The staff was great. Friendly and helpfull. The room was good . Cleaned everyday even change the sheets upen request. The Breakfast was awesome lots of choices.
The onlys reason i did not give a five star was the A/C. While i understand Shanghai was goingnin to winter the room was really hot even when the heater was turned off. Whe brought up the issue to the front desk their fix was to give us a fan. This is a Marriott hotel thats insane.

An aged hotel, the 1st room I got has a smell like some sort of smoke. The air filter has dust and not well maintained, But the hotel moved me to a second room with acceptable room. The breakfast is so so in Asia. Maybe it is close to the Shanghai city center, it is expensive, but quality is not there.

The sidewalk was torn up replacing water pipes near both entrances and the extremely rude moped drivers think they have right-of-way on the sidewalks over pedestrians. The property interior was very nice but many of the facilities (bar, lounge bar, etc.) were closed for renovation. Rooms and service were very good to excellent.

The hotel was clean and service was good. But they showed me 3 non-smoking rooms and all of them had smell of smoking. I had to open window and turn off air-conditioning as I suspect the smell came from the air-conditioning tunnel. They need to clean the carpets to remove the smell..

Reason for not recommending because for the same price paid, you can have better option with better maintained facilities. But if you need to travel in and out frequently, then this is really a good option - 2 minute walking distance to the metro station and taxis available easily too. Food choices plenty within 5 minute walk from 3 sides of the hotel.

Hotel is just ok. I’ve stayed at worse and stayed a lot better. For the price we couldn’t complain too much. Bar prices are way over the top. Only one English speaking team member. The area is not great as the subway is not walking distance. Be prepared to catch taxis.

As every other comment, hotel is on the old side. Breakfast was ok. Location was good for our needs.
Staff is typical. Happy hour is free!!! for platinum members, unfortunatly that is specified only after you order. Top floor restaurant was super busy, had to reserve. Didnt try it but smelled good. Sports bar was empty with blasting air con.

the most horrible 5 stars hotel we have stayed and it doesn't deserve 5 stars....3 stars is more like it. Taxi drivers always confused with 2 hotels that has exactly the same name and near each other. the bedsheets feels rough and unclean, very unprofessional staffs claiming client's fault ( instead of apologising) when bathroom hanger fall on client's feet.

The location is good, just 5 minutes walk to metro station. Overall the hotel is good in terms of service and comfort. Wifi is fast and lots of choice for breakfast. The only bad thing was that the toilet had bad smell.

The location of the hotel is good but the hotel staffs are rather useless, I had requested twice for calling the taxi and the second time they have ended up calling an Uber which is quite pricy in my opinion. The room is clean but dated, a lot of the amenities are from the 90s it seems. Paid too much for the name of Sheraton!!

Been staying here for over 10 years whenever I'm in town for business. Great location, but so difficult to get a taxi, but that's Shanghai and not the hotel's fault. Metro station is just a short walk away if you don't mind public transportation. Great foot massage place across the street and there's a mall a block away that has a food court downstairs along with Bread Talk and Starbuck at the entrance so it's convenient to grab a bite.

Quiet heaven in busy Shanghai

I stayed here 3 days the hotel staff is extremely helpful. The area is not too busy and Subway station Tangqiao is very close (exit 3). Next time Shanghai I will choose this hotel again.
Breakfast is overpriced Rmb 170 as Well as high speed internet Rmb 90 but there is a shopping mall next to the hotel where They have an excellent bakery and internet in the lobby is free.

Clean economical 4 star hotel not centrally located in a tourist area -- but only steps away from Shamghai's vast and efficient metro system making it a snap to get virtually anywhere. I've stayed here before, so plenty good enough for me to come back. One small snafu at check-in, they somehow didn't have my reservation (which alway makes one wonder what went wrong. But I had a copy in my coomputer and upon showing it, they quicklyl provided the room accommodation including a small upgrade for the trouble. Sort of helped that I was Starwood Gold also. In the end was able to take the subway & trains from this hotel to and from Pudong airport as well as to Wuxi -- more comfortable than those long journeys would be in a smelly hot Shahghai taxi.

The location of this hotel is great. There are three hotels in this corner including Sheraton Pudong, so there are many business nearby supporting hotel guests.

Service was good and as expected for a Four Points in China.

The guest rooms need serious updating. Outdated styling aside, the carpet in the room I stayed in was mottled with stains. Please at least replace the carpets, Four Points management!

The gym was adequate - a few machines and some free weights.

In would stay here again based on location, but only if I could not get a room at the Sheraton next door, which I was unable to this trip.

