You have to pay for parking daily about €16 per day so there’s no free parking even if you’re paying hundreds for the room. The housekeeping service was poor, and we constantly had to request it. They don’t clean daily, and they will skip your room if you don’t ask. There’s also no gym or free breakfast, unlike competing hotels nearby. I wouldn’t stay there again.

Was advised that they will investigate. Could not open windows either as bugs were sitting outside.
Nothing was resolved while I stayed there.


Mattress was uncomfortable, I could feel the springs.

Very decent standard of IHG property, new and modern with all the facilities you'd expect. Staff were friendly and helpful and tried their best at all times.
Breakfast can get very hectic and there needs to be a better timed booking system and a system where people don't hang about reading newspapers - that can be done elsewhere (their room for instance!)
Water needs to be provided in take-away plastic bottles and not the glass/crown cap style at the moment.
A/C control needs much more improvement and the controls work correctly.

Pros: there is an ability to find street parking for no cost, you just have to be lucky. We were here in late May and found street parking fairly quickly. Bycycle bridge to Konstanz not far away.
Cons: room was not like the picture. It was small and right on a busy street so the noise when you opened the windows was horrible. Also. No ability to set the thermostat. Really not a good value for the money. Breakfast for 17 euro was nothing special.

Hotel under renovation which we weren’t aware of. A carpet was laid in front of our room during the stay. No working air conditioning & when we complained (as it had been one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel) we were informed that it had not been turned on yet. In hot late June. The staff member made no attempt to apologise for the situation and was extremely unhelpful. Luckily one of his colleagues did offer some help in the end. The hotel itself was ok, although quite a walk from the main area in Konstanz. The breakfast was good & the hotel was clean but I would not recommend it.

Brand New Hotel with Room for Improvement

This new hotel boasts beautiful facilities and even includes travel tickets to the city center. However, there were a few drawbacks to my stay.

Uncomfortable Temperaturen: The air conditioning system wasn't functioning properly, making the room uncomfortably hot at night.
Unwelcoming one Staff: The receptionist guy with spectacles did not acknowledge nor smiles , which felt impersonal in the hospitality industry.
Limited In-Room Amenities: There was no kettle for making tea or coffee, and essential items like pans required a 30 euro deposit for use in the studio room. This made it inconvenient to prepare even basic hot beverages. If I book a studio i believe essential amenities as per studio.

Wir hatten große Probleme mit dem Check-in. Das Hotel wurde im Vorfeld vollständig bezahlt, der Mitarbeiter im Hotel beharrte aber darauf, dass das Zimmern nochmals im Hotel bezahlt wird.

Wir mussten den Expedia-Support einschalten, um unser Zimmer zu bekommen.

Vom Hotel gab es keinerlei Entschuldigung oder Entschädigung.

Um ótimo hotel, limpo, organizado, quartos enormes . Equipe muito atenciosa, principalmente Sahibi. Um pouco longe do centro, mas próximo a rodoviária, 600m.
O hotel lhe proporciona um vale transporte para os ônibus, muito providencial.
Nosso objetivo era visitar a ilha de Mainau. Fomos de ônibus orientados pelo pessoal do hotel .
Economizamos bons euros com taxi.
O ar condicionado não funciona muito bem e café da manhã de razoável para bom.

Das Hotel war toll, die Zimmer sauber und schön / praktisch eingerichtet. Das kann sehr empfohlen werden. Das Personal war unfreundlich. Die Bar war übers ganze Wochenende geschlossen, das war schade und die Kommunikation nicht vorhanden. Wir würden trotzdem wieder gehen. Die Bushaltestelle ist direkt vor dem Hotel, wo die Linie direkt in die Stadt fährt.

Schönes Design der Zimmer, ruhig, Bushaltestelle gleich vor der Tür, tolles Frühstücksbüffet, allerdings etwas wenig Sitzplätze im Speisesaal. Um 8.00 Uhr hatte es, entgegen der Prognosen, schon sehr viele Leute beim Frühstück, weshalb man auf Sitzplätze in der Lobby ausweichen musste.

Le seul bémol c’est la personne de la réception du soir qui était un peu perdu (peu d’expérience ou d’envie, nous n’avons pas bien compris). Dans tous les cas nous avons passé un très bon sejour.

das personal mit dem wir zu tun hatten war sehr seltsam. wir kamen um 14:30 beim hotel an. die person an der reception hatte mehr als 20 minuten um jemanden einzuchecken. als wir dann endlich dran waren, hat sie uns erklärt dass es zimmer hätte die parat sind, diese sind aber für ihn members reserviert. ich reise seit vielen vielen jahren.
wenn ich zu früh eintreffe und kein zimmer parat ist, kann ich schon einchecken und mein gepäck deponieren. ich weiss nicht warum die receptionisten mir dann um jeden preis eine membership anhängen müssen.

