Great service from the staff. Nothing was too much trouble. The bed was clean and comfortable. Free car parking. Close to the train station to get into the centre of Paris.

Dont pay for breakfast - its awful

Breakfast is terrible here. Tables are not cleaned or cleared of plates / bowls. Also no clean plates and bowls available as they are all still on the tables!! Juice machine not working, scrambled eggs made from powder not real eggs, poor cereal selection. pastries taste old and stale. very poor.

Hotel advertised as 4 star hotel on hotel's.Com but this is actually a 2 star hotel very small rooms asked 3 single bed in each room but the gave u 2 small single beds on reception staff is not very help full very misleading information on hotel's.Com. regarding this hotel paid over 300 euros

AC is not designed well enough

good hotel in Cergy with nice breakfast, comfortable bed and updated room. The main issue I had is that the AC is not working well enough to cool down the room at night when the weather is hot, and there is no screen at the window like everywhere else in France so you can't leave your window open either if you care about mosquitos. It was hot in the room, too hot to sleep comfortably

Facility was adequate and the free onsite parking was definitely a bonus.

The bed and sofa is comfy and there is sufficient working space. Hotel is highly recommended for a business trip.

The reviews about the wifi are accurate, it's rock solid.

My only gripe is that the building is showing signs of age. Wall decor seems to be a little dated with the rough textured wall design and old lighting. The heating in the room is controlled by a manual thermostat dial that doesn't seem to work very well. I noticed other occupants requesting for additional heating as the built-in heating was insufficient and the vents were blowing cold air.

The fitness room has a couple machines, a combination workout machine, cycling machine, eliptical machine, and two treadmills. It's not a full-fledged gym so no free weights if that is what you're looking for.

The gourmet bar serves decent food but if you ever get hungry and not want to leave the hotel, there's always UberEats!

The bed was extremely small and the mattress terribly uncomfortable…way too small for 2 people!
The room has no cross ventilation and air was stagnant, no air conditioning.
Almost no storage place for clothing, no drawers, only a few hangers, had to live out of a valise!
Had to wait 3 days till room safe was repaired.
Hotel needs a total and complete renovation.

Business Trip in Cergy Area

I have stayed at Novotel Cergy a couple of times and will likely return as it is conveniently located for business. Overall, I would rate the hotel as very good: particularly good value for money. The hotel is comfortable, although some of the furnishings in the rooms are perhaps a little tired. Hotel has a good restaurant (only open Mon-Thurs at present. Presumably due to Covid?). Cergy port is a 10 min walk away, with a few nice food & drink options.

Two guys on the London to Paris cycle trip. Hotel had good cycle storage, was clean, comfortable, great pool. Not the best of locations, quiet area. Went down to the restaurant for food in the evening to be told it was not open. Only bar snacks available not great but OK. Whilst in the bar, three coaches turned up and the passengers checked in. They then went into the restaurant for a meal, this was the reason the restaurant was not available to us. Breakfast was a farce. Too many people, not enough tables, staff, cutlery, food etc. etc. On a normal day without coaches I'm sure it would be OK. The situation would not put me off booking this hotel in the future.We had walked down to the port (10 mins) for some food in the afternoon, really nice little area lined with cafes/bars restaurants so the lack of evening meal was not a major issue.

The purpose of our trip was to visit family in the area. The location of this hotel is good - five minutes on foot to Port au Cergy, lakes and Cergy Village. Large mall and supermarket close by. Parks right behind hotel and many restaurants within walking distance. The hotel is a bit run down though. It could use a makeover and modern decor. Good wifi connection.

We used the hotel as a base for our trips to EuroDisney, Paris and Giverny. The room was excellent and the staff were really helpful. I only speak very basic French so the effort made by hotel staff to speak English was very much appreciated. The only thing we would have liked different was an air conditioned room as it was rather hot at night however this didn’t spoil our stay. We’ll definitely be returning to this hotel. The car park is really secure. Local shops being close was an added bonus and the park area was great for our kids.

Very nice hotel for a reasonable price

Staff very friendly, breakfast great, room very comfortable. Short walk to the train and bus, making it easy access to Paris.And there is a local bus that goes to and from CDG for 2 Euros. Cergy itself is a pretty little city.

