathroom grout and the shower curtain was dirty. I did get a replacement on my first day for this shower curtain.

Our room was extremely unkempt. The sheets were dingy, the comforter had several yellow stains, and there were bugs and dirt in the corners of the room. We also found miscellaneous debris under the bathroom cabinet. Very disappointing experience, ad we expected much better cleanliness for the hype received via emails from NEW management!

Arrived to a closed office and a non-working phone app to open door was stuck outside for a considerable amount of time, wife went to the office to get a key card the next morning and when that was tried it didn't work, come to find out the lock was the problem. House keeping consisted of picking up towels and emptying the trash can, the bed was made up once and the sheets were never changed. The toilet was broken and we had to fix it ourselves and it was never cleaned. The heater did not work, this place is old and run down nothing like it shows in the pictures, ghetto all the way, the \"scenic balcony\" had a wonderful view of a big propane tank,had to go ask for more toilet paper, I can't imagine a place worse than this!

Overall a very cute property, a few cosmetic things need to be tended to. The LVP flooring was coming up in our room and we frequently stubbed toes because of it, we did mention that to the staff. But the shower was also pretty run down, and water pressure and temperature we not great. Also would have loved to know that the hot tub was out of order before I dipped my toes in. I would stay here again and we are considering an event in this location.

The room was in a good condition and very spacious for a family. The hotel is in a good location for exploring the Smokey’s and Cades Cove. However, overall I was disappointed with the hotel and I feel this came from my expectations, based on the social media posts. The curtains barely covered the window, so I felt people could look into our room on the 1st floor. The breakfast was poor, the room for breakfast was very small and not tidied. The hotel was a little difficult to navigate around and was much bigger than I had expected. I did not find the staff I interacted with welcoming or friendly.

I really had great expectations for Tremont. The pictures looked great. Was told that the rooms were newly renovated. The room appearance was acceptable. The fine details turned the stay into a nightmare. The first problem was our tub would not drain. No phone or number in the room to call and report. Finally found a number in the check in sheet only to find out it was to a call center. Probably in Asia. We were assured it would be taken care of. Second day and tub still was not fixed. I attempted to fix it myself. Drain was clogged with hair. I was unable to completely clear the drain. Third day the cleaning staff did not leave any toilet paper. I called three times to no avail. Fourth day i went to the office and explained all the problems. Lady gave us toilet paper and sent maintenance to fix the drain. Had staff appropriately responded, this might be a positive review. I would avoid this place if at all possible.

The person cleaning was very rude and said it’ll be ready in 30 mins. Apparently that’s acceptable there. Also the key tub was not operating normal and had a broken unusable drain plug .

Room configuration. We were in a suite. Only one AC unit and one fan. Both were in the non sleeping room. There was no movement of air in the sleeping room. At least put one of the two devices in the sleeping room so the air isn’t stagnant.

Early check in fee. Shortly after booking we were contacted by staff to ask about time of arrival. They offered for an early check in but she failed to mention there was an early check in fee of $25. It wasn’t until I arrived to check in that I was told about the fee. I never requested an early check in but was offered one. I would have been happy to pay the $25 had I been given this information prior to showing up. Hopefully this was a communication misshap rather than a deliberate attempt to get an extra $25.

There were neat little surprises everywhere we turned. The game room had a hidden speakeasy room that was fun to discover. There was a gas fire pit, and the one we preferred was the wood/log fire pit with a nightly movie playing just beside it. We got to enjoy the movie while cozied up beside the fire pit. We also were very surprised to finally have turndown service provided. Thought this was all but a lost service at most places we've stayed at. It was a pleasant surprise to come back to emptied trash bins and a made bed turned down and ready. Wow!

The whole place is so worn out and needs a major repair, the room is very dark with only 1 corner lamp and 1 near the beds, both are very dim. The bathroom is terrible, dirty and with visible damage, the shower has very weak water pressure and temperature is only lukewarm and you get goosebumps when you walk out of the shower. There was minimal toiletries supply, no body lotion, no tissue.
I really don’t think the reviews on your website are valid, this place doesn’t even deserve a 2 stars.

A good stay, if you’re not in one of the upgraded rooms it is a bit tired, you can see the areas that they’ve started renovating and these are much smarter, I’m sure it’ll all be like that soon but for now definitely pick upgraded if you want it to have the feel of the hotel images, otherwise you may feel that you’re in a different hotel! Price wise it was still decent, I just felt a bit misled by the images.

We enjoyed our stay, it was clean, and the staff was friendly. Couple of things to help would be lights around the outside ice machines, and blow the leaves away from the hotel room doors daily to keep them from getting in the rooms when you open the doors. Will definitely stay again.

This hotel was great! Very clean, very friendly! I would highly recommend this place and we will be back. It is half way between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Great little restaurant across the street called the Abby. Look it up, grest food and atmosphere.

I booked 2 rooms, we arrived at 7pm and we were told the rooms were not ready and not been cleaned, so we went off to get something to eat.
We returned 1 1/2 hours later to be told they can't clean the rooms and we're refunding me.
The girl on reception was very unhelpful.

I can't comment on the property, but it did look quite nice from the outside.

The only bad thing I have to say about the property is that they were not ready for us to check in and we arrived after 5 PM. However, the room was very comfortable. The bed and pillows were great. I would stay here again. The paved paths were nice. You could walk all around the property. Good value for the money.

There is plenty of space in the room and the design and decor is nice. The fireplace is a great feature. The room itself smells bad, like a mix of cigarette smoke and mildew. When we turned on the heat the whole room immediately smelled like something had died, so that went off right away. The shower is old, outdated and feels dirty. There is no body wash available, although they did leave ONE bar of soap, which we initially had to share for showers and hand washing. Also, we prior to check in we received and email from the \"owner\" who said that if anything was not satisfactory to please let him know right away at his \"personal\" email address, so we did. We never heard back.