Bei Ankunft waren wir zu früh dran, so dass wir in der Hotel Lobby noch zum Mittagessen konnten und danach zum Checkin ab 15:00 Uhr ins Zimmer durften. Das Zimmer war sehr komfortabel und Sauber. Das Personal war immer sehr kompetent und hilfsbereit & freundlich. Haben auch für den Aufenthalt im Hotel eine Bodenseecard erhalten, womit wir vom Hotel aus an der Bushaltestelle umsonst in die Stadt fahren konnten. Alles in allem total perfekt und ausgezeichnet, würden das nächste Mal auch wieder kommen.

De kamer was ruim en schoon, en personeel vriendelijk.
De incheck-procedure duurt wel te lang.
Als zakelijke reiziger na 800km gereden te hebben en diverse klantenbezoeken wil je snel inchecken en niet 10-15 min. wachten totdat alle bureaucratie ingevuld is.
Wat is het nut van privé adres etc. op te geven, wanneer je zakelijk reist ?
Parkeergelegenheid in de parkeergarage ernaast voor 16,= per dag.

Uns hat nettes Personal erwartet beim einchecken, das ging schnell und ohne Probleme. Unser Zimmer war zwar klein aber sehr sauber und für uns vollkommen ausreichend, wollten ja eh nur in dem Zimmer schlafen.
Leider liegt das Hotel an einer Hauptstraße und daher hört man in den Zimmern den Verkehr, für Leute die sowas gewohnt sind aber kein Problem.
Das Hotel ist etwas ab vom schuss aber vor der Tür ist direkt eine Bushaltestelle von wo aus man gemütlich mit den Bus bis zum Bahnhof und in die Innenstadt kommt.
Das angegebene Parkhaus haben wir nicht benutzt, da es uns zu teuer war. In der Nähe ist ein günstigeres oder man versucht ob man in den Seitenstraßen einen Parkplatz bekommt, hat auch gut geklappt.
Das Frühstück war sehr vielseitig. Allerdings waren die letzten Tage, die wir da waren, die Brötchen sehr hart und trocken. Dafür war das Brot sehr lecker, zudem gab es verschiedene Säfte, zum Kaffee kann ich nichts sagen, da ich keinen trinke. Grade an unserem letzten morgen (Sonntag) war sehr viel los beim Frühstück aber trotzdem gab es genug Tische.
Die Lobby war sehr gemütlich und man könnte auch dort verweilen, was trinken und kleine Snacks genießen.
Das Auschecken ging auch super schnell und ohne Probleme.
Alles in allem ein gutes Hotel.

Bushaltestelle direkt vor dem Hotel. 16min Fahrzeit bis ins Zentrum.

Sehr gute Parkmöglichkeit besteht im Parkhaus direkt neben dem Hotel. Kostet 16 Euro pro Nacht.
Hinweis: 2min entfernt haben wir ein ähnliches Parkhaus für 10 Euro pro Nacht gesehen (Eventuell interessant für langzeit Aufenthalte).

Insgesamt tolles, sehr neues Hotel. Absolute Empfelung.

Dit is één van de beste hotels waar ik ooit ben geweest. Het straalt netheid en elegantie uit, de kamers en de bedden zijn geweldig (ik wilde eigenlijk niet meer terug naar mijn eigen bed). Er zijn fijne algemene ruimtes met een mooi dakterras. De auto die kan je in de naastgelegen straten gewoon gratis en veilig parkeren. Bij aankomst kregen wij een gratis ov-kaart waarmee we de hele week de omgeving hebben kunnen afreizen, het mooiste is dat er een bushalte voor de deur zit.

Hotel moderne à Constance entre Rhin et lac

Hotel neuf; pas de parking pour l'hôtel : petit emplacement stationnement de 10' sinon parking souterrain public payant dans immeuble proche. L'accueil en après-midi est moyen et à revoir : 1 homme (avec petit chignon) n'a pas sa place là car hautain et sec.. Heureusement sa collègue est accueillante et souriante ainsi que l'homme à l'accueil le matin ; Chambre et salle de douche/wc propres et vastes, très bonne literie. Grandes baies donnant sur bâtiment en construction voisin. Petit-déjeuner traditionnel et fourni. Etonnant comparé aux autres hôtels de même standing en Allemagne : pas de bouilloire ni café ou thé dans la chambre ! Mais surprise agréable : Un grand pot d'eau et agrumes pour se servir à volonté est proposé gratuitement dans l'entrée.

