The design of Rioca hotel is so beautiful and inviting. Our room was a nice size, clean and comfortable. The hotel staff was very helpful, Patrick especially.

Environmentally conscious and clean, walking down the hall to our room felt like a stroll through a Brazilian rain forest, complete with jungle-themed wall paper and the piped-in audio track of exotic birds. We did not order breakfast as we had a friend cooking for us, but the buffet looked plentiful and tasty. Lots of young families and single young adults.
Parking was in a lot across the street. Lift was out of order and walkway had broken glass. If you take your ticket inside and pay at registration, you have in and out privileges.

The reception desk was located inside the Hotel Restaurant/Bar, which was a little surprising to us. Our key card to access the room was also used to activate lights, Air conditioning etc. in the room, which was unique. When walking through the corridor one would be listening to bird sounds and that was very nice and calming. Parking was available in a Parking Garage across the hotel for a fee collected by the hotel. Overall we had a great stay.

Beautiful hotel with everything you could want and more. Friendly staff, a lovely relaxing roof top terrace. Free coffee from the machine 24/7. Lovely room, air conditioned which was needed, patio, coffee machine, lovely big bed, large tv with WiFi, fridge, nice bathroom, rainfall shower. Not too far from the local train station, I comfortably walked it. An Aldi on route too, I bought my own breakfast so can’t comment on the food.

We were generally happy with our stay. The hotel has everything you might need — especially the kitchen area, which was very well-equipped, even with a small dishwasher. The room was clean and thoughtfully arranged. There’s a parking lot right across the street, including some hotel-designated spots, but you still need to pay the standard fee. Unfortunately, there’s no parking discount for hotel guests.
One downside was that the water wasn’t draining properly in the bathroom, which made taking a shower a bit difficult.

Staff were friendly and helpful. There are complimentary hot drinks at the lobby for guests, simply take a cup and fill up your coffee/tea. The only downside is that the cleaning of the room will only be done in every 3 days. Overall, i enjoyed the stay.

The location is excellent and a wonderful concept which is different to most other hotels. My only negative comment would be that with being on a business trip the seating to work at the desk on my computer was not the most comfortable.

There was poor communication before my stay, and check-in instructions were poorly provided.
I was surprised that there was infrequent housekeeping - again, this was not communicated.

Great apart hotel quite a way out if central Konstanz. The place has just been finished, the glass on the balcony had not been installed was a lump of wood. AC did not work in room. The whole place was super clean and the staff very friendly. The area surrounding is being developed so building work.

Rioca Hotel offers a wonderful immersion into Brazilian culture. The atmosphere is lively yet relaxing, with the sound of birds in the halls and plenty of lush greenery. The rooms, decorated in green and black, feel like a unique escape.
As a newly opened hotel, there are a few areas that still need improvement. The balconies, for instance, are yet to be furnished, and the air conditioning system could use some adjustments. It’s automatic and often shuts off after just five minutes, which made it difficult to keep cool during hot times.
A few small amenities were also missing from the room, Rioca offers hand wash and hair/shower gel, which does have a beautiful scent. However, it would be nice to see the addition of shower caps. The kitchen is well-equipped, with everything you need and some excellent coffee, but it would be great to have a few tea bags and some sugar available as well.
Breakfast was delightful, However, I felt that the breakfast selection could be expanded. While gluten-free bread was available, I would love to see more gluten-free pastry options.

Das Bett fand ich klein 1.40m für zwei erwachsene und auch nicht sher bequem. Die Luft im Zimmer ist nicht so gut. Deshalb hatten wir das Fenster die ganze zeit offen. Im aussengang ist die lufz schrecklich, da helfen auch die duftbläser nicht.

Das Zimmer war ein bisschen klein aber OK. Die Heizung war beim betreten des Zimmers nicht an und der relativ kleine Heizkörper hat es nicht wirklich geschafft nach dem Aufdrehen das Zimmer gut aufzuwärmen und das bei Minus Temperaturen außen.

Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Das Hotel ist sehr liebevoll & tropisch gestaltet. Das hat uns sehr gefallen. Auch die kleine Miniküche in unserem Zimmer fanden wir zauberhaft & haben wir auch genutzt. Alles war vorhanden, uns hat nichts gefehlt. Das Einzigste, was uns etwas irritiert hatte war das Parkhaus auf der anderen Seite. Es gehört mit zum Hotel, allerdings bezahlt man im Hotel einen anderen Preis, als auf der Tafel stand. Wir hatten unsere eigenen Fahrräder mit, wie andere auch. Da wäre ein Fahrradabteil/Keller schön gewesen. Man hatte Möglichkeit sein Fahrrad links vom Hoteleingang abzustellen, da standen aber schon viel zu viele Fahrräder, also haben wir sie immer auf dem Fahrradträger unseres Autos gelassen.