Great stopover hotel - Breakfast really good

Stop-over night as part of a drive through France. Hotel was as expected, easy to find, lots of parking, dated from the outside but the rooms were more than acceptable. The corridors (and at times in the room) often smelt of cigarette smoke despite that area of the hotel being non-smoking.

The pool looked enticing but we never got time to use it.

The breakfast we very nice and had a great selection.

All staff friendly and helpful.

Nice Hotel - But!

Everything started off well - we arrived about 7.00pm. we were informed the restaurant was closed but bar snack were available of which there was limited choice. I had a room on the ground floor and it sounded like there was a party outside my room. I think it was by the pool, but the receptionist said it could be in the park adjacent to the hotel. Anyway The party went on until 1.30am and I got virtually no sleep as we had to be up the next day. In addition the room was very warm, with the air conditioning not seemingly working. I did mention the noise to the receptionist on leaving and she seem fairly uninterested. My friends had a better night as they were further away on the higher floors.

A really good location to Paris and a lovely hotel with lots of space, plus a welcoming swimming pool after a 50 mile bike ride to get there. Breakfast was plentiful and good. There was secure bicycle storage for our bikes. Walking distance to some nice restaurants and a lovely green space.

Went not for golf but Babyfoot (reason option should list sport rather than golf as a drop-down option). We had booked a smoking room but none were available. Hotels.com should be searchable by whether smoking rooms are offered! Hotel was clean and staff were helpful - two other gripes - the lifts were at the end of a long corridor from reception, and the impression was given when we arrived that breakfasts were included but we were charged separately for breakfasts on departure without the (extortionate) price being notified in advance.

Dinner at restaurant was not good experience. The service was slow and they forgot my side dish completely. Breakfasts are always busy and they ran out hot food pretty soon. My colleague had some bad sausages and was convinced it was some leftovers.
The room is reasonable. However the laundry wasn't collected by cleaners.

Very nice hotel, nice area and convenient for CIty

Stayed with my wife and 4 kids - Very nice hotel, staff were superb and the rooms immaculate. Was very 'business class' and having stayed in hotels with my business would certainly recommend this but equally it was goo for families - Cergy is a nice safe area (not really much to see there ) but even still, the hotel is still gated and has intercom on the gate. Staff spoke English every bit as well as I did - and were very helpful. 10 mins walk max from Cergy Prefecture RER/Metro station which is a 35 min train ride from the main attractions. This was a flying visit for us to try out to see if we want to use it for a longer stay and I will definitely be using it again.

All in the party were happy with the hotel

The hotel was appreciated by the 3 generations in our party. The free internet station and Xbox were a nice extra.The public areas and rooms were spotless. The staff were friendly and helpful. We used the hotel as a base to visit Paris about a 45 minute drive away. A short walk away was a harbour area with a small cluster of restaurants.

Good hotel for what I wanted

Traveled from Versaille to visit Monet's home/gardens and then to Auver for Van Gogh's room and grave. This was the nearest hotel to Auver that seemed acceptable. It's on a college campus, walking distance to a few restaurants. Felt very safe. Nice, lit parking. Very short drive to CDG airport to turn in my car and take the train to Paris. Helpful staff, nice room. My only comment about Novotel is that the mattresses are like rocks. Perhaps that's how the French/Europeans prefer their mattresses? For me, though, a little too severe.

physically a very nice hotel...except the fact that the Express Breakfast, which they told us was a \"continental breakfast with fruit\" was one coffee, one juice, one croissant, no butter, no marmelade. We complained and the manager gave us a lecture. Incredible. French arrogance at its best. Where in France do they not serve butter and jam with a croissant? Buyer beware.

Es ist unverständlich dass das Personal kein Englisch spricht beim Check in. Zudem kam dass es IT Probleme gab. Zimmer wurde bereits vorbezahlt aber trotzdem doppelt gebucht. Eine Gutschrift auf die Kreditkarte wäre wohl nicht möglich. Nach dem Aufenthalt wurde meine Kreditkarte gesperrt aufgrund Missbrauch.

Badezimmer stank da das Wasser nicht abfloss.
Bett war unbequem. Insgesamt schlechter Service und Aufenthalt. Nicht nochmal.