The reception in the afternoon is unwell and needs to be reviewed: 1 man (with a small bun) has no place there because haughty and dry.. hopefully his woman colleague is welcoming and smiling as well as the man at the reception in the morning; Room and shower room/toilet clean and spacious, very good bedding. Large windows overlooking the neighboring building. Missing and curious compared to other hotels of the same standing in Germany: no kettle or coffee or tea in the room! But pleasant surprise: A large pot of water and citrus fruits to help yourself is free offer

Für uns eine praktische Unterkunft, von der aus man die Altstadt in wenigen Minuten mit dem Fahrrad erreicht.
Das Frühstück bietet für alle etwas, selbst für meinen Bedarf an glutenfreien Lebensmittel war gesorgt.
Wir waren zeitig beim Frühstück und hatten keine Probleme einen Platz zu bekommen. Alles in allem ein gelungener Aufenthalt.

Mooi hotel met grote kamer, helaas niet erg schoon

Mooie grote kamer op een prima locatie. Je kunt lopen naar het centrum van Konstanz, maar ook met de bus gaan. Bushalte is voor de deur. Helaas was de kamer erg vies. Pluspunkt: Zimmer sind recht neu und sauber.

Negativ: Personal wenig gastorientiert, stark unterbesetzt (Check-In und Bar parallel ist schwer möglich), viele Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter verstehen kein Deutsch, daher waren viele Kommunikationen sehr behäbig. Frühstücksraum unpraktisch (Gäste stehen sich aufgrund der Organisation des Raumes im Weg).
Bei uns wurde zudem die Zimmerreinigung vergessen und bei einer anderen Reinigung die Pfandflaschen mitgenommen.
Generell war das Erlebnis mit dem Personal also eher schwierig.

Positiv zu erwähnen: Eine Barmitarbeiterin der Spätschicht (trug Zöpfe) war total nett und hat uns lieb und freundlich umsorgt.

Dennoch: Wir würden nicht wiederkommen.

Nos cambiaron el tipo de habitación que habíamos reservado sin ningún motivo (nos pusieron en una de minusválidos) y encima tuvimos que estar esperando más de 40 minutos hasta que la tuvieron preparada. La chica de la recepción muy borde. No tienen parking en el hotel (aunque anuncian lo contrario) y tampoco plancha, ni nevera, ni siquiera tetera (aunque esta última está disponible dejando un depósito de 30 euros del que ni tan siquiera te dan un resguardo). Me parecieron muy poco profesionales.

Helt nyt hotel. Men aircondition kunne ikke køle rummet under 23 grader, og der var et ret fugtigt klima på værelset, nok af samme årsag. Rengøring blev glemt.

Zimmer war sauber und groß genug für 2 Personen. Das Badezimmer war auch sauber und gefällt uns sehr gut. Klimaanlage Steuerung ist aber nicht sehr benutzerfreundlich. Personal arbeitet aber etwa langsam beim Checkin. Ein Getränkautomat wäre gut, damit man lange Wartezeit bei dem Bar sparen kann, um die Getränke zu bezahlen.

Ein neues modernes Hotel. Standard Frühstück mit allem, was man erwartet. Positiv : Jeder Gast erhält ein kostenloses ÖPNV Ticket mit dem man, sofern man möchte, die nähere und fernere Umgebung abfahren kann. Wir sind 2-3 Mal in die Konstanzer Innenstadt gefahren. Der Bus hält direkt vorm Hotel, das ja etwas außerhalb liegt. Negativ : In ein Standard Doppelzimmer ein nur 140 cm breites Bett zu stellen ist dann doch fragwürdig. Hat das Geld am Ende des Baus nicht mehr für breitere Betten gereicht ? Parkplätze gibt's kostenfrei überall rund ums Hotel, - wir haben bei einem 6 tägigen Aufenthalt jeden Abend einen Parkplatz gefunden, also kein Problem. McDonalds, Döner und andere Restaurants in Laufweite. Der Döner King ist sehr empfehlenswert.

sehr moderne und saubere Zimmer, schön eingerichtet. Frühstück gut. In die Stadt läuft man ca. 20 Minuten an einer Promenade entlang, man kann aber auch mit dem Bus fahren oder ab der Station Konstanz - Fürstenberg mit der Bahn und ist somit gut angebunden. Für einen Wochenend-Trip würde ich das Hotel jederzeit wieder besuchen.
