Just an okay stay

Hotel is okay but requires a refresh to bring back up to standards, a fresh coat of paint would go a long way. Rooms were spacious with a nice little patio. Rooftop bar/restaurant presented a nice view.

The photos online on the rooftop pool have been filtered to improve the image of what you will actually receive, though all was still nice, do not expect the level of what you see in the photos from the hotel.

Breakfast was okay and the menu changed daily. Food was not refreshed very quickly and service was non attentive. Nothing too special here.

I stayed under the gym and was woken up daily by people using the gym. The hotel booked a party one night, that lasted until 1 am. One lunch hour, the hotel booked a school function, making the rooftop not useable for the hotel guests.

Overall, I would not stay here again. For the price, I didn’t leave overly disappointed but I left wanting more.

Very nice hotel….did not seem very busy while I stayed here for three weeks….I had the one bedroom apartment which was very nice…TV in living area and Bedroom and a nice kitchenette. Staff very friendly and my room was cleaned daily. Lots of restaurant options in Bonk Kang Kong district plus a short tuk tuk ride to the scenic riverfront.

I booked this hotel so my mom can have a great time in Phnom Penh. But when we got there, front desk service was not great. No one helped my 72-year-old mother with her backpack when we checked in (I was carrying our other things, and my own backpack).

I paid for a second card at the front desk and when I tried it, it didn’t work. I called them and they told me I had to come down to front desk again to fix it. This process could’ve been more convenient.

I also asked them to help me book a bus (they had the brochure for it). They said yes they can book it so I booked my hotel at my next destination—with the information that I can book my bus later. After that, I came down to confirm my bus and they said they forgot to check before they said yes to me, but they can’t book my bus because the Giant Ibis offices were closed (New Year’s) and “how would I call them if they’re closed?” were her words. I get that but they could’ve been more attentive.

Staff at breakfast were helpful and friendly enough though!

Not recommended for solo female travellers

I felt uncomfortable anytime I went to the pool area. There was a man there asking to take a photo of me. He took that ok as a free for all and went to the extent on filming with a drone without asking.
Also my safe had an error and my passport was stuck for a few hours right before departure.
Not many food options near the hotel.

Very affordable hotel.

Staff was very friendly on check in and helpful.

We only stayed one night and was a great find.

Breakfast had an omelet station and a mix of Asian and Western foods.

Beds were okay. Not as soft as other hotels in the area. They also were not super hard.

The pool was nice and the workout room was small but adequate.

Took 1.5 hrs after check in time to get room. The bed was so hard it would have been easier to sleep on the floor. After they cleaned the room took one call to front desk and two trips down to front desk to get towels and toilet paper and then they blamed us for it not being brought up said we had the do not disturb sign out which I did earlier in the morning but was taken off after we hate breakfast and left for most of the day. For the money they charge I was disappointed. Breakfast was ok

Unclean, unfriendly, reluctant, poorly trained staff!
1st our room was not cleaned and after our complains they swept the dirt from one corner to the other. The couch was also full of long black hair - they had no vacuum (at the hotel) so they picked the hair by hand.... but at the end everything was still dirty.
2nd one shower drain was blocked and so the whole bath/toilet flooded- we had to complain 3 times and waited more than 6 hours. At the end the manager came with cleaning staff and they used a FORK from our kitchen!!!! to clean the drain and put that disgusting stuff in a towel! Manager directly with them!?
3rd no coffee possible to order at the breakfast- they ran out of coffee beans!
4th no towels at the pool at 9am (pool opened at 7) we would have to wait one hour or maybe longer they told us...
5th poor breakfast choices. And than they cut the mini croissants in half - you can guess why! No refill of water, juice and cups.....

There are water leakage issue and a plumber was sent to fix. However, the plumber couldn’t speak English and I had to make contact with customer service again To find out what the issue wasand what the plan was. None of the customer derive came up to check on us. They did not offer a change of room voluntarily while the plumber was doing the work. However, my request for room change was fulfilled when I asked for it.

This hotel ia 2 years old, facilities are still new and good. The breakfast spread is good with a great city view at the roof top. The location is great with a AEON mini mart at the hotel lobby that sells everything. It also has a few tuk tuk drivers which charge very reasonbale rate for round trips to markets and places of interest.

