The hotel, the location and the staff were all really good. The only downside was the weekend we chose to go there happened to be when there was some motorbike convention. We were on the 5th floor with a sea view only to be woken at 7.30 each morning by revving motorbikes.

Great location and clean. If you like sleep ask for a room away from the front entrance bar. Breakfast was not great value for money. Reception was poor on arrival, no information was relayed as to breakfast times etc.

Free extended checkout for one hour and 10 euro pr hr after that. Massive help. Close to restaurants bars shops ice cream parlours excellent bus service to take you to city centre and towns for €1.30 each way. Taxis and ranks on hand. €6 euro to puerto chico next town full of eateries bars and by harbour. Only downfall of hotel is no pool and not a great menu in restaurant and bit of an odour so never ate there. Has a gym and salons and specialised delicatessan next door.

I was very happy staying here. The room was absolutely gorgeous, spacious, super clean, had tons of storage, bed was comfortable, shower was beautiful with excellent pressure and temperature. I have zero complaints about this room. The rest of the hotel is gorgeous also and well maintained. I only ate the breakfast buffet one morning because I'm not used to eating those types of foods first thing in the morning, but those who love a large assortment of meats, cheeses, eggs, fruit and pastries would be in heaven. I did eat dinner in the dining room twice and the meals were excellent. The location cannot be beat. Grocery store is a 3 minute walk from hotel. 3 minute walk also to catch buses to go all over the city which I did during my week stay here. I bought a bus card for 10 Euro which took me everywhere, easily, conveniently and was a great way to explore Santander. My one and only complaint is a dog across the street who starts barking Every. Single. Evening. The staff did offer to change my room but I love this room and my view and decided to fall asleep to the TV instead.

Good quality hotel overall. Room was comfortable and clean, parking garage very convenient at 18 euros per night. Free on street parking is also available. There is no outside space to relax in, which would have been nice, considering the beach location. We found limited dining options in the immediate area, particularly on a festival day. The town was vibrant with lots of bars and restaurants but is a 30 minute walk. Beaches are lovely and we enjoyed walking along the promenade.

Used for an overnight stop in Santander. In a very nice, - I'd say - quite upmarket part of Santander. It's within a 5 minute walk of one of the main beaches and there are plenty of reasonably priced restaurants/bars within very easy walking distance (which might be important because the hotel restaurant seemed a bit pricey - not that we used it). Great location for the Ferry to Plymouth, which is just a 10 minute drive away.

A hulking '70's facade reveals a very nice resort hotel within. Convenient on site parking. Our room was large and comfortable with a sea view. Comfortable large bed and excellent bath facilities. Several nice restaurants down the street and just steps away from the beautiful beach. Not in the center of town but a pleasant residential area right on the sea.

We stay here every time we take the ferry to Portsmouth (so at least 4 time per year). The staff are always helpful and friendly. The only disappointment we have is that there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room and in common with a lot of Spanish Hotels the soundproofing, especially late at night is not always adequate.and that the WI-FI is not very secure again in common with many Spanish Hotels

The location of the hotel is great, but is a big and old hotel that needs some updating. The WiFi didn’t work well. The hair dryer was horrible and since it kept turning off, it took me forever to dry my hair. The personnel at the reception desk were unfriendly and not helpful at all even with the simplest things. They should remember that they have a job because of us, tourists.

The Hotel was well appointed and very clean. Our room was very comfortable and clean. The only down side was that a Disco was held in the Hotel on Saturday night and the vibration of the bass was loud enough to wake me up and I could not back to sleep until the Disco had finished.