Tolles Themenhotel mit gutem ÖPNV-Anschluss
Das Hotel liegt (wie viele andere Unterkünfte in Konstanz) in einem Gewerbegebiet. Die Zimmer sind modern und bieten eine kleine Küche inkl. Geschirr, Spüler, Kochplatte und Kühlschrank. Wir haben uns wohlgefühlt. Das Frühstück war für den Preis von knapp 20 Euro pro Tag/Person nicht reichhaltig genug, Zutaten waren aber hochwertig. Dafür gibt es rund um die Uhr eine Kaffeemaschine zur kostenlosen Benutzung. Die Dachterrasse ist chillig und bietet einen Blick auf den Rhein und die Schweiz.
Mit dem Bus (Bodenseecard gibt es dort gratis) ist man schnell in der Stadt oder auch auf der Insel Mainau. Kostenlose Parkplätze gibt es an der Straße (unbedingt nur in gekennzeichneten Flächen parken!). Direkt gegenüber von dem Hotel gibt es ein kleines Parkhaus für 10 Euro pro Tag. Ob Konstanz selbst eine Reise wert ist, muss man selbst entscheiden. Für uns waren nur Mainau, Reichenau und eben die Bodenseelandschaft Highlights. Die Stadt selbst fanden wir nicht ansprechend.

Ob Konstanz selbst eine Reise wert ist, muss man selbst entscheiden. Für uns waren nur Mainau, Reichenau und eben die Bodenseelandschaft Highlights. Die Stadt selbst fanden wir nicht ansprechend.

Nettes Hotel mit interessantem Konzept. Gute Lage, da der Bus fast vor der Tür ins Zentrum fährt. Durch die Bodenseecard, welche man bei ankunft elektronisch erhält, hat man freie Fahrt mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel. Andere Vorteile haben wir nicht genutzt.

Yol durumundan dolayı otele geç giriş yapmak zorunda kaldık fakat 23:00 sonrası otel kapısı kapalıydı ve giriş yapacak bir imkan yoktu. Şans eseri Yürüyüşe çıkan iki otel misafirinin otele girişi ile içeri girebildik ve check in i kendimiz yapıp odalarımıza girebildik. Onlar olmasaydı kesinlikle sokakta kalacaktık.

Das Personal war sehr nett und das Zimmer in sehr gutem Zustand und sauber. Das einzige was preislich nicht gepasst hat war das Frühstück. Das war OK, für das gebotene aber viel zu teuer. Für knapp 20 € hatte ich in anderen Hotels deutlich besseres Frühstück.

Das Hotel und das brasilianische Konzept des Hotels hat uns gut gefallen. Die Zimmer waren modern eingerichtet und das Flair das Hotels im Dschungelstil mit Vogelstimmen ist schon eine schöne Idee.
Alle Zimmer haben eine Küchenzeile und sind eher als Apartment als ein normales Hotelzimmer.
Im Bad gibt es eine Regenwalddusche, die, wenn sie ordnungsgemäß funktioniert auch entsprechendes Flair vermittelt. Die Rückwände der Dusche sind als Regenwald gestaltet und der Boden vermittelt den Eindruck, auf Holzplatten zu stehen.
Leider ging das Konzept jedoch nicht auf, weil der Duschablauf verstopft war und die große Glaswand nur mittelmäßig gereinigt war.
Auf dem Dach gibt es eine Rooftop-Terasse. Sehr schön – leider jedoch ohne entsprechende Bar. Auch vor der Aufzug leider nicht ins Geschoss mit der Terasse, so dass man die Getränke, die man sich im Erdgeschoss an der Theke holen konnte, dann das letzte Geschoss über Treppen und eine schwergängig Brandschutztür auf das Dach tragen musste.
Vieles war schön gedacht – aber in der Ausführung dann doch nicht ganz durchdacht.
Dennoch hat uns ganz gut gefallen – mit den erwähnten Einschränkungen.

Super schlechte Erfahrung. Hotel war voll und es der Service deswegen sehr schlecht.
Frühstückt war traurig um 9:30Uhr schon nichts mehr vorhanden und das für 19€. Ich würde das Rioca in Konstanz nicht mehr buchen.

Excellent value for the price, studio modern and clean, friendly staff. Marcos F was very helpful with advice on local restaurants. They have a place to store bikes but as it's not locked they were fine with us keeping our bikes in our room.