The hotel was fine, cute and clean, you don't go their for their food, and don't order a taxi from them from the airport. I waited 40 minutes, called them (no answer), messaged them through hotel.com (no answer). Took my own taxi to the hotel. To find the receptionist sleeping. He was the one that brought up the taxi service I booked, so they did know... When I asked why my taxi wasn't there, he seemed to already expect that no one would arrive and was not bothered by it and just took it off my bill and hurried me to my room.

I arrived first,then my husband.I liked this hotel so much that we have stayed here for many weeks now. The staff and front desk manager are amazing. They helped with getting some urgent documents printed then scanned, and also they made getting my visa extended very simple. We highly appreciate all of the extra care and attention.The rooms are very nice, clean well appointed. Beautiful pool,amazing views,nice work out room. The location is great also...we enjoyed everything. The staff, front desk manager, really went all out - we will miss them.

The hotel location was quite convenient, specially with a large convenience store right under the building. The staff were polite and helpful. Hotel facilities were good but they can make some simple improvements to make it better.
Some gym equipment were not working properly and there was no towels and drinking water in the gym.
The swimming pool was nice but access was limited until 6pm. Would be nice to keep it open till 9 pm.
Over all it was good value for money.

need better staffs

the worst experience in the world. booked a apartment type room, no pots&pans&sponge which i requested 3days to get it. no laundry order sheet, also waited 3days and got only 2sheets like i have to ask for it every time!? finally just before i was out of clean clothes.
i had to call reception, which they dont call back for followup. had to go to reception several times in the night to recieve my laundry, which one of my clothes were missing.
the facility and location is good, but the kind of customer service they provide is so bad.

Overall a pleasant experience!

We used to live in Phnom Penh, so when we were planning a homecoming visit, we chose this hotel as it was close to the Independence Monument and other places we were intending to visit. There was the slight inconvenience of having to cross the large road by foot to access the BKK area south of the Monument, but this should not be much of an issue if you are accustomed to the road conditions in this part of Asia. Otherwise, the location was very convenient and we enjoyed shopping at the Aeon mart right next door as well.

The room itself was very cozy and adequately furnished. Pasteur 51 did a great job of creating storage space for our belongings without making it feel cramped with oddly-placed shelves. As a family of 3, we also appreciated the combination of a King + Twin size bed. The other amenities met our expectations, with the slight exception of the shower gel not being replenished during our stay (we were only there for 2 nights though, so this wasn't that big of an issue). The breakfast items changed slightly in the two days that we ate there and the quality was fine. One final (small) issue is that the outside breakfast area was way too hot to sit in, and the AC unit in the room took a while to kick in...but overall we had a very positive experience at this hotel!

They were very stingy with the towels at the pool, and without a towel the vinyl sun chairs were not comfy. Not enough shade around the pool. Poor service, adequate breakfast. Location was decent. We arrived very early and they sent us to wait at the pool until 2pm which was a long hot wait in the sun.

The property is new and superbly maintained. The staff is very helpful and most speak English. There is a convenience store right adjacent to the hotel and several restaurant on the street. The restaurant, bar, and infinity pool are on the roof so there's a nice breeze and a great view of the city.

The hotel is relatively new in a convenient location. It suffers from loud noises from the ongoing building work and frequent electricity power cuts. Also, spurious mini-bar charges appeared at the end of my stay and the USD deposit for a replacement room card was never returned. The layout of the restaurant feels awkward as it directly overlooks the pool area. Breakfast is average and uninspiring.

I was told that there would be free breakfast along with my 2 day stay. And when I woke up during the hours of 6am-10am for breakfast I ended up speaking to a staff that knew absolutely no English and would insist on me oaying extra for breakfast. And this breakfast is more expensive then a typical breakfast (the same meal) at any other occomidation.

Stay 4 nights in the hotel. let down by some rules of hotel. 1: only 1 key to door, ask why as we were a couple staying, hotel policy , had to complain finally gave 2 keycard but hard to deposit usd 10,
waited for 15-30mins for check it as room not ready even at 4pm, enter room ask for extra pillow but hotel policy only provide one extra, rooms were very dusty and not clean, did a wipe with a tissue paper on desk, and it turn greyish black,
only plus it brand new, one month old to date, but not comfortable accommodation as bed were hard and pillow just too huge and high leading to back / neck ache,
stay in a one bedroom apartment, size of room was ok for the price, wish had a shower unit rather than a bathtub ,
location was ok, on Pastuer 51 street, pretty central street in Phnom Penh.
expected more with the price we paid, however, it was a let down by hotel policies ,and far to new to expect better service as take time to train personnel,
Oh . I forgot to add, breakfast was buffet style but seldom replenish when dishes are empty, and funny part is I ask for Ice cube but ok reply that there no ice at present time as too early to have Ice ??!!!