Th hotel was very well located and clean but the service was questionable. Few people could speak english, the 29th floor restaurant was absolutely awefull
(food and service) I was expecting a lot better being in Shanghai . I had stayed at the Four Point Quindao airport the night before and was very very satisfied with everything, hotel, service, food this was a great place. The one in Shanghai unfortunately unless they improve on quality/service I will not return

Better values in Shanghai for business travellers

Stayed for 2 nights during business in Shanghai. Hotel is a bit run-down compared with other 4 points I have stayed at. The price was okay but right next door is a Sheraton that had almost the same rate and would have been better.

Main dissapointments:
- carpet in room was very worn
- general condition around elevators and lobby were subpar
- the workout room had some equipment not operating
- very busy breakfast area around 8am

Four Points Sheraton in Shanghai Pudong

The overall experience was awesome. The breakfast was awesome too except to be charged. Always like to stay at Four Points Sheraton. Definately will be back to stay.

The only issue to mention was the second morning breakfast hashbrowns tasted like yesterday's reheated leftovers.

Need more customer focused approach

The lobby was very noisy and chaotic when I checked-in. The staff seems inexperienced handling big groups due to Expo. For non expo guests trying to check in there is no quick check in. I had to wait long time before all expo check in was completed. The hotel staff have problem with understanding English. I had the same issue when I stayed them back in March. For simple instruction about my dietary needs they had to transfer the call 4 times and finally hung up! Breakfast is expensive. I only found out after entering the breakfast room that the breakfast was not covered in my hotel charge! The reservation had no idea if my charge was included. During check-in the staff mentioned that I was upgraded to a new room and the High speed internet is free. However during the check out another staff wanted to charge for the internet use. I have stayed in Fourpoints in Taipei and Shenzhen. I will say it is day and night experience. I certainly see Fourpoints in Taipei is more organized and customer friendly than the Pudong Fourpoints. I hope the Pudong Fourpoints improve the customer experience.

Nice hotel- great location

Everything was superb during my stay on business with exception of the conceierge and check out. There was not enough staff to handle the amount of people. Although many staff members were standing around, nothing was happening and people were complaining. My vote would be to have less security members of staff and more who actually do something. I almost missed my plane as a result. One of the managers helped me bring my bags out to get a taxi after waiting 30 mintues to check out.

Be aware of the surrounding neighborhood

Our 7 night stay at this hotel was not too bad. Unfortunately about 80 mt from the hotel there is a place called Rosewood which is basically a tourist trap. People from Rosewood just hang out around the entrance of the hotel trying to collect customers for their scam. The ridiculous thing is that the hotel security basically knows what is going on but pretends that nothing is happening.

I have told the problem and the disturbance of the situation to the hotel management. They seemed to not care as they have not got back to me about the solution not to mention that they already know.

My humble opinion is that It is a shame and embarrassment for the name SHERATON.

Anyway, next time we will definitely not choose this hotel for our stay. I'll definitely recommend the east Nanjing area for travelers for their lodging preference.

Dieses Hotel macht einen luxuriösen Eindruck. Die Zimmer sind schön groß, sauber, und der Ausblick auf die Stadt ist toll (jedenfalls wenn man in einem höheren Stockwerk untergebracht ist). Das Frühstücksbuffet ist sehr umfangreich und gut. Es gibt in einem zweiten, direkt angrenzenden Sheraton-Hotel auch ein Restaurant, in dem man (gegen überschaubare Zusatzkosten) Abendessen kann. Zweimal pro Woche gibt es dort auch ein Buffet.

In diesem Hotel selbst gibt es zwar auch ein Restaurant, das aber auch während der angeschrieben Öffnungszeiten geschlossen war. Dasselbe gilt für die Bar: offenbar gibt es keine Möglichkeit mehr was zu Trinken. Zwar gibt es eine Bar, diese war aber während unserem Aufenthalt nie besetzt (laut Rezeption gibt es auch gar keine mehr - vielleicht ein Relikt aus früheren Zeiten).

I enjoyed the stay. Cleaning service was superb. The metro station is right next to the hotel and the lobby is big and clean.

However, the equipment (TV) is pretty old. Sadly I requested a Taxi Transfer to Hongqiao Airport but it took quite long to aquire a Taxi. Hence I missed my flight.

전반적으로 오래된 느낌이며, 여느 중국 호텔의 넑은 객실 크기에 비해 국내 호텔 수준의 일반적인 룸 사이즈를 보여 줌.
욕조는 있으나 샤워 부스가 별도로 없으며, 비데도 없는 작은 화장실로 구성되어 있으며,
방문 시기의 쌀쌀한 날씨에도 불구하고, 난방 성능이 여의치 못했음.