On arriving at the hotel we were told they were overbooked so we had to stay elsewhere for our first night. I found this a little unsettling as we were ask to pay straight away then sent off to another hotel. The other hotel was ok With similar facilities. I did feel they should have offered us something more than an apology and eventually we received $5 towards a tuk tuk we hired for the day whilst we had no room available.
Excellent roof top pool with stunning views unfortunately it closes at 5pm. Rooms comfortable enough although noisy for those at the front of the hotel opposite a building site. I didn’t like the sink not being in the bathroom but in the bedroom. On the whole the hotel offers good value if you manage to stay there in one of the back rooms.

I just want to explain my rating. We had reserved a double bed but we were given twins without any explanation. We objected and we were told that we would have a room in an hour. We waited by the pool but no one came to get us. We had to go back to the lobby and finally we were given a suite. Now no complains about that. Our stay was wonderful. The roof top pool was awesome. Excellent breakfast with lots of choices.

I LOVED this hotel! The staff, everyone from the reception to the housekeeping to the food and drink service, was super-super friendly and accommodating. The hotel had a wonderful view of the city on its rooftop terrace and included a rooftop infinity pool. Nicely decored and kept up. Next time I come back to PNH, I will be staying here again!

We enjoyed our stay at Pasteur 51 Hotel and our visit to Phnom Penh staff were very friendly and helpful Hotel is conveniently located and spotless the breakfast is plentiful and excellent variety of food.The only disappointment was my dinner in the terrace restaurant which was supposed to be a T bone steak but was mostly bone and no meat..I broke my own rule of not eating dinner in hotels but we were tired on arrival so didn't desire to go sightseeing..but found excellent restaurant by the river for the remainder of our stay.Our tuk tuk Ton Ton was excellent he's usually outside hotel.

Good hotel but all facilities are very stretched.

Pasteur 51 is a good class of hotel in many ways, but in other ways it is not. The reception area is modern, stylish and functional, and as it is a quite large hotel, then there is really constant busy activity with guests at reception, arriving or departing, or with their own personal situations. As such the reception staff are always overworked, but they cope very well indeed with the high workload with politeness and dignity. The rooms are all fine, strikingly modern and stylish also, but the rest of the hotel interior is very drab and dismal, especially all the hotel corridors which are distinctly unattractive and gloomy. There is a rooftop terrace 12th floor with superb views of the wide Independence Avenue town centre, and it is a combined dining room, bar and pool area, but this single open plan floor is truly far too small for all of these three facilities. The small dining area is area overcrowded at breakfast being far too small for the demand of the usage of all guests, and so then waiting for a vacant table at breakfast, and eating on top of the remains of the last dining room occupants is unfortunately normal...Hmm.. The pool is also far too small only really a splash pool, and there are only about 4 divan loungers for the whole hotel to use...! The bar and pool area fills up so very quickly, especially with smokers..!, and whoever gets the loungers are very lucky..! Nice hotel but I would say overpriced for all that it is..

The pool was stunning and relaxing and such a great view. The night bar was not too busy. Beds were very comfortable. Room was quiet and clean. Staff was knowledgeable.

The roof top pool was lovely. We do not go for the bar scene and this little bar was very nice. I am accustomed to a nice firm but soft bed and was a little worried the bed would be firmer than I like. The bed was very comfortable. Rooms were quiet and well insulated. The hallways were not air conditioned so they were naturally breezy. Very nice time.

フロントデスクに英語の通じる人が1人しかいない。
レイトチェックアウトの価格を確認したら、前日は20ドル、当日は25ドル、チェックアウトの時は50ドル請求された。
掃除はok、設備が古い？シャワーはスイッチをいれないとお湯がでない。その説明はないのでホテルの感覚で宿泊すると厳しい。

とても良いけど、部屋により評価が大きく変わります

部屋によって大きく快適さが異なります。道路側は夜、近隣レストランが騒がしく、少し不快でしたし、昼も正面のビルの換気ダクト騒音が気になります。但し、道路の反対側客室はとても快適でした。その他は、フロントの対応も良く、下にはマックスバリュ・スーパーマーケットがあるので快適でした。次回は、部屋の位置を指定して宿泊しようと思います。
